The birthday party of V was organised in the grand hotel in Seoul. Jungkook was the one incharge of the venue and the decoration arrangement while Jimin and Kai dealing with invitation of guest and food services.
Jungkook had booked the whole hotel for the function, along with the suite rooms for every guest to stay for a night.Also there was special programs and fireworks were arranged as a part of new year celebrations.
Jungkook wasn't too keen to conduct such type of grand party.He wanted them to celebrate tae's birthday in their home, in private, only with some close friends and family.
But Jimin and Kai was so adamant and forced him to book a whole hotel itself. They said something like 'it's how V should celebrate his birthday'. Jungkook couldn't get their logic but finally give in to their compelling.
Jungkook entered the hotel inspecting the last minute of decorations.The guests were started to join them and his family were already present at the venue.
He entered the banquet hall that was marvelous ,decorated wonderfully upto the twenty feet high ceiling.Also the bells and flowers arrangement made the hall pleasent to eyes.
The name V and the letters of happy birthday were hang proudly at the center of the hall , behind the strawberry cake on the table.He nod satisfied with the arrangements.
Jungkook smiled when Jimin's youngest hug his one foot suddenly.He picke the boy up in his arms."Where are others little one?".
"Nonnna and mee are playing!".
"Uh?What game are you playing?". Jungkook enquire, pinching his adorable cheek softly.
"Uncle!".
Jungkook turn to Bora only to met with a irritated scowl on her face.She had grown beautiful over these past years."Uncle, Why he is up in your hands? We are playing hide and seek!".She says ,her eyes sending daggers to Jungkook.
Jungkook mouth formed an O shape as he placed the boy down ,not wanting to make his niece even more angry.
Soon after another head popped behind Bora with a winning smirk."I got you! Now you two will be one to find us".
Jungkook smiled seeing Jimin's elder daughter.But his smile dimmed as he saw Bora huff in annoyance.
"That won't do! I didn't do anything, it's him".Bora snapped, pointing her fingers accusingly at the little one."I didn't want to pair with him from the first.He is too little to play anyway!".
Jungkook shook his head when the little one made funny face at her earning a chuckle from others.
"You-".Bora's nose flared in angry as she launched at him.Jungkook sigh before he swiftly picks Bora in his hand.
"Who wants ice cream?".He asks immediately grasping her attentions.She nod her head slowly, smiling beautifully at him.He knew it was him who spoil her the most.
Jungkook let the childrens have some sweets and walk to the hall to see the hall crowded with guests.He spotted Jimin along with yoongi near to the cake,also Namjoon and Jin stood with somi emma sitting on the chair beside them.
Also a lot of taehyung's friends were gathered in the function as Jungkook noted.They stood at the corner, talking and laughing loudly making the party more lively.
Jungkook glanced at his watch, making way through the crowd.His lips tugs up a bit when he realised tae will be here at any moment.
He was eager to wish tae happy birthday since yesterday, yet he couldn't.He had to remind himself about a thousand times they are having a surprise party whenever his mouth moved to wish a 'happy birthday' to younger.
Jungkook walks towards the guest , greetings some of them before joining with his family.He stood beside Namjoon expecting taehyung's arrival soon.
Kai was the one who went to bring tae here as to avoid tae being suspicious. And when Jimin proposed the idea, Jungkook didn't argue either.He convinced himself it is the best, since tae and Kai were always together, it was easy.But Jungkook couldn't deny the fact that it bothered him...
Everyone was looking excited and cheerful expecting taehyung at the hall. Their eyes glued to the door when the door open slowly with a crack.The loud squealing and clappings erupted as they got a glimpse of taehyung's face.
Jungkook was smiling like everyone else but his smiles dims as he saw Kai is carrying tae in his arms.Younger was hugging kai tightly with his arms around Kai's neck.The loud squealing and shouting made tae lightly jerk back startled, making him hide his face into Kai's chest.
Jungkook's lips forms a thin line as he saw taehyung clutching on Kai's shirt tightly.His eyes follows Kai's grip on taehyung's waist and the way tae snuggle more into those neck.
Jungkook run his fingers through his hair as he ripped his eyes away from that nerve wrecking scene infront of him.
The guests were laughing and smiling seeing tae being startled.Younger open his eyes slowly, scanning the room and smile slightly as the situation settled his mind.
Jungkook saw jin giving him a concerned glance, probably because he forget to mask his emotions and let jin see the pain.Jungkook shook his head and smiles reassuringly at jin , trying his best to ignore the prickling unease in his heart.
Kai let tae set his foot on floor ,only to engulf tae in a bear hug.Jungkook tried not be annoyed of their affectionate gesture as he stood along with others,yet he couldn't keep himself composed.He could feel his chest tightening as their hug went long.
Tae pulled back from Kai with a smile .His eyes scanning the people again and stop at Jungkook for a minute longer.
Jungkook couldn't help but to step forward and pull taehyung into another bone crashing hug.His heart feels reassured as younger leans more to him.
He warp his arms around tae, hugging the taehyung tightly.His eyes fluttering close feeling the warmth.He smiled widely pulling the slender figure into his chest, warping his strong arms securely around those petty waist, Inhaling the same sweet strawberry scent that reminded him of home.
"Happy Birthday, taehyungie".Jungkook whisper,his lips grazing over tae's ear lobe slightly.
"Thank you hyung!". Tae murmur back while showing the boxy smile that only reserved for him.
"Okay that's enough!".Jimin shouts, making Jungkook to pull away from tae reluctantly.
Jimin drag tae towards the table infront of the cake.Taehyung laugh as kai put a birthday hat on his head.He blown out candle and cut the cake as the people chanted the birthday song together.
Tae extended the first slice of cake to Jungkook with a warm smile.Jungkook shook his head and forced taehyung to have the first bite of it and let the younger feed him the next.
Tae gave the next slice to Kai ,then to jin ,and was going to offer Namjoon another, when Jimin snatched it from tae's hand to his mouth.
"I am here too".Jimin glared at tae, his voice smudged with mouth full of cake.
And it made everyone laugh and the rest is history.....

Taehyung was talking to his friends, sharing their memories and experiences in music field.His friends are mainly from the entertainment industry itself and he is happy to see them all together.
"What are you looking at?".Tae nudge Jhope on shoulder.
"Hmm?".Jhope hummed, attention still divided until tae snapped his fingers under his nose. "What?"
"What were you looking at?".Tae asked again, rolling his eyes.
Jhope become famous dancer together with him under Kai's company over these years.Jhope was the sole reason tae had auditioned to be an idol at that time. And now they are best friends.
"Nothing" Which, Jhope was sure tae knew, meant Bogum.
Taehyung sighed as his eyes follows Jhope's vision,only to met with Bogum who was chatting with someone else.The one thing that never changed over this years was hoby's obsession with Bogumie.
Taehyung always hoped Hoseok grew some guts and ask the boy out like in the past.
Tae is somewhat sure that something did happened in between hobi and Bogum at school.Bogum has been avoiding Hoseok at the end of their graduation and the tension was intense back then.
Also if tae's guess is right, it might be the sole reason Hoseok couldn't go anywhere near Bogum without being a worrying prick.Whatever it is, tae let them to deal with their own.
Taehyung glanced over at him as he laughed at a joke, and stopped to smile at Jungkook when he caught hyung watching.
The smile was small and felt private somehow, despite them being completely surrounded by their peers and family in the well-lit room; it felt like the smile was meant for his eyes only. His ear colours red as they both stared at each other before Jungkook is forced to look at Sofia.
"Jungkook,let me introduce, this is Liam".She smile turning around to new face."Liam, this is Jungkook".
"Nice to meet you ,Mr.jeon".Liam extended his hands to shake that Jungkook took warmly.
"You are-". Jungkook furrow his brow. "-Sofia's PA, aren't you?".
"Ah-".Liam's voice was cut of by Sofia herself."He is here as my official date Jungkook.We are dating!".She says, her cheeks coating red in a peculiar way that Jungkook couldn't believe.
Jungkook congratulate them genuinely and engulfed Sofia in a friendly hug.He was glad to know Sofia is in love as same as him.
Jungkook couldn't help but to snatch one or two glance at taehyung at that night.His heart skipping beats whenever their eyes met......................
