Narrator
Like an old routine, Y/n was running late to the BigHit festival.
"I'm here! I'm here!" Y/n screamed over the phone to Yoongi.
Y/n ran out of their truck and into the festival, fighting through crowds of people to try to get to where a Yoongi was.
- Y/N POV -
When I finally reached my brother, I was greeted by Yeji and Karina as well. I didn't know what they were doing here but I had bigger things to pay attention to.
Part of me was so excited to see Haerin perform for the first time...
Well, as far as my new brain knew.
But on the other hand... I was really nervous.
I didn't know if Haerin was going to be okay with the loud crowds or the makeup or the outfit she had to wear.
"Relax, she's a pro. She's learned to handle all of this," Karina suddenly stroked my arm to comfort me.
"Don't touch me. I'm still mad at you," I coldly responded... not letting her know that her words had actually eased me a bit.
"Frog will be fine. This isn't her first time. She's had bigger crowds and she knows what to do when she feels overwhelmed," Yoongi tried to comfort me too.
"Okay, if you say so," I answered trying to relax.
Suddenly the crowd started going crazy that I even had to cover my own ears from the brutal ringing it caused me.
"Are you okay?!" Karina asked through the screaming.
"YEAH, YEAH!" I yelled pushing her away a bit.
I felt super overstimulated.
I just wanted to run out of there.
The girls soon came out and the screaming got even louder.
Dani-ssi and Hanni-ssi started then it was followed by Minji-ssi and Hyein-ssi.
"These girls are my friends?!?" I yelled over the crowd to Yoongi.
"YEAH!!" He yelled back.
My jaw completely dropped when Haerin came out.
"IS THAT HAERIN?!" I asked my brother.
"YEAH!" He yelled back.
I couldn't fucking close my mouth from how stunned I was.
"Holy shit, she's amazing!" I thought to myself.
I honestly could not believe that it was Haerin on stage but at the same time I was so fucking proud.
"Solo stage? For Haerin? Damnyumm!" I kept on thinking to myself.
The intro ended and the girls transitioned to a different song.
I swear the crowd just kept getting louder as the girl performed.
"No, I can never let him go

I know, I know!"
Brother suddenly leaned into whisper to me as I enjoyed the show.
"This song is about you!" He whispered yelled in my ear.
I looked at him confused but shrugged it off.
It didn't seem like me at all. I was even late to the fucking festival.
"My heart is glowing, it's glowing
My heart is glowing up so I can't sleep at night!!!!" I yelled towards the end of the song.
Karina, Yeji, and Yoongi turned to stare at me.
"What?! You didn't think I'd come here unprepared, DID YOU?!" I yelled over the screams.
Karina and brother just chuckled while Yeji just rolled her eyes.
The whole entire show, I was just mesmerized.
This wasn't the Haerin I had gotten to know over the last year.
- Haerin POV -
After the show, Oppa and Y/n unnie ran backstage to greet us.
"Oh my god, you were amazing!!" Y/n-ssi ran up to hug me and spin me around.
It was really surprising.
Y/n-ssi seemed so happy.
"I have no idea who was on stage but if you're the same person. GOD DAMN YOURE HOT!!" Y/n exclaimed.
"Yah, we're in public!" Minji unnie started to scold.
I actually felt really shy about the comment.
Y/n-ssi struggled to even call me pretty before but now....
Ummm....
It was just really cute.
"You're so fine, Gotta- Gotta get to know you!" Y/n-ssi cutely sang our song and winked at me.
"Oh my god! You're so corny now!" Hanni unnie started to whine.
Everyone seemed to not really like the way that Y/n-ssi had turned out after the surgery...
But I loved it.
It wasn't much of a change that I saw.
Y/n-ssi was just a bit more playful in public and with everyone...
Which I really liked.
It made forget about all the rainy days and the store incident and the break up and my aunt... just everything.
Y/n-ssi always made everything so fun and bearable for me.
"Girls, it's time for the fan meet!" Our manager told us.
"Come join us!" I told Oppa and Jagi.
Managernim didn't mind Y/n-ssi and brother being around us. Specially now that Y/n had lost their memories.
Oppa and Y/n managed to get a front row seatz to our fan meet but when it came to the stage to face portion, they chose to go last.
"Hi, I'm here to get my girlfriends phone number!" Y/n-ssi teased towards the end of the event.
Surprisingly, that wasn't the craziest thing I had heard that night.
At least I was actually dating Y/n, so it didn't sound too creepy.
I waved a plushie I had gotten from a fan in Y/n's face to tease them and Y/n suddenly snatched it from my hands.
"Yoongi, look at this...," Y/n turned to asked Oppa.
Oppa looked at the plushie and quickly put his hand over the eyes of the plushie.
Me and girls looked at each other confused.
Y/n walked over to the manager and whispered something before a guard walked up to take the plushie away.
When Y/n sat back down I was really confused.
"What was that?" I asked.
"There's was a spy cam on that plushie," Y/n-ssi coldly answered.
"Baby, look at me...," I whispered trying to stay professional.
Y/n hadn't forgotten their nature of saying things that made them uncomfortable in a cold way.
A coping mechanism I had learned from them.
The doctor always told me that saying things out loud even if it came out cold was a good thing.
Communication... even if it hurt others... was good.
At least in my case.
"Sorry, it's just... that plushie was tampered with," Y/n answered me.
"I wish I could punch them in the face," Y/n-ssi whispered after.
I couldn't help but to giggle.
Y/n's solution to things was still to punch things....
Or people....
At least when it came to me.
