MARCELLOS POV
I woke up on the couch. I guess I fell asleep on the couch with Aria and Elio.
Wait where is Aria?
My mind began to race. I grabbed my phone to check the time and text me brothers but they had already texted me.

Sandro: guys I went to wake up Lorenzo and this is what I came in to...
Elio: AWWWWWW😍😍😍
Leo: Don't wake them up! We were up pretty late with them
Me: he stole her from me 😤
Sandro: actually after you texted me, we came up and you guys were asleep so Leo and I went to get food and she woke up. So Lorenzo brought her to the kitchen so she could eat.
Me: Oh..well at least she ate
Elio: awww is someone grumpy cuz his sister likes to sleep with her other brothers and not just him🥺
Me: shut it faccia di cazzo (fuck face)
Elio: jeez someone woke up on the wrong side of bed
I threw my phone on to the couch and got up to make some breakfast and hopefully get to the gym. I haven't gone since she got back.
I still need to bring up to my brothers about the gun I found in Aris room.
Why did she have a gun
LORENZOS POV
I woke up to the vibration of my phone
Aurelio: awww is someone grumpy cuz his sister like to sleep with her other brothers and not just him🥺
Marcello: shut it faccia di cazzo (fuck face)
Aurelio: jeez someone woke up on the wrong side of bed
Me: IF ARI WASNT ON MY CHEST I WOULD BE TORTURING ALL OF YOU
Oh my god that picture, I hate my brothers for coming in here but I'm so thankful for them taking that picture.
I looked down to see her beautiful face. I held her tighter as I put my phone back onto the night stand. I closed my eyes never wanting this moment to end. At least in my arms I know that's she's safe.
She began to move around and then tried to get up. I groaned and pull her back down
"10 more minutes princess"
She laughed and lied back down "fine but only 10 minutes
"God I could listen to your laugh all day"
She laughed again "well I guess you guys will have to up your humor"
"Oh it's on" I smirked as I got out of bed "Cmon let go get some breakfast I think Marcello is cooking so this otta be funny"
She just smiled and followed me out of the room
ARIAS POV
I don't know that last time I slept that good or that long. I remember having a nightmare but Enzo calmed me down and held me which helped a ton. I've never had someone to help me through those.
If this is a dream I hope I never wake up
I don't understand my brothers obsession with my laugh. But Enzo apparently is going to try and get me to laugh more.
Right now Im following through this giant mansion to the dining room for breakfast.
Enzo and I walk in to see Mar covered in pancake batter. I bust out laughing as I see him and they all turned to look at me in awe.
"You guys are obsessed" I mocked
"Of course la mia piccola Stella" Sandro said smirking
"You're our obsession" Mar added as he whipped pancake batter off his face.
I rolled my eyes at all of them and went over to Elio as he was sitting on his phone.
"Hey Elio whatcha doin"
He eyes brightened "I'm playing this new game. You wanna see? You have to throw these birds to hit the pigs and make them blow up."
I laughed as he rambled on about his game "can I watch you play?"
"Of course" his smile widened and we sat there laughing and playing his game till breakfast was ready.
"Kid's breakfast" Lorenzo said but he wasn't letting us know he was ordering us.
Elio and I sat in our regular places to the right of Enzo and began to eat.
"So is it good?" Mar asked smiling wide
I smiled with my mouth full of pancake
"Surprisingly it's actually really good" Sandro joked
I giggled slightly
"Hey I can cook...sometimes" Mar said as he shot Sandro a glare
Leo and Enzo were already done. They were just watching all of us eat. I noticed Enzo writing something down but ignored it.
We sat in comfortable silence as the rest of us finished our breakfast. Mar broke the silence.
"Hey Ari do you still have that teddy bear I got you when you were 3?"
I smiled at the thought of my bear "of course I still have Ello!"
"Oh my god you still call it Ello?" Mar laughed at me and I looked at him confused. I never knew why I called my bear that but I loved it.
Mar caught onto my confusing and spoke " when you were little you couldn't say my name so you called me Ello" he said smiling
A look of realization laced my face " oh my god that makes so much sense!!!" I said laughing a little
Lorenzo began writing something down again. I ignored once more.
Once again silence over came the room. I decided to speak this time. "So what's the plan today?"
Enzo spoke with a little disappointment in his voice "Sandro and I have to work today so you'll be with Leo and Marcello"
I nodded and smiled. I was excited to spend time with my brothers.
"Wait what about me" Elio looked to Enzo with a sad face
"You ragazzino have to go to school" (little boy) Enzo scolded
Elio growled as he rolled his eyes
"You've missed the last two days you need to go." Enzo added
"Fine I guess" Elio rolled his eyes once more as he got up to get ready for school.
I wonder when they'll have me go to school. If they even make me go.
It's as if Enzo read my mind "you'll start in two weeks going to the same school as Aurelio okay?"
I smiled and nodded then Sandro and Enzo got up to head to Enzo's office
"Wait!" I called out they both turned to face me
I ran over to them and gave both of them a hug, then walked back to the dining room table and called out again " buona giornata al lavoro" ( have a good day at work)
It's nice to speak Italian with them now that they know
They both smiled back at me a disappeared into the hallway.
I sat there in silence starting down at my hands while Leo and Mar were sitting on their phones.
Mar broke the silence with the scooting of the chair moving "I'm going to head to the gym do either of you want to come?"
I smiled and nodded
I used to workout at my old house as much as I could in hopes the muscle would help the beatings be less painful.
Mar smiled then Leo chimed in "nah you guys go ahead I'll be in my room, come get me when you get done and we can go to the mall"
My eyes lit up as I head him mention a mall.
Leo got up and left the table leaving just Mar and I.
"Go get changed sorellina"
I nodded and we both went to our rooms.
Now that they've seen my bruises and my scars I'm not as worried about them seeing, especially Mar. Hes been so careful around me and so sweet. I know he won't judge me.
I hope.
I get out of Mars hoodie and change into some grey joggers and a blue sports bra.

Then I quickly ran to Leo's room opening the door barely. "C-can I borrow a tshirt to wear to the gym. I only have hoodies?" I asked a little embarrassed.
"Of course bella come in while I find one"
I walked in, nervous how he would react to seeing me in my sports bra.
His eyes grew wide as he saw my bruising. The yellow/ purple bruises laced my entire torso. He quickly shook his head "Ari please let me look at those before you go to the gym"
I gave him a reassuring smile "I promise I'm okay. Can you look at them after?"
He nodded then continued to find me a tshirt. He threw me a white tshirt with some statue on it
The material of this shirt felt like it costed more than everything I own combined. I quickly thanked him and ran back to my room to put on my converse.
"You ready sorellina" I turned around to see Mar standing in my doorway. I nodded and followed him to the gym.
They own their own gym?!
How rich are they?
"Have you been to a gym before?" Mar asked
I nodded "It was the only place I used to go beside being home" he smiled sweetly at me and nodded.
He then turned on some music and began to work out. Song: Alpha by Layto
I started on the treadmill to get warmed up then moved on to the squat rack and loaded on 2 45s to each side (bar+2 45s= 225 lbs)
I started my first set of ten and stopped half way through to take Leo's t-shirt off. I continued my set, my eyes focused on the floor as I lift. I finished my set and set the bar on the rack. I looked up to see Mar staring at me in shock.
"How the hell are you so tiny but so fucking strong??" He asked me his eyes still wide
I laughed nervously and rubbed the back of my neck "practice?"
He laughed "how high can you go?"
I turned around to load more weight onto the bar. "Highest I've gotten is 315" I added another 45 to each side. Now going to lift 315.
"Well let's see it" he smirked and I rolled my eyes as I got ready to lift. Before I started I heard Mar "need a spot" he said laughing to himself
"Ha ha ha very funny. No I got it" I said smiling
I lifted and successfully lifted 315, counting my set out loud
"1.....2......3.....4.....5" I was cut off by Enzo, Leo and Sandro coming in to the gym.
Enzo clapping loudly as he watched me.
Sandro and Leo wide eyed.
I finished my set and put the rack back.
"Why did you guys come here?" I asked confused
Sandro spoke still wide eyed "Marcello sent us a video of you lifting and we had to come see for ourselves. You're fucking incredible "
I laughed rubbing the back of my neck "t-thanks. I spent a lot of the time at the gym back at my old house"
I noticed Enzo writing in his little notebook again but still ignored it.
"Okay Sandro let's leave them be and go back to work" Enzo said as he shot me a sweet smile.
Enzo and Sandro left the gym and Leo followed.
I blocked out Mar again and continued my sets.
This being the 2nd set of 315 out of 5 sets.
Mar continued to stare in amazement but I think he was partially staring at the bruising.
I breathed in sharply as a pain in my ribs shot through my whole body. I hid the pain with a grunt to make it seem like it was the weight.
About 20 minutes later Mar and I were done and headed back inside. I put Leo's t-shirt back on, hoping to avoid the stairs my brothers were giving me.
I ran up to my room to get into the shower.
Once we got back from the gym, Ari went to shower and I went straight to Leo's room to grab him. I took him down to Enzo's office and sat him down.
"I need to talk to you guys"
They all looked at me confused
"It's about Aria"
That's all I had to say for their faces to turn to panic.
"Her first night here when I slept in her room with her. I felt a gun in her waist band. I took it of course but I just wanted to guys to know"
Enzo was the first to speak "why did you take i-"
I cut him off " because Lorenzo I had just found my sister on the bathroom floor with cuts along her wrists. I didn't want her to t-take it too far"
Enzo nodded. We sat in uncomfortable silence for a moment.
Leo broke the silence " I think she has a few broken ribs"
Our attention all turned to Leo
"Earlier she came in to get a t-shirt from me and she was just in her sports bra and the bruising around her ribs is bad. Really bad"
Sandro glared at Leo "why would you let her go to the gym after"
"She didn't want me to touch her. She said she was okay and I could check out her bruises after" Leo defended.
"Leonardo and Marcello out. I need to think" Lorenzo ordered.
As Leo and I walked back to our room I stopped him " can we take her to the mall and let her have a good day before we make her get half naked for you to examine her bruises"
Leo stood hesitating for a moment "yes just keep and eye on her don't let her move too much while we are at the mall"
I nodded and went to see if Ari was ready to go to the mall.
