You were just about done getting ready to go somewhere when you received a call from Roxy.
"Hello?" you answered.
Roxy: "Hi, Y/N!"
"Why are you calling me?"
Roxy: "I just wanted to see how you were doing."
"Um, can this wait a bit?" you answered. "I have a hot date that is currently waiting for me."
Roxy: "This is a rather important situation."
"I guess my date can wait. How important is it?"
Roxy: "Bloom said I should ask you to take her bunny to..."
She briefly paused, not wanting to startle anyone in the room.
"The vet???" you asked, concerned.
Roxy: "Yeah."
"Roxy, do you know it takes four weeks to make an appointment for the vet?"
Roxy: "Yes, but it is imperative that this get done now."
"But Roxy...."
Roxy: "I do agree. Your date is important."
"Yes! She's waiting for me at our spot."
Roxy: "But your friend's pet needs medical help."
You looked at your calendar and sighed.
"Okay, Roxy," you said, defeated. "I'll take the rabbit to the vet."
Roxy attempted to speak before looking at the time.
Roxy: "I got something to take care of in class. We'll talk about this later."
After she hung up, you looked at the bunny and sighed.
"Stay while I'm gone," you told the bunny as you closed the door behind yourself.
Several hours of classes later, you were returning to your dorm with a basket of carrots in your hand.
"The little guy must be hungry," you said to yourself. "I've been gone for hours."
As you reached your dorm, you saw Bloom near the door.
"Bloom?" you asked. "What are you doing outside my room?"
Bloom: "I just wanted to check on my rabbit."
"He's fine", you said as you opened the door.
After opening it, you and Bloom reacted in shock to see the bunny on the bed. Once you realized that the bunny was hungry, Bloom quickly fed him some carrots while you answered a call from Roxy that you received while in class.
"Hello?"
Roxy: "Y/N?"
"Sorry for not responding, Roxy. I was busy with classes, and I couldn't step outside for even a second because I needed to get all my work done so I wouldn't fail."
Roxy: "I just wanted to ask if there was any trouble finding an appointment."
"Yes. I could NOT for the life of me find a proper appointment."
Roxy: "That's the thing. I wanted to tell you that I can be the vet."
"You CAN?"
Roxy: "Yes, I would be glad to help."
You facepalmed.
"Would've ben good to know about this earlier..."
Roxy: "You missed your date?"
"Yeah, I explained to her the situation, and she just left without saying anything."
Roxy: "Tell you what: I'll take you on a date if my treatment of him goes well."
"Really?"
Roxy: "Yes."
