Thinking back I guess I should've seen it coming. All the times I saw a dark figure lurking in the shadows or felt eyes lingering on the back of my head. I wish I hadn't just shrugged it off. I should've known he was there watching, waiting. But then again, I don't think it would've made a difference. Now after so long, I know his twisted, sadistic ways, and I know there's no way he would've let me go. He thinks I'm her. He thinks I know him, that I know his heart and his soul. But in reality, the only thing I know is that there's nothing he wouldn't do to hurt me.
This is a story about a delusional and misogynistic man, hunted by his troubled past. And a young and carefree girl, who accidentally crosses his path, without knowing she was walking right into his illusion.
