Monday came around and due to the current issue with Ms. Lee and Haerin's High School being closed down... Mr. Choi didn't even think twice about letting Haerin back into his school.
- Y/N POV -
"Why is everyone staring at us?" Haerin asked as we walked into the school.
"I'm not sure," I answered her.
In reality, I was terrified that everyone had found out about Haerin's aunt.
Haerin had it hard enough. I didn't want people judging her because of her family members.
Suddenly, Hanni-ssi and Danielle-ssi ran up to us. "Oh my god, congratulations!" They exclaimed.
I was so confused.
"What are you talki-"
I was about to ask what they were talking about until Minji-ssi and Yeji-ssi stepped in front of us.
"Congratulations, you'll be joining us in the Early Acess program," The President spoke up.
"Excuse me?" I furrowed my brows.
"You got accepted to join us at an early semester program for Yonsei University. Only 3 students in all of South Korea are accepted every year. Each student receives a full scholarship along with a personal mentor for the duration of your studies," Minji-ssi informed me.
"Okay.... but I... I don't understand how I got in. I don't even know what that is... do they just pick kids at random?" I asked.
"Nope, they only pick top applicants and lucky for us... all of the students this year are from our school!" Yeji interjected.
"But, I never applied!" I replied in confusion.
"Nope, I applied for you. If anyone deserves the chance.... It's you!" Minji responded.
"Now you can get started on changing the world sooner than you expected," She added.
I couldn't help but feel humbled and blessed.
"You didn't have to do that, but thank you so much," I genuinely responded.
Before I knew it, I found myself at the Yonsei campus as a university student.
"You excited for your first day?!" The Chairman of the university asked.
"Yes!!" Me, Minji, and Yeji replied in unison.
In reality, I was more worried than excited. I didn't want Haerin to be left all alone.
"What if she needs me? Who's gonna walk her to school? Or take care of her when it rains at school? What if there's an emergency? Who's gonna be there for her?" I kept on thinking to myself.
My first day as a university student felt so slow and nerve wreking. That's why when school ended, I didn't say bye to Minji and Yeji, I just ran home.
I sighed of relief when I got home until I saw a note in the kitchen counter.
"Frog stubbed her toe on the dining table and accidentally broke her toe. We'll be back from the hospital soon.

I took a deep breath then turned over to the dining table. You could see one of its legs had a new chip.
"So, you're the one who broke my girlfriend?" I began to speak to the table like a weirdo.
"What should we do with you then? Should I throw you away? Huh? Or should we give you a second chance?" I kept on talking to the table.
I sighed and whispered, "Second chance it is," before putting my shoes back on to go to the store.
- Haerin POV -
When Yoongi oppa and I got home, I was really happy to see that Y/n-ssi was finally back from school.
"Y/n-ssi!!" I squealed once I caught sight of Y/n kneeling on the floor for something.
"Ahh, Frog! You're back!" Y/n-ya exclaimed before getting up to greet me with a kiss.
I had missed Y/n's lips all day. Even just looking at them brought me comfort, but Y/n was a college student now.... so even if I wanted to just look at Y/n's lips... I couldn't.
"Wow, they gave you a boot and everything? Does it still hurt?" Y/n-ssi asked as they got down to inspect my foot.
"It doesn't hurt much anymore. It's just hard to walk with this heavy boot thing," I answered a bit shyly.
"Then we'll get you a wheelchair!" Y/n cutely responded before pecking my lips again.
I couldn't help but giggle and get all shy because of Y/n's attention. I had been craving it all day, but now I finally had it.
"What were you doing on the floor just now?" I asked a bit curious.
"Oh, I'm installing edge protectors. That way, table-ssi won't break you again, and if it does... I already told it... I'm kicking table-ssi out!" Y/n-ssi funnily exclaimed.
I thought it was a bit odd that Y/n was talking to a table, but it was kind of funny.
"You're silly!" I tried to tease.
"I am, but it's okay because you love me!" Y/n teased back with a kiss to my nose.
I giggled, but then we both got startled for a second. Yoongi oppa abruptly opened the front door, carrying all the groceries we had bought on the way back from the hospital.
Y/n-ssi helped Oppa with the groceries for a second then went back to what they were doing.
"What the hell are you doing?" Yoongi oppa suddenly asked Y/n-ah.
"Risk management," Y/n simply replied as they continued to install cute rounded edges on the dining table.
"I'm really luckily," I thought to myself.
