"WHAT WERE YOU THINKING?!"
I couldnt do anything but listen to my grandma yelling at me for 13 minutes and 23 seconds straight. She didn't hit me once, but her tone always managed to send shivers down my spine.
"Cut his stomach, and steal his gun?! You could've gotten killed! And you were clearly close to death." She said eyeing me up and down.
I sighed "You're right, and I'm sorry.. But.. He killed my Ilu in front of me.." I said with a shaky voice.
She took a deep breath in, and exhaled, before sitting next to me and hugging me.
"You bring the worst of me out sometimes kid." She said and I started crying as I laid my head on her chest.
"She.. She was like family to me.. I spent more than half my life with her, and she got killed because of me.." I said
"It's not your fault there's evil in this world."
I let go of her, and wiped my tears "It's my fault.. Curiosity got the best of me."
She looked at me confused.
"I had a dream dad killed mom, and went to the spirit tree." As I said that grams eyes widened, and her breathing got heavier, as if she started to get flashbacks.. "Grandma?"
"Water.." She said, and I quickly ran over to the kitchen pouring water in a cup and handing it to her.
She drank it all in a few second, holding her chest. I've never seen her in this state.
"Whats wrong? Tell me!" I said and she looked at me before sighing.
"What.. What you saw in your dream was true." She said.
I furrowed my brows, feeling my organs turn upside down.
"It is..? But.. Why?!" I said
"They fought all the time. He couldnt take it anymore, so he sliced her throat open in front of me, and then killed himself out of guilt." She said blankly.
"And you knew it..?"
"I wouldve told you, but I was in a coma."
"You couldve told me once you woke up!"
"I didn't wann atalk about it! Thats the whole reason why I fell in a coma in the first place.."
I kept quiet at this.
"Hey, grams.. That was in the past.. My father is a.. I cant even reffer to him as my father anymore.. Let's just focus on the things happening right now, like my hair is really messed up." I said with a fake smile.
"Thank you.. Let's fix it, hm?" She said with a visibaly fake smile too.
I nodded my head, before sitting down in front of her, so that my back can face her.
My smile dropped the moment she couldnt see my face. I was sad, angry and dissapointed. ALl my life, I thought of my mom as the bad guy.
I cant face that wretched man after this. Never again.
She ended up brushing my hair out, and braiding 3 small braids into it putting golden beads over them.
She took care of my cut and my bruises, and I got out of my clothes, putting on a waist scarf and a cute top.
Grandma always managed to keep me in style. I never really thought those things mattered, but I enjoyed her styling me. I always felt more beautiful in her choice of clothes.
I got out of my pod to take a walk outside, getting worried looks from villagers now and then. I could feel some of the guys eyes on me too.
"Y/N" I heard Aonung behind me.
Just what I needed.
I turned to look at him, and he was blushing at me, before hugging me gently. "Thank Eywa you're okay.. Does your arm hurt."
"Yeah it stings a little, but its not deep."
He nodded his head "You look.. Amazing. Anyway, my parents would like to talk to us about our arangement."

I completly forgot about that. I dont know how to tell them the news about Neteyam..
"Now?"
"Yup."
"Oh, alright."
We started walking torwards his home. The entire walk there was silent, but in my head there were a milion thoughts going on.
How do I tell them about Neteyam?
Why did my dad do that?
Is my scarf too short
Where is Neteyam right now?
What if I meet with the sky people again?
"So, the sky people.."
Aonung knocked me out of my thoughts "Huh? Oh, yea."
"Are they scary?"
"No, they look weird. Their weapons are loud as shit."
"You got shot at?!" He said with an amazed look.
"Mhm."
"And you survived? Woah, cool.." He said.
"I know." I said confidenaly. At least one of us survived.
We finally made it to the pod. His parents allowed us in, and made us tea before we all sat down. I was sitting besides Aonung, and opposite of us were his parents. We first talked about my encounter with Miles, before they got on the theme.
"So.. We assume you already know why you're here." His dad said, and I nodded my head.
"Me and Tonowari were discussing it today, and considering Im giving birth this month, and the things that started to happen on our island, the best thing to do is to have you children mated as soon as possible." Ronal said.
I gulped "Yeah, I know that.."
"I'll get to the point. We think you and Aonung should mate today." I dropped my cup as Tonowari said that. I knew this day was bound to come, but I didnt come prepared.
"Now, Y/N, we understand youre nervous but-" Ronal said before I cut her off as I stood up.
"I cant do it!" I said quickly looking at her straight in the eyes.
"What do you mean?" Aonung said.
"I.." Here goes nothing.
"I'm already mated to the eldest son of Jake Sully."
They kept quiet at this, until I looked over at his parents.
"I.. When did that happen?" Tonowari asked.
"Yesterday."
Ronal stood up furious "You go against my word? How could you..? After everything we've done for you since your parents death.."
"I understand your anger, but.. Im grown enough to make my decisions. " I said, shivering a bit.
"If you're so grown up, then go with him. You lured the sky people to us anyway, leaving would be of great use." Ronal said walking torwards the exit.
Tonowari tried stopping her "Ma Ronal, cmon dont.."
"No!" Before she left she glared at me "Your mother must be dissapointed in you right now."
Those last words cut deep. They left their home, and I sighed.
"You.. You mated with that sxwang?"
I heard Aonung next to me, quickly turning around to look at him. He was angry.
"You went against my will and aranged our marrige without asking me first. What's done is done, I love Neteyam." I said and he scoffed before standing up and startin gto walk out of the bod, whispering something to himself.
As he was leaving, I heard him mutter something as he passed by me.
It sounded like..
"I'll murder him.."
