Dooble-dee-do

I'd like for you all to know

That I love you

~~~
With renewed confidence and determination, Lisa found herself marching in the direction of Belvoire with a plan in mind. While she did not expect her meeting with Wendy to go as well as it did, she was grateful that it happened because she now had a full understanding of Jennie's past. Lisa wanted to help Jennie through her past trauma, but she would only be able to do that if she knew the full story. She knows that it is up to Jennie to tell her when she is ready but from she has learnt through her time with being with Jennie, is that Jennie tends to close up and bundle her emotions to herself.
Jennie hated being vulnerable to others, that much Lisa has learnt about the brunette. From all the problems she has faced with Jennie, she knows that the only way that she could get through to her is with brute force. Yes, she has suffered because of it, but in the end it has only helped their relationship and each other. Lisa understands that Jennie will be angry by the fact that she went to see Wendy behind her back, especially since the other blonde was treated as one massive secret by everyone who knows of her existence, but she is certain that she will eventually understand that it was necessary for the two of them to meet.
Afterall, Lisa is the one that Jennie is dating now, she was entitled to know about the trauma caused by her previous ex in order to not make the same mistakes she did. Hurting Jennie is the last thing that Lisa wants to do, so if she has to take a few barbed words from her girlfriend once she confesses the truth, then so bet it. It will only be for the greater good.
When Lisa has walked about two blocks away from Wendy's restaurant, she immediately pulled out her phone to call Jennie, wanting to talk to her as soon as possible. But as usual, her phone call went unanswered. Lisa tried a few more times, hoping that Jennie would finally become either too annoyed or guilty at the constant calls, but again, they went answered. Lisa couldn't help but sigh at her girlfriends antics before sending her a few text messages as she continued her way back to Belvoire to try meet with her.
Hey, I really need to talk with you. Are you at Belvoire?
Nini, I really need to talk to you.
I get you are upset and everything, but please can we meet up?
I'm going to head to our coffee spot. If you don't show up within 20 minutes, I'm heading to your dorms.
Jennie, I really need to talk with you. I have some important stuff to say.
Please answer me.
Lisa hoped that Jennie would answer back, especially since she was emphasizing on the importance of the two of them meeting. She has tried calling and messaging Jennie multiple times since the who argument in her dorm, but they have all gone unanswered. Jennie was still so angry to the extent that she wasn't even willing to interact with her outside of the class. It has been quite some time since Belvoire has witnessed a standoff between the two women, not that it really mattered since it was all for show anyway.
It hurt Lisa, it obviously did, and it was going to be something she was going to bring to attention when she spoke with Jennie, but she was not going to linger on that now. She needed to be the adult between the two of them. Jennie needed to pull herself out of this cycle of hate and torment that she was currently cocooning herself in. It wasn't healthy and if Lisa had to physically pull her out of it kicking and screaming, then so be it.
They needed to talk and they were going to have a talk, whether Jennie was ready or not.
While her messages remained unanswered, Lisa did not allow herself to linger on her disappointment as she continued her way to Belvoire, mentally preparing herself for the confrontation that she will be having with her girlfriend. When the university building came into sight, Lisa took a deep, readying sigh to steady herself before she continued on her journey to the forested area near the rich dorms that she has memorized due to her constant trips to it in the mornings before classes.
There were a few students walking about, some of which recognized Lisa, but they did not pay her much mind. Everyone was content keeping to themselves and not causing trouble, which was rather rare, but Lisa decided to take advantage of it as she did not want to allow any more time to pass between her and her potential meeting with her girlfriend. Lisa made her way into the forested area without much notice from others and eventually came to the meeting spot, only to find that she was the only one there. Lisa took another steadying breath before pulling out her phone and sending Jennie another text message.
I am at our spot. I'm giving you 20 minutes. See you soon.
Lisa then took a seat and took a deep breath to steady herself again, clearing her throat as she went over what she was going to say to Jennie in her head. Lisa hates confrontation, probably more than Jennie, because she always wanted to keep the peace in all situations, but unfortunately, this was one that she could not avoid any longer.
Wendy has really opened her eyes to a lot of things through the meeting, and Lisa has to realize that cannot let Jennie to continue going the way that she was going. It was not fair to either her or Jennie. She understands that Jennie has trauma, but everyone has some sort of trauma which has affected their adult lives. Lisa's childhood wasn't easy, especially since her parents went through a messy divorce when she was little. While her mom did remarry and gave Lisa a wonderful stepfather to look up to, the divorce did affect her. Lisa did go through a period of rebellion when she was younger, but she did finally manage to overcome it and realize that there is more to family than just blood.
Lisa was young and stupid at a time, but she grew from it. While Jennie was much older than Lisa when she was hurt by the people that did not approve of her relationship with Wendy, that doesn't undermine the pain that was caused to her. While Jennie is definitely one of the most stubborn people that Lisa has ever met in this world...she too can grow from the pain that she experienced. There is no age limit on pain or growth, and if Lisa can help her make the first step in healing...then she will be cared for the rest of her life.
Jennie deserves peace. And Lisa will work hard to get her that.
Lisa anxiously waited for Jennie to appear, constantly looking in the direction that she usually came from, hoping to catch her beautiful figure.
But nothing.
Twenty minutes had passed ten minutes ago and she was still not in sight. Lisa pulled out her phone and checked to see if the brunette had at least acknowledged her messages, but immediately noticed that her girlfriend's side of the chat was completely blank. Frustration immediately bubbled up within Lisa but the blonde quickly calmed herself, closing her eyes for a few seconds to steady herself before she tapped a message to Jennie before standing up from her seat.
You're not here. I'm coming to the dorms.
Go big or go home then. Lisa was not going to tolerate Jennie continuing to ignore her like this. The two of them needed to talk, even if Jennie didn't want to. She has had more than enough time to gather her thoughts, now she better have them ready to present when Lisa finds her.
Lisa grabbed her camera bag and hung it over her chest before heading towards the rich student dorms, a little bit of anxious nerves developing within her because it was not often that Lisa went to the rich student dorms. She has been a few times at Jennie's dorm, but the brunette much preferred spending time at Lisa's dorm, probably because it was easier for her to sneak in. The rich student dorms were definitely a lot more beefed up with security than the poor student dorms, most likely because the rich students could be considered more 'valuable' than the average students since they were the children of some big-shot parents. After all, the enemy of someone would not be above using a child to get to their enemy; therefore, in a way, the rich students required more protection than a normal student like Lisa.
The luxurious building of the rich student dorm was still very daunting to Lisa despite it not really being a new sight. But still, Lisa couldn't help but gulp at the obvious sign of wealth that houses more than a hundred rich Belvoire students. She noticed the day security guards of the dorm were standing at ready at the entrance, clearly going to make it harder for Lisa to sneak in to go towards Jennie's dorm.
...
..
.
But then again, sneaking into the dorms was not really an option at this time of day. Whenever Lisa did sneak into the dorm, it was usually in the dead of night with the help of the back entrance of the dorm, as well as a certain cousin for Jennie, who was always smug with eyes of mirth as she helped guide the blonde into the building and its corridors without detection. It would be almost impossible for Lisa to sneak in during the daytime, especially since the rich students would be awake and probably wandering about through the dorm.
If they caught sight of Jennie in their building...
Yeah, not going to happen.
Lisa groaned to herself as she realized having her talk with Jennie was not going to be as easy as she thought. She glared at the dorm building as if it has personally wronged her, but was quickly snapped away from the sound of a car engine. Lisa snapped her head in the direction of the car engine and immediately realized that it belonged to one of the fancy cars that most of the rich students owned in Belvoire pulling up to the personal parking lot that was attached to the dorm building. Lisa quickly pressed herself under the shadow coverage of the trees near the dorm building to hide herself, her preservation instincts kicking in because this was the last place she wanted to be caught by some rich students, especially if they knew her.
The owner of the car parked it in one of the parking lots before stepping out of it, closing the door immediately and heading towards the dorm building with half a dozen shopping bags in her hands, obviously with luxury brands printed on the bags. While the sight of the bags made Lisa scowl at the unintentional display of wealth, a thought dawned upon her which seem to solve the current predicament that she was having in regard to her meeting with Jennie.
Jennie hated walking. Her walking across campus was about the only walking that she was willing to do, at times it becoming involuntary, especially in the mornings as Jennie could not be regarded a morning person. Whenever the two of them decided to have a date with one another outside of Belvoire, walking was out of the question. With the heels that Jennie wears, she would not survive, hence why she owns a car.
Car dates were not uncommon for the two because Jennie's car was more than comfortable enough for the two of them to relax, as well as serving as a protective shelter for the two of them since Jennie has her windows tinted so that nobody could see through. The things that they have done in that car...
Nope.
Not the time.
Lisa shook the dirty thoughts and memories out of her head before focusing on the important thought that has crossed her mine. Jennie went everywhere with her car if it was out of Belvoire, and most recently she has been leaving the campus to go out with the socially elite to take her mind off things, most specifically Wendy and Lisa. The blondes knows this because she has seen the constant posts that Jennie uploads on her Instagram, her entourage present in all of the photos. So if she knew her girlfriend as well as she did, there is a possibility that Jennie would go out again tonight, especially since it was close to the weekend.
...
..
.
Is she seriously considering waiting out here like some creepy stalker for the small chance that her girlfriend would come out of the building to use her car?
...
..
.
The things that she does for love.
Lisa groaned to herself and started walking under the shadow of the trees towards the parking lot, her eyes searching through the multiple high-brand cars to spot her girlfriends car, it being a rather difficult task since all of the cars looked the same and there were so many of them. As she continued with her search, it did suddenly cross her mind that Jennie could be out from Belvoire already, hence the reason behind her lack of answering her calls and messages, but it was still in the afternoon, while her girlfriend may be upset, she is not stupid...well, that much.
Thoughts of Jennie possibly derailing with her thoughts and actions began to cross her mind but quickly evaporated when she suddenly recognized the brunette's car in the parking lot. Lisa immediately relaxed as she realized that the brunette was still on campus, but then she quickly became annoyed again because that meant that Jennie was purposely ignoring her messages and phone calls...again.
Honestly...Lisa was getting tired of her childish antics. She needed to actually grow up.
But...they were going to talk it through.
Lisa closed her eyes and took a deep breath to steady herself again, taking a few of them before opening them again with some resilience. Guess it was time for her to get some more coverage under the trees or in the wooded area in order to remain hidden and sort of comfortable as she waited for the brunette to possibly show up. But just as Lisa was readying herself to scout for an appropriate hiding location, a cutting voice called out to her which made the blonde freeze in place.
"What the hell are you doing here Lice?"
Lisa turned around to see three witches of the west staring at her with disgruntled expression – Joy, Yeri and Irene. The three were dressed in fabulous clothes as usual with on-point makeup, but as Lisa looked more closely, she noticed that Irene's eyes looked a little puffy and red...almost as if she was crying. But before Lisa could think more about that, the ice queen immediately snapped at her with her previous tone of voice.
"I asked what the hell you are doing here Lice. This is hardly your rundown dorm."
While Lisa did feel some slight concern when she saw Irene's red eyes, it all but flew out the window as the heiress's cutting words hit her at full force, which immediately make her scowl. She shouldered her camera bag and glared at the three women.
"None of your damn business." Irene scoffed.
"Oh really? You're at our side of the camps, at our dorms, and you're saying its none of my business?"
"Yes."
Lisa did not anticipate running into these three women of all people, although then again, she was at their dorm in the first place. But seriously, it was as if Murphy was smiling down at her while issuing his law, it is not fair that she now has to deal with these three banshees when she was so mentally prepared to talk to Jennie.
For once in her life, can't she just have a break?
"Get lost Lice, go run off with your own kind." Joy suddenly snapped; her eyes narrowed at the blonde as she stood readily in front of her. Lisa glared back at her.
"My kind? You mean us normal people?"
"As if you can call yourself normal."
"And what does that exactly mean?"
Lisa knows better than to trade barbs with these women, especially since it will result in heated tempers and bruised egos, but Lisa couldn't help it. She hated bullies, and these three were one of the top three bullies in the whole of Belvoire. She has never not confronted them, and it seems that she is not going to break her routine any time soon. Good thing, or rather a bad thing, the three women didn't seem like they were willing to break their routine either, as their eyes became dagger like as they glared at the blonde as if she was a piece of gum that became wedged in one of their branded shoes.
"It means that you and the rest of the students of Belvoire are abominations. There is no place for anywhere here and it would be best if you all got lost."
"Are you even listening to yourself? Abominations? Bitch, I am exactly the same as you. There is no difference between me and you." Joy scoffed while Yeri gave a disbelieving laugh, her judgmental eyes scanning Lisa from head to toe before finally locking eyes with her.
"While I do believe you are stupid Lice, I know for a fact that you're not blind." Yeri hissed, but Lisa rolled her eyes.
"At times I wish I was so that I don't have to see your fucking face."
"That, right there, is exactly my point. You and the rest of your kind are so uncouth, so disgusting, you all preach about being better than us and yet you have the manners that are equivalent to a bull in a China shop. You lack any form of grace and class." Lisa scoffed.
"You want to talk about class and manners? With all the money that all of you have, one would expect you to be the epitome of class and manners, and yet every bloody time you interact with someone like me, you prove to be one of the most vile, inhumane beings I have ever met in my life."
"Know your place, Lisa!" Irene suddenly snapped, stepping towards her with such a fiery glare that Lisa is surprised that she didn't erupt in flames. But Lisa contained a similar fire within her own gaze, as she steadily stood her ground as she faced off against the ice queen.
"And what exactly is my place hmmm? No matter how much you all bitch and preach, I have earned my spot here! I am just as entitled to everything in Belvoire as you fucking three are!"
"You don't belong here!"
"On the contrary, I believe I do. You all say that this place is only for the best...well, clearly I am the best since I have kicked the asses of your own fellow rich people at their own game. Look at my dancing resume this year, I have more than proven that I belong here."
Lisa didn't like bragging about her accomplishments, especially since they stand out better on their own when she remains humble about them, but she couldn't help but toss them in the three heiresses' faces. She was tired of hearing the same thing leaving their mouths each time they confront one another. They were like broken record players at this stage and Lisa was getting tired of it. Although she will admit, the red color on their faces fitted them perfectly from her perspective as they seemed angered at their own loss of words as the blonde's words soaked into their heads.
"You...you..." They were flabbergasted, unable to complete a full sentence, and it filled Lisa with pride that she managed to render them speechless. But similar to Jennie, they were stubborn, and they tried to collect themselves and the rest of their dignity. "You...you don't belong-"
"Is there anything else you can say aside from 'you don't belong here'? Because honestly, it is exhausting hearing the same thing over and over from the three of you. Get some new fucking material." The three of the froze at the blonde's words, but then Irene dropped a bomb that she most definitely did not expect.
"Drop dead Lisa."
...
..
.
Despite it being three words, a fire was ignited within Lisa and suddenly Lisa found herself marched forwards and placing her hands on the shoulders of the ice queen and giving her a hard shove. Irene gasped and all but flew into backwards onto the floor, nothing being behind to cushion her floor aside from the hard ground. Both Joy and Yeri gasped as Irene fell backwards and immediately went to her side to pick her up, checking on her physical status before turning to stare at Lisa in shock, the blonde breathing heavily on the spot as she glared viciously at the three women.
"Now that is crossing a fucking line." Lisa growled, taking a threatening step forward, which in turn prompted Irene to scramble to her feet and glare at the blonde in return, her faze ice cold.
"I said the truth. Do us a favor and drop dead Lisa."
"Fuck you." Lisa growled, stepping forward and suddenly grabbing Irene by her expensive top, pulling her in until she was nose to nose with her. "Fuck you and all of your fucking friends."
Lisa shoved Irene away from her again, only this time Joy and Yeri were there to catch Irene. Although the ice queen hardly seemed to care as she pushed them away from her and glared viciously at Lisa.
"I'm going to sue you for laying your filthy hands on me." Lisa laughed and shook her head, her eyes locked with the dark orbs that belonged to Irene, intent clear in her voice as she spoke her next few words.
"Do that, and I will make sure that everyone on Belvoire knows about you and your dirty little secret."
...
..
.
Irene was frozen on the spot as she stared at Lisa, not a single feature on her face moving as she stared directly into the honey colored ones which were filled with so much fire. Yeri and Joy stepped forward to stand beside Irene, but the heiress did not acknowledge them at all. Instead she swallowed thickly, slowly shaking her head as she continued to stare at the blonde.
"You...you don't know anything about me."
"On the contrary, I know everything. The source was very informative about their thoughts on the matter."
Horror dawned on Irene as she began to decipher the veiled threat which Lisa was issuing her, clearly indicating her knowledge about everything secretive about Irene that she wanted to remain public. Joy glanced at Irene before looking at Lisa, caution evident in her eyes as she began to speak.
"You better stop bluffing Lice, otherwise I-"
"Careful Joy...we wouldn't want to let any known betrayals to become aired to the public. Afterall, family duties are the most important...aren't I right?"
Lisa does not know what is compelling her to say these things, but she was saying them and she didn't feel a hint of remorse as she watched horror dawn upon Joy as well as she took an unsteady step back, her hands on Irene's arms tightening so much that her knuckles turned white. Irene did seemed phased at all by her friend's death grip, her eyes not leaving Lisa's for even a minute.
"You...you don't-"
"Just what on earth is going on here?"
A familiar voice snapped Lisa out of whatever vengeful haze she was in, prompting her to turn her head and see a very familiar raven-haired heiress walking towards them. Jisoo had a frown on her face as she walked towards the four women, glancing back at the dorm building before eying all four of the women.
"What has happened."
"I-"
"We-"
"It's none of your business Jisoo."
Jisoo slowly turned her head to look at Irene, her being the one to speak to Jisoo in such a cutting away, raising an eyebrow at the ice queen before turning to look at Lisa and then back.
"It is my business when I see four Belvoire students looking for a fight. What is going on."
"Lice is creeping around our building, we obviously wanted to know why the hell she was here before she all but attacked us." Yeri suddenly said, inserting herself in the conversation as she took a protective step in front of Joy and Irene to look at Jisoo directly in the eyes before tossing a scathing look at Lisa. But the Thai was unphased.
"I did not such thing."
"You pushed Irene!"
"That...was self-defense."
"Bullshit it was!"
Yeri stepped towards Lisa as if she wanted to throw a punch, which Lisa was ready to block, but before anything could erupt between the two of them, they were halted by Jisoo as she pressed a hand on their respective shoulders to prevent them from moving forwards. Jisoo flashed both of them a glare before shoving them apart and creating distance between the two of them.
"Enough. There will be no fight here. Leave. All four of you."
"Jisoo, you cannot be serious." Yeri started to object, only to be cut off when Jisoo whipped her head around to glare at her.
"I am serious. This is neither the time or place for the four of you to have a fight. Especially since there are so many eyes watching you."
Furrowing her eyebrow, Lisa whipped her head towards the dorm building and realized that the four of them were not as subtle as they thought with their argument as there was in fact an audience watching them. There were about a dozen rich students staring at them, all of them standing on the spot with their eyes fixed on the four women, a mixture of expressions amongst all of them.
Confusion. Curiosity, Outrage.
Clearly some of them shared the sentiments of the three witches standing in front of Lisa about Lisa being near their territory, but what was more worrying was the fact that Lisa noticed a few faces staring at them from the windows of some dorm rooms. From what she has learned from her experiences from Belvoire, words spreads quickly and with something as scandalous as the Lisa Manoban having a physical confrontation with three of the head bitches in charge, the blonde knows for sure that everybody will know about the ordeal by tomorrow.
...
..
.
Fuck.
At least she was not the only one who seemed panicked by the truth, because Joy and Irene were suddenly very pale and were hastily stepping away from Lisa and Jisoo, their eyes self-consciously looking around while shaking their heads. While none of the other students were close enough to hear what the four women were talking about, it was the fact that they were being watched which was frightening them. Both heiresses flashed Lisa one last horrified look before all but retreating towards the dorm building, Yeri following them after a few second after sending Jisoo and Lisa one final glare.
...
..
.
"What are you doing here Lisa?"
Lisa couldn't help but flinch at the cold tone being used by Jisoo, the raven staring at her with a hard look.
"I...I'm just-"
"Not here." Jisoo suddenly interrupted, looking at the people who were still fixated on the scene before grabbing Lisa by the shoulder and pushing her towards the forest path that lead towards the center of Belvoire. "Move."
Lisa did not dare to disobey the older Kim, simply ducking her head down and walking in the direction that Jisoo was pushing her, feeling the burning gazes of the students who had been a witness to the whole confrontation. Jisoo continued to push Lisa forwards until they were finally in a small sitting area which happened to be vacant. She shoved Lisa into one of the benches and crossed her arms over her chest as she stood in front of her.
"You better have a good reason to show yourself here of all places during the day."
"I...I wanted to talk to Jennie." Jisoo sighed in frustration, moving her hand to pinch the bridge of her nose.
"Lisa, I have told you before, you need to give her some space-"
"Giving her space is not working Jisoo! I need to talk to her!"
"Give her time, she will come back to you."
"I have given her more than enough time Jisoo! It is not fair for me to keep waiting on her like this! We need to talk to one another!"
"Lisa, you don't understand-"
"Wendy is back!"
.....
....
...
..
.
"What...did you say?" Jisoo said, her dark orbs fixed on Lisa's honey-colored ones as she stared into her very soul as she stood in front of the blonde. Lisa gulped but continued to speak.
"Wendy is back...she is the reason why Jennie is behaving the way that she is...we...we saw her the night of the afterparty at your and Jennie's club."
.....
....
...
..
.
"Lisa-"
"I met with her!" Lisa suddenly interrupted, the words leaving her mouth before she could even realize what she was saying. But Lisa didn't care, she could not keep it to herself any longer. Jisoo needed to know just as much as Jennie needed to know. "I met with her about an hour ago. I know Jisoo, I know about everything that happened to Jennie during middle school. I...I know everything."
.....
....
...
..
.
"Are you fucking insane?!"
There are two things that Lisa has learnt about Jisoo ever since she become romantically involved with her best friend again, as well as when Lisa and Jennie started dating. One, she makes one of the best breakfasts in the world despite have a personal chef. And two, she never, ever raises her voice. Even when she and Rose get into the odd argument, Jisoo is never the one to raise her voice. Rose definitely screams at her at times but Jisoo is the calm one between the two of them, even when she was obviously angry with the Australian.
So for her to yell at Lisa, that immediately told the blonde that the older Kim was beyond furious.
"Jisoo-"
"No, don't 'Jisoo' me! What the hell compelled you to do such a thing?! What were you even thinking?!"
"I needed to know Jisoo. You and Jennie keep it as one big secret! Whenever I even try broach the subject, both of you shut me down! Jennie is my girlfriend Jisoo, I am entitled to know about her past!"
"You are not entitled to anything! It is her business Lisa, and if she wanted you to know about it, then she would tell you!"
"That is bullshit and you know it! If Jennie had it her way, she would erase the past entirely!"
"And she would have the very right to do so! You don't understand what she has gone through!"
"Because you and her won't tell me!"
Lisa could understand why Jisoo was angry with her. Despite the two Kim being at odds with one another at times, it was obvious that they cared for one another. Jennie and Jisoo were very protective of one another, especially Jisoo over Jennie, so she kind of figures that Jisoo's protective instincts were kicked into overdrive.
But that didn't mean that she had the right to yell at Lisa, especially since her intentions came from a good place. So she took a steadying breath to not lose her head before staring at Jisoo with a determined look.
"Listen, you weren't there at the restaurant when we saw Wendy. The way Jennie acted...it scared me. I have never seen her act that way before, and the fact that it was due to her seeing Wendy again worried me. I love her Jisoo, I really do, and I want to do whatever I can to support her through whatever trauma she is reliving in her head, but I can't do that when I am kept in the dark about everything. It isn't fair to me, because the last thing that I want to do is accidentally set a trigger in Jennie because I don't know about her past experiences with dating. As far as I knew when I first arrived at Belvoire, the only person Jennie was with was Kai, and I have definitely tried my best to not be like him."
Jisoo was glaring intensely at Lisa, her heart-shaped mouth fixed in a scowl as she listened to the blonde, breathing heavily in an attempt to control herself. She clicked her tongue and shook her head.
"I can't believe you didn't tell me."
"No offense Jisoo...but it actually isn't any of your business."
"Not my business? Not my business! Lisa, you weren't there in middle school when everything happened to Jennie! Who do you think was there to see her get victimized all because she fell in love? Who do you think is the one that fended off grown ass adult when they tried to hurt Jennie? Who do you think was the one to eventually tell our parents about everything because someone was too damn proud and embarrassed to ask for help? Who Lisa? Who?!"
"Jisoo-"
"I am so fucking pissed at you Lisa. So. Fucking. Pissed."
"And you can be pissed at me all you want, but Jisoo...I need to talk to Jennie. I know she is in pain and everything, but it is not healthy for her to behave the way she is behaving."
"She can behave any way that she sees fit-"
"And it is that indulgent attitude of yours and your family that has led to Jennie to be dealing with this so unhealthily. Instead of having seek some kind of help or something, you have tried to bury it up and let Jennie do whatever she wants. I get that you guys are rich, but I thought that you would have been smarter than that."
While Lisa figured that Jisoo would get upset at the jab that she just made at her family, she did not anticipate the heiress actually hitting her. Lisa yelped in pain when the raven's hand connected with her shoulder, the slap being so loud that she was certain that others heard it from the rich dorms. Lisa immediately went to clutch at her shoulder, only to flinch when she suddenly felt a hand on her jaw, fingers digging into skin as she was held in place by an infuriated Jisoo Kim, her eyes blazing with fire.
"How. Dare you." She growled, sending shivers of fear in Lisa as she was frozen in place while she a dominating air form between the two women as Jisoo glare at her. "You have no right in insulting my family like that. You have no idea what we went through after Wendy and Jennie were found out. You did not see the suffering that my aunt and uncle went through when they eventually found out that Jennie was getting bullied by adults and children alike. You have no fucking idea how long it took for Jennie to recover from everything."
Jisoo continued to dig her fingers in Lisa's door, making the blonde wince in pain, but Lisa found some courage within herself to grab the raven's wrist and all but shove her away before standing up, her eyes resolute in defiance as she stood off against the older Kim.
"You're right, I don't, and you have right to be pissed with me. But Jisoo, I am on the same side as you. I want what is best for Jennie and while you think that giving her time to herself will help fix her, then I disagree. The thing with Wendy happened in middle school Jisoo, middle school, it has nearly been a decade, don't you think that it is time for Jennie to deal with the ghosts of her pasts in order to have a better future? A future with me?"
That is all Lisa wanted with Jennie. A future, yes, she knows that it will be a rocky journey but she will gladly walk it as long as Jennie is by her side. The two of them are in love, surely they can make it work. She will be with Jennie every step of the way, that she can promise right at this very moment.
Jisoo went silent, her eyes locked with Lisa's as she contemplated the blonde's words. Lisa didn't look away once, waiting patiently for Jisoo's retort without any intentions of backing down. Jisoo bit down on her bottom lip, her breathing still rather unsteady, but then she surprisingly closed her eyes and took a deep, shaky breath before opening her eyes again to look at Lisa.
"Do you honestly think that you and Jennie have a future together?"
Yes.
"Yes."
"Even though the two of you are from two different worlds?"
Yes.
"Yes."
"And if the whole of Belvoire was to find out about the two of you tomorrow? Would you stay by her side?"
Yes.
"Absolutely."
"Even if it means that your own life is in danger?"
Yes.
"My life is not worth living if I don't have Jennie in it."
...
..
.
"You better not make me fucking regret this, Lisa. She is in her dance studio."
Jisoo then spun on her heel and walked off without another word to the blonde, the tension in the air finally evaporating due to the retreat of the older Kim. Lisa couldn't help but stare wide-eyed at the back of the raven heiress before collapsing back into her seat, relief finally filling her body as she no longer felt like she was in the presence of a predator. She absentmindedly began to rub her shoulder which the raven had struck.
"...Nice right hook." She said to herself, wincing as she touched the tender spot. She was definitely going to have a bruise tomorrow.
...
..
.
Jisoo's words eventually dawned on her, and Lisa immediately leapt from her seat as she realized that the older Kim had told her the location of Jennie. The dance studio was much easier for Lisa to access than the dorm building, so without wasting in further time, Lisa hurried in the direction of the rich student dance studio building.
~~~

The last time Lisa was at the rich student dance studio was when she had that duet project with Jennie since the brunette refused to dance in Lisa's territory in the form of the dance club building that she and her friends used. But Lisa did not dwell on it as she arrived at the building. Fortunately, there were not students near the dance building so Lisa easily managed to slip in without detection since the main entrance door was left wide open. Lisa immediately took the route that she faintly remembered during her time in the building.

Lisa walked through the building with a bunch of nerves in her stomach, but she was determined to see this through. She was not going to kick a gift horse in the mouth since Jisoo provided the blonde with the location of her cousin, and Lisa was going to take the opportunity to finally speak with Jennie face-to-face after so long.

As Lisa walked through the building, she heard the faint music come from the respective dance rooms which the rich kids were using to practice whatever dance they were dancing to. Lisa ignored most of them, but then she suddenly found herself pausing when she walked past a dance room which had the engraved letters of her least favourite person in Belvoire on the door in gold.

Kai.

Music was coming from the room and since most of the dance rooms had some small slats of glass windows beside the door in order for people to check if the room was occupied, Lisa peaked through of the glass slats to see Kai busy practising a dance by himself, staring intently at the mirror.

(Imagine Kai is in a practice room)

While it pained Lisa to admit it, Kai was an incredible dancer and it was very much proven when he was one of the winners of the Open day performances, even though he was the last person that Lisa, or rather everyone from the poor students, wanted to win.

Ever since the Open day, Kai has become more insufferable than usual. Whenever Lisa or the others were forced to interact with him, he would always be sure to remind them of his win and his apparent superiority over them. They get that he was a winner, but so was Chungha and Jungkook, and whenever it was pointed out to him, he always shut down their achievement. The way he held himself and behaved on campus, acting more pompous than usual...it grated Lisa's nerves.

How could one person be such an insufferable asshole?

Suddenly angered at the sight of the man, Lisa ducked away from the room before the dancer noticed her and continued her way towards Jennie's studio until she finally found herself in front of the door, Jennie's name similarly engraved on the door while music pounded from the inside. Suddenly hit with anxiety, Lisa couldn't help but take a deep breath before taking a peak at the glass slate that were near Jennie's door to look at the brunette being lost in a dance of her own, the sight of her girlfriend making Lisa breathless.

(Imagine this is Jennie in her luxurious dance studio)

It has been so long since Lisa has seen Jennie in more relaxed clothes, especially since she always wore branded clothes when she was in public. Jennie was wearing baggy pants with a white crop top, showing off her impressive stomach muscles which Lisa was a little bit obsessed with. Lisa always becomes breathless at the sight of her girlfriend, and now was no different despite the circumstances that has led to Lisa coming to the brunette's dance studio in the first place.

So gathering all the courage that she had, Lisa reached out and knocked on the door.

"Go away." Jennie immediately called out, her voice filled with fatigue, which clearly told Lisa that the brunette has been practicing for a while. But instead of obeying her girlfriends words, Lisa knocked again.

"I said go away!" Jennie's voice called out even more, a hint of annoyance now obvious to the blonde. But Lisa again didn't say anything, she instead continued to knock against the door, refusing to acknowledge the brunette's annoyed sounds that were coming from the room while it was all she wanted to do. She then heard footsteps heading towards the door.

"For fucks sake, I told you to go away!" Jennie's voice yelled as she opened the door to see who the annoying knocker was, only to freeze when she locked eyes with Lisa, her hand still raised. "Lisa-"

Before the brunette had the chance to slam the door in the blonde's face, Lisa pushed past Jennie and darted inside before hurrying into the middle of the room, her eyes fixed on the brunette as she whirled around to look at her, a scowl immediately forming on her lips.

"Why the hell are you here?"

"To talk to you." Lisa said simply, taking off her camera bag and placing it at the edge of the room before looking back at her now irate girlfriend. Jennie glared at the blonde before opening the door wider and pointing at it with her other hand.

"Get out."

"No."

"Lisa...I want you to get out."

"And I said no."

"Lisa!" The brunette all but screeched, but Lisa did not allow it to intimidate her as she crossed her arms and fixed Jennie with a calculated look.

"Scream any louder and someone will come to see what the problem is. How will you explain us being in the same room together?"

A dirty move, especially given the circumstances, but it did the trick as Jennie's eyes suddenly widened as she whipped her head in the direction of the door, checking to see if there was anyone coming, before all but slamming it shut. Lisa sighed in relief.

First step, to get in, is complete.

Now to get on with the rest of the plan.

Jennie's glare was burning holes in the Thai, but she stood strong as she crossed her arms and readied herself for the standoff which was bound to come to fruition. Afterall, she knew Jennie very well to the extent that it was almost like she could read her mind.

"Why are you here?" Jennie demanded, walking towards the blonde with narrowed eyes.

"To talk to you."

"Why?"

"Because you're my girlfriend and I want to talk to you."

"And you thought that sneaking in here was the best way to do that?"

"Well, you haven't answered my phone calls or messages for the past two weeks, as well as never coming to see me. So I guess it was my turn to come see you."

Lisa knew that Jennie would not be able to deny her complete ghosting of her, especially since Lisa eyed her girlfriend's phone on the table besides the stereo that she was using to play music in the room. Jennie obviously knew that she could not deny it, as indicated by her jaw muscle that was flashing on her face as she clenched her teeth, chocolate orbs glaring at honey-colored ones.

"I've been busy."

"Bullshit." Lisa immediately quipped, her own eyes shifting into a glare while Jennie's only intensified from the blonde's lack of manners towards her.

"Lisa, you better-"

"No Jennie don't even try demand something of me. You haven't spoken to me for two weeks and we both know the reason for that."

There was not going to be an easy way to get through this conversation, especially since Jennie had really terrible communication skills when she was angry. And from the red color that her girlfriend's face was turning, Lisa could easily tell that communication skills were going to be a failure because Jennie's temper was flaring.

"You have no idea what you are talking about."

"Jennie, in case you have forgotten, I was there that night too. And I was there the day afterwards when you woke up in my bed. I know what I am talking about, but you don't want to talk about it with me."

"I have no reason to talk about anything with you!" Jennie screeched, her fists tightened so much that her knuckles were turning white but Lisa did not let it phase her. Instead Lisa began to walk towards Jennie with a determined look.

"Yes you do, because while you are entitled to your privacy Jennie, you have no right to ghost me like you have for the past two weeks. All I want to do is help you Jennie, to give you the support that you need during this time."

"I don't need help and I don't need your support!" Jennie yelled, but Lisa only shook her head as she got closer.

"Jennie, I get that you've been through a lot. And I'm so sorry that you did, but the way you are being with me...its not right. I just want to help you Jennie, please understand that is all I want to do."

"If you want to help me, then you can get out of my face right now!"

The two of them were about two meters apart and Lisa decided to not push the brunette too hard, especially since she was getting so angry. She didn't say anything for a few moments before sighing, licking her lips to try center herself before speaking to her enraged girlfriend again.

"Jennie...you're in pain, I can see that even now, and believe me, others can see it to. Please...just talk to me."

"There is nothing to say." Jennie growled, crossing her arms and digging her fingertips in her arms as she continued to glare at Lisa. The blonde sighed before looking at her with tender eyes.

"But there is Jennie. Seeing Wendy, I know that-"

"You don't fucking know anything Lisa, so stop acting like you do!"

Jennie took threatening steps towards her with her hands out to push Lisa, but the blonde anticipated it as she grabbed Jennie's wrists and pulled her close to her, their bodies finally touch one another for the first time in two weeks. Lisa couldn't help but revel in the feeling for a few seconds before continuing with her plan.

"Jennie, you need to talk to me. I can't help you if you don't open up to me."

"I don't need to fucking open up to you! I'm fine! I'm fine!"

"You're not Jennie. If you were, you wouldn't be behaving like you have for the past two weeks."

"Are you acting like this all because I ignored some phone calls and messages? Fuck it, fine I'm sorry! Is that what you fucking want to hear? I'm sorry, I'm sorry! There, there is your fucking apology!"

Jennie begin to wiggle viciously against Lisa, eyes burning into Lisa's as she tried to pull herself out of the blonde's grip, but Lisa held on fast. She was so close, she could feel Jennie's defenses starting to lower. Just a little bit further.

"I don't want an apology Jennie, I just want you to let me in."

"Let you in where? Fuck Lisa, just let me go!"

"I am here to help you Jennie, that is all I want to do!"

"I don't need your fucking help!"

"I need you to talk to me. To just let everything go!"

"I fucking told you that I don't need to do anything, and I don't need anything from you! Will you just fuck off and leave me alone!"

"Jennie, I spoke with Wendy."

.....

....

...

..

.

"What...did you say?"

Any sort of struggling that Jennie was previously done had all but vanished. Jennie was now frozen in place, her eyes locked with Lisa's as she stared at Lisa with frightening intensity. But Lisa has finally said it, she confessed the truth, now she can only make it better from here on out."

"I spoke with Wendy. About an hour ago. She...she told me everything Jennie. About how the two of you met, how your started dating and...how things ended."

Lisa watched Jennie carefully as she spoke, noticing how Jennie seemingly adopt a cold mask on her face, not showing an sort of emotion as Lisa spoke. She showed no signs of struggling, so Lisa found herself slowly relaxing her grip on Jennie's wrists as she continued to talk.

"The night we first saw her, after you...got better from the incident in the alleyway, she stopped me for a few moments to give me a piece of paper. Her phone number to be exact. She begged me to please give it to you...and I decided to use it yesterday to call her and organize a meeting between her and me, one-on-one.'

Lisa licked her dry lips and finally released Jennie's wrists to dig into her pocket and pull out the piece of paper which contained Wendy's phone number. She took a deep breath before offering it to Jennie, her eyes fixed on the brunette's face.

"That night, I never made any promises about giving it to you because I didn't know how you would react. And for the past two weeks...I've just been lost. I didn't know what was the best thing to do, so...I asked to meet with her. To get the full story about everything that happened between the two of you. I know I have probably overstepped, but I didn't know who else to talk to Jennie. It felt like she was the only one who could make sense of everything that was happening to you and me."

Lisa held out the piece of paper to Jennie and noticed how the brunette turned to stare at it for a few long moments before reaching out and taking it from Lisa's hand, her eyes immediately becoming fixed to the number digits facing up at her. Lisa took another deep breath before continuing.

"She and I spoke for a while, at her restaurant of all places, and everything she told me...hell Jennie, I am so sorry all of that happened to you. Neither of you deserved it, especially not you."

Jennie slowly lifted her head to stare at Lisa, her eyes vacant of any type of emotion as she stared at the blonde, still not uttering a single word since Lisa dropped the bomb. While Lisa was slightly cautious at the silence, she continued to talk in order to get her point across the brunette.

"She wasn't mad that I didn't give it to you straight away, in fact, she seemed to understand why I didn't do it. But at the end of our talk, she asked me to ask you to please give her a call so that the two of you can talk. And thinking about it Jennie, I think it is a good idea. The two of you went through a lot, and you both deserve some sort of closure, so I really think that you should-"

SLAP

.....

....

...

..

.

Her cheek hurt.

It was burning.

In fact, her neck hurt too, simply because it was snapped to the side with her head as Jennie's palm connected with Lisa's cheek, a full-blown blast of power behind it that Lisa was surprised that she was not sent flying to the floor.

"How. Dare. You." Jennie growled, her feline eyes glaring cuttingly at Lisa as the blonde slowly turned her head back to look at Jennie with wide eyes. "How fucking dare you!"

Suddenly hands were on her chest and this time Lisa was sent flying to the floor, not expecting to be pushed by the brunette. Lisa landed painfully on the floor, her hands taking the brunt of her fall, which in turn made white, hot pain shoot up her right wrist, making Lisa hiss in pain as she brought it out from under her and cradled it with her other hand

It hurt. It really hurt.

"You had no right Lisa! No fucking right!"

Lisa whipped her head up to see Jennie fuming in front of her, completely uncaring of the fact that she had in fact just pushed Lisa to the floor, and quite obviously caused her to injure her wrist. The brunette's entire body was trembling, her breathing uneven, and her eyes so ice cold that it was almost as if she was staring into the eyes of a complete stranger.

"What happened between Wendy and I is my business! Mine! And you fucking crossed all of the lines possible to cross with me! What the fuck were you thinking to talk to her? Why the fuck did you keep her number away from me? You had no fucking right to do any of this! None, fucking none!"

Lisa just continued to stare up at Jennie in stunned silence, still in a state of disbelief over the fact that Jennie had just slapped her and pushed her to the floor. As the brunette continued to fume in front of her, all sorts of vulgar words leaving her mouth, the depth of results connected to Jennie's bottled-up thoughts and emotions began to dawn on her. The blonde knew that talking about Wendy was going to be a struggle with Jennie, especially since Jennie seemed to lock up the memories in the back of her mind, but for this type of reaction to come out of Lisa after she confessed the truth...it was unhealthy. It was...wrong.

Lisa understands that she did cross a few lines with her talking to Wendy behind Jennie's back, but she did it with good intentions because she simply wanted to understand the extent of damage caused to Jennie to evoke such an unhealthy way of behavior which affected more than just their relationship. Jennie was traumatized from her experiences, that much was obvious, but to hurt Lisa when she was trying to help...

...

..

.

Would she have done the same if it was Wendy?

Lisa tried not to dwell on the comparison between herself and Wendy, especially since the two of them were two different people, but as Jennie continued to scream at her, Lisa couldn't help but dwell on the similarities she noticed between herself and Wendy. They were both poor students of Belvoire, but they did not allow it to limit them in their opportunities. They stood up for themselves, they did not adhere to the status quo of Belvoire between the rich students and poor students, and most importantly, they are romantically linked to Jennie.

But unlike Wendy, Lisa is not Jennie's first love.

The first love is always the hardest to get over, Lisa know this from experience, but as she continued to listen to Jennie's venomous words, she couldn't help but detect a bit of...protectiveness in Jennie's voice as she spoke about her past relationship with Wendy. While Jennie has been protective over Lisa before, she has never quite defended her in a way like she was right now about her relationship with Wendy. Then again, nobody knows about their relationship except for a selected few, but still...even though Jennie 'protected' her from other bullies in Belvoire under the guise of Lisa being Jennie's prey...she has never outright protected her from anything.

If Lisa truly had to think about it, the only rich kids who have actually ever protected her from something was Jackson and Jisoo, the raven sticking up for the students a lot more since getting back together with Rose.

Surely if Jennie truly did want to protect her...wouldn't she be more direct and outright?

Suddenly, a thought began to dawn on Lisa, which began to stir up all of her emotions the longer she remained on the hard wooden floor with her girlfriend's voice piercing her ears. Lisa suddenly found bubble of fire burning in her chest, draining out all her other emotions or sensations in her body as she swallowed the thick stone that had formed in her throat.

"Am I just a replacement for Wendy?"

.....

....

...

..

.

"What...?" Jennie uttered, her previous poisonous words freezing on the tip of her tongue as she stared at Lisa in shock, the blonde staring intently at Jennie wild a emotionless mask of her own.

"Am I just a replacement for Wendy?" She repeated, her eyes transfixed on Jennie as she tried to deal with the tornado of emotions within herself. Jennie just stared at her slack jawed.

"I...y-you..."

Jennie was at a loss of words, that much was obvious, but the question that Lisa was asking was a simple 'yes or no' answer, and yet the brunette was not giving her anything. She was just silent...and that spoke volumes to Lisa. The blonde suddenly scoffed and stood up from her position on the floor, the stone in her throat more obvious to her but not as much as a hindrance that Lisa thought it would be as she stared at Jennie.

"Answer me, Jennie. Am. I. Wendy's. Replacement?"

"..."

Jennie just stared at Lisa in horror, her mouth opening and closing like a gaping fish, unable to utter even a single sound to try answer Lisa's question, which in turn made her scoff. Lisa shook her head and licked her lips before asking the one question which was now on the forefront of her mind ever since she decided to talk with Wendy.

"Is your past with Wendy more important than your future with me?"

.....

....

...

..

.

Jennie didn't say anything. She just continued to stare at Lisa with the same expression, unable to say anything while the blonde waited impatiently for her answer.

But it seemed that she had gotten it.

Lisa let out a laugh, a cold empty one, before she turned around and walked to retrieve her camera bag before walking back Jennie so that she stood directly in front of her again, only this time with more emotion than before because of the tension building up behind her eyes. But no matter what, she was not going to let any tears fall. Not in front of Jennie. And with a surprisingly strong voice, Lisa uttered the words she never thought she would ever say.

"I'll leave you with your past then. We're done."

She then brushed past Jennie and stormed towards the door, not bothering to listen or turn to the brunette as she opened the door and slammed it shut, leaving behind everything that she thought was important but clearly was not.
