Above Is Red's uniform and school bag✨

******************************

Red Pov

" And this is our school's seamstress, she will be taking your measurements" Elder Carl introduced me to the school's seamstress, Mrs. Aeth. She was the only person who seemed genuinely interested in my presence at the school, as if she saw something special in me. It was clear that not all of the Elders wanted me there.

After the ordeal of the "me staying here probation," Elder Carl wasted no time in suggesting that I start attending classes. Since it was already late and I had no idea where my dorm was or how things worked around here, she kindly offered to have a student show me the ropes. I was grateful for her assistance, but also a bit apprehensive.

The thought of being surrounded by non-human students made me uneasy. And now, here I stood in the Clothing aspect of the school, staring at a woman with horns on her head. She looked like the devil's cousin or something.

"Mrs. Aeth, this is Red, our new transfer student," Elder Carl introduced me, surprising me with the term "transfer student."

"Hi," I greeted nervously, offering a faint wave to Mrs. Aeth, who didn't seem pleased with my greeting. She remained silent for a moment, then shifted her gaze to Elder Carl.

"Mhmm, she doesn't smell like one of us," Mrs. Aeth commented, and I couldn't help but feel a pang of anxiety. Did everyone here have the ability to smell that I wasn't from their world?

"I haven't noticed anything of the sort, and I suggest we don't spread rumors," Elder Carl responded, his words carrying a hint of warning. There was a silent exchange between them, as if they were communicating something without involving me.

After a brief moment, Mrs. Aeth nodded slightly and bowed her head in agreement. "Well then, I'll leave you two to it," she said as she walked up to me. "I hope you feel welcome here, Red," Elder Carl added before departing, leaving me alone with Mrs. Aeth.

As Mrs. Aeth drew nearer, a shiver ran down my spine. There was an aura of power and authority emanating from her. It was as if she held the ability to unravel my very essence with a single glance. "Let's get started, shall we?" she declared, her voice commanding attention. I nodded, trying to suppress my apprehension.

With swift and practiced movements, Mrs. Aeth retrieved her measuring tape. She expertly took my measurements, her hands moving with a grace and precision that spoke of years of experience. The process was surprisingly quick, not taking more than a minute. It was evident that she was a master of her craft.

"All done," she announced, removing the measuring tape from around me. She returned to her table, leaving me bewildered by the sudden conclusion. Confusion lingered on my face as I uttered a puzzled, "What?"

Mrs. Aeth's eyes drifted towards a full-length mirror positioned nearby, silently urging me to take a look. Intrigued, I cautiously approached the mirror, unsure of what I would see. And then, my eyes widened with awe and disbelief.

"Holy shit!" I exclaimed, my words escaping before I could restrain them. I had just witnessed my first encounter with magic in this enchanting world. The transformation was astonishing.

Gone were my dirty and tattered clothes, replaced by the most exquisite uniform I had ever laid eyes on. The uniform was a testament to Mrs. Aeth's skill and artistry. A blood-red blazer adorned my shoulders, while a crisp white top with a grey vest completed the ensemble. The matching skirt, its hue mirroring that of the blazer, fell gracefully to just above my knees, making me feel a mix of discomfort and excitement. My unkempt hair had been artfully styled into a neat bun, with a few wisps framing my face.

I couldn't help but marvel at the attention to detail. The tie added a touch of sophistication to the ensemble, perfectly complementing the overall look. It was a stark contrast to the drab and unremarkable uniform I had worn in the human world. This transformation felt like a tangible representation of my newfound belonging in this extraordinary realm.

Breathless, I turned to Mrs. Aeth, overwhelmed with gratitude. "Thank you," I managed to utter, my voice filled with awe and appreciation. Mrs. Aeth simply nodded and instructed me to leave, explaining that her work was already done and I needed to go to class. However, I had no idea which class to attend.

"Um, Miss-" I began, but she cut me off sharply.

"It's Mrs. Aeth to you," she corrected me, her irritation apparent.

"Miss Red, it's time for your class," Uncle J suddenly burst into the room, pretending not to know me, which was the only way to save me from Mrs. Aeth's annoyance.

"Elder Carl already knows about it," he added, ensuring Mrs. Aeth wouldn't refuse him if he didn't involve Elder Carl.

Mrs. Aeth nodded quietly, and I followed Uncle J as we left the Clothing aspect of the school, attracting curious glances from the other students.

"Thanks for escorting me," I expressed my gratitude to Uncle J, appreciating his timely intervention.

"It's not a problem. By the way, I'm your teacher for the class," he informed me matter-of-factly, his tone taking on a more professional demeanor. I couldn't help but feel a mix of relief and apprehension. On one hand, I was grateful for his assistance, but on the other hand, having him as my teacher raised a new set of uncertainties.

"I saw that," Uncle J remarked, noticing my eye roll. "And isn't the skirt a bit too short for you?" he added, disapproving of the uniform's length.

"He's not parenting me right now," I thought to myself, feeling a twinge of annoyance at his comment. Nevertheless, I decided to let it slide. There were more pressing matters at hand.

"Which class are you teaching, anyway?" I quickly changed the subject, hoping to steer the conversation away from the uniform and onto something less vexing.

"History," he responded, and we continued walking down the hallways towards the classroom.

As we approached the door of the classroom, my heart pounded relentlessly in my chest, reminiscent of the anxiety I felt during my high school days. It was as if Aunt May herself were here, ready to provide words of encouragement and support. The mixture of anticipation and nervousness filled the air, and I could tell by his genuine gaze that he sensed my unease. I longed to establish a mind link with him, to seek solace in his presence, but I reminded myself that I still needed to master control over my abilities.

"Just take deep breaths, Red. They won't bite... well, most of them won't," he offered, attempting to ease my apprehension.

"How comforting," I muttered under my breath, relieved that my sarcasm went unnoticed. With a slow and deliberate motion, he opened the door, stepping inside as I followed closely behind, feeling like a lost and bewildered puppy.

Suddenly, we both came to an abrupt halt, our attention drawn to the students within the room. He stood still, his gaze fixed upon them, and I mirrored his action, observing the diverse array of faces before me.

"Good day, students. We have a new addition to our class today-a transfer student from our neighboring school," he announced, leaving me in an awkward limbo as he made his way to stand beside his desk, assuming his position of authority.

"Miss Red, please introduce yourself," he directed his attention towards me, the weight of the room now focused on my trembling figure.

A surge of panic surged through me, rendering me momentarily speechless. I stood there, frozen, my eyes scanning the unfamiliar faces, desperately trying to discern what kind of beings they might be.

"H-Hi... I-I am Red..." I managed to stammer, my voice betraying the nervousness that gripped me.

"Black," a mischievous voice exclaimed from the back of the classroom, accompanied by a playful glimmer in the boy's eyes.

Seriously? I cursed inwardly, silently berating my luck.

"Your name is Red Black," another student chimed in, unable to contain his amusement, revealing a set of fangs protruding from his mouth.

A vampire, of course.

Red, stay calm.

Take slow, deep breaths. You can handle this.

"Umm, no, it's actually Musee, with two 'e's," I corrected, wincing inwardly at the choice of surname.

Their stares bore into me, their expressions inscrutable. I couldn't discern whether it would be wiser to flee or somehow find a place to hide amidst their penetrating gazes.

"Wait, I know you. You're the girl who broke the Crystal of Souls, right?" a girl with striking pink eyes inquired, her curiosity unmistakable.

Oh no.

I hadn't realized that news traveled with such rapidity in this world. Within mere moments of her announcement, whispers began to circulate through the class, disrupting the previously serene atmosphere.

"Alright, that's enough interrogation for now," Uncle J intervened, his authoritative voice instantly quelling the rising commotion.

"Miss Red, why don't you find a seat at that table?" he suggested, extending his arm to indicate an empty table designed for two people.

I nodded, my legs carrying me toward the designated spot, hyper aware of the peculiar stares cast my way by the girls in the class.

Yes, without a doubt, this experience was rapidly resembling the tumultuous landscape of high school once again.

I already hate this place.
