Johnnie and I was making our way back home, when we was stopped by no other than Alex.
"Hey kyle."
"What do you want?" I pushed Johnnie behind me.
"So is it true?" She laughed.
"Is what true?" I looked at her confused.
"Little Johnnie here is about to be a blood sucker?" She walked over to Johnnie.
I growled pushed her away. "Don't go near him!"
"I won't bite." She giggled a little "again."
I felt Johnnie hand tighten around mine. "Stay away from us!"
"Kyle" Johnnie whispered
"People are looking."
"Let them look, we're not doing anything."
"Please, can we leave."
"Yeah." I walked pass Alex, making sure Johnnie was beside me.
Once we were in the car Johnnie got quiet again.
"What's wrong?" I started the car, driving down the road.
"Thank you for today." He removed his hand from mine.
"Why would you be mad at me? What did I do?" I kept my eyes on the road.
"But I still don't know if I'm mad at you or not."
"Why would you be mad at me?"
"I'm just upset with everyone" he sighed and laid his head against the window.
I rubbed his back, keeping one hand on the wheel.
"Please just- don't" he whispered and removed my hand, sadness over welmed me.
Maybe Kay was right, he probably getting tired of me. I should just leave him alone, let him find someone better.
When we got home he went straight to our room and put headphones in, drowning me and everyone else in the house out.
I couldn't stand the silent, I got up and walked out the room.
"Hey, uhm this is gonna be awkward but can I ask a favor?" I bumped into Jordan.
"Yeah, sure what is it."
"I'm kind of out of blood." He rubbed the back of his neck.
"And I've never hunted." He added looking down.
"I'll teach you, I need to get my mind off of things right now."
"What's up?" He grabbed his shoes.
"Johnnie, mad because of what happened between Kay and I." I took a deep breath. "Maybe it would be best, if I just leave this please."
"He did get hurt, something he was promised wouldn't happen." He jumped over a log.
"Maybe he's scared, not of you but of everything. He hasn't talked to me either" he mummbled the last part.
"See I can't protect, I'm just a monster to him. Kay was right, I can control myself." I felt myself getting anger. But why?
"I don't know" jordan mumbled.
"I think I have enough now" he looked at the 4-5 bags of animal blood.
I didn't even noticed he got them. "Let head back." I mumbled
"Yea" we started to walk back when he got a call.
I looked at him question who he was talking to.
"Were on our way!
Okay, okay well hurry."
He started sprinting.
"Someone's in the house." He shout
"Shit." We took off at an inhuman like speed.
The door was open and the house was gone through.
I ran up to mine and Johnnies room."
Our room was distroyed and Johnnie was no where, but his headphones were on the bed.
"Jordan!!!" I yelled
"What?" He yelled running in the room.
"I can't find Johnnie!" I ran to Kay office
Books were ripped and gone through.
"Kay?" I yelled
"Kyle?" A whisper called
I looked around the room. "Kay? Johnnie?"
"Kyle" Kay came from a hidden door in the floor.
I ran over and held her up. "Where's Johnnie? What happened?"
"I made Damon take him and Jeydon, I don't know where they went. Someone just came in, they tree smoke in the house and I couldn't breath." She started crying.
"Look everything is okay, I'll call Johnnie and find out where they want. I promise I won't let anything happen to Johnnie. And I promise nothing will happen to you."
"What about Jeydon." Jordan said
"He's important too!" He slammed something to the floor starling Kay.
"I know, we will find him Jordan I promise." I paced back and front, running my hand through my hair.
