The paparazzi near you start shouting. You look at the start of the red carpet and see that Jenna Ortega has finally arrived, looking as incredible as ever.
You take a deep breath and compose yourself. Remember, nothing special. You're just here to interview her for a few minutes.
You can't help but watch her intently as she makes her way across the carpet. You think to yourself that the brown suit she's wearing looks stunning on her.
Before you realise it, she has already made her way to the interview section and is close to approaching you.
Once she does, you smile at her, saying, "Hi Jenna, you look so incredible tonight. How are you feeling about being nominated?"
You could have sworn she quickly checked you out before she gave you that charming smile. "I'm honoured to be able to be here today. It's my first time at this award show, but it's been great."
You nod and continue with your questions, too busy to notice Jenna's subtle lip bite and intense stare at you.
Before you know it, you've finished your questions. She catches you by surprise and offers you her hand, that damn smile still on her face. You take her hand, and she shakes it gently.
"Lovely to meet you, Y/n. I hope I'll have the pleasure of being interviewed by you again," she says, winking before she lets your hand go.
You're barely able to process the interaction, and by the time you think of a reply, she has already headed inside the venue.
You hate to admit it, but she affected you. What you didn't know is she was thinking the same thing.
