JENNIE'S POV
During our Christmas shopping the other night, Lisa shared with Jisoo and I about her encounter with Taehyung. I was actually thankful that he was there, but I was shocked to know that Lisa could have injured herself badly.
The next morning, I bought Taehyung breakfast to thank him for saving Lisa. I saw the shock on his face and he explained that he didn't have any intentions to flirt with her and he rambled on before I stopped him. He was so scared he'd get into trouble.
It was finally the day of our flight and Christmas is coming! I always love Christmas in New York, except for the mass of people. I can't wait to get the site visit over and done with and then spend the rest of the holidays with Lisa and the other two.
"Baby, you got everything packed yeah?" Lisa asked as she grabbed her carry on bag.
I took a peek into my bag to ensure I brought the ring, "Yup! Got everything! We can leave now, the ride is almost here."

The moment we touched down, Jisoo and I immediately went to the site while Lisa and Rose headed to the hotel. By the time we were both done and back at the hotel, we didn't even care about how hungry we were. Our tiredness was overpowering and I just wanted to be with Lisa.
I entered our suite and was greeted by a relaxing scent.
"Babe, you're here! Let me take your bag," Lisa walked over taking my bag from my hand.
"The place smells lovely," I commented.
"I've prepared a bath for you babe. Go relax for a bit. And I'll order room service. You must be hungry and tired. But I won't let you go to bed with an empty stomach."
I kissed Lisa, "Thank you, you're the best."
The bath was so relaxing that I managed to get a good 15 minutes power nap. Lisa knows how to make a good bath.
"The bath was so good baby, thank you!" I thanked Lisa as I walked over to her. She was laying dinner on the table.
She turned and wrapped her arms around me, "Anything for you. I've missed you today."
"Me too, I couldn't wait to come back to you," I leaned into Lisa, her scent is intoxicating.
Our moment was ruined by the growl my stomach made.
"Hahaha! I think that is a sign that you should eat. Come on, let's eat!" She led me to the chair.

It's Christmas Eve and I was awaken by Lisa's laughter.
"Hahaha!" Lisa laughed while looking at her phone.
"Why are you laughing baby?" I asked her with one eye opened.
"I'm so sorry I woke you. It's Rosie, she said she can't wait anymore and she's going to propose to Jisoo tonight after their dinner," Lisa turned her body to cuddle me.
"Oh my goodness! Finally! It's so hard to keep it a secret from Jisoo!" I replied.
Lisa kissed the top of my head, "I'm sorry for waking you. Let's sleep awhile more?"

We opted for room service to avoid the crowd outside. The city looks beautiful through the window. I could hear the buzz outside in my head.
"May I have this dance?" Lisa offered her hand after we finished our dessert.
I smiled up at Lisa and gave her my hand and we started to slow dance to the music playing in the background.
"I'm so happy to be here with you babe," Lisa leaned her head on mine.
I lift my face and kissed her, "I love you."
<Ding Dong!>
The door bell had to ruin it.
Lisa went to open the door and when she returned, I saw Rose and Jisoo smiling widely.
"She said 'yes'!!!" Rose announced.
"Congratulations!!" Lisa and I said together.
"We brought a bottle of champagne to celebrate and countdown to Christmas together," Jisoo popped the bottle and poured 4 glasses.
"Cheers!" We clinked our glasses.
"So, future Mrs Parks or Mrs Kims?" Lisa asked.
"Parks! Since Kim will be taken by the both of you," Rose replied without thinking. "Oowwwww!!" I kicked her from under the table and I glared at her.
"What happened to you?" Lisa asked worriedly. I did kick quite hard by accident.
Rose tried to recover fast, "Sudden cramp in my calf muscle.." She mouths an apology when Lisa turned to refill her glass.
"You're weak Rosie. Hahaha" Lisa teased.
Phew. Rose almost gave me away. Jisoo on the other hand was still in her own bubble.

"Babe, I need to head to the lobby to pass Mr Cole a file, I will be right up, okay?" I received a text from him saying that he took the wrong file by accident the other day.
"Alright," Lisa replied and I left the room.
"Hello Mr Cole, here's the file," I walked up to him handing him the file in my hand.
"Thank you Miss Kim," He smiled. "I was wondering if you would like to grab a cup of coffee with me?"
"I..."
He stepped forward, "I guess I haven't been obvious enough? I like you Miss Kim. I know you have a girlfriend, forget her."
I began to fume with his words but before I could react, he pulled me to him, planting a kiss straight on my lips. I was in so much shock that I couldn't move.
"Jennie?" It's Lisa.
I pushed him away and turned to her voice. I have let him kiss me longer than I should. In fact, I should have just pushed him away when he pulled me towards him.
What I saw broke me. Lisa stood there slipping my phone out of her hand and hitting the floor, frozen, her expression completely broken and hurt.
"Lisa..." I called out but she turned and ran. I quickly grabbed my phone from the ground and ran towards the direction she took off to. I think she went back up to our suite.
I hear sobs the moment I entered. Lisa stood up and walked away when I approached her.
"Lisa, wait. It's not what you think," I pulled her to face me. Her face covered in tears.
"Then tell me what to think!" Lisa raised her voice. "You let him kiss you. You didn't even move. You really did forget me when he said that huh?"
Heartbroken was written all over her face.
"I could never forget you. I froze, I wasn't expecting him to kiss me," I tried explaining.
"I need some air," Lisa walked towards the door.
"Baby, please don't walk away, I'm sorry..." I pulled Lisa into me.
"What are you sorry for?" I knew Lisa wanted me to know what I was actually apologizing for.
"I'm sorry I let him into my personal space. I should have pushed him away the moment he stepped closer. I'm sorry I went blank, I was really in shock. I would never hurt you intentionally. Baby, please, forgive me," I pleaded.
"I forgive you. I'm sorry I was so quick to accuse you. Please, don't hurt me, I... I won't be able to take it," Lisa said with fresh tears spilling from her eyes.
"I'm always yours, only yours," I pulled her in.
<Ring! Ring!>
It's Mr Cole.
I started to rage again.
"Listen Mr Cole, I'm not interested. And I'll be terminating our contract. I'll incur the cost," I said immediately without letting him speak first.
"No, don't. It's my fault. I've pulled out from this project, someone else will be taking over. I don't expect you to forgive me, but please, I hope you will continue with it."
"I'll think about it," And I hung up. I've given too much attention to him.
"Continue with the project babe, I don't want you to have to pay millions because of me," Lisa said.
"I'll be paying for my mistakes. I should have never let me or the company be involved with a person with such character," I replied.
Lisa stayed silent. Something is bothering her.
"Lisa? Baby?" I shifted so that I could see her face.
"Talk to me, something's on your mind," I pressed.
"I... It's stupid.." She said softly.
"I would still want to know," I replied caressing her cheek.
"I'm scared. I'm scared that one day you'll regret being with me. We're so different.." Lisa said cautiously.
"But we have so much in common too," I cut in.
"I know. It's just.. Am I the type of person you want to be with?" Lisa asked. I wanted to assure her so much, and I felt I had to answer her correctly. But I didn't know what the right answer was.
So I spoke from my heart, "Lisa, I didn't even know what was the type of person I would fall in love with before you. Now, the only thing I know is that I can't do without you. It probably doesn't make sense but you are my only type of person."
Lisa was quiet and I could see her processing my words, "I love you Jennie, so much. It scares me sometimes."
"A life without you scares me more," I brought the other hand to cup her face.
"Kiss me," Lisa whispered
She didn't need to repeat. That kiss felt like the time my mother told me I had to return to get married. Despite the uncertainty of the future, we love each other deeply.
"Lisa, I want to take you somewhere tomorrow, come with me?"
"I'll go anywhere with you." Lisa smiled softly.
