Into Your Heart!
Y/n's Pov:
I'm so tired. I just want to-No, stay awake!
I gotta finish this project for Hatsume. I haven't been sleeping well lately, I'm not sure why but I just can't.
My brain keeps dreaming of weird things. Last night I dreamt of a dark staircase, stairs that lead down but I can never reach the bottom. I woke up and didn't go back to sleep after that.
It's been like that for about two weeks, I don't know what's wrong with me. I don't know why they started randomly but now they won't stop. I'm going to tell Eraserhead after school, maybe he knows how to get them to stop.
My eyelids feel heavy, I'm just gonna close- "Y/n!" I quickly opened my eyes and looked at who called for me. Mina and the guys just walked in with big smiles on their faces.
"Hey, guys," I rubbed my eyes, hoping they would stay open. "Hey, we just wanted to check up on you."
I lifted a brow. "Checkup?" Sero nodded. "Yeah you've been spending a lot of time in here we barely get to see you nowadays." That's right, I kinda stopped going to class.
Not because I don't want to go it's just I'm having so much fun here. I still do my work and Eraserhead doesn't seem to mind but I forgot I have friends now, friends that want to hang out constantly.
"I'm sorry. I lose track of time when I'm in here." Mina playfully sniffled a bit and wiped her nose. "Y/n you're too nice for your own good." I laughed at her dramatic attitude.
"Yeah yeah. Anyway, what's been going on lately?" They took that as an invitation to sit around and tell me everything I missed. I don't mind it though, I just went back to work and listen to them as they spoke.
As I worked they spoke about our classmates and that's when it dawned on me. "By the way where's Bakugo?" When I asked that I saw a small smile on Kirishima's face.
Weird.
"He said he had to do something, didn't tell us what though." Oh, I'm kinda sad he's not here but I shouldn't be. He's probably doing something important, still, I wish he was here.
I shook it off and put on a smile. "Oh okay." I yawned and stood there to try and wake myself up, their words faded and everything became dark.
Wait what- I think I fell asleep.
Bakugo's Pov:
Alright, I got everything set I just need to- "Bakugo!" What does he want?
Shitty came over and sat down in the seat next to me. "What?" Kirishima looked out of breath but spoke anyway.
"And then all of sudden she passes out! We don't know what to do so we- where are you going?!" I quickly got up from my seat and walked out of the classroom.
That idiot, what did she do to herself now? I sped walk to Recovery girl's office. That idiot better be fine or else.
I didn't bother knocking and walked in. When I did I saw my weird cat-loving teacher and the old lady. I didn't pay attention to what they were asking me.
Instead, I looked around until I saw her, sleeping on the bed. I went over and sat next to the bed and just looked at her.
She's peaceful...wrong she snorted in her sleep.
I couldn't help but smile just a bit. "Bakugo." I immediately changed the smile to a grumpy face. "What?" He sighed and shook his head. "What are you doing here?"
I turned back to Y/n and answered him. "Heard she passed out, thought I'd come here to tell her she's stupid."
I'll do that later, for now, I'm just...I don't know. I'm happy that she's okay. That's a weird thing to think or even say.
"Bakugo." If he doesn't leave me the fuck alone. "What?!" He gave me this weird look it was, chilling. "What are your intentions with Y/n?"
The fuck is he on?
Y/n's Pov:
I woke up and groaned.
Why are beds so comfortable? I feel wide awake now so that's good. I sat up and stretched. "Fucking finally. You sleep like a damn mule."
I quickly put my arms down and looked over at Bakugo who had his elbow on the armrest and his hand holding his face up.
Why is he here? "Shut up I was tired." He snorted and moved his arm to his thigh. So now he was manspreading with both of his arms on his thighs.
"The fuck happened?" He asked. I sighed and told him I haven't been sleeping well. "You get like nightmares or something?"
I shrugged. "Sometimes, other times I try sleeping but then I just can't. My eyes won't close and my body gets uncomfortable. Maybe there's something wrong with me?" I said that as a joke but he didn't find it funny.
"There's nothing wrong with you, everyone's got sleeping problems." I looked at him curiously. "Do you?" He wasn't expecting me to ask but he answered anyway.
"Yeah so?" I wanted to know more and I think he realized that. He told me back in his first year he was taken by the same people who took me.
He rested his arm on the armrest and his hand on his hand. "But yeah, it's whatever now but that shit still keeps me up sometimes."
I thought Bakugo was cool before but now I know he's amazing. "How did you get over it?" He looked away. "I didn't. I just bury that shit deep inside and take it out during training."
I don't know why but I grabbed his hand and held it. I'm not sure what I was supposed to say but I just said what I was thinking.
"Still, I think you're incredible for just going through that. I practically fell apart when I was told what happened to me but you use that to make yourself better! I think that's just amazing in itself."
He just stared at me, did I say something wrong?
It was silent but it wasn't an awkward silence. I like when I and Bakugo just sit and don't talk, it's very relaxing and I feel safe.
"Bakugo, thanks." His face was blank but his tone was confused. "For what?" I shrugged a little, keeping the smile my lips had formed. "For being here."
He just sighed. "Yeah, whatever. Just don't go passing out again. I got better shit to do than to sit here for two fuckin hours." I laughed. "Sure you do."
He shook his head at me but I could see his lips curve a bit into a smile.
Aizawa's Pov:
"What are your intentions with Y/n?" I had to ask, I'm her guardian right now so I have to know.
I watched his face go from annoyed to a bit of softness. "She's messed with my head too much. I finally did something about it." In translation, he asked her out on a date.
I saw this coming, I'm not blind I see the way he and Y/n act around each other. I hate it- no, I loath it. But at least it wasn't Kaminari who asked her out, at that point, I would have to make him 'disappear'.
"You know what she's been through, you know what-" He cut me off and yelled. "None of that matters!" I was surprised by his reaction.
"None of that shit was her fault, so it doesn't matter." He doesn't know the rest of the story, but I can't bring myself to tell him.
She has to do that on her own and then they can decide what happens to them. For now, all I can say is-
"If you break her heart I'm expelling you." He didn't pay any attention to that. "Whatever. Leave, I want to talk to her alone."
Bakugo...I'm glad she was the one you let into your heart.
