I was over the moon on homecoming night. Bruce was beside me as we walked in, along with Finney, Donna, Robin, Amy, and Gwen.
The gym was decorated beautifully, with different strings of decoration handing off threads and lights of all colors.
Bruce took my hand in his and brought me to a table.
"You look gorgeous skye" He said to me.
"You don't look too bad yourself" I smile back at the boy.
A slow song came on through the speakers. Bruce took my hand again. As we swayed to the music, I felt all sorts of emotions. We've gone through so much in the past couple of months. I lost my brother. I got kidnapped. Bruce got kidnapped. I killed someone.
And yet here I was, my homecoming night of freshmen year.
"You're exclusive" I say to Bruce.
"You used that wrong"

I cannot believe it took me 10 MONTHS to write this book. Fuckin crazy. I'm so thankful for all of your support, be on the lookout for my next book, Dying Light (tate langdon)! It is not out yet, but I am currently prewriting it and the intro will be out shortly!
