Yuko and Lucas along with Mukuro sat in my room just discussing but most of the thinking was done by Ciel, me and Lucas.
Lucas: There's no way that we won't be involved in the war anymore.
Darren: Indeed. With the DEM out for my life and Issac potentially having a Monarch helping him. There's no way that we won't be involved in this war anymore, I can say that there would be either commanders or generals backing him up.
Yuko: Which means that.
Darren: Yes, there's no way that if the DEM is out for my blood. They wouldn't have a powerful backup like the Monarchs. Issac knows his limits, there's no way that he would charge into a war that he knows that it's a zero percent to win.
A shadow suddenly covered the house which Yuko, Lucas, Mukuro and I ran towards. Kurumi, who just returned, also ran with us. The airships of Deus Ex Machina, a power far beyond humanity's reach, casted huge silhouettes overlooking the city below as they tore through the clouds. They looked like destroyers heralding the apocalypse, reminiscent of if the king of hell had descended down to bring ruin onto the fertile earth.
Darren: It's here.
That's right. Almost all of the ships own by DEM had gathered around the skies of Tengu City in order to grasp against Ratatoskr.
Darren: Yuko, Lucas. Are you prepared to die with me?
Yuko: Never been more certain.
Lucas: At least Shido stands more of a chance since he has a copy of Micheal from you now.
Darren: Which means that our priority isn't Shido. It should be ourselves. *summons fire*
We teleported towards Fraxinus where the commander, Kotori Itsuka sat there with a lollipop in her mouth as she smirked at seeing the five of us.
Kotori: Everyone from DEM has come welcome you, Shido, Darren. Seems like you're quite popular.
Darren Ahhh......I'm moved to the point of tears. But unfortunately, this doesn't quite fit my tastes. Which means, we have to send them home don't we?
Lucas: Of course. This is our war as well now. I will help. Get the guns ready.

Darren: Lucas, Yuko. Follow me.

The three of us jumped off of Fraxinus while I summoned Hurwhill who carried the three of us towards DEM. I phoned Kotori really quickly.
Darren: "Kotori, you sounded so cool back there. If I had the chance, I would've done the same."

Darren: "Until the enemy shows itself, ARISE THE FALLEN WHO HAS LOST ALL BUT THEIR LOYALTY! Will be taken care of by my commanders and solders alike. Which means that you won't be on your own"

Darren: "Of course"
The three of us through the help of Hurwhiill, was able to arrive at the Fraxinus once more. Where we situated ourselves on three chairs.
Kotori: Thank you for your attendance, I can say that your soldiers are fighting against DEM and the incoming new army force right?
Darren: Yes, they are more than enough until the true enemy shows themselves.
Lucas: The ice soldiers are also helping the Undead Army to prevent them from overworking themselves.

Darren: Kotori, if I allowed them to use the powers of my Shadow Bolt. It could instantly render those Bandersnatch useless. But Issac has an unknown enemy by his side, who knows what has he in stock for us? Lucas, Yuko and I maybe strong. But we are not invincible.
Darren: (Ciel, what is the enemy number right now? Compared to our own forces)
Ciel: (Out by a large margin. The only reason why the army is holding against its own right now. Is because of the constant regeneration that is supplied by your cursed energy and mana from Yuko. If this keeps up, the Monarch's army would win if we do not do something about it.)
Darren: (What do you suggest we do?)
Ciel: (Master, you could just jump there and defeat the army, it would have no difficulty since you are at commander level already. But, one risk is that your stamina would run too low to face the unknown enemy)
Darren: (So you mean that we fight the unknown enemy?)
Ciel: (The moment that you find and fights the unknown enemy, your cursed energy and mana would be too low to fight. Which means that you are stuck in a deadlock.)
Darren: (I have an idea. The moment that we are about to fight the enemy, we retract the soldiers while it restores my cursed energy and mana.)
Ciel: (Good idea, but the enemy numbers would still be too large. There are soldiers made from lightning, wolf soldiers, poisonous goo soldiers and DEM wizards. This war would be the third biggest war this planet has ever seen.)
Darren: (If I and the light Monarch were to have a all out war, along with Lucas against the fire Monarch and Yuko against the Iron Body Monarch. What place would that war get?)
Ciel: (That war would become the biggest war the world has ever seen since since six monarchs would be facing off in one planet. A summoner against a Monarch, never have I seen a summoner work with a Monarch before, they are mortal enemies. But you three are great exceptions.)
Darren: (Thanks for the praise. But it's time to get to work.)
Ciel: (Of course)
Darren: The Monarchs won't wait for my army to die by themselves. Sooner or later, their commanders will join in the battle which means that we would lose if they joined. At best, Yuko, Lucas and I can take out one commander.
Kotori: That's fine. But. We need your help, with the overwhelming strength and power that the enemy right now has over us. You three's army is what is holding them back. We can only do this war with yout help.
Darren: That is to be expected, the enemy's army is stronger than what your usual spirit is. My soldiers are defeating wizards and Nibelcols left and right. But the hard time is the enemy's soldiers. They are only surviving because of my ability to allow them to instantly regenerate.
Kotori: However, the only ones that can turn this situation. Besides those three. Are you guys.
She turned around to face everyone while I just smiled.
Kotori: I understand it is truly distorted for the commander of an organization dedicated to protecting Spirits to ask for assistance. I'm truly embarrassed of that. But please. Please lend us your strength. As the commander of Ratatoskr...

Kotori: Darren, DEM's realiser manifestation device originally had to be controlled from the outside using the human brain. But by tracing her brain, they succeeded in incorporating an autonomous control function in the realizer manifestation device.
Darren: So you're saying that she is basically being controlled by DEM.
Kotori: If we can catch her, can you write a jamming code for Ashcroft·β by analyzing her brainwave data? Or even better, disable it conpletely?
Darren: Lucas can do that. He's one of the best person I know with a computer.
Kotori: Lucas, are you able to do it?
Lucas: Possible, Origami also said it before right? Ashcroft hated DEM. So why is she soding with them now? But Yuko would have to work woth me on this one.
Yuko: Sure.
Kotori: Still, it's based on the premise that we can successfully capture Artemisia. Her magical power is only second to Ellen. Even with all of the Spirits here, it wouldn't be easy to capture her. Darren could possibly, but from the looks of this war. The unknown enemy moght show themselves soon.
Darren: I have an idea about that matter.
Shido: Idea?
Darren: Origami said that she hated DEM, which means that her memories were altered. That's why, Origami. You need to help with this. Everyone, please trust the three of us.
I spoke out the battle plan in an indifferent manner. The Spirits all gave a show of approval. Kotori seemed to be in thought for a while, but not much longer, she raised her face as if having made a decision.
Kotori: I understand. But be careful.
Darren: Of course. Now, Lucas, Yuko. Shall we begin the real war?
