Darren POV:
I awoke with Kurumi cuddling onto my right arm and Velzard snuggling on the left while Wiz and Kocho was peacefully sleeping beside Kurumi and Velzard. I ever so carefully got out of bed and teleported myself towards the Comico where so many people were holding signs that said Honjo on them. I swallowed some spit while waiting for Shido and ate some donuts that I bought from a nearby store.
I located Shido waiting at their stand and walked over to them while drinking some milkshake and Nia selling her doujinshi.
Nia: Looks like it's not even a contest.
Darren: It's not, because you have already made a name for yourself whereas we haven't even touched a manga before.
Shido: GOJO!!! YOU CAME!
Darren: Yo, sorry I didn't find you guys before, I was buying a milkshake neaby and bought some figurines and manga.
Kotori: *smirks*
I ignored that smirk while walking away to grab some food.
Darren: I can sense you, get out of here. Lucas and Zero-Two.
Lucas: Seems like my best friend knows me best huh?
Darren: Why would I be called your best friend then?
Zero-Two: Darren Satoru. Pleasure to see you again.
Darren: You say that, but I just met you today when we were having breakfast. You broke into my house and decided to live there while I was eating donuts.
Zero-Two: What will you do now?? Seeing that you took the side of Shido Itsuka?
I looked at Shido's stand, where they were pressuring people to buy their manga. I sighed and decided to not walk over there yet.
Darren: No idea, I was just gonna sleep through the day or come here for manga. Besides, if someone makes a move that I don't like. I would stop them and kill them.
Lucas: Sounds like some shit you would say, if Kurumi was the one to make move, then what would you do?
Darren: I would take her side. Even if she were to kill, I told her before that I would stick by her side no matter what.
Zero-Two: Aww, sound so romantic, you should add that to your notebook of flirting.
Darren: Firstly, how did you find that? Secondly I burnt it yesterday.
Zero-Two: Should we visit Honjo? To buy a copy of her manga? I heard from Wiz that her manga is really good.
Darren: As long as you don't cause trouble then fine. Lucas, do you have some spare money?
Lucas: Yeah, $1000. Ima go buy milkshakes with this.
Darren: Sure. During that time, Zero-Two, go on a walk with me.
Zero-Two: Sure.
I started walking while sipping my milkshake with Zero-Two following close behind me.
Darren: Why did you join the spirit moons? Because I couldn't sense that much evil inside you which is why I asked Kirito to knock you out instead of killing you like I did with the other moons.
Zero-Two: Well, I wasn't a spirit moon to be begin with. Heck, I wasn't even a spirit. I was a test subject if you would say. This is why I have these horns.
Darren: (Interesting)
Zero-Two: Then, I found someone I loved so much, he also felt the same. I was so tempted to protect him every time, that I lost my humanity and became a spirit. I once found out that my darling broke up with me. I lost control and killed him under that influence. I was then found by a general of the Light Monarch. I fell in love with that man, Asmodeus.
I twitched at that name while veins popped on my head.
Darren: (ASMODEUS!!! WHAT?!)
Naruto: (Master, I am ashamed of what I have done to you in my past life. Please forgive me, I will perform any task that you ask for.)
Darren: (What did you do to her? TELL ME NOW!!)
Zero-Two: Asmodeus was a really kind man when we first met, he was just as kind as my darling when we first met as well. However, things started to change. He started abusing me, insulting me and basically doing anything that a boyfriend shouldn't do. I couldn't fight back though due to how strong he was. I just ran from one day. I had enough, I just ran until he couldn't find me anymore. The old spirit king, then found me just casually sleeping on the streets and offered me to join his spirit moons. I was so weak and depressed that I just joined without any second thoughts. I was forced to kill people and berserk spirits. Even innocents, I thought about their remarks so many times that I almost went crazy because of it.
Darren: I know this may not mean much to you, Zero-Two. But Reborn Naruto.
A shadow Naruto then appeared out of my shadow, in a dogeza while I stared at him and him muttering his sorry.

Naruto: I am so sorry, Zero-Two. For abusing you and hurting you mentally and physically at the same time. I was just too stressed by my place as the general of the group. I just vent it out on you, sorry.
Zero-Two: Darren, how did you?
Darren: I fought with him and killed him, he killed me first but I arose from the dead and killed him back. It makes no sense but just deal with it.
Naruto: AS EXPECTED OF MY LIEGE!! TO BE ABLE TO RISE FROM THE DEAD AND KILL ME IN RETURN!! WHAT A SUPREME LORD!
Darren: *looks at him with cold eyes* Did I say you can speak? You punishment will be determined by if Zero-Two forgives you or not. If she forgives you then no punishment will be given.
Zero-Two: Seeing you turned into Darren's soldier is already a punishment for you. You can't even rest after death, so I forgive you for everything you did to me. Even though it was because of Darren.
Zero-Two then hugged me, with tears still streaming out of her eyes. Seeing how her torturer was killed and turned into one of her ally's soldier. I just patted her back while she cried and Naruto was still saying sorry.

Darren: (This wasn't in the plan but I guess this is fine)
Lucas: YO!! GOT THE MILKSHAKE!! *sees the two of them hugging* Please do not tell me you are getting another one.
Darren: No idea. Anyways, we should go to Shido's stand and see what they are doing right now.
We walked back and saw the competition was high still and my phone just rung with Miku sending a instagram notification. To everyone about a handshake event that she issued out.
Darren: Why did. You know what? Nevermind. Nia, I would like one manga please.
Nia: Sure. $500 yen.
Darren: *hands her the 500 yen while sipping my milkshake*
Kotori: What are you doing? Why are you buying her manga?
Darren: Chill out, Wiz wanted this manga so badly that she asked me to buy it. Besides I bought three of your mangas.
The wave of people immediately came while stomping on Lucas. Zero-Two and I just watched him and laughed. I can see the wave of people wanting to shake Miku's hand for so long. I just ate some donuts before listening to what Shido and Nia was saying and Nia as well as her friend's touching reunion which I decided not to disturb with. After the competition, Zero-Two and Lucas went home, while I followed Nia where she sat on a fountain reading our manga.
Nia: Hmm, I see. A tale about Shido Itsuka saving spirits. It's better than what I thought it would be but still.
Darren: Good book huh?
Nia: WHAT!?
Darren: Chill out, I just followed you to see your reaction. I thought of the storyline by the way.
Nia: You thought of the storyline huh? It packs too much in though, with eight spirits, there're not enough pages to like the main character.
Darren: Sorry, we were on a time rush.
Nia: Not bad though, considering that you guys went on a time rush.
Nia then summon Raziel and tapped on the page, revealing how hard everyone worked. Despite knowing that they can only resort to tricks in order to beat the manga artist.
Nia: The whole story was true huh? Even the things he and you said. They were all true?
Darren: I may not have much interaction with those guys, but I can vouch that what they say are the truth.
Nia and I then walked over to Shido's group, she still had tears in her eyes while we walked.
Shido: Nia. What did you think of our manga?
Nia: Hmm, it's alright. But it's a bit naive to think that I would fall for you just because of this.
Darren: You shouldn't lie. I told this to Kurumi before and I will say it again. You shouldn't lie as it isn't convincing people. Maybe you can convince Shido, but not me.
Nia: Shut up. Still, since it moved me a little, I'm fine with giving you another shot.
Shido: Huh?
Nia: For crying out loud! I'll go on another date with you. Even a double date with Gojo and his girlfriend would suffice.
Darren: I think my girlfriends would reject that idea as I would have to bring all four of them so...
Shido: WAIT FOUR!!!
Darren: Yeah, interesting combo. A spirit, a undead, a ice dragon and a spirit hunter.
Shido: I won't ask another question about it.
Nia: Don't ignore me.
Darren/Shido: Sorry.
Nia: Anyways, if you are a real man, then make it count.
Shido smiled and the spirits cheered, I just looked at the sunset with Naruto informing me about everything.
Naruto: (The plan is almost ready, may I ask my lord? Why were you planning to do this?)
Darren: (Why make the DEM my enemy when I can become the boss? If I can have DEM, then nothing can stop me.)
Naruto: (I hope that this does not make you a bad person)
Darren: (This won't, unless DEM had already planned to kill Shido. I won't interfere. I will be their technology advisor and their manipulator behind the shadows)
Shoto: (Is this why you have been speaking to Issac lately with a fake name?)
Darren: (Indeed)
Nia: It's too early to celebrate. But boy-
Everyone stopped their movements and stared at Nia, who continued to speak. She couldn't though, as darkness satrted to appear behind her
Darren: (Plan is working, Issac, you fool. I won't be able to save you now)
Kirito: (What shall we do? Our lord, we could stop her if we were ordered)
Darren: (Just do what you want? But stay inside my shadow)
Shadow Soldiers: (Yes, my lord)
Darren: (Now, Shido Itsuka, how would you? Deal with the inverse? I won't stop you, but do show me a good time as the manipulator of DEM)
