It was silent. Hyunjin broke the eye contact and ruffled Felix's hair which felt so soft on his hands, And definitely took the poor boys breath
"So...it's good..." Changbin mumbled totally confused, still believing he must be seeing things, oh, he is not the only one all were in shock
"I need to go now, can i?" Hyunjin stood up and let out looking at chan who smiled, he nodded and hyunjin sighed rolling his eyes back he felt like he was coming out of a jail
Chan stood up and raised his brows, "it's getting dark you all should go home" he said
"No! Wait..." Minho said stopping Everyone on their way even hyunjin who groaned
Minhos eyebrows meet as he frowns, and crossed his arms on his chest, his eyes narrowed "are you two a thing?" He asked
He heard hyunjin scoff and he went near him "that doesn't look like nothing to me?"
"Hyung-" Felix tried to handle his brother but hyunjin had made him stop his word
"We are not a thing minho, I'm not interested in him and nor interested in dating" hyunjin told, he continued on his way after pushing minhos hand
"Minho, I don't think he has something going on" changbin told and Minho just nodded still looking skeptical
They all left, jisung and seungmin left together, chan went somewhere and changbin said he was going to take his sister shopping
Minho and Felix got in a car and as soon as they did, Minho turned around to face Felix who flinched
Minho held Felix's head and tilt his head to both sides to scan something closely, his eyes bored holes into the omegas skin
Felix whined "hyung what are you doing?!"
"Checking for the mated mark"
Felix gasped and slapped minhos hand, "we are not mated!" By this now he was a tomato, his ears red and face red
"It was suspicious, it doesn't look normal between you two at all" Minho denied taking Felix hand and started examining it
"Hyung~ you heard what he said he is not interested in me" although it hurts him to raise hope and then break it again just in minutes "we never even talked" it was half true though, they never talked, not really
"Okay, you don't like him, do you lix?" Minho asked now in a serious and soft tone. Felix bit his lip shaking his head "n-no" he stuttered 'even if I like him he won't like me back' he thought
He shook the feeling deep inside the corner of his heart. Not wanna make his brother ask more questions and basically tell him how he should move on cuz hyunjin is not specifically interested in him
Hyunjin went home, and as soon as he was walking through the leaving room to the stairs which lead him to his big room, his mom called and he clicked his tongue inside turning to face the lady with an irritated face
"W-what happened to your face..?" Her voice loaded with worry as she held hyunjins face in her hand tracing her soft fingers around the bruise careful not to touch the wound more.
"I'm fine mom" hyunjin said
"You got in a fight again? Who even are these guys? Are they bothering you? I'll handle them"
"I can handle them mom, i think i already did, you don't have to worry. I'm absolutely fine" he nodded his head and stepped back, giving a small smile to his mother "I'm going to my room" he said and walked through the Stairs
"Oh god! Who's child is this! You need to date! Find a girl or a boy"
Hyunjin raised his brows and looked at his mother in disbelief, looking down to her from the stairs who was looking at him with a a furious face, crossing her hands as she glared
"The topic? You are going out of topic mom. Where would you bring that?"
"Oh because my son is turning twenty two next year and he has never dated anyone, and I want to see your children's before I die"
"Mom!"
"What? Don't give me your lame excuse all the time. I'm fixing you a date with my friends daughter"
"What the fuck?"
"Language! I don't care anymore or bring someone that's a choice for you" she said and moved to sit on the couch with her heels tapping on the tiles loudly
Hyunjin sighed "day can never be this shitty" and went up to his room.
It was getting dark, he took a shower and wore his black ripped jeans paired with a rusty black shirt and covered it with a denim jacket. He styled his wet hair not drying it cuz he wasn't in a mood. He picked up his mobile phone and left his room and went through the hallways to the stairs and then to the big door, he yelled "I'll be late mom!" And left. His mother was shouting for him but he didn't care
He took his black Koenigsegg and drift away from his home to the road he was too familiar with. As he went to that place and directly went to the garage, he parked the car and got off. He went inside and took a can of beer then came back to the garage where all the different expensive cars were in the line waiting to be picked. He got in the blue Hennessey venom GT, smiling at the way that car roared when he started. He slowly left the garage to the track way. It was silent, with no cheering, no crowd, no smell of drugs, alcohol, no smell of petrol, and no friends, nothing was there just empty tracks and fields but he oddly likes it.
Drank the whole can of beer, doesn't even feel a bit dizzy from it. He accelerated still his one leg on the breaks. His car made a loud sound of gushing and tired screeching on the asphalt, he shot the breaks and the car drift ahead only Dust left behind.
He didn't mind the speed, he just drifted, boosting the speed more and more. He gripped the steering wheels turning it whenever the turn came, not lowering the speed even though the slope and turns seems to be too curved. He just wants to feel it, the bliss, joy he gets when he won against the curvy roads. He felt pleased.
His mind was blank, no fighting, no serim, no limit of his speed, no Felix.
Just wind on his face from the slightly open window, the immense speed, and the taste of beer, just this was feeling like paradise.
He took five laps already but his heart doesn't feel full of excitement, he slowed his car and just when he did a car came beside his, he crinkled his face and lowered his window and sighed
"What are you doing here?" He asked
"Thought you could be here" Chan replied "wanna race?"
Hyunjin looked at chan and smirked, accelerating and changing gears, he drifted, Chan doing the same. Hyunjin was going and going, Chan took the lead somewhere but he lost it again and they did four laps more.
They stopped at the point where they always end the race. Chan got off his car and chuckled "I can't compete with you!" He said
Hyunjin stood beside him "no one can" he told and Chan nodded kinda feeling sad and happy at the same time, he laughed and patted hyunjins shoulder
"Wanna smoke?" Hyunjin asked and who was chan to say no?
They both leaned into chans car and looked at the empty field. The time passed and both just appreciated the smoke and cold weather. It was chilly but it was acceptable.
Untill chan said something "I asked joengin to go on a date" hyunjin grinned at that "took you long"
"Hmm" Chan hummed "he said, he was waiting for me to ask and that waiting phase hurts him, a lot"
Chan just continued knowing hyunjin was listening "i thought he was arranged with serim so he doesn't wanna date me"
"But you knew it was arranged"
"Yeah but i misunderstood until I get to know serim and how messed up he is"
Hyunjin laughed "he is in a good place now"
Chan laughed but began again "He said he is happy, and I felt happier than I ever was, to have him beside me feels like a dream come true. He just makes me feel different and so warm, so lovable. I always thought this dating thing, committing to someone is weird and was Never gonna work out for me but I was wrong, loving someone and giving our everything to someone is worth everything than making them wait and hurt them in the process"
"Okay..? Why are you telling me this?"
"Can't i tell you how I feel?"
"Of course, you can, but I feel it's aimed at me..."
chan doesn't want to confront hyunjin about peach and their moment just today. He doesn't know what is going on between them but he just knew, hyunjin is possessive over Felix and that makes sense since his behavior and have feeling that hyunjins crush isn't one-sided. The way they looked at each other today was giving lovey vibes, so much love yet the tension between them.
Chan Was not so subtly intending it
"For you? No no it wasn't. I know you don't want relationships and don't want to be loved by someone definitely not by the one who seems to be longing for you or might be intimidated of you and care for you"
"Okay you are talking about felix, Chan" hyunjin glared
Chan shook his head, his hand coming in front if him "Wahh, no I wasn't. I know you are not interested in him like that, and he won't either he seems to be getting close with jaesung, and I think he likes Felix" Chan stopped as hyunjin face tightened in anger, and his eyes went dark. Chan smirked internally.
"I mean who doesn't? lix is all Everyone dream of right? Not me though, I have my innie and not you definitely nah nah"
"How do you know that guy?"
"Who jaesung? He is in Student council he is volunteering in the programs cuz his grades are low, he is a good guy and they will make a good pair"
Chan saw how hyunjins eyes narrowed as he puffed a cloud of smoke and how his hands clenched into a fist "could you shut up, I was having a good time"
"Good time? You were committing suicide as what I saw, you need to race under the speed limits Hyun"
"Do I care?"
