The reason why I picked you was because of that darkness inside your heart. The darkness has so much potential if paired with my powers.
Darren: Sounds tempting but nah, I don't want to give up on my emotions so I will be out of here.
Ayanokoji: You're sacred, Darren.
I stopped in my tracks and turned around, facing down while doing so.
Darren: What am I scared of?? Tell me.
Ayanokoji: You're scared that Shido might steal you beloved away. You're sacred that Kurumi would abandon you and you're scared that you would return back to the same as before. So why don't you just get rid of that? Why don't you just throw away all of that fear away and replace it with something more?
I stopped walking and looked back towards him.
Darren: Got me hooked, but don't change my looks, I wanna look just like before.
Ayanokoji: No can do. Don't you want to discard your old life with something new for once?
Darren: Haaaaah, just get this shit over and done with. I am prepared for your powers.
Ayanokoji: As you wish. (I have never met such a competent vessel before. Kiriya, you chose the best vessel ever. If he didn't have such a dark heart, all of the monarchs would've been compatible with him)
After what seemed like days or even decades despite it only being 8 hours. I finally was able to receive all of Ayanokoji's knowledge and even his looks. *looks in a mirror*
Darren: Damn, I look swag.
Ayanokoji: First time I ever heard someone complementing me about me looking swag.

I shook his hand I fell into the eternal void along with Ayanokoji sensei turning into dust. I awoke inside my room and I looked at myself in the mirror while changing into my Astral Dress.
Darren: Astral dress still looks the same. Detach.
I dismissed my astral dress before stretching for a bit before going down for breakfast.
Wiz: Oh hello, Darren-Chan breakfast is-
She dropped her fork at my new appearance.
Wiz: Who are you??
Darren: Does the name my personal arch lich ring a bell??

She gave me a quick kiss on the cheek and left, I grabbed my school bag, switched on my usual poker face and stuffed the cigarettes in my pocket and left for school. The moment I arrived at school. I took a quick puff of my cigarettes while girls looked at me with awe and started admiring me. Normally I would've started flirting but after those hellish training with Ayanokoji Sensei, I walked over to the classroom with people whispering at each other.
E1: Is he a transfer student? He looks so hot.
E2: I don't know. But after the transfer of Gojo I think he's the only guy that matches his looks.

I walked towards the classroom and sat on my seat still holding up my poker face.

Not dropping my poker face I replied to the extra.
Darren: Oh, I'm not a new student here, don't worry.
Kurumi seemed to be a bit ticked off for me ignoring her.

Darren: Haaaah, sorry, I guess I'll be introducing myself yet again. My name is Gojo Satoru. Kurumi-Chan's boyfriend and Rose's brother.
Everyone EHHHHH, YOU CAN'T BE GOJO!!! HE DOESN'T HAVE A FACE LIKE THAT!!!
E6: Did you get plastic surgery over the week?
Darren: No I didn't. Please stop bothering me.
It appears that Kurumi, Lucas and Rose was still in shock over their "friend/sibling/lover" changing his look without even consulting them. Shido also walked into the classroom at that time and stared at me.
Shido: Itsuka Shido, what's your name?? *while holding out his hand*
Darren: Gojo Satoru. But I thought you already knew. Sad that my friend doesn't even remember me.
Shido and his spirit's eyes and jaws went wide open while I still didn't drop my poker face until Kurumi sat next to me and I gave her a smile. During class, I noticed that Shido keeps staring at an empty seat. Yet that empty seat holds a lot of value. It was the seat of Origami Tobiichi, someone who we tried to save.
Kurumi blushed a little and stared at the whiteboard. During lunch, I grabbed my lunch and headed up towards the rooftop where I grabbed a piece of cigarette out of my pocket and started smoking.
Kurumi POV:
I headed up to the rooftop wanting to eat some lunch when I saw Darren smoking. I hid behind the door as he started talking to himself.
Darren: I will save Origami my ass. In the end it was I who had to deal with the aftermath. No calm down. Remember what Ayanokoji sensei taught you.
My eyes widened so the reason he was smoking was because he failed to save Origami and who is this Ayanokoji sensei he is talking about?? Around the same time Lucas and Rose also watched Darren smoking behind the door who is still mumbling to himself.
Darren: Haaah, I haven't touched these since I was 15. Why did I start smoking again?
Everyone had their eyes wide open again he started smoking when he was 15?? Wait why did he smoke and why does he look like that?? His eyes looked emotionless when he's compared to when he's with us.
Darren: Was it because my girlfriend gave her attention to someone else? Was it she saying the words I wanted to hear more than I wanted my life for a whole 17 years??!! Or was it because, I was scared that Shido would steal her away from me and would leave me just like everyone else did at one point???
I widened my eyes in shock so the cause of him smoking was because of me. I gave too much attention to Shido in which I neglected my own boyfriend. Yet how did his looks change?
Darren: I gotta go thank Ayanokoji Sensei foe giving me a look this swag though. Damn, if he was a lot more like me, he would've started a harem in his lifetime.
Kurumi: /Lucas, you know who is this Ayanokoji sensei he is talking about??/
Lucas: /No clue, what about you? Rose? You've known him since he was born./
Rose: /Never heard of a Ayanokoji sensei before in my life./
Darren: Well, I should eat now, that emotional outburst was great before food. Now it's time to eat.
I slowly backed away from the door, unknowing what happened to Darren, we have to consult him about it after school or just any moment.
After School:
After school, we reached our base of operations while Darren still hasn't appeared.
Kurumi: (Where could he be? Does Wiz know where he is??)
I teleported to Wiz immediately and she was giving Darren a lap pillow where he was sleeping with ease and Wiz just played with his hair while he slept with peace. I called Lucas and Rose immediately when I found her.
Kurumi: <Lucas, Rose I found where Darren is. He's a Wiz's shop come quick.>
The moment I hung up, they instantly teleported into the shop. Both looking at their target who's sleeping peacefully on Wiz's lap.
Lucas: Darren, please get up.
Darren didn't even budge, he just turned around facing the other way ignoring Lucas.
Lucas: GET THE FUCK UP!!!
He yelled so loud that Wiz had to block her ears just to avoid losing an eardrum. Yet Darren just punched Lucas' jaw and complained.
Darren: Fuck you, I'm sleeping.
Kurumi: Darling, please get up, we have to discuss something.
Darren: Ok.
He immediately sat up and Wiz looked a little sad before Darren whispered to her.
Darren: /Awww, is my personal arch lich sad?? Don't worry, I won't go home for a while so I can still sleep on your lap for a while/
Wiz immediately nodded at whatever they were talking about.
Darren: So what is this about??
Rose: We found out that you have been smoking for a while now.
Darren: Aaah, because of that huh? I just started smoking yesterday though and I already burned through a pack. Ironic isn't it? I swore to myself that I wouldn't smoke the moment I find peace and yet here I am, smoking.
Lucas: That's not the only thing we found different, your actions, your words and even your looks are different. What happened?
Darren: I went on a mission with Shido and the mission details you can ask Kurumi. That mission is the reason why I started smoking and after I got hit with a beam, I got summoned to a black room with someone called Ayanokoji Kiyotaka he then gave me his powers.
Wiz: Wait, Ayanokoji Kiyotaka? He's the best of the best manipulators in the general ranks. But he died though. No wonder your new look looks really familiar. But how did that happen?
Darren: Not sure. All I know is just that I look this swag.
Rose: What happened to you though.
She grabbed my hand and I turned around saying.
Darren: I will only say this once. Don't pry into my life.
Everyone stepped back a few steps as Darren gazed upon Rose with those eyes of his before returning back to sleeping on Wiz's lap and she started playing with his hair again.
Rose: What was those eyes? What happened to him?? Kurumi. You know right???
Kurumi: I have no idea what happened to him. This is my first time seeing him like this.
Lucas: But he said to ask you for what happened.
Kurumi: The mission was to help Origami and he followed. What caused his emotional outbreak is unknown.
Darren POV:
The next day.
I was in class yet again and Shido looked a little bit distressed before tapping on my shoulders.
Shido: /Please meet me on the rooftop after school Gojo./
Darren: /Alright./
Shido POV:
Shido: (Why is Origami still an inverse? She should be able to live with her parents now. Didn't Gojo and I change the future already. This is giving me a headache)
Shido: (What could've happened in this five year span?)
Teacher: Today we have a new transfer student.
Someone walked in and that was someone that Gojo, Kurumi and I knew so well.
???: I'm Origami Tobiichi. Nice to meet you everyone.
E1: That dazzling long hair and pure, innocent smile!
Gojo: Nice to meet you too, Origami. I'm Gojo Satoru.
Gojo didn't even smile towards her. Just what happened to him??
Teacher: Let's see, the seat next to Gojo is open. You can sit there.
Origami made her way towards towards Gojo's seat staring at me while she did so.
Origami: You're...
Shido: Eh??
Darren POV:
After school I heard Shido making a phone call to Kotori talking about Origami and I couldn't hear anything from Kotori's side in which I just headed up the rooftop waiting for Shido.
Shido: Gojo, you're here. First off all, I would like to say thank you, for being my ally and friend to save Origami.
Darren: (But Shido, I never considered you an ally nor friend from the start. Not Kotori, not Tohka and not Rose. All humans are nothing but tools and as long as I win in the end I will do whatever it takes. Just to win and my first obstacle to winning, is you.)
Shido: Origami is coming, c'mon lets get up.
Darren: Whatever.
The moment we stood up, Origami arrived with Shido's handbook.
Shido: Sorry for calling you out of the blue. Tobiichi-san
Origami: It's fine. Ummm, Itsuka-san.
Shido: Tobiichi... Weren't you going to say something when you saw me this morning?
Origami: Oh Sorry if that has been bothering you. I was just a little surprised... You look like someone I met a long time ago.
Shido: You mean, we could've...
Origami: No, thats not what I meant. The person that I met was back then was from five years ago. You would've been in been in elementary school then.
Shido's eyes went wide open as he started speaking.
Origami: Besides... that person's friend no longer exists. Five years ago, before my eyes.
She must be talking about me. How ironic, I'm still here you know?? I stopped listening a while ago and Origami went back to class.
Shido: Gojo, did we go wrong somewhere??
Darren: Not sure, but I guess you should go prepare for your date. I have to head back to class as well now.
I returned back to class as Shido and Origami started exchanging notes and I sighed at how easy the class is due to all the knowledge I received from Ayanokoji sensei. I returned to the rooftop just in time to see Shido laying on Kurumi's lap. I returned my eyes to its true form and gave off a dark look as I opened the door and took out a cigarette out of my pocket.
Kurumi: Boys should watch where they sleep Shido.
Darren: And girls should watch who they try to seduce.
I walked over towards them, returning my eyes back to its normal state with a cigarette still in my hands.
Shido: Woah! Kurumi?? Gojo???
Kurumi: Good evening, Shido.
I flicked my cigarette at him before trying to smoke another one. Kurumi took them from my hands and threw it in the bin.
Kurumi: You are not smoking another cigarette today, mister.
Darren: Fine.
Shido had a sneerful look on his face while I stared him down.
Kurumi: My goodness, I'm deeply hurt that you fear me so much. I thought we were comrades who changed the world together.
Darren: You should be. Trying to seduce someone else when you have me.
I fake cried while Kurumi and Shido was still having their little conversation.
Shido: So you remember everything right? Gojo you too?
Kurumi: Yeah, I do remember everything. About the original world and Origami, so does my darling here too.
Shido: I see... Why did things end up this way?? What happened to Origami?
Darren: I don't know and to be frank I don't care. My mission is finished here. However, we could still find out.
Kurumi: Indeed. Zaphkiel.
She changed into her astral dress while I just held up my usual poker face.
Kurumi: If I shoot Yod at her, I can see what sort of this did she live in this world.
Shido: Yod, you're going to use Yod on her right??
Shido: But in that case, why didn't you use Yod when she went inverse?
Darren: How do we even get close to her with the DEM around?? Remember, I had to save you from Ellen.
Shido: A-Anyways. We can find out why she went inverse in this world right?? Please, I need your help. Both of your help.
Darren: Count me out, I already did so much.
Kurumi: Darling, please don't be so rude.
Darren: Ughhh, fine. I will do it this one time.
The door was suddenly kicked open and I turned my face around. Even though I was shocked at that person's arrival. I didn't show it and still remained a poker face.
Shido: Origami?? I can explain... Origami?
She still looked down while I prepared for a fight just in case.
Kurumi: Since we're in this world now, should I say nice to meet you? Though it is quite possible that we met before.
Origami: Spir...it...
As soon as she said that a wave of darkness spurted from behind her and she changed into her inverse astral dress.
Shido: Spirit armour? I knew you had to be devil.
Origami: Satan.
She fired her darkness laser towards us. I rolled towards the left while Kurumi grabbed Shido and ran towards the right.
Kurumi: Wouldn't you say. That's a pretty violent way to greet someone?
Kurumi shot bullet at her. But not before she deflected them all and fired her lasers at Kurumi who couldn't dodge in time and was shot. Even though I knew she wasn't fully dead. My mind went blank as I rushed towards Origami in rage and started punching her on the face.
Darren: DIE!! YOU FILTHY SPIRIT!!!
I started punching her nonstop losing my usual cool demeanour and instead replaced them with rage. Her spirit armour protected her from most of my punches though even with my boosted strength. Whenever she tried firing lasers at me I looked at them with my eyes of ruin and they exploded. Shido had to practically drag me off of her before I went on another rampage. Her spirit armour disappeared and was instead replaced with a normal Origami.
Origami: Huh?? Itsuka? Satoru? What are you two doing at a place like this??
