Darren POV:
I awoke with Wiz still patting my head while Kurumi still snuggled my back.
Darren: Girls cmon, Rose is cooking dinner and I would like to get some get training underway.
Kurumi slowly arose missing the warmth from my back and Wiz from the lack of warmth from her front. I arose and did some stretching before heading out of the room. We departed from Wiz's shop seeing a weird white haired woman walking past the three of us. I sensed a dangerous aura appearing from her yet I ignored it.
???: Beware of Asmodeus, one of the generals. He's not someone we can currently deal with.
I turned my head around immediately yet she had already disappeared.
Kurumi: What happened?
Wiz: Darren, what's going on?
Darren: Asmodeus, a general, someone told that to me. How powerful is he??
Wiz: Even though I was a general Kiriya mainly banned me from fighting and stayed in the second line.
Darren: Asmodeus is a general huh? He should be strong I think but he's someone on the strong side I think. The person said that the current me is not able to deal with him.
Wiz: Truth to be told, im actually the second weakest general due to my lack in experience so there were actually 6 more people stronger than me. There's also a strength gap between me and the general in front me.
Wiz: There was someone called Durandal who was a headless dullahan who was a perverted general and would roll his head under my skirt.
Wiz: The moment I reported to Kiriya though, he made him suffer in the eternal depth of his dungeon later on found escaped. Kiriya actually ordered all three of his commanders to torture him whenever he likes.
Darren: If this Asmodeus guy is that strong, then I have to train more. Cmon, let's go home and think of something.
Darren: I have unlocked some powers of his. I am able to summon at least 5 shadow soldiers.
Wiz: What an improvement Darren-Chan.
Darren: Reborn.
5 shadow soldiers appeared behind me.

Darren: They're weak but they are just as strong as Rose at 50%. Cancel rebirth.
All of the shadow soldiers disappeared back into my shadows. We were walking home until I spotted Lucas as well as Rose and called them over.
Darren: Oi Lucas, I wanna go for a bit of a spar you wanna join?
Lucas: Sure.
I disappeared into my shadows with Kurumi and Wiz while Lucas teleported to somewhere random with Rose. We appeared at a giant iceland with the cold almost freezing my senses.
Darren: Cold, but I should fight at Lucas' home field advantage.
???: Let me help you, Darren-san.
Darren: WHOSE THERE???
Lucas, Wiz, Kurumi and Rose seemed to be confused by my shouting in the distance.
Lucas: Why were you yelling Darren, that seems really sus.
Darren: Shut the hell up, we're not playing Among us.
The voice inside my head decided to take a figure now in front of everyone.
???: I am Anos Voldigoad, nice to meet you, my great, great, great, great grandson.
Darren: What?? What exactly are you.
Everyone seemed shocked at the appearance of this figure who declared himself as Anos Voldigoad
Anos: I'll be straight with you, my grandson, you seem to be close to unlocking the eyes, so I'll help you. Fight me, I won't go easy on you as well. Ever since you were transported into this world. My powers have been on a leash anyways so right now I am only just as strong as you.
Darren: I won't be playing fair you know. Reborn.
5 other shadow soldiers appeared behind me kneeling down to their king.
Anos: Are those weak soldiers supposed to intimidate me or something? I could crush them all in a second and leave you with no mana to do anything.
Darren: You know me so well, it seems like we are blood related by someway or another.
Anos: You better take this training seriously because if you don't you'll die. Also that boy over there, Lucas was it? Another demon lord would like to see you.
Lucas: Who is- AHHHHHH
Another figure appeared out of Lucas's body.
Shinoa Hiragii: It's me Anos-kun.
Anos: Shinoa, I can take it that he's your great, great, great grandson right?
Shinoa: Right on the money, cmon, I have to train you for the scythe right?
Anos: Let me just say this now, despite the fire powers you gained from that woman over there. The powers are still not strong enough for you to control it. Your fire would just end up burning you instead of benefitting from it.
Anos: Be prepared. *zooms towards me* Or this will kill you.
I quickly dodged to the side before summoning my own sword Enma.
Darren: ENMA Hellgates!!!
I summoned a hell-gate behind me boosting my speed while losing the memories from a day ago.
Darren: It's fine, I can just regain those memories when I desummon Enma.
Yet the headache started killing me as I clashed with Anos, him using Venuzdonoa which lost all of its powers and me using Enma.

Anos: Cmon be faster or else I really will kill you.
Darren: Shut up old man. Moon breathing second form. Pearl flower moon gazing.

Anos: Not bad, you've finally began to go serious. I would also go serious then.
Anos: VENUZDONOA I UNSEAL YOU!!!
His speed and strength increased. Each hit on my body that he attacked with Venuzdonoa seemed like my body part was slowly breaking apart.
Darren: MOON BREATHING EIGHTH FORM. MOON DRAGON RINGTAIL.

Anos: You learned breathing techniques huh? Was it from Kiriya? Doesn't matter, that fool was enough to match me at my prime anyways.
Darren: MOON BREATHING FOURTEENTH FORM. CATASTROPHE TENMEN CRESCENT MOON!!!
Anos: Not bad, the strongest technique is already out huh? What do you want to achieve in this fight? Do you want to achieve the excitement of fighting? Do you want to achieve the capability to overcome that trauma? Do you want to be stronger? Do you want to feel satisfaction? WAS THAT IT???!!! SHOW ME YOUR POTENTIAL!!! He kept on attacking me until I had multiple broken bones and scratches all over my body. Kurumi and Wiz had a worried look on their face but couldn't do anything.
Anos: FOCUS, DON'T WORRY ABOUT INJURIES DURING THE BATTLE YOU NEED TO WIELD THE POWER TO DESTROY ANYTHING TO BE ABLE TO WIELD THOSE EYES OF YOURS.
I realised it that moment that was what I needed, more darkness and the power of destruction. I sheathed away Enma which allowed me to regain my memories. I got into a fighting position while Anos also sheath his Venuzdonoa.
Darren: I summon you. Soldiers of the undead. REBORN.
5 shadow soldiers instantly appeared behind me. Knowing my intentions, the held out their hand and soon as I grabbed their hands, they disappeared.
Anos: Kiriya, you chose a great vessel to host your powers.
Darren: I will awaken my eyes. NOW!!!
My eyes glowed blue and a red symbol appeared on my eyes.
Anos: You finally awakened it, my descendent. You FINALLY AWAKENED THE EYES OF RUIN.
Darren: Oh, shut up you old man.
(imagine he has the eyes of ruin)
Darren: Though, without your help I may have never awakened this power. I can feel all of my physical capabilities increase dramatically due these eyes, thank you old man.
Anos: Alright i'm not that old, you brat. Let's get back to fighting shall we.
We dashed towards each other fists clashing with each other no defence only offence this is the fight I wanted against someone.
(Goku is Darren and Anos is Vegeta)
I landed one final punch at Anos, knowing my body wouldn't be able handle more punches coming from this old man. I had to admit he was going to win due to his strength and experience being vaster then mine yet I win in speed and battle IQ.
Darren: Old man, it's over.
I sat on the ground panting while Kurumi, Wiz, Lucas and Rose came over to see me, Shinoa (if that's her name) just watched the battle between Anos and me in awe.
Anos: So I see and yeah it is. You have unlocked your eyes, yet those are only the basic eyes. Your eyes have more potential than mine. If you wanted, you can destroy the world with those eyes of ruin if trained like that.
Everyone except me widened their eyes and jaws, unsure from if what they heard was correct.
Kurumi: Ummm, my darling can destroy the universe if he wanted to right?
Anos: Yes, yes he can if trained that way and if he had the heart to do it. If it was the past him, he would go down that route without a doubt, yet the him now? He changed, opened up his heart to all of you and I can trust you four to take good care of him right?
Everyone: YES!!
Anos: Then i'm relieved. Oi, time for round two and some training.
Darren: Sure, train me how to master those eyes of ruins of yours.
Anos: Alright, see that block of Ice? I want you to disintegrate it with your eyes.
Darren: Sure.
I summoned my eyes of ruin and for some reason they only boosted my physical capabilities and the block of ice didn't move at all.
???: How long ago has it been? Anos Voldigoad? After your source was killed, you latched onto this young man huh??
A woman with blue hair appeared.
Anos: Back off, he's my great, great, great grandson you know? Rimuru Tempest.
Rimuru: Of course, I wouldn't dare to touch your grandson of course. You're training him to defeat Asmodeus right??
Darren: SO YOU WERE THE ONE WHO TOLD ME TO BE AWARE OF ASMODEUS.
Rimuru: Wrong, that was not me or Anos, rather it was someone that wanted you to know that information.
Darren: Also you're a female right???
Kurumi and Wiz immediately pulled on my ears so hard that they might tear my ears apart.
(replace Yuma with Darren, Tori with Wiz and Kurumi is pulling the other ear)
Darren: Alright ladies please forgive me I beg of you. *puppy dog eyes*
Kurumi and Wiz: Fine, only this time.
Rimuru: You have a funny grandson there, Anos. How I wished to have a grandson before I died.
Anos: It's fine.
Rimuru: Also Darren right? I'm actually male sorry to disappoint you.
Darren: So, you're basically a trap.
Rimuru: Well, yes if you want to interpret it like that.
Darren: Welp I just got beaten up just for a trap.
Anos: You'll meet me here after school everyday to train your eyes. How's that, I'll train you to how to master it.
Rimuru: I'll also teach you swordsmanship.

Anos: Also what was that technique you use against me?
Darren: It was called, hellgate. Enma's strongest move being able to boost physical capabilities in any aspect but it sacrifice's memories.
Anos: So it was almost like the eyes of ruin, where your body would deteriorate if you use the eyes of ruin for too long.
Darren: Enma also has a secret power called. Hell unleash. It allows me to unlock the potential of the Undead Monarch for a few minutes in exchange for my memories, or more specifically the memories of those I love. It would strip me of everything I know about them and the timeframe lasts around 10 weeks if of course I don't finish the fight within one minute. This is why, I didn't use the Hell unleash technique when I was fighting you.
Anos: So you still had that trick up your sleeve. But that's not the technique I was asking about I was asking about the absorption technique.
Darren: That technique allows me to absorb other people's cursed memories increasing the darkness in my heart and my potential for destruction but the exchange is my sanity and the ability to determine ally or foe in a battle.
Anos: I see, let's start training shall we?? My descendent.
Shinoa: Then, shall we also begin? My descendent, Lucas Yuto.
Darren: Why only train me? What about my sister?
Anos: She has no fighting potential, she doesn't have the power to unlock those eyes of yours that you have.
Darren: I want to ask a question, who will train my girlfriends??
Rimuru: That would be me, good sir. I would train them in their mana and magic potential.
Darren: It seems kind of embarrassing to ask a demon lord for help though.
Rimuru: No need to be embarrassed, most of us here asked someone for help before and it's not the first time you asked for help anyways.
Rimuru: But a question has to be asked, why didn't you change into your astral dress? If you had that, you could've fought with lighter clothes that wouldn't restrict your speed that much or even use hellgate.
I looked down at the floor when he said that. A wave of guilt washed over me as I remembered that it was a spirit who killed Wiz and me being a half spirit who can Astral Dress, Wiz must hate me.
Rimuru: *looks at me* It was because of her right? That brown haired one?
I just nodded out of body reflex. Everyone had a shocked look on their face . Wiz hugged my right arm as I continued to look down at the icy ground.
Wiz: Darren, were you feeling guilt that I was killed by a spirit and refused your spirit side?
Kurumi: No wonder, I can feel your half didn't have any mana usage besides from the basic magic uses but no bullets were ever fired.
Darren: I thought that Wiz would hate me. *tears were threatening to come out of my eyes* I don't want the one I love to hate me. So I rejected my spirit side completely.
Rimuru and Anos looked at me with no pity in their eyes, instead it was replaced with a bit of anger.
Anos: Are you stupid? You shouldn't do that. She told you right? She wouldn't leave you no matter what.
Rimuru: Haah, to think that your descendent is that stupid despite having a high IQ.
Anos: What's those two's power level Rimuru.
Rimuru: Those two are just about as strong as you right now. So I limited myself to their level which was no limits since I am just as strong as your descendent right there.
Darren: I am prepared for the training. Let's get this show on the road Sensei.
Rimuru and Anos: Of course.
