Darren POV:
I was on my phone just swiping through instagram when suddenly Wiz messaged me about a customer bothering her in her shop. I walked downstairs since I use that room for some afternoon nap at home.
Darren: Wiz my love you really should keep the upstairs cleaner befor-
Darren: Shido, give me one good reason not to kick you out of this store right now!!!
Shido: Sorry, I was just asking about your whereabout since we have to go somewhere?
Darren: Ugh, where?? My head's all messed up at the moment.
Shido: I heard that a new spirit is on the move. We have to find it before AST or DEM does.
Darren: Why should I be involved with you?? The last time I got involved my lovers disappeared.
Shido: I'll treat you to lunch and dinner tomorrow how's that?? Wait also lovers??
Darren: Doesn't matter about that last part but fine I'll join you on this.
Both of us headed out on the streets where the spatial quake alarm started ringing and Darren just looked into the distance.
Darren: Whoever she is. They're coming, I guess the AST is also here. No sign of DEM though. We have to be quick about this shit.
We ran towards where a crater happened and there lay a red haired girl who detected us immediately and stood up.
???: Who are you? Are you also trying to kill me??
Shido: No we are not we won't hurt you, just come with us. Please before they get here!!!
Darren: Shido you better hurry this shit up or the AST will find us soon and frankly I can't fly all that well.
Shido: Fine cmon. Uhhh what's your name??
???: My name is-
Suddenly missiles were fired at us and I drew out Enma.
Darren: Shido I told you to hurry this shit up. Grab her and hide somewhere safe. I'll hold them off.
Shido: Ok thank you so much Gojo.
Shido POV:
I dragged the red haired girl to a safe alleyway before watching Gojo fighting the AST with his sword that sliced through their armour. With no difficulty. He ran towards us after dealing with all of the AST fighting. He had sweat beads all over his face from the constant running and fighting he did.

Gojo: Shido, you son of a gun I had to run so far just to find you.
Shido: Ok WTF was I suppose to do huh? Just leave her at the battle place watching you defeat them??
???: Ummm, please stop fighting. We should leave soon.
Gojo: Yeah we should. What's your name??
???: My name is Takamiya
Gojo: Hello Takamiya. My name is Gojo Satoru.
Shido: And my name is Shido Itsuka, pleasure to meet you Takamiya-San
Takamiya: More there.
Gojo and I turned our heads around to see more AST members coming towards us.
Gojo: Ok let me show off this new move. FIRE BLAST!!!
It hit all of AST leaving some of their armour either burnt or so damaged that they are unable to fight at this moment.
Shido: Hey Gojo, that a new move?
Gojo: Yeah, learned it from Wiz. I swear she sells the most useful and the most useless stuff at the same time. Haaah, what a troublemaker.
Takamiya: Who is this Wiz??
Gojo: She's my lover.
Shido: I thought Kurumi is your lover.
Gojo: Well after them talking about it, they decided to share me. Takamiya san are you ok?
Takamiya: Run, please.
She fell on the floor lifeless with a sword stabbed through her abdomen. She slowly turned to dust while a man standing behind started laughing.
???: Heh, that was easy.
Gojo: YOU!!! I WILL KILL YOU!!!
My jaw went wide open, nothing reached me except Gojo's sentence and I passed out onto the floor.
Darren POV:
The moment I saw Shido faint. Was the moment I knew to not fight and run instead. I can see Wiz calling someone, preferably Lucas cause I have to carry Shido and get out of here.
???: You think you can kill me??
Darren: I don't think so, I know so.
I almost drew out my katana if Lucas didn't arrive in time I wouldn't be able to carry an unconscious Shido and get him away from the battlefield.
Darren: Thx Lucas, I own you one bro.
Lucas: Don't thank me yet. Thank me after I kill this bastard.
Lucas POV:
The air started to grow cold while the opponent readied his battle position.

I dodged his attack though and fired off.
Lucas: Wind breathing first form. Whirlwind Dust cutter.

Lucas: I have no idea what drug you are on bitch but I swore to my friend that I will kill you at all costs.
I rushed towards him for another attack before he yelled.

I jumped back and started clashing with him again. Before both of us were tired on the ground and he started laughing.
???: Not bad human, I can see your determination in this. Tell me, why don't you join the spirit slaying corps?
Lucas: And killing the spirits I had already stablished a good relation with? Yeah no. Fuck you.
???: But you can meet so many more of us. More people uses breathing style and I heard that one even uses moon breathing.
Lucas: WHAT????
???: I know that breathing was only performed by the Monarch of The Undead though I thought it went extinct when the ancient slayers teamed up with the Monarch of Light Kira Nelson and killed it.
Lucas: (Oh this idiot is spilling out all of his information right now)
Lucas: No matter what you try and say my answer is no. Let's just finish this with a final attack.
???: If you say so.
???: FLAME BREATHING NINTH FORM. RENGOKU!!
Lucas: Thunder breathing seventh form. Flaming thunder GOD.

???: *cough* *cough* I guess you won, but don't be too happy about it. I am one of the weakest in the corps. Just wait until you meet the Hashiras. They will kill you.
Lucas: Just shut up already. You lost.
???: Yeah but just wait until the Hashiras come.
Lucas: <Yo Darren, meet back home. I've got some shit to tell you>
Darren: <Yeah sure. I'm already at home though>
I instant teleported back home and saw Darren sitting on the couch alreadysending Shido somewhere safe I believe.
Darren POV:
Darren: Yo, Lucas you're back. Shido is just on the bed wake him up for this please.
Lucas slapped Shido on the face so hard that could basically hear the slapping noise connecting Lucas' palm and Shido's face. Shido awoke abruptly almost in overwhelming pain as well seeing how a hand mark found its way to Shido's face.
Darren: Oh shit, my man just got slapped.
Shido: Shut the hell up. Anyways, we have information right? Lucas if you will.
Lucas: Fine, so I received information that the opponent is from the spirit slaying corps and back in the ancient times, they killed the Monarch of The Undead with help from the Monarch of Light.
Darren: (Thank you so much God that Wiz isn't here at the moment or else she might have a mental breakdown about the death of Kiriya again)
Lucas: The guy was defeated by me albeit with a little difficulty yet he said he is one of the weakest in the corps.
Darren: Kiriya once said that the corps has rankings and yet never specifically said which rank is which and the name was also blurred. We don't have to find out about the ranks. The spirit slayers corps has lived for millennials now.
Shido: This gives us some information about this corps like rankings.
Lucas: Oh and they said that everyone there either hates spirits so much or that spirits killed their family.
Darren: It would be hard then, for them to find friendly spirits if all they do is kill spirits.
Darren: Shido, how strong was Takamiya back then.
Shido: I guess she could go toe to toe with Yoshino.
Darren: Yoshino's rank isn't that high imagine what the spirit killers would do to them??
Lucas: I absorbed the memories of that guy and heard some very disturbing things. Such as them raping spirits for their own pleasure imagine what they would do if they have Kurumi?? They would rape her until she dies.
I slammed my fist on the table so hard breaking it in half while releasing a dangerous aura.
Darren: If they dared I will give make them wish that death is the first thing they wish for.
Shido: You have connections with the underground right? Gojo.
Darren: I do, what do you need with it?
Shido: I need them to hack the DEM system to see what Issac is planning.
Darren: Sorry, not happening.
Shido: Why?? Don't you know a hacker??
Darren: Yeah, you're looking at him right now.

Darren: I may not look like it, but I am actually one of the best hackers in this world.
Lucas: He once hacked into the government files just for a bet.
Shido: Excuse me what?
Darren: You heard him. Haaah, if our enemy is the Spirit Slaying Corps we have to be careful. We can't afford to fuck it up.
Shido: None of us can.
Darren: Also the reason I can't hack into DEM is because I already tried.
Shido: If one of the best couldn't do it then what can we do figure out what have they planned?
Darren: Simple, nothing. We're stuck in a stalemate at the moment. I'm heading over to Wiz's shop. You can tell everyone what we said here. Just don't include the part where we allowed Takamiya-San to be killed by a Spirit slayer.
I ran towards Wiz's shop where the only people inside it were Kurumi and Wiz. They both saw my face which had tears streaming out of it. I was stuck, I didn't know what to do?? It was. my first time seeing a spirit being killed in front of me. I dashed upstairs towards the spare room and laid on the bed. It wasn't extremely comfortable. Just a normal sized bed that had Wiz's smell on it.
Darren: Wiz's smell is the second best smell I have ever smelt. Damn when I said that outloud I sound like a perv.
Kurumi: Because you do sound like a perv, darling.
Kurumi came up to my back and snuggled it.
Kurumi: Darling, please tell me what happened so I can help.
I never thought I needed help but when I heard that Kurumi offered me help. I just instantly accepted, unknowing the reason why. I thought help was just people offering pity to another person. Yet why was I accepting her help?? Was it because I love her?? Was it because I didn't care anymore?? I don't know and I didn't care.
Wiz: You can tell us anything. Darren-Chan.
She also scooted towards me pulling my head into her chest. To say I was comfortable was an understatement I felt like I could sleep through a tornado.
Darren: Alright, I'll talk.
Wiz and Kurumi both had their eyes flashed.
Darren: It started from that mission where we met a red haired girl called Takamiya. She was just your average spirit, she didn't hurt anyone and was just minding her own business when the AST attacked. Shido and I defended that spirit and when I returned to Shido tired from fighting the AST, the spirit was killed by a sword similar to mine except having no magic at all imbued in it. I was scared, I never saw a spirit die in front of me before, guilt washed over me as I blamed myself for not being able to save her. Shido probably thought the same as well but I think I took it harder than him. It was in that moment of helplessness I thought what if you two were also harmed?? How do I repay myself for this?? How do I redeem myself for this?? Thus I went on an anger time. If Wiz didn't call Lucas I would've probably went on a rampage and killed Shido.
Kurumi and Wiz had their eyes wide open yet I didn't care. I was still too busy snuggling with Wiz while Kurumi snuggled my back.
Wiz: Thank you for opening up to us, Darren-Chan.
Kurumi: Darling thank you, for at least talking to us.
I turned around and smiled a little before turning back and started sleeping in Wiz's chest. I could feel her soft hands pat my head before I finally closed my eyes.
