"Scraggy! Use Lowsweep on Servine! Servine, use Vine Whip to grab Scraggy! Torterra, Energy Ball and Glalie, counter it with Freeze Dry!" All pokemon launched their moves at one another, resulting into a large explosion.
Narrator: Ash was out in his own backyard, training his pokemon. He was smiling as sweat droplets covered his forehead. It had now been three days since Ash and Serena got back home. They parted with Brandon who went to Anistar City to do some research on the Sundial.
"I've got food for everyone! Lets eat!" Serena came walking through the glass doors of Ash's house, holding a tray filled with sandwiches, macarons, pokepuffs and bowl with pokemon food. Around her shoulder, she had a towel.
"Let's take a break everyone!" Ash informed his pokemon as he noticed Serena coming. The pokemon nodded in agreement and relaxed while conversing with one another. They had been training hard since Ash came back. Ash had told all of them that he wanted to work with them in order to get them ready for the Kalos League.
"Thanks for making all that food Serena." Ash thanked her, smiling appreciatively at her. "But I do think that you should've allowed me to help you." He added with a frown.
Serena bend down and put down the tray on a log before looking up at Ash with a wide smile. "Don't worry, it is the least I can do since you're working so hard!" Then, she grabbed the towel from her shoulder and handed it over to Ash. "Here."
"Thanks!" Ash said as he took the towel and started to dry the sweat from his face. The towel felt soft as it touched his skin.
As soon as he was done, he put it town on the log, next to the tray of food before he grabbed Serena's arm and surprised her when he pulled her in for a gentle hug. Their heads were inches apart as Ash smiled gently at her while she was recovering from the sudden move he made.
"Are you ready for tomorrow?" Ash asked softly. Tomorrow is the big day for Serena. There was a showcase is Coumarine City and it would be the final test for Serena in order to get herself that third princess key before she was able to compete in the master class.
"Hmmm-mm!" Serena nodded. "More than ever! That key is as good as mine." She spoke determinedly. However, then a small frown went across her face. "It does feel weird, going back there though." She said. Coumarine City was where she performed for the first time ever and that's where she messed up with Delphox when it was still a Fennekin.
Ash placed his hands on her hips and pulled her even closer, with their bodies now against one another. "You've got this, I know you have!" He spoke determinedly, having all the faith in the world in his girlfriend. "Besides, what better way to take a revanche on a false start? Wim where it all started out and I promise you, you're a step ahead of everyone who is going to face you in the Master Class. And believe me, they ain't ready for the beauty that's right here infront of me!"
"Oh Ash..." Serena wispered softly before a determination took controll of her. "Right! I'm gonna win this!"
"That's what I like to hear!" Ash smiled before he leaned in and gave her a loveable kiss, full of passion and meaning. Serena kissed back, happy that she always had him in her corner. No matter how difficult the obstacle in her path was to overcome, with him, she knew she would do it.
They broke the kiss and smiled once more at one another before giving each of the pokemon their bowl of food they had been waiting for. As they finished, they grabbed a sandwich themselves and sat down in the grass, with their backs against a tree. They were sitting pretty close to one another as their sides touched one another.
"So, when does the train to Coumarine City leave again?" Ash asked before taking a bite of his sandwich.
"The train leaves at 3pm from Lumiose City. If we leave around 2pm for Lumiose, we should make it in time. Then, we should be in Coumarine City at 5pm and there we can book a hotel to spend the night in order to fully prepare myself for tomorrow!" Serena said, fully memorising how she had planned things out.
Ash was proud to hear how prepared his girlfriend was. She always planned things out perfectly and if things didn't go their way, she would always have a solution to the matter. It was one of those features he especially liked about her. But not as much as how cute she was when she was shy or blushing, although he loved her confidence at times a lot aswell.
Ash wrapped his arm around her shoulder and leaned the side of his head against hers. "I love you..." He breathed out.
Serena giggled. "I love you too silly." She said before turning her head to his and giving him a small and quick peck on the cheek.
It didn't matter how many times he or she said it, it always made an impact on them. It felt like a small bolt shot through their bodies that sparked up the feelings they shared for one another.
Ash smiled gently as he took a few hair strains that were infront of her eyes and tucked it behind her ear. Then, he started caressing her hair slowly. It was something he liked to do. He didn't know what it was but it made him feel warm inside. Serena didn't mind when he did it. She actually loved the small things he did in a way to show his affection for her.
She took another bite of her sandwich. As she did, she realised something. "Ash? Where is your sandwich?" She asked.
"In here." Ash said, pointing at his belly.
"How did you... nevermind." She said, shaking her head as a giggle escaped her mouth. When it came to gobbling down food, Ash always performed miracles. She never understood how he managed to eat so fast. It was truly incredible to her.
They finished their lunch and cleaned up the things. Ash had thought about which pokemon he wanted to take with him. He called out for Bulbasaur and asked him to gather the pokemon, which he did. Once they all gathered and stood infront of Ash, he started speaking up.
"Alright everyone! I'll be gone for today, and tomorrow and will return tomorrow late. Tomorrow is Serena's performance!"
As soon as the words 'Serena's performance' left Ash's mouth, the group erupted in cheers which Serena found very sweet. Each and everyone of Ash's pokemon supported her in their own ways and it was truly amazing to her.
"I've decided on a few of you guys I'll take with me on the trip. As for now, Pikachu and Lucario will join. Lycanroc and Boldore? Would you guys like to join us too?"
"Roc! Lycanroc!" "Booollldore!" Both cheered.
And for the last two, I'll chose..." Ash spoke as he looked around the large group of pokemon.
"Oshaaaaaa..." Oshawott exclaimed, sparkling eyes with his mouth slightly open.
"I thing Oshawott wants to come along!" Serena giggled with her hand infront of her mouth. "Is that true Oshawott? Do you want to see Serena's performance?" Ash asked, kneeling down infront of the small water starter from Unova.
"Wott! Oshawott!" It exclaimed eagerly. Oshawott had been secretly watching Serena work on her routine everytime. Or so it thought. Both Ash and Serena knew that Oshawott liked to watch Serena perform and knew it always wanted to go to a showcase. They didn't mind him watching her practice though. Actually, they laughed about it. Sometimes, Serena would see in her eyecorners, Oshawott, standing behind corner of the house with both hands against eachother and with sparkles of amazement in its eyes.
"Then it's settled! As for the final pick, how about you Hawlucha?" Ash suggested, looking at the forest champion. "You've always been one of Serena's biggest fans and you've watched every performance with us. Also, you wore that amazing outfit against Sawyer that Serena made for you!" Ash explained his reasoning.
"Lucha!!" Lucha nodded in agreement. Then, Ash turned to the rest of the pokemon. "As for the rest of you, you guys can relax for today and take it easy. However, I want you all to train hard tomorrow. We need to prepare ourselves for the Kalos League which is not much more than a month away!" Ash said. All of the pokemon cheered. They loved to relax a bit but they also knew that they had to work hard in order to get on Ash's roster during the tournament.
"I'll leave Charizard and Bulbasaur in charge. If anything is going on, mom and Gary should also be home later today so I'd say everything should be fine." Ash spoke.
The whole group of pokemon let out their signature cries in confirmation. It made Ash smile, listening to how loyal all his pokemon are, aswell as how much respect they had for one another.
"We should get going Ash, otherwise we might miss our train." Serena said, as a healthy doses of nerves and excitement, aswell as anxiety started to take control of her. She was excited but couldn't help but feel nervous. It was a human thing afterall.
"Yes! Let's get going!" Ash said, turning to her after he put Oshawott, Hawlucha, Lycanroc and Boldore back into their pokeballs. "Take care everyone! See you tomorrow!" Ash shouted as he and Serena walked back inside. Their, both grabbed their packed bags which stood against she wall by the front door. They had packed up things already the night before and were as ready as ever.
Ash locked the front door before they walked up to the front gate and opened the fence gate. As a gentleman, Ash let Serena go through first which caused her to giggle. As they were about to leave the street, the front door of the house across the street opened.
"Serena! Ash!" Grace yelled, causing them to turn their heads towards her. "Hey mom!" Serena shouted with a smile as Grace ran up to them.
"You're leaving already?" She asked. Serena looked at her smilingly. "Yes! If we don't, we'll be late." Serena explained.
Grace smiled at her daughter. Serena had come a long way since she first left the house to go on her journey. "That's right dear. Now make sure you show them how good you are!" Grace said in a supportive manner.
"Right! Thanks mom!" Serena said as she went in for a hug. Grace happily accepted the hug and hugged her back. Then, as they broke the hug, Grace looked over at Ash and placed her hands on his shoulder. "And you young man. Make sure that my daughter wins, kay?"
Ash pumped his fist as he smiled determinedly. "Ofcourse! Serena is so good, she's got this in the bag!"
Serena blushed a bit at his words. "I don't know if I'm that good..." She spoke shyly.
Ash looked at her with a frown. "What do you mean? You're the best performer I know and I believe that you'll beat everyone you're up against!"
"Go get em girl!" Grace added with a big grin. Serena laughed at the two, thankful for their support. Then, she grabbed both of them by their shoulders and pulled them in for a hug. Both Ash and Grace joined in, making it a grouphug. Then, Serena kissed both of their cheeks. "Thanks mom, Ash! I don't know where I'd be without you two!"
As they broke the hug, Serena took Ash's hand and intertwined her fingers with his. It was something she would he too shy for back in the early days of their journeys and even when they just got into a relationship. But now, she felt as confident as ever and it gave her a good feeling, feeling the warmth of his hand in hers.
"I think we should get going." Serena said, noticing the time ticking away.
"Oh right! I won't keep you two off for much longer, good luck Serena!" Grace said quickly before walking back to her front garden where Ryhorn was sleeping peacefully.
"Bye mom!" "Bye Grace!" Both Ash and Serena said as they waved their goodbyes.
"Goodluck Serena! Have fun kids!" Grace replied, waving back.
Ash and Serena were about to leave but then, Lucario and Pikachu came running from around the side of Ash's house. Ash looked at them and frowned. "What did you two do? You knew we were about to leave?"
"Pika... chu Pika..." "Raahh---" Both Pikachu and Lucario exclaimed, both scratching the back of their heads in embarrassement. Ash sighed. "I don't know what you've did but there's no time for that now. We have to go."
Pikachu quickly jumped up on Ash's shoulder and nuzzled his cheek in some affection as Lucario joined his side. Ash looked at Serena. "Let's get going." He spoke gently, smiling warmly at her.
"Yeah." Serena breathed out as they started walking down the street. When they reached the end of the street. They stopped and looked back once more, smiling before they continued their trek towards Lumiose City.
It didn't take long for the group of four managed to get to Lumiose City. Ash and Serena had a lot of laughs on the way. For example, as they were walking, Lucario and Pikachu were joking with one another and then, as Lucario wasn't watching, he walked right against a lamppost.
"There it is!" Serena said, pointing to the large city which was the capital city of Kalos. Serena felt a lot more comfortable and even when Ash wasn't around her, things were going way better for her. Finally her fear of losing Ash was slowly fading away from her mind although she still stayed really close to him. Not because of anxiety but because she liked it.
"So where to now to get to the train station?" Ash asked, looking over at her. Serena took out her Rotom phone and pressed on the picture that resembled a map on her phone. There, she scrolled down and looked for the best route to get there.
They knew Lumiose City pretty well but recently, they built a new train station and didn't know how to get there yet.
"Let's see... We have to get to Prism Tower first. From there, if we take a left and then a right, we should see it." Serena said before she looked up from her phone.
"Should be easy then!" Ash said excitedly. "Yeah! And we've got still twenty minutes to make it!" Serena added in her excitement before putting her phone away.
They made their way to Prism Tower rather quickly. They knew the route to that as the back of their hand afterall. Then, as they reached it, they followed the instructions Serena read out loud earlier and sure enough found their way to the subway station.
After walking down a few stairways, they found their way to the perron where they could get their tickets and get on the train.
"Two tickets for the train to Coumarine City please!" Ash asked the man, sitting behind a desk in a glas kind of reception building. Luckily, Ash only had to pay for his and Serena's ticket as pokemon were free to travel.
The man gave Ash the two tickets and both Ash and Serena made their way through the gates, waiting for the train to arrive.
Luckily, it didn't take long for the train to arrive as they entered as soon as it stopped and opened the doors. They sat down on one of the benches and went to sit down next to one another while Lucario took the opposite side. Ash offered Serena the seat next to the window which she happily accepted.
As they sat, Serena laid her head on his shoulder, something she'd love to do for comfort. These small things always managed to bring a smile on face.
A few hours later, they reached Coumarine City where they got off the train. They quickly found their hotel and everything went smoothly and within minutes, they stood in their hotel room.
They, especially Serena was awestruck by the looks of the room, doing pirouettes and dancing around in happiness. Ash laughed when he saw her bring smile and was almost joining in himself. But he couldn't as Pikachu sneakily took out a bottle of ketchup from Ash's bagpack ans therefore, Ash had to stop him first.

The next day, Ash and Serena woke up peacefully, still having a full hour to get to the showcase hall. They were already completely set as Serena was sure to make them not sleep in and therefore woke Ash already up at 6am. Something he wasn't too found off. But in the end, he appreciated it as he had a few hours to train with his pokemon. It was 8am when he got back and they needed to be at the showcase hall at 11am. So everything lined up perfectly for the two.
Once they found themselves infront of the showcase hall, Serena noticed something. "Hey Ash, it's exacly the same as how it was last time!" She beamed with an excited smile.
"Now that you mention it, yeah!" Ash agreed. They proceeded to walk inside and luckily for Serena, there wasn't much people around so she could get herself registered immediately.
"Hello, what can I do for you?" The attendant behind the desk asked nicely.
"I would like to register for the showcase today." Serena replied, smiling brightly.
"Sure! You only have to fill this in." The attendant replied, taking out a piece of paper where Serena had to fill in a few things. Then, as she finished, she gave it back.
"Good luck Serena! And remember to have fun!" The attendant said, reading
Serena's name from the piece of paper.
"Thanks!" Serena replied. After that, Ash and Serena walked to the door where Serena could enter the dressing room. They stopped infront of the door. Both looked at one another as Ash spoke up. "Make sure you give it your all!" He spoke smilingly.
"I will! Don't forget to cheer for us!" Serena matched his smile. Ash looked at her with a slight chuckle. "How couldn't we? We're your biggest fans! Isn't that right Pikachu? Lucario?"
"Pika!" "Rrah!" Both pumped a fist into the air. Serena giggled at their goofy attitudes but also was happy they were there for her. "Thanks you guys!"
She then locked eyes with Ash. Both leaned in for a loving kiss. "That one is A, for good luck and B, because I love you." Ash said as they broke the kiss. Serena placed her left hand on her heart and her right hand ontop of her wrist where the blue ribbon was located as she smiled warmhearedly at him.
"Now, get changed and I'll see you on stage!" Ash winked at her as Pikachu and Lucario gave her a thumbs up.
"Right!" Serena said determinedly, pumping her fist down before she entered the changing room.
Ash himself walked back through the hallway as he made his way to the auditorium. There, he released Hawlucha and Oshawott aswell before they found a good place to sit in order to watch the performance.
Ash walked over to the seat and sat down. Right next to him was an old man with a grey beard, a green barret and a green outfit. He wore a red scarf around his neck.
"It has been a while since I've seen you, hasn't it, whippersnapper?"
Ash turned his head to the old man and his eyes widened in surprise. "Ramos!" Ash exclaimed. "I don't recall you attending to showcases?" He asked with a frown.
"Well, I've watched every performance in my city young man. Maybe you haven't seen me but I was definetly here the last time. Are you here to watch someone perform?" He asked.
"Yes! Serena is performing. She's my girlfriend and now she's going for her third princess key!" Ash said with pride, pumping his fist. "And she's going to win for sure!" He added.
"Oh? That's an interesting development of things." Ramos gave Ash a surprised smile. "Then again, when I saw you give her that ribbon under the pledging tree, I knew you two would end up together."
Ash smiled at the old Coumarine City gym leader. "Thanks Ramos. That means a lot to me." Then, both turned to face the stage as the lights started to dim and Monsieur Pierre walked onto the stage.
"Ladies and Gentlemen! Welcome to zis years Coumarine City pokemon showcase!" He started off.
With Serena in the dressing room.
Serena could hear Monsieur Pierre talk on the TV as she was doing the finishing touches. Infront of her were Sylveon and Deerling. She was conflicted on wanting to use Absol aswell but she knew that Absol wasn't ready yet and therefore decided to use it in the next Showcase.
"Alright Pancham, Sylveon. Today's first round performance starts with baking pokepuffs. If I know something right, then, with your help, it should be a breeze. If we work together and create the best pokepuff we can make. Are you with me?" Serena asked her trusted partners.
"Veon!" "Cham-pan!" Both nodded in agreement. Serena smiled at the two. "Alright! Let's do this!" She exclaimed, pumping her fist into the air. Pancham mimicked her actions, feeling excited to finally perform again.
Suddenly Serena heard a knock on the door. "Serena?" A feminine voice asked.
"Yes?" Serena replied, shifting her attention towards the door as it was opened by a woman. "You're up in 5 minutes. Make sure you're ready to get on then." She spoke.
"Okay!" Serena said as she turned back to her pokemon. "Let's show them what we're made of!"
Back on stage with Monsieur Pierre
"And now ladies and gentlemen, let me introduce our first group of performers!" He said as a platform started to rise. "Please, welcome ze ladies Millie, Susan and Serena!"
Millie was first. She wore a light green dress with small red buttons on it. She wore matching red heels and wore a green ribbon in her brown hair, matching her sparkling green eyes.
Susan however had a different style. She wore a blue skirt with a light blue top, aswell as her sleeves. Her heels matched the colours of her skirt and her hair. She also had blue eyes and Ash was sure that she could've been Dawn's sister if she had one.
Then, someone came on Ash couldn't wait to see. Surprisingly, she wore the dress she wore the first time ever. But now with her short honey blond hair, the dress matched her even better. It was even to the point where Ash almost found himself drooling over her.
"Osha-- Oshawott!!" "Chaaa--- Hawlucha!!" Both pokemon cheered excitedly when Serena entered the stage. They were so loud that Serena saw them, causing a light giggle from her.
"These lovely ladies will face off in a contest for making pokepuffs! They have a ten minute time limit and then the jury will decide the winner who will advance to the freestyle performance round." Monsieur Pierre explained. "Now ladies, please take your places." He said as Serena, Millie and Susan took their places behind a desk filled with utensils, berries, materials and much more.
The timer started ticking away as Monsieur Pierre counted the last seconds. "3... 2... 1... Start!" He exclaimed as the three performers started working quickly.
As the other two girls were working hard, Serena started mixing ingredients she wanted to use. Pancham was dancing around while grabbing the right tools for Serena to use and Sylveon used her Fairy Wind to make it a more magical appearance. Sylveon also helped out putting the layers of accessories over the pokepuffs while Pancham did the toppings together with Serena.
The girls worked as hard and quick, aswell as efficient as they could. But then, the bell rang. "Time's up ladies!" Monsieur Pierre exclaimed.
The three girls placed their own Pokepuff on a plate and handed it over to the jury which consisted of Nurse Joy, one of the towns best chefs and Monsieur Pierre himself. The pokemon who tasted the pokepuffs were nurse Joy's Wigglytuff, Monsieur Pierre's Klefki and the Chef's Munchlax.
First, the three pokemon smelled each pokepuff. Then, they took a bite of each but what everyone noticed was that the pink one, the one Serena made was gone first.
Monsieur Pierre chuckled. "I zink that zis is our answer to who will go through to the second round." Monsieur Pierre said before he looked at Serena. "Congratulations performer Serena!"
The crowd cheered loudly as Serena beamed in happiness, hugging Pancham and Sylveon. "Thanks you two! I couldn't have done it without you!" She exclaimed.
Then, the three performers left the stage and numerous trio's of performers came on stage, also baking pokepuffs. Soon though, it was time for the second round.
"Okay ladies and gentlemen! Ze second round is about to start. Our first performer is special as you all know. She reached the Masterclass finals and gave us an outstanding performance. Here is performer Serena!" He exclaimed loudly.
"Focus Serena! You can do this!" Serena said to herself as she slapped her cheeks. Delphox and Pancham stood beside her as the platform she was standing on rose up. As soon as it came to a halt and she stood on stage, the crowd roared as loud as they could. Serena quickly glanced at Ash, seeing them wave even more than all the other attendances. Especially Oshawott and Hawlucha went over the top. She couldn't help but giggle. Then, she refocused her attention as the music started to play.

With a smile plastered on her face, Serena began by pointing towards Delphox.
"Delphox, use Flamethrower on the stage, but make your columns shoot upwards!" Serena called upon her loyal starter, while spinning. Delphox quickly nodded while pulling out her branch. Lighting it aflame, Delphox smashed her branch onto the stage, fire spouting all around her, her trainer and Pancham.
"Pancham, fire Dark Pulse! Merge it with Delphox's fire pillars and then apply Stone Edge into them!" Serena twirled once more, as Pancham jumped into the air to launch his move. The Dark Energy and Fire swirled around each other before exploding outwards. The sight of fireworks filled the area as the crowd burst in excitement.
Afterwards, Pancham did some somersaults mid-air until gravity pulled him towards the stage, where he slammed his fist and stone pillars emerged beneath himself, Serena and Delphox. This caused the three of them to be launched into the sky. The leftover gigantic stones burst into sparkles, while the three were now surrounded by the remaining fireworks from earlier. The crowd roared loudly, captivated by the amazing display they were creating and for using the moves they were known for.
The three did a display of flips through the air. Meanwhile, Pancham shot a sprinkle of Dark Pulse around them as the three descended upon the stage floor with a perfect landing.
'Now, let's wrap this up!' Serena thought to herself while nodding to Delphox and Pancham. The two instantly caught on to what she meant, and they prepared to reach the finale, which they knew to enact a bit of a risky maneuver for the shock factor.
Pointing her branch right at Pancham, Delphox launched a Hidden Power with Serena in the line of fire, the silver orb launching towards her teammates. The crowd gasped in fear of Serena, who waited till the last second and gracefully dodged the attack with a dance move.
"Now Pancham, reflect it back at Delphox but with a little Dark Pulse!" Serena ordered, with the Playful Pokemon smashing his hands together while firing his signature black and purple beam, albeit blatantly weaker than usual. The attacks merged once more, with the Hidden power growing in size along with speed towards its caster. The sphere also seemed to have gained a purple coloring, with the crowd curious with regards to what Serena was planning for next.
"Now Delphox, finish our performance with a Fire Blast!" Delphox spun her wand and pointed it towards the Dark Pulse-infused Hidden Power orb. Flames emerged from the branch, and the blast turned into an orange-colored 大, which upon colliding with the orb, changed color. The left curve became purple, and the right curve became silver.
"And we're finished!!" The three took a bow towards the audience, who in turn cheered at the top of their lungs and caused the studio to reverberate with applause.

"An incredible performance by Serena and her Delphox and Pancham! Zis is the true class she possesses! Let's give them another round of applause!" Monsieur Pierre roared in excitement, beaming his smile brightly.
The crowd cheered even louder as Serena bowed slightly in gratitude. She couldn't help but blush as the praise she was receiving was bigger than she expected.
After that, she left the stage as Monsieur Pierre announced the next performer to come on.
Performer after performer went, each giving them one incredible performance after another. Serena started to doubt herself as she noticed the competition was really good this time around.
"Del..." "Cham-pan!" Both Pancham and Delphox exclaimed as Felphox put her paw on her trainers shoulder while Pancham put his kn her leg for reassurance. Serena looked back at her faithful pokemon and nodded. "You guys are right! We gave everything we have and if that's not enough, then so be it!"
With Ash in the stands.
Ash had a smile plastered on his face from ear to ear as Serena left the stage. He had watched her practice a lot but none of those sessions were as good as this performance just gave. Ash looked to his side and immediately sweatdropped as Pikachu, Lucario, Oshawott and Hawlucha, each of them were drooling with sparkles in their eyes as they used their hands or paws to hold their heads together.
"Osha-- wot-oshawott..." Oshawott murmured to Hawlucha. Hawlucha kept his eyes at the stage as he slowly moved his claw over and pinched Oshawott's cheek as it requested.
"OSHAAAA!!!" Oshawott cried in pain but now it knew that it wasn't dreaming.
Soon though, all performances were done and Monsieur Pierre had called everyone back on stage again.
"Now all our performances are over. Please grab your glow casters and select the colour of ze performer you think was best today!" Monsieur Pierre announced. Holographic keyholes appeared above the five performers standing on stage.
Suddenly light particles all around the crowd started floating towards the stage, dissapearing into the keyholes.
"Go.... Serena!" Ash yelled loudly as he pressed the button to make it pink. Ash stole a glance to Ramos to see him pressing on the green button. He frowned and decided to ask.
"Ramos? Aren't you voting for Serena?"
Ramos turned to Ash and smiled at him. "I was gonna but let me tell you this young whippersnapper. I just like the colour green."
Ash, aswell as his pokemon fell flat on their faces at hearing Ramos's explanation. But as Ash sat up again, he saw Ramos putting it on pink as he said to him. "I was only kidding. In my eyes, Serena deserves to win this one."
A wide smile appeared on Ash's face.
At stage with Serena. (POV)
I couldn't help but feel the nerves burning through my body. I decided to close my eyes and just wait instead of looking at the crowd or the keyhole above me. But that didn't take away the anxiety I'm feeling.
Then, as the last few particles floated into the keyholes, the lights went out completely. Then Monsieur Pierre spoke up, making me even more nervous.
"Now, as the final results are in. Our winner of the Coumarine City Showcase is..."
"This is it..." I wispered to myself as the seconds that past felt like hours. I can't hold it anymore. If this takes any longer, I might burst.
Just then, I felt a burning sensation on me. I open my eyes only to see the spotlight is aimed at me as Monsieur Pierre made the call.
"...Performer Serena!!!"
I couldn't hold it anymore. "YEAHH!!!!" I squealed as loud as I could as I jumped into the air, pumping my fist up high. I see that both Pancham and Delphox are mimicking my actions. Then, I went down on my knees and hugged my two partners. "Thank you Pancham, Delphox! Thank you!"
At the stands.
"Serena!!!" Ash yelled in pure happiness. Happy that she won her third key.
Monsieur Pierre gave Serena her third princess key and as she took it, she couldn't help but gleam of happiness. Now, she finally had her entry into the Masterclass in her hands.
Thirty minutes later, Serena had dressed back to her normal clothes again and walked down the hallway with Pancham, Sylveon and Delphox by her side. She let them stay put longer as they deserved to celebrate their win.
"Serena!" A familiar voice yelled which Serena only could smile of hearing. She turned her gaze to where the voice originated from and as soon as she saw her Prince charming, she ran towards him, beaming with a large smile on her face.
"You've did it Serena! Congratulations!" Ash exclaimed as he wrapped her in a big hug and gave her a kiss full of passion and love.
"Thank you so much!" Serena squealed as they broke the kiss. She started jumping up and down as if she was a little kid who couldn't contain her excitement.
"Oshawott!"
"Cha! Hawlucha!"
"Chupika!"
"Rrah rahh!"
All four if Ash's pokemon congratulated Delphox, Sylveon and Pancham with their win. Sylveon even blushed a little when Pikachu congratulated her personally.
"Congratulations Serena!"
Serena looked beside Ash's head, only to see Ramos walking over. "Thank you Ramos! I didn't know you were watching?"
Ramos chuckled. "Like I said to your man over here, I may not always be there but I watch all showcases in my city."
Serena raised her eyebrow towards Ash at hearing 'her man'. Ash however shrugged and mouthed "long story." To her to which she nodded in understanding.
Then, she hugged Ash tightly once more and raised one leg into the air behind her while burrowing her head in his neck. "Thank you all! I couldn't have done it without you!"
Ash happily accepted the hug and kissed her forehead. "You deserved it. You were the best!"
Narrator: And so, Serena finally managed to get her final Princess key in order to be able to compete in the Masterclass. What will happen in our heroes next adventure? Stay tuned as the journey continues!
