she then called in the maids to bring your lunch so you could eat ahead of time, and you took your time as you ate, the whole of the palace was bustling and being decorated almost like a bride, decorated with the sacred Padisarah flowers which were most fitting and auspicious for a wedding like this, when you finished eating you wiped your mouth and had a sip of water
Maharet took the dishes away, and soon came back but then you caught her hand

you both exchanged a hug for the moment, before you rose onto your feet and went to start getting ready, you undressed from your night dress and got into the waters of your private bath, you washed your face and started washing yourself, while Maharet combed through your hair and dipped the comb in a scented oil, you had your hair washed a day ago, she combed through your hair and massaged the oil into your scalp, but not using too much,
she soon finished combing your hair, and you finished washing yourself with her help before you stood up from the bath, and they helped you to try off, you put on your silk robe and went back into your bedroom to get dressed, you moisturized your skin with some serum and put on undergarments, just as your wedding dress was brought Into the bedroom, it was very beautiful with white and gold detailing, you put on the first skirt, you slipped on the top that had golden sleeves and almost sheer layers that went atop the skirt, and Maharet secured It all In the back
Maharet smoothed skirts before you went to sit at your vanity, taking out a golden choker that had coins almost like Mora hanging from It, securing It in the back and she then started styling your hair, braiding It intricately, you put on a pair of dangling gold and diamond earrings that were a little bit heavy, when finished she placed your tiara into your hair, Maharet then had you stay still as she started to apply some makeup onto your face, with some red rouge on your lips for the finish, the other maid came and put a few bracelets onto your wrists
Maharet then stepped back, and you put on your shoes as you rose onto your feet just as someone came into the bedroom, your Mother was dressed formally and she felt herself get teary as she looked at you, she walked over and held out her hands to you
you took them, "Mother"
she smiled, "you look so beautiful, I remember on my day I was dressed In green, but this suits you perfectly, (Y/n) you must live well after leaving the palace tomorrow, the General has proven to be a wonderful man and someone who truly loves you"
Queen Devika brought a hand to your cheek, "No matter what this will always be your home, and these palaces doors will always be open for you"
you smiled with a nod, feeling yourself tear up a little bit before you hugged your Mother, and she rubbed your back as a few tears slipped down her cheeks,
"where's Candace?"
your mother parted from you, "she and her in laws are being escorted right now to their places"
you nodded, you then looked outside now seeing that the sun had lowered In the sky a little bit, your mother then placed a Padisarah flower into your hair, just as Maharet brought over your veil that was white and sheer, they both then carefully placed it over your head as it went to the floor, just then the head servant of palace stuck his head inside the door

Maharet then gathered the back of the veil holding It as you started out of your bedroom, making the journey to the throne room as you walked through each corridor, with each step you felt your heartbeat start to quicken and you could almost feel your hands become a little sweaty, within the throne room everyone was already there, all the guests and as well as the rest of the royal family, and of course the devotees of the Dendro Archon
and your Father stood at the front with Cyno at his side, your soon to be husband was dressed up more formally than usual and at first sight he looked like a true Prince, but he quietly found the clothes to be Itchy and or uncomfortable, but he stood with his usual expression, the musicians inside the hall were playing the olden music of Sumeru Kingdom,
just as you arrived outside the throne room, Maharet brushed off your skirts and made sure all was in place, just as the grand doors opened and everyone turned, you took In a breath as you started walking inside, and you caught sight of Cyno at the front with your father
a warm smile coming to your face, and Cyno's eyes widened as he watched you walk down the aisle, but then a blush rose to his cheeks as he smiled lovingly, you felt a tear come to your eye but you held It in as best you could while you continued walking
once at the front your father looked at you proudly, he then brought you into a hug before giving your head a gentle pat, Cyno the held out his hand to you and you placed yours in his as you walked forward a bit more together, the music then stopped as you and Cyno got onto your knees, you bowed low as a sentence was said In light of the Dendro Archon
and Cyno helped you to stand up as your Father took his place, "Everyone, dear family and friends alike, today we come together and announce this marriage to the Dendro Archon, bringing together my Daughter Princess (Y/n) and General Cyno of the Mahamatra Clan, If anyone should oppose this union speak now or remain at peace"
no one said a word, your father turned to Cyno first "General Mahamatra, do you swear to uphold your truths and give the Princess your best, to be the husband that she can turn to In times of strife and be merry with In times of joy"
Cyno looked to you, the love In his eyes could be seen "I do,"

a ring was then brought over, it was round with a beautiful design almost like a mirror, Cyno carefully slid It onto your finger as you smiled at each other, your Father cleared his throat
"Then by the power vested in me, as King of Sumeru Kingdom I now pronounce you Husband and Wife, Prince and Princess"
Cyno then lifted your veil back from your face, you had to be modest right now, so he pressed a kiss to your cheek and you returned the kiss, before you shared a hug while the whole room celebrated, you both locked hands and turned to the crowd, you then started walking down the aisle as you made your way to the dining hall for the grand feast.
