Greggy
It's already late midnight but I'm still wide awake, I don't know, I can't sleep. So I decided to stood up and went to the pool side.
I closed the door silently, and walked. I was startled when I saw someone is also in the pool side.
Naglakad lang ako ng tahimik hanggang sa makarating sa likod niya.
Napahinga ako ng maluwag na maramdamang si CJ yun. Tingnan mo to, gising pa rin pala.
"Anong ginagawa mo dyan?" I asks and suddenly, hindi ko alam kung paanong gulat ang ginawa niya but he fell out to the pool.
I can't stop laughing but when he looked at me deadly.
"Bwisit ka Greggy! Ang lamig ha, 'pag ako nilagnat di ako papasok"
"Edi wag kang pumasok, sino ba mawawalan ng sweldo?" I joked.
I sat beside him but malayo sa kanya. "Ano nga ba kasing ginagawa mo dito?"
"Hindi ako makatulog, di ko alam kung bakit" He replied while playing the water.
Parang bata lang ah.
"Kasi Ate, alam mo nang nagugutom ako eh, mananak--" We heard Irene uttered.
"Ate, may multo" She added, "Huh multo? gaga ka" Imee replied and roamed her eyes.
"Wag kang tatakbo, Irene sinasabi ko sayo" She warned
"Bahala ka dyan" Irene answered.
"Maria Irene Victoria!"
"C-chill, kami lang to" I uttered and stood up. I saw Irene's face became lighter.
Irene
When Greggy speaks, my face became lighter. I don't know, maybe I fall inlove with him.
"Bakit naman 'di niyo sinabi? Tsaka hatinggabi na ah" I said while walking closer to him. Ate followed me.
"Eh kasi, di ko rin alam" He scratches his head.
I sat beside him and leaned my head to his shoulder.
"You won, Gregorio" I whispered, smiling.
"Hmm? What did you said" He asks and looked at me.
I roamed my eyes and saw Ate Imee and CJ sitting at the balcony.
Uupo pala dun, di manlang kami inaya.
"I said, I'm hungry" I expressed and fidget my fingers.
"So let's go to the 7/11, you want?" I nodded and lift up my head.
"Ate, do you want to come with us?" I asked them.
"Saan punta niyo?"
"Sa 7/11 lang, gutom daw eh" Greggy answered. Imee stood up together with CJ.
"Sama, asan wallet mo?" She asks.
"Ako ang magbabayad" Greggy insisted, "No, wait lang kukunin ko"
I was about to walk when Greggy hold my arms, "I said ako ang magbabayad" He seriously said.
Imee is preventing her laughs. "O-okay, tara na"
Greggy get his car keys, "Anong gagawin mo dyan?"
"Gagamitin malamang" He philosophy replied, I hit his arms.
"Pilosopohin mo 'pa ko, ang tamad mo naman. Dyan lang sa kabilang bayan yung 7/11 kaya maglalakad tayo"
"T-tayo? Are you sure, isn't that dangerous?" He asks.
I giggles before answering, "We're in Ilocos so it's safe, kaya tara na"
I pulled him outside. "And dilim pala dito, Ate" I chuckles.
"Tanga, di lang kasi nakabukas ang ilaw" She switch on the light.
...........
"Mag-soju kaya tayo" Imee suggested, "Ayoko baka malasing ako" I refused.
"Eto naman, soju lang yan oh" She showed me the bottle.
"Get whatever you want, Irene. I'll buy it for you" Greggy whispered.
"Ano yan? Greggy, okay lang naman kung kumuha ako ng 5 bottles of soju diba?" Singit ni Ate.
"Yeah of course, get some junk foods also" He answered and looked at me again, he smiled.
Gregorio, what are you doing to me?!
I smiled also, and pulled him to the ice cream section.
"May gusto ka ba? Eto oh masarap naman ata yan" I chuckles.
"I want you" He whispered but I didn't heared it.
"Bumubulong ka nanaman eh, what do you want, tell me" I asked, looked at him straightly.
"Don't mind me, sige na. Ikaw yung pinapapili ko eh" He laughs softly.
Darn! Wala na, nahulog na ko.
"Kahit sa pamimili, mahaharot pa rin. Okay na ba kayo? Gusto ko na kasing lantakan to eh" Imee showed the soju, again...

"Bakit kasi soju yung pinili mo, edi ngayon nakikihingi ka kay CJ" I hissed.
"Eh bakit ba?" She replied. Bwisit talaga 'to kausap.
I was starled when someone hugged me in my legs.
I took a glance to it and I was surprised to see my lovely nephew, Sandro.
"Hi tita" He greeted me so I carry him. "Hi, why aren't you sleeping yet? It's already late"
"I want to sleep with you" He replied.
"Hmm, mamaya pa matutulog si Tita, Sandro" I caressed his hair that blocking to his eyes.
" I thought, that's bad Tita? you told me right" He asks, cutely.
"Yes but I'm already old enough, I can handle myself already" I explained.
"But I'm also big boy na, am I not?"
"Of course you are, but still you're still a kid" Greggy answered.
"I really want to sleep with you, Tita" He cried, gossh mapapagalitan nanaman ako.
"Hush, don't cry na. Come to Tito Greggy, I'll play with you now" Greggy comforted him and get from me.
Mang-aagaw pa talaga ah.
"Para kayong pamilya dyan" Ate Imee teased, I looked at her deadly.
"Yay! Thank you, tito but I have a question"
"What's your question, little one" Greggy said, he's so cute..
"Tito, are you Tita's boyfriend?" He asks, what the?!
"No, but we're a close friend" He answered, honestly.
"Ohh okay, let's go na tito" Sandro uttered so Greggy left.
"Shot ka na" Ate gave me the shot glass, I drink it all.
"Bakit walang yakult? Ang pakla" I hissed while getting a glass of water.
"Tanga ka? Pakla pa sa tingin mo yung green grapes flavor" She asks.
"Oo, ikaw kaya mo?" I asks CJ and he nodded, bagay nga sila..
"Don't drink too much if hindi mo kaya" Someone familiar voice whispered to my ears.
I looked back and I saw Greggy. "Hmm? what if inumin ko lahat 'to" referring to the 5 bottles.
"Then I'll take care of you but don't you ever do that, ikaw rin ang mahihirapan" He caressed my hair.
"You sure that you'll take care of me?" I ask again, and smiled cutely.
He gently pinched my cheeks, "Of course I'll take care of you no matter what" He assured and smiled.
"Tama na ang landi, inumin mo na 'to Greggy" CJ said and gave him the shot glass.
"Hindi mapait?" I ask him when he's done. "Not so, maybe sanay na ako" He replied
We just continue drinking, "Uhm sa veranda lang kami ni Greggy, kayo ng bahala dyan. Ate behave"
They nodded so I pulled Greggy away.
"Why?" He asks and guide me to sit down before he sit down too.
"Nothing, I just what to have a time with you" I replied, smiling.
"That smile of yours, Victoria. It killing me" I heard him whispered.
"What did you say?" I ask, raising my eyebrow.
He caressed my hair and tucked in to the back of my ear.
"I said, that smile of yours, Victoria. It killing me" He answered.
I was surprised, inulit niya talaga!
I leaned my head to his shoulder, "You know I like stars even when I'm still a kid"
"Why?" He asks
"There's so many reason, whenever I'm alone. I'm just gonna looked at the sky and there I saw a thousand of stars, I love them all very much"
"But now, there's only one star make my heart melted, he make me laugh and smile" I added.
He looked at me, "So you already had that one guy?"
"No, He doesn't know about this. That I liked him because of the way he makes me feel every single day"
"You should tell him" He smiles, weakly.
"No I can't, There's so many what if's in my mind. What if he doesn't like me the way I like him?"
"There's nothing wrong to try, Irene"
"Ayoko muna, hindi ko kaya kapag hinindian niya ako" I wiped my tears.
Greggy
"Hush, like your story. I also had that one girl, I like her very much" I said and there's a tear flowed down from her eyes.
"I'm already inlove with her and I'm just waiting for a right time to confess" I expressed.
"So wala na talaga akong pag-asa?" She asks.
I looked at her, she's crying endlessly. "Sana hindi mo na sakin pinaramdam 'to kung yan din pala ang kapalit"
"I-irene, don't cry please?" I asked and hugged her tightly.
She misunderstood everything, I told.
While hugging her, "I like you, Victoria. The girl I was talking about earlier it's just you" I whispered.
She looked at me surprised but it the end she hugged me back so tightly.
"I d-don't know what to s-say" she shuttered. She lift up her head and smiled at me.
I smiled back, "I like you too, Gregorio. The only star that melted my heart"
I kissed her forehead, "I love you, Hihintayin kita hanggang sa maging ready ka na. I won't force you, I respect you more than anything"
"Thank you, Greggy. You doesn't know what I feel about right now. My heart is full of happiness right now and that's because of you."
"Okay na ba kayo? Tara na, inaantok na 'ko" Singit ni Imee.
"Ate?! kanina ka pa dyan?" Irene asked.
"No naman, siguro mga 15mins na kaming andito" She proudly replied. .
"Bwisit ka! Tara na nga, Greggy" She uttered and held my hands.
"Ang landi niyo naman" CJ hissed.
"Inggit ka lang, tumabi ka nga. You're blocking the hallway" I irritated said.
Nauna ng pumasok si Imee sa kaniyang kuwarto at si CJ sa isa pang guest room.
"Goodnight, my Victoria. Sleepwell po, I love you" I smiled and she smiled back.
"Goodnight too, Greggy. Have a nice sleep, thank you for making me the happiest girl tonight"
"You also maked me the happiest guy tonight so thank you also. Matulog ka na ha?" She nodded.
I kissed her forehead first before I walked away and I hear her door closed.
