Chapter 24

Third Person POV

Today is Imee's birthday. The house seems to be very busy.

"Aimee, gisingin mo na ang Ate Irene mo." Imee uttered.

Aimee went to Irene's room as she knocked twice. "Yes? I'm sleepy pa.." Irene told her. "But ate, it's ate Imee's birthday." Aimee uttered.

Irene opened her door. "Idedeliver nlang yung car, sabihan mo si Kuya. Dahil lalagyan mo pa ng books yung loob diba?" she asked.

"Yes, ate. Kasya ba sa compartment yung 100 books?"

"100 books?!" Irene exclaimed. "Yeah, para mapagod siya magbasa ng magbasa."

"Oh sige na, I'll brush my teeth and wash my face lang." pumasok naman sa loob si Aimee.

"Ate.." she called, Irene. "Oh? sandali lang." Irene told her.

"Tigang kana ba?" she asked, napaubo naman si Irene.

"Ano ba namang tanong yan, Aims!" she exclaimed, Aimee laughed.

"I'm just asking, ate. Ano? tigang kana?" she asked again. "Tigilan mo ko!" Irene exclaimed.

"Ate uuwi na pala ako bukas. How about the letter?"

"Actually, Aims. I'm thinking here, sabi ko kasi kay Alex, I'll be teaching again for atleast a month. So I needed to be in Manila."

"So that means, uuwi ka sa condo mo?" Aimee asked.

"I'm thinking na, sa condo mo nalang. Para mabantayan din kita. Malay ba namin baka may dinadala kang lalaki dun."

"Ate naman! Wala no! but okay lang naman, if sa condo ko ikaw tumira. But ate, I still need the letter ha?"

"U-uhm, s-sure!" Irene replied and went out of the bathroom.

"Tara na nga! at baka nagagalit na sa baba si Ate." she added and pulled Aimee.

Imee

Ang tagal naman ng mga bruha kong kapatid. "Irene, Aimee! ano ba?!" I shouted.

"Hi, ate. Good morning." Irene greeted me. I pouted, she seems to forget something.

"Oh, bakit ganyan mukha mo?" she asked. "Ah talaga ba? wala kang nakakalimutan?" I asked.

She looked at Aimee. "May nakalimutan ba ako, aims?" she asked. I glared at her when she chuckles.

"Just kidding!" she exclaimed and kissed my cheeks.

"Happy birthday to the best ate! love yah!" she exclaimed and hugged me.

"Wag kanang magtampo, jusko ate." she whispered, I laughed.

"Ah talaga ba? kung sipain kita palabas." I uttered, she laughed. "Si mommy, asan?" she asked.

"Nasa room niya. Wag mo na puntahan at kaka-akyat lang." she nodded.

"Sa labas lang kami, ate. May deliver kasi." Aimee uttered. "Sige. Bumalik din kayo ha? kakain na." I told them, they nodded.

Lumabas naman sila, nagtatatakbo pa.

"Parang mga bata, oo." I uttered to myslef. The staffs chuckles.

Tinutulungan ko kasi sila na magorganize as my mommy told me. Kesa daw umupo ako at magutos ng magutos, tumulong nalang daw ako.

Irene

Nasa labas na kami ngayon at dumating na rin ang car, dito nalang sa labas namin aayusin.

"Kuya, lagyan mo pa yun oh." I pointed the empty space. "Anong regalo mo, Kuya?" I added.
