Chapter 17

Greggy

It is Monday today. I already finished what I needed to do, so I planned to go home today. I didn't told Irene also I haven't contacted her since Friday.

Our last conversation was this last  Thursday, when they were still in Baguio.

I decided to call Ate Imee to inform her. She answered it in no time.

"Hoy gaga ka. Bakit sakin ka tumawag? Nung Friday pa hinihintay ni Irene ang tawag mo." She started.

"I've been so busy kasi. But, I'm planning to go home now. But can you not tell her? I'm planning to surprise her kasi." I told her.

"Anong maitutulong namin?" I heard Bongbong asked.

"Uhm. Can you talk my sisters? Yung bahay kasi, ipapaayos."

"Oh sure! Laging andito sila lalo si Pat. Kahapon lang bumisita dito." Imee said.

"Dalian mo ang pag-uwi ah! Nung Friday pa masungit-sungit yun. Maawa kana samin." I laughed.

"Oo, sige na. Bye, thank you." I ended the call.

"Amber book me a flight to Manila." I told my secretary. "Okay, sir. Wait here." She replied.

May pa 'wait here' pa talaga a.

I called CJ to inform him. "CJ ikaw nang bahala dito. Come over here to check all I did. Then always update me."

"Oo na, Araneta! Panira naman 'to nang moment."

"Kasama mo ngayon si Imee?" I asked. "Ay hindi ba halata?" he back fired. "Sira ulo na 'to. Tinatanong lang kita!"

"Sige na, bye na!" he ended the call. I just leaved him a message.

"Sir. Okay na po. 10am po flight niyo." Amber told me, I just nodded. I prepared all my stuffs cause it's already 9am.

"Uuwi kana, Greggy?" Isabella asked. "Yes." I shortly replied.

"Bakit hindi ka muna mag-stay kahit hanggang  Friday manlang?" she asked, I looked at her.

"Wala naman na akong gagawin dito. Also, I already missed my girlfriend." I replied.

"You had a girlfriend?!" she exclaimed, I just gave her a nod.

Lalandiin mo pa ko a.

She left when she keeps on talking to me but I'm just ignoring her.

"Sir. Andyan na po yung sasakyan." Amber informed me. "Paki-tawag si Miko. Hindi ko mabi-bitbit 'to."

Miko carry all my stuffs and proceed to the car.

Irene

Lagot sakin yung Gregorio na 'yun pag-uwi niya. How could he not to call me since Friday?!

"Ano ba yun?" I hissed, when Ate keeps calling me.

"Andito sila Pat. Babain mo." she told me.

Buti pa mga kapatid ni Greggy. Andito araw-araw tapos siya ni-isang tawag hindi magawa.

I stood up and went downstairs. I saw them talking to Mommy.

"Good morning, ate." Pat greeted me and nagbeso.

"Good morning. What's up?" I asked and sat down. "Mommy is inviting your family in our house. A dinner." Ate Elvira told me.

"Ah sure! What time?" Mommy answered. "7pm, tita. Are you okay with it?" she asked me.

"Of course! But can I ask you?" I asked her. "Yes, what was it?"

"Did Greggy called you since Friday?" I asked, they both looked at each other.
