Irene

One week already past and half day lang ang pasok ko ngayon.

"Aims, alis na ko ha? message or call me if aalis kana rin." I told her as I get my car key.

"Okay, ate. Bye, ingat." I made beso before leaving.

While walking, my phone rang. Its was my secretary. "Yes, Trish?" I asked. "I'm about to go there na. I replied.

"Oh okay, sige I'll hang up na. Bye." I ended the call after.

Late na pala ako.

The road is clean so it doesn't matter if I add speed. I arrived a minutes later.

It's already 9:36 so I decided to have a break time.

"Okay, have a break time muna, guys! then after we'll proceed to the part B." I told them, calmly.

I sat on my chair and checked my phone. I have a message from Ate and Aimee.

From: Ate
How's you? si Aims? yung food niyo baka nagpapadeliver lang kayo ha, lagot kayo kay Mommy.
8:22am

To: Ate
We're fine. Of course not, I always cook sometimes when I'm going home late, she cooks.
9:40am

From: Aims
Ate, nakaalis na ako ng condo. Baka gabi na ako makauwi, ate ha? We have so many things to do pa e.
8:01am

To: Aims
Okay. Aims call me if uuwi kana, susunduin kita. Wag kang sasakay ng taxi, also eat the foods I prepared ha.
9:44am

I put down my phone and I saw Charles walking towards me, holding a bouquet.

"Hi. What's up?" he asked, I just smiled. "For you nga pala." he gave me the bouquet of roses.

"Why? what for?" I asked. "Hmm, wala lang. I just want you to know that I appreciate you." he replied.

I just smiled at him. "Oh well, thank you." I replied. Nakita ko naman si Alex na papasok.

"Hi, Alex. What's up?" I asked. "Let's eat, sa faculty. Andun na yung iba." I stood up.

"Tara na, Irene." Charles uttered. "Ah mauna kana. I will talk to Alex pa e." I replied, he nodded and left.

I let him sit first before I sit in my swivel chair.

"Ano yan?" he asked. "Flowers. Sayo nalang" I uttered and gave him the bouquet.

"Aanhin ko naman yan, gurl? Tsaka sino ba nagbigay?" he asked, I chuckled.

"Si Charles. I don't even know why. Lagay mo sa vase mo or whatever. Tapon mo kung gusto mo." I replied.

"I don't accept things from other guy e." I added, he laughed.

"Pero kapag siya?" he asked. "What about him?" I asked, too.

"Pero kapag siya, kahit ano tatanggapin mo basta galing sa kanya. Sus, Victoria!" he even laughed.

"There's nothing wrong about it." I replied.

"Oh sige na nga. Tara na sa faculty." he uttered and stood up.

I looked at my phone and it's already 9:57, our class will start again in 10:00.

"My class is about to start na, Alex." I told him.

He looked at me. "Fine. Padalhan nalang kita dito" I smiled.

"Thanks!" I replied, he smiled and left.

Nakita ko naman nagpapasukan na ang mga alaga ko.

"Guys, pwesto na! We're about to start." I told them.
