"....Or pata hai daadi raat ko bearish bhi aa gayi. It was so beautiful, humne bahot maze kiye."
Taani finished telling them about their small weekend getaway, of course leaving some small sessions, the couple was sitting with Harsh and Rajni along with Vandana and the kids in living room while others were at work. Twinkle was in her room resting as she was having a slight ache in her back.
Harsh said laughing as he patted her head,
"Puttar sun ke achha laga tune enjoy kiya, achhi baat hai. Chalo jao dono jake rest karo, thak gaye honge."
It was evening time, as Taarey got late while returning home so Rey decided to stay at home itself when he said,
"Dadu, hum rest aake karenge. Actually abhi I came to know Ashish ghar pe hai, office nahi gaya to soch hum dono usse milke aate hain, usse surprise de denge. Or dinner bhi karke aayenge."
Rajni nodded,
"Thik hai beta, jao dono enjoy karo."
Taarey smiled and soon came out of the house, Rey opened the car door for her and she sat in the passenger seat while he came to the driving side. He started the car when she asked,
"Aaj achanak Ashish bhai ke ghar kese?"
Rey just shrugged,
"Uske ghar jaane ke liye mereko kabhi kisi reason ki zarurat nahi, jese usse yahan aane ke liye. Ye samjh lo, mera, ashish or swayam ke teen ghar hain jahan hum muh uthake kabhi bhi aa jaa sakte hain."
Taani smiled hearing him, she could feel the love he has for his best friend and prayed to God to keep it intact, but she couldn't brush away the slight anxiousness she felt regarding this. She tried to shake it,
Kuch ni Taani, maybe Reyansh se pehli bar kuch chhupa rahi hai, or Ashish bhai bhi to tereko aisa lag raha hoga.
She sighed sitting silently when he played some music, it was drizzling softly outside the car and the duo got stuck in a traffic jam, Rey sighed groaning,
"Seriously, ye jam bhi abhi milna tha, ab pata nahi kitna time lagega isse hattne mein."
Taani grinned at him and said,
"Koi ni, achha hi hai, we can enjoy rain sitting here. See outside!"
Rey complied to her and couldn't help a smile lifting on his face seeing the rain pelting on the car and nodded at her who smiled back as they entwined their hands enjoying the rain while the jam increased if possible.

Ashish's house
"Uff, itni baarish, ab main ghar kese jaungi?"
Naina pouted looking outside the window of Ashish's living room while he just sat on the sofa admiring her pouting face and the view outside. Sighing he walked up to her and took her in a back hug making her smile and he smooched her head softly,
"Achha hai na, you'll stay here with me for some more time."
She blushed looking down as he kissed her cheek softly from the back and then nuzzled his nose there. she sighed breathing heavily as she said,
"Ashish!! What are you....."
Before she could have said, he turned her around and said,
"Baarish or tum, I don't think isse favourite combination kuch ho sakta hai mere liye."
She smiled stupidly before wounding her arms around his neck as he kissed her forehead. She sighed when he muttered,
"But we can make this more special....."
"Vo kese?"
She asked when he said turned on the music system there through his voice command and saying,
"So my love, wanna dance?"
Naina grinned and nodded immediately as he grinned.

She was gonna take a step back for dance when Ashish held her waist tightly. She looked at him confused when it turned to bafflement as he pulled her closer making her step on his feet and standing there not even leaving an inch gap between them. her breath was stuck as he held her tightly and started swaying.

Naina closed her eyes as he threw his head in her neck breathing her scent in while she hugged him hiding her face in his chest as they swayed to the beat. Their heartbeats syncing to each other and the music.

He rotated her around him holding her index finger making her giggle before bringing her in his arms and hugging her from back as he kissed her neck softly. She shivered slowly before she pushed him and ran away from there giggling. He laughed shaking his head at his childlike woman and ran behind her.

Here, Rey and Taani were lost in each other as he caressed his thumb on her hand, she smiled looking at him lovingly while he passed her one too. The music filled the car with the sound of the rain making their hearts crazy. He saw the love in her eyes and raising his hand wiped the corner of her eye slightly before leaning and kissing her forehead.

Ashish and Naina ran around the whole room, near the dining, the couch, over the table, in between the curtains before he caught her and rotating her around pinned her on the wall. Her breath hitched as she saw their proximity, he was so close that she could feel his hot breath on her face.

She tried escaping when he caught her hands and pinned her on the wall again, his head bent down as he started kissing her neck and sucked it at some spots. Naina gasped throwing her head back as his stubble and slight mustache grazed her skin while his lips traveled all around her nape and throat without stopping.

Rey leaned down kissing her button nose briefly making her smile, before he leaned down and kissed her cheek. Smiling she held his face and kissed on his forehead and then his cheek. The duo moved back, he so wanted to kiss her but knew in the car between other vehicles won't be a good idea to start something they can't finish. He pulled her in his arms and she readily went lenaing her head on his chest as they listened to music and waited for the traffic to end which soon did.

Before Naina could know she was in his arms bridal style, she was anxious when he started moving somewhere thinking where he might take her. she wasn't ready to go anywhere beyond that. But her anxiousness turned to pure love and amazement when he instead moved out in his garden letting them get drench in the rain. She squealed as she felt the rain engulfing them making him laugh as he rotated around with her still in his arms.

There giggle stopped as he put her down and pulled her closer. The duo smiled before he leaned and kissed her square on the lips, she reciprocated without missing a beat kissing him back. her hands cupped his face while his clutched her head in place.
He sucked and licked her lips before biting the lower one making her gasp giving him entry. He entered his tongue inside her mouth making her moan as the duo tangled in a heated battle, their tongues grazing each other while he won it, sucking it and biting it softly making her moan and go breathless.
The duo broke the hug soon leaving each other flushed and dazed, he gazed at her seeing her huffing to catch her breath when she whispered,
"I love you Ashish! I love you so much!"
He grinned, kissing her forehead while she slumped on his chest as he spoke in her hair,
"I love you too mera bachha!"
Saying that he again kissed her temple when the duo heard a voice that managed to shake their whole world and soul,
"What is happening here?"
Their head snapped in the direction only to see a highly furious and confused Rey standing there with a nervous and anxious Taani beside him while the former glared at them who was in each other's arms. Naina took a step back seeing her brother's gaze plastered on them and whispered fearfully,
"Bhaiii....."
Ashish looked at her scared face and then at his best friend who wore the look of dejection, betrayal, hurt and anger along with pain. He knew he would have to handle everything now, knowing Naina was scared as hell. He knew the doom was near, he knew it will be a test but one thing he didn't had a doubt about was he won't anymore disappoint Naina by leaving her hand. He would fight for her, even if it means fighting with his best friend because he too couldn't live without her.
With the same intent he forwarded his hand and held Naina's in his before looking back at Rey as the four people drowned in the heavy rain. Rey's eyes glued to where his best friend held his sister's hand and then at Naina who was looking at Ashish fearfully and with love. He thought why he couldn't see love in the duo's eyes before, and said,
"Everyone inside now!"

The room was deadly silent, not even a single sound was made after Ashish completed telling them – or just Rey – about how he and Naina came together. All the time Rey didn't knew what to feel, his little sister and best friend was in love since years, and when they got together they couldn't find it in themselves to share it to him. the reason, because they were scared he wouldn't understand?
He didn't knew what to feel hurt about? That they didn't trust him enough to share with him? Or they didn't believe that he would understand their love and support them? Or that they were scared of him believing he would separate them?
His heart broke thinking all this. Was he never a good brother? Or a best friend? That they showed such little trust on him?
His eyes went to them where they were sitting, Ashish was still holding her hand comfortingly while Naina and him looked at Rey for some reaction. He wanted to smile seeing the gullible nature, how would he have a problem when he knew Ashish is the bets guy he could have chosen for Naina? His heart was in fact happy seeing how much care Ashish has for his sister, whenever just now he was telling him about their love story, about how and what Naina means to him, he could see nothing but pure love in Ashish's eyes. He was happy, how they thought he won't be? Just because eof their age gap, didn't Taani and he had the same? Then how can he mind theirs?
But now, all this happiness was hidden behind the hurt, the hurt that their lie and betrayal gave him. Moreover, their point of views gave him. It pinched his heart that they thought so low of him. Naina's lips trembled as she found no reaction from her brother and said in a low voice,
"Bhaiyuu...plz say something."
Rey looked at her and smiled and chuckled sadly,
"Say? What do you guys want me to say? That I won't accept you both? That I don't approve of you both being together? Isn't that why you gusy didn't tell me anything? To ab kyu chahte ho main kuch bolu?"
Ashish and Naina fidgeted at their place uncomfortably seeing Rey's face screaming hurt, nothing but hurt and pain. Naina shook her head,
"Bhaiyu aisa nahi........."
Rey chuckled sadly, "To kesa hai Naina bachha? Didn't you both think the same about me? Kyu? Tumhe laga ki main approve nahi karunga mere best friend or tumhara sath hona. Maybe because of your age difference, jo ki mere or Taani mein bhi hai. And even when you both know main tum dono se kitna pyaar karta hun, itna ki meri jaan bhi de sakta hu. Tab bhi bas itna believe tha mujhpe?"
The coupel shook their ehads, Ashish bowed his head in shame knowing he didn't anger or disappoint his best friend but broke his heart. and he knew somewhere he would have appreciated Rey's anger and disagreement because seeing the emotions right now, was just telling him how he hurt Rey who always treated him as family.
While Naina whimpered and sobbed hearing her brother. She couldn't believe she hurt him so much, him who was a father-like fugure in her life. Rey saw his sister cry but he was too hurt to care any less. He asked hurt and disappointed with a lump in his throat,
"Kya main itna bura best friend or bhai tha?"
Their heads snapped in his direction while Taani looked at her broken husband, she so wanted to hide him away and take his pain away but knew she don't have that right at the moment. Purely for the fact she too was a part of their lie, she knew and yet she didn't tell him. while here the couple wanted to tell him that they failed, but not Rey.
Ashish shook his head saying,
"Pagal hai kya Rey? Kesi baatein kar raha hai? Me and Naina failed, in trusting you, teri koi galti nahi hai......We.....We are sorry!"
He chuckled sadly and asked, "Sorry? ....Tum kyun sorry bol rahe ho? Mujhe bolna chahiye sorry ki main tumhe kabhi itna trust nahi dila paya apne aap pe ki I will support you both till my last breath and that mere liye tum dono ki happiness se zyada kuch important nahi hota. I am sorry that I failed to make you guys believe in myself, agar main fail nahi hota to tum dono sabse pehle aake mereko batate, jese Sanskar or Taara ne tujhe bataya Ashish."
Ashish looked down ashamed while Naina sobbed, when Taani couldn't take it anymore she moved closer to him and held his arm,
"Rey, calm down, unki baat to sun lijiye..."
He looked at her in disbelief and asked, "Taani? You are still asking me to listen to them? They lied....to me...to you...to everyone? Still you're?"
Rey shook his head in disbelief, but looked at her curiously when she looked down for a second, her eyes filling with guilt and shame. He felt a stake piercing his heart as he imagined possibilities of the guilt on her face and eyes. He didn't want to believe it but right now, he couldn't let it go when it was in front of him when he asked in a low whisper,
"They didn't lie to everyone........" AshNa's eyes widened knowing where this was going while Taani's breath hitched. AshNa stood up terrified when Rey asked taani the words all of them were dreading,
"You knew about them...didn't you?"

Ooopsss, Rey knows.....and he is hurt! Btw, who didn't expect this reaction rather than opposite actually? Who all thought he would be furious?
