Author's POV
"Beautiful!"
That was the first word that escape Taani's mouth once she descended the speed boat with Rey's help. The island was full of flora all around, long trees overshadowing everything, a stone path that she knew stretched far long and the cover of the night leaving behind the shining ocean along with darkness all around which was tried to hide from the light of the lamps that were lit throughout the path.
Rey smiled asking, "Achha laga?"
She immediately nodded without a second thought making him chuckle when she heard a car stopping just near them. Mark loaded their luggage when he asked extending his hand,
"Let's go?"
She looked around the nature, her heart wanting to just walk till their destination, and as if he ehard her he asked,
"Wanna walk?"
She looked at him surprised and nodded without a delay, giving her hand in his instantly,
"Yes!"
He smiled, asking the man to take their luggage to farm house, while he ushered her forward walking towards the farm house which wasn't at all far. It was a 6-7 minutes walk maximum and she couldn't be happier about her decision.
He pulled her closer hugging her side ways as they walked on the isolated island, their feet moving in sync on the stony path way which was lit by the lamps all around. She kept her head on his chest as he pulled her closer, their breaths mingling as they walked slowly taking the scene in. The bright light of the moon and stars falling on them. The atmosphere was serene, they were silent knowing they don't need words to destroy this moment. It was tranquil as the way it was, and they were happy.
Rey was gazing at her and stopped suddenly but she was in a trance and was walking ahead when a hold on her ahnd stopped her, she turned surprised asking,
"Kya hua?"
He denied looking at her intensely before moving towards her and picking her up bridal style making her squeal,
'Reyansh, what are you........"
He chuckled rotating her once around again making her shriek and hold onto him tightly as he said,
"Doing? Well, I would rather walk like this with you in my arms."
Saying that he started walking towards the farmhouse with her, she smiled adjusting herself holding him tightly as she swinged her legs happily while he walked. Taani's eyes shined seeing the farm house in front of her that was surrounded with long trees and stone structures. Her heart leaped in her chest thinking they'll stay here.
Rey noticed her expressions and felt elated that he brought her here, knowing she liked it a lot. He walked inside and the duo saw their luggage kept there. Rey rotated around giving her a glimpse of the living room. she squealed seeing it and asked,
"Rey, put me down. I want to see the place."
He clicked his tongue bouncing her in his arms for a second making her shriek and close her eyes holding him tighter as he said,
"Nope, I'll show you around like this."
She glared at him saying, "Reyansh, Mark ya kisi househelp ne dekh liya to?"
He shrugged walking towards the kitchen saying,
"Koi nahi dekhega, coz koi hai hi nahi. Mene staff se kaha tha safai karke and kitchen stuff karke chale jaye. Ab Monday ta kiss island pe humare alawa koi nahi hai."
Taani looked at him surprised and asked,
"Koi bhi ni?"
He just shook his head as he took her to show the garden area and then started walking towards his bedroom, "Nope, it's just as I said before - you, me and.........."
He entered their bedroom seeing which her eyes lit up at the interiors seeing the beauty of the place when he put her down and pulled her closer caging her in his arms and bit her cheek softly making her broke into a fit of laughter as he tickled her at the same time,
"And our loads of romance!"
She giggled as he stopped his ministrations and sighed, when he pecked her forehead softly,
"Hungry?"
She looked at him pouting and nodded eagerly,
"Bahot zyadaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!"
He chuckled smooching her pout for a couple of seconds, then her nose before saying,
"Let's go down, food is ready."
Saying that he again picked her up, she huffed swinging her legs and asked as she rounded her arms around his neck,
"Aap do din mereko har jagah aise hi le jaane vale hain?"
He made a thinking face while descending the stairs and then said,
"That's the plan. Koi problem?"
He made an attitude face and asked raising his brows, she acted zipping her lips like a scared chil and shook her head. He chuckled at her antics before taking her to the dining table, he sat there with her on his lap. She settled comfortably without arguing knowing he won't budge, moreover she was too hungry to give a thought.
She looked through the food and squealed seeing her favourite dishes – Matar paneer, pulao, chicken gravy and parantha. Even the dessert was her favourite mango mousse. She looked ta him happily as she asked,
"Ye kab kiya?"
He shrugged, "I knew you were tired isliye aaj ki dinner preps mene staff se bolke karwayi thi, and abhi or surprises or preps baki hai."
Her eyes started shining as she heard him, she sat comfortably on him, serving dinner for both of them. The duo ate with him feeding her the first bite and she did the same, she enjoyed the food thoroughly moaning in between making him smile. She was now so changed then the shy, timid girl whom he met when he went to see her for marriage. And he can't deny he was loving this change, it was a change for good.
She was shedding all her inhibitions, all the baseless stereotypical, patriarchial things that were fed to her since childhood, and he couldn't be happier to see her living her life like a free spirit. He vowed to never ever cage her, or reign in her wings because she got them recently and was just having a taste of what freedom and life mean.
He loved seeing her doing things for herself now, smiling from her whole heart, doing everything a girl her age does. He loved the confidence that now oozed out of her, even though she was still his shy dove, but he knew she wasn't underconfident anymore.
The duo finished their meal, and were having the dessert when something mischievous crossed her mind, smiling naughtily she forwarded the spoonful of mousse to him. He was going to eat it when she immediately pulled the spoon away and ate it, he was left looking at her amused as she giggled seeing his face.
His lips pulled up in a smirk as he said,
"I see someone is in a playful mood."
Taani looked at him with the childlike innocence and naughty face that made him want to do things to her she would blush after knowing. She showed him her tongue and before he could react stood up and ran away, Rey got up immediately and followed her saying,
"Ohh, it's on!"
Taani shrieked as he increased his speed to catch her and ran away, the duo climbed the stairs hurriedly, running in the hallway towards their bedroom. Laughter was echoing all around as the entered the room, Taani tried to run away but her leg slipped due to her heels and she was gonna fall, but she fell straight in his arms backwards and he caught her before she could have touched the ground with his hands on her belly. Before she could have known she was in the air as he rotated her in circles shouting,
"Caught you!"
The duo laughed loudlya s he finally stopped and kept hugging her from back, they slumped towards each other trying to catch their breath as he tightened his hold. He stopped laughing seeing her still giggling, his eyes taking her laughing face in, drinking it with his eyes, memorizing it. She too stopped laughing seeing he was no longer, her face slightly turned towards him and she felt herself squirming at his gaze, it was boring holes into her. The room which was filled with laughter before now was only echoing sounds of anxious breaths, raised heartbeats and their silent communication. Taani noticed his eyes darkening as his gaze ran from her eyes to her lips, settling on the latter for more than a few seconds making her conscious as he again looked in her eyes.
It was difficult for him to stop himself now, but he didn't want to ruin the surprise that was still left. Though he was sceptical if she would appreciate that surprise or not, he was sure he would leave it on to her to decide if she likes it and engage in it or not. But he truly wanted her to engage in whatever he had planned for them.
He asked in his husky voice, raising the trembling in her body and trepidation in her heart,
"You wanna freshen up?"
She sighed hearing him, and nodded softly, if he would have been steps away he might not even have noticed the slight movement. He smiled muttering,
"Come!"
Taani frowned as he moved away, but still holding her hand started pulling her towards the bathroom. She was suddenly feeling, confused, conscious, anxious and all the other things together, not able to understand why he was taking her to the bathroom.
Her confusion was turned to astonishment as he guided her inside only to come across the huge bath with marble flooring and a tub which was right now decorated with candles lit all around, bubble water and rose petals. While the window near it that had the view of the beach was covered with golden fairylights. She could feel her heart expanding with love seeing the preparation along with shyness and embarrassment. She heard his husky whisper near her ear,
"Kesa laga?"
She felt a shy meek smile coming on her face as she muttered,
"Beautiful!"
He smirked softly seeing her face, before hugging her from back and said,
"I won't force you to do this if you are not comfortable, I just wanted to do something special, so I did this." Saying that he left her, and moved a step back as she turned, he smiled smirking softly as he raised his t-shirt removing it and saying,
"But I would love if you join me, jaan. It would be special for me."
Saying that he started walking inside the bathroom still looking at her taking backward steps while she was just standing their with her heaving breaths, red-flushed cheeks and anxious heart. She was bewildered seeing the preparations, the insinuation of what this meant making her more shy than ever. But somewhere she wasn't uncomfortable, and what bursted her heart with over-whelming love was he gave her a choice even though she knew he so wanted her to do this. And somewhere, what amazed her was she herself wanted to join him, but didn't know how to because she was too shy to speak it out loud.
She turned around only to see him relaxing in the tub and waiting for him, sighing she knew she had a decision. Shedding everything that was stopping her knowing both of them really wanted this, she went out of the room to get ready. Rey sighed thinking she didn't want to join him and closed his eyes, cursing himself for making him uncomfortable not knowing he was in for a surprise.
He opened his eyes soon with the noise of the footsteps, only to feel them widen as he saw her standing there just in her inner wear. She was looking at him with bafflement, red cheeks, timid eyes and lips biting. He smiled to make her comfortable, he could feel himself bursting in joy seeing the step she took. While Taani was fumbling with her fingers feeling nervous even though she wasn't completely naked, she just couldn't find the strength to shed all her clothes and hence decided to keep her lingerie on.
He forwarded his hand for her to hold, Taani looked at him and then at the hand before holding it in a soft grip while he held it formly. He helped her inside the tub, she entered keeping her feet first and then sat down turning her back towards him as he pulled her closer making her sit between his limbs.
She sighed feeling the mass of bubbles surrounding her and consuming her frame, hiding her which gave her a little comfort which was short lived as she realised he was sitting naked behind her. her cheeks flushed more if possible but she tried to calm herself down,
It's okay taani, it's just Reyansh, you don't need to be conscious when it's him.
She sighed as she tried to relax herself, which soon worked as she felt him taking some water and spilling it over her shoulder making her squirm before he rubbed her shoulder and arms to comfort her. she relaxed more and leaned on to him making him smile as he pulled her closer kissing her head softly before muttering,
"Thanks! I really wanted to have this time with you."
Taani smiled softly, entwining their fingers together, "Me too!"
Rey halted for a second, feeling himself stoned at his place as she said that. He couldn't believe she actually said it, shedding all her shyness away, it made him immensely happy that she felt comfortable in sharing her desire with him. Not finding words he just kissed her forehead from back, muttering,
"Relax! It's just you and me!"
She nodded sighing, surprised that he knew what she needed to hear, soon she started relaxing as he continued to pour water on her hands and then legs, rubbing her belly, arms and shoulders softly. He poured water on her leg and caressed it softly making her breath hitch for a second and then sigh at the relaxing limbs. She was playing with their fingers, as they talked about stuff with him pressing soft kisses on her head and shoulders.
Life like this was perfect, in each other's arms, feeling of love and peace surrounding them from every side. They couldn't have asked for more. the duo was loving the moment, trying to overlook the sexual tension that was rising between them.
Rey could feel himself getting hard whenever she would mistakenly move closer to him, unwillingly grining on his lower while she too couldn't believe that she just wanted to turn around and kiss him forgetting everything. She was aware of his condition, and knew he was stopping himself, which made her desire more prominent. The atmosphere and setting wasn't helping her either, and before she could have known she tilted her head back looking straight at him.
Rey saw her face waiting for her to say something, when she surprised him as he leaned towards his face to kiss the corner of his lips. He smiled softly as she moved back, he looked in her eyes and for the first time saw her eyes reflecting desires that was now in his too. He kept gazing at her intensely, when she leaned cupping his one cheek in her palm as she kissed his lower lip softly before kissing the both of them. she kissed him softly which did nothing to quench his thirst, rather increased it. The next second she felt his hand firmly cupping her nape angling her head as he deepened the kiss making her gasp, he shoved his tongue inside her mouth tasting every corner leaving her breathless. Their tongues tangling in a battle, which he won sucking hers and biting it softly.
He broke the kiss for a second to take breath, when he again captured her lips in a passionate kiss while his hands moved towards the clothes, removing them. soon the duo drowned into the pool of passion as they forgot everything around them. he took her to their world where always only the both of them existed and nobody else. It was their time, and they made each moment memorable.
