Owen's POV
It took a few hours and some convincing to get Doc Roberts to sign out both Sean and our mystery lady. She saved our lives, and I still don't even know her name. Once I had both of them in the car, I asked her where I was headed.
"Are you familiar with the Walker cottage on Ballard Road?" she said in a small voice.
Sean and I exchanged a comical look. "Yes, darling, quite familiar with it." She tilted her head like a puppy in confusion. "Apparently we're neighbors."
She slapped her forehead and groaned, "By the Goddess what is going on here?"
"Your guess is as good as ours, Miss?"
"It's Eveleen," she replied. Sean let out a snort when he noticed the lack of a last name. I shot him a glare.
As I neared the property, I asked, "Would you mind coming to our house. I'd like you to meet the rest of my brothers, I think we all need to hear your answers."
She nodded in agreement. "Well, I've already met two of them - Luke and North, but sure, the more the merrier, I suppose."
Sean gave me a look and I nodded. He sent out the text message - Emergency family meeting now at the house. Hopefully, our new neighbor would have some answers.
