Andekhi Anjaani : Epilogue (Posted on 01- May - 2022)

This is a supernatural story. Abhishek is a werewolf in this. I am using some creative liberties and letting my werewolves have the power of compulsion/mind control and some other things as well.

The title of the story is inspired from Teen Wolf.

Please Note: Since I wanted to go with a cool/hot Dad, I'm going with the hottest Dad from ITV history, Ronit Roy

And a warning, the supernatural elements of this story is not romanticized as my previous supernatural stories. Some might find it dark.

Pragya keeps out her dress for the next day and double checks if she has everything ready. Satisfied she sighs.

"Are you excited for your first day of work?" Disha asks her.

Pragya turns to her and nods in confusion.

"You are still not happy?" Disha asks her exasperated.

Pragya sighs sadly as she looked away.

"You've been desperate to get a job and now you got it, you're still not happy?" Disha asks her shocked.

Sadly, Pragya walks to the window and says, "I just don't know."

"Pragya, I think you should consult a doctor." Disha tells her in concern.

Pragya looks into the darkness of the night.

"For no apparent reason you are sad. You are depressed. You should see a doctor. They will be able to help you." Disha tells her gently.

"I feel I don't belong here. I feel this is not my place." Pragya tells her melancholically.

"Pragya, you're an orphan and have lived all your life in an orphanage. So, you will have this longing to belong. It is true but you need to get help. It has come to a point where nothing is making you happy." Disha tells her worriedly. "I'm really worried for you."

"Doctor is not what I need." Pragya stubbornly says.

"Then what?" Disha asks her fed up.

As if in answer they hear a wolf howl in distance.

Instantly Pragya feels a sense of relief and longing fill her.

"This place is getting infected with wolves." Disha says in worry. "Every night I'm hearing them."

"It is one wolf." Pragya tells her.

"How do you know?" Disha asks her baffled.

"It sounds the same."

"They all sound the same." Disha tells her incredulously. "Anyway, I'm going to bed. Good night." Disha tells her and leaves the room.

Pragya looks out the window and hears the wolf howl again. it was the strangest thing, the howl made her feel as if she belonged and a sense of longing at the same time. sighing, she walks to the bed to sleep.

After finishing off formalities with the HR, Pragya was waiting to meet her boss.

"Come, Pragya. Boss is here." The HR tells her as he led her to the Boss' room.

Pragya nervously and worriedly follows her, as it was the first time she was meeting her boss and her very first job.

"May we come in?" the HR asks as he opened the door a little.

"Yes, come in." Pragya hears a manly reply.

"Come, Pragya." HR tells her as he opened the door for Pragya.

Pragya walks in and her breath gets caught seeing the handsome man standing by the window. His gaze piercing into hers.

"This is your personal assistant - Pragya."

Abhishek nods then he turns his gaze to the HR, "Neil, right?"

"Yes, Boss." Neil replies.

"Did you fill Pragya in about all her duties?"

"Yes, Boss."

Abhishek nods. "You can leave."

Neil nods and leaves the room. Abhishek turns his gaze back to Pragya and sees Pragya staring at him.

"Why are you looking at me like that?" Abhishek asks her softly.

Pragya immediately averts her gaze. "Sorry." Pragya whispers as her heart slammed against her chest. She had no idea why she was feeling all these emotional reactions in seeing him.

"You can go. I'll call you if I need anything." Abhishek tells her in a dismissing tone.

"Yes, Boss." Pragya replies.

"You don't..." Abhishek starts and stops himself.

"Yes?" Pragya asks him.

"Nothing... you can go."

Pragya nods and leaves the room.

Pragya was taking her lunch break as she met the other staff.

"Pragya, right?"

Hearing the question, Pragya turns to the voice and sees a girl. Pragya nods. "Yes."

"I'm Purvi. I'm in accounts."

"Hi, Purvi." Pragya replies with a smile.

"Neil told me you had joined." Purvi tells her as she sat next to her.

They were talking as they had their lunch when another girl comes to them.

"Did you see the kid?"

"Who?" Purvi asks confused. "Pragya, this is Rachna. She is also in accounts. Rachna, she is Pragya, Boss' PA."

"Oh you're the new PA?" Rachna asks her with a smile.

"Yes. Nice to meet you." Pragya tells her with a smile.

"Same." Rachna tells her as she sat down with a smile.

Pragya smiles. After a long time, she was starting to feel happy. Maybe, this job was the change that she had needed.

"What kid were you talking about?" Purvi asks her curiously.

"Oh yeah... a kid... actually baby girl... she is here with Boss' Dad. Neil was saying that she is Boss' daughter. about 5 years. I didn't even know he was married." Rachna informs her.

"No way." Purvi says in shock. "He is just 25... if that is his daughter then he would have got his wife pregnant at the age of 20. 21 is legal age for marriage for men."

"19." Pragya corrects her.

"What?" Purvi asks her confused.

"9 months gestation period. So, he would have been 19." Pragya explains as she stood up finishing her food.

"That's right." Rachna agrees. "Maybe she is his niece." Rachna guesses with a shrug.

Pragya had just about reached her desk when her phone starts ringing and she quickly answers it.

"Yes, Boss?"

"Pragya, come to my cabin." Abhishek tells her on the phone.

"Yes, Boss." Pragya replies and hanging up the phone, she quickly hurries to his room.

"May I come in, Boss?"

"Yes."

Pragya walks in and sees an elderly man and a small girl with Abhishek.

"That is Papa. Veer Mehra." Abhishek tells Pragya.

Pragya turns her attention to the elderly man and smiles at him. "Hello, Sir."

"How are you, beta?" Veer asks her with a loving smile.

Pragya smiles at him in reply.

"And this is Ashina." Abhishek tells her in a soft voice.

Pragya turns to the girl and smiles at her.

"Hello, Ashina." Pragya tells her with a smile.

"Hello." Ashina replies happily smiling.

"Pragya..."

Pragya turns to Abhishek.

"If you're done with your lunch, can you take Ashina to get ice cream?" Abhishek asks her.

Pragya turns to the small girl and sees her expectantly looking at Pragya. Pragya smiles. "Sure, Boss."

Ashina smiles even more and she runs to Pragya and hugs her tightly. Pragya stops in shock. Her heart skipped a beat and she didn't know why.

"Ashina!" Veer calls her name in shock. Then turning to Pragya, he tells her gently. "Sorry, she is missing her mother."

"That's okay, sir." Pragya tells him with a smile as she lovingly caressed her hair. "Let's go?"

"Yes!" Ashina replies excitedly as she raised her arms up for Pragya to lift her up.

"You are a big girl, Ashina... walk." Veer tells her.

Ashina turns to look at Abhishek and gives him her most irresistible puppy face.

Abhishek shakes his head with a tender smile and turns to Pragya. "If you don't mind..."

"Sure." Pragya smiles at Ashina and picks her up.

Ashina quickly wraps her hand around Pragya's shoulder and waves at Abhishek and Veer bye.

"Ashina is a beautiful name. do you know what it means?" Pragya asks her conversationally as she started heading out.

"She wolf!" Ashina declares excitedly.

"Wow... that's what it means?" Pragya asks her surprised.

"Yes."

"And are you a wolf?" Pragya asks her teasingly.

In reply, Ashina tries to howl making Pragya chuckle and Abhishek roll his eyes.

Once Pragya and Ashina left the room, Veer turns to Abhishek and asks him. "Why are you doing this, Abhi?"

"Pragya was not happy. She was looking for a job for last couple of months. She was starting to look depressed." Abhishek replies.

"Why does she need a job?" Veer asks him confused.

Abhishek shrugs in reply.

"Which flavor do you want?" Pragya lovingly asks Ashina as she shows her the ice cream options.

"Strawberry." Ashina tells her smiling excitedly, her eyes twinkling.

"Even I like strawberry." Pragya tells her excitedly.

Ashina smiles and lean towards her and kisses her cheek. Pragya smiles feeling the kiss. Her loneliness and depression disappearing as if it never existed. Pragya's eyes fill up and she lovingly kisses Ashina's cheek.

Abhishek who was watching it with tear filled eyes, sighs sadly.

"I don't know what you are trying to do, Abhi." Veer tells him softly.

Abhishek sadly watches Pragya and tells his father. "It's been months since I saw her smile like that."

"This is wrong, Abhi."

"Let Ashina and Pragya be with each other for some time now." Abhishek tells his father in finality and walks off.

More than two decades ago, Veer had come to Bareilly with his son after the death of his wife and younger son in an accident. Seeing Abhishek getting withdrawn and becoming a recluse due to grief, the only solution that had come to him was to get him a friend. Ever since he could remember his family had led a recluse life due to them being werewolves. And since Abhishek was a small boy of 4 years, he couldn't take the risk of Abhishek interacting with the outside world and exposing their secrets. So, he went with the only option he could think of.

"There are a lot of formalities to adopt a child. You can't just take home a baby today. lot of verifications and paper works are required." The orphanage matron informs him.

"I told you about my son's condition. We'll take care of all the formalities but let me take him home for now."

"it is not possible. There will be major problems if an inspection comes."

"how much do you need to bypass all that?" Veer asks her.

She stops in greed hearing that as her mind starts quickly thinking of an easy solution. "There is an option."

"What is it?" Veer asks her.

"We got a 3 years old baby today. We haven't started the paperwork yet. So there is no record of the baby here actually."

"Excellent." Veer says happily.

"But it is not a boy. It is a girl."

"Girl?" Veer stops in shock.

"Yes, someone left her at the entrance. If you're ready to take her then you can."

Veer thinks for a bit and finally agrees.

An hour later, Veer walks to his son's room and sees him lying on his bed sadly.

"Abhi..." Veer lovingly calls him as he walked to Abhi holding Pragya's hand.

Abhishek turns to look at his father and stops seeing the girl with him.

"This is Pragya and Pragya, this is Abhi." Veer tells them.

Abhishek curiously looks at the girl and then looks at his father in confusion.

"Pragya is going to be with us from now on. She is also my daughter." Veer tells him. "From now on, you both are going to be friends and take care of each other."

Pragya turns to Abhishek and Abhishek also looks at her. seeing him look at her, Pragya smiles at Abhishek and seeing that, Abhishek smiles at her.

"You seem so happy." Disha says, smiling happily.

"I'm happy." Pragya tells her, smiling.

"Is it the work?" Disha asks her.

"I think so." Pragya replies.

Disha chuckles. "If I had the money that you have then I would never work."

Pragya laughs it off dismissively.

"Aren't you even a little bit curious to find out who is giving you so much money every month?" Disha asks her curiously.

Pragya shakes her head in a no. "Whoever it is, was my sponsor when I was in my orphanage. All throughout my life that person has taken care of me and in return all they wanted was to be anonymous. I am not going to take that away from them."

Disha hesitantly tells her. "You know... it could be one of your parents."

"maybe... maybe not." Pragya says with a shrug. "It doesn't matter."

"You're so strange, Pragya." Disha tells her, shaking her head.

Pragya chuckles.

"Anyway I'm lucky that I got such a nice place to stay for such low rent." Disha tells her cheekily.

Pragya chuckles. Disha had replied to the ad she had placed for a paying guest and they had hit it off since the moment they had met.

"Good night." Disha wishes her as she leaves the room.

"Good night." Pragya wishes her back as she walks to the window.

She was happy today. her thoughts went to Ashina. Pragya couldn't control her smile remembering how Ashina had got close to her in seconds. They had spent a long time having ice cream and talking. It didn't feel like she was meeting Ashina for the first time, it felt like they had known each other forever.

Pragya sighs as she smiled, her thoughts then drifting to her new boss. There was something about him that made her nervous and some strange feelings in her. the way he had looked at her and the way she couldn't take her eyes off him, this strange connection she had to this stranger and his family was unexplainable. And she didn't ponder on things that she didn't understand. So, Pragya brushes it off.

She hears a wolf howl in the distance. Pragya couldn't help the smile and whispered softly, "Good night, wolfie."

Then chuckling she walks to her bed as she whispers. "She wolf."

"last full moon before I turn 20." Abhishek tells Pragya as he checks the calendar.

Veer curiously looks up from his newspaper and sees Pragya and Abhishek. Pragya lying on the floor reading a book and Abhishek busy engrossed in the calendar.

"How do you feel about it?" Pragya asks Abhishek as she turned to look at him.

"After that I would know whether I am a werewolf or not." Abhishek tells her as he looks at her with nervous excitement.

"Do you want to be one?" Pragya asks him, the first full moon after he turns 20, if he was one, he would turn for the first time, and all his life Abhishek had been curious whether he was one or not, as there was no other way for them to know whether he had inherited his father's werewolf genes.

"It would be nice to be fast and strong like Papa. He can hear anything and smell from miles away." Abhishek says reverently. "And I'll be able to compel people." Abhishek excitedly says.

Veer shakes his head in exasperation.

Pragya smiles seeing his excitement. Then asks him worriedly, "Will you be disappointed if you are not?"

Abhishek looks at her and says with a shrug. "there are chances that I am human. Bua is human."

"I'm human." Pragya reminds him.

"Do you want to be a werewolf?" Abhishek asks her curiously.

Pragya thinks for a second. "If you're human then no."

"And if I am a werewolf?" Abhishek asks her.

Pragya thinks for a bit. "I don't know." Then she says in a dismissing tone. "If I feel like being one, then you can bite me."

"Okay." Abhishek agrees with a grin.

"What are you talking?" Veer asks in exasperated shock.

Pragya and Abhishek cheekily grins at him.

Veer shakes his head with a loud sigh.

"with the way you two are talking I am scared to leave you both here and go."

Abhishek and Pragya chuckle hearing that.

"You both better listen to Raj and do everything he says." Veer tells them, Raj was Veer's most trusted man and the caretaker and cook of the family.

"When will you come back, Papa?" Pragya asks him curiously.

"Soon. 4 days maximum."

"But Papa will you be able to manage the full moon?" Abhishek asks him worriedly.

"I'll be fine, Abhi. don't worry." Veer tells him with a smile.

Since, they led a recluse life, their main source of incomes were ancestral properties, share market and financing businesses around the country. How much ever he tried to stay away from the public, there were times when he has to make these business trips.

"And I want to finish off this before you turn 20. If you turn, then I want to be here with you then." Veer tells him lovingly smiling.

Abhishek smiles at him hearing that.

Pragya was briefing Abhishek about his work for the day.

"What is his name from legal?" Abhishek asks as he brainstormed.

"Dandi." Pragya replies.

"Yeah, have him attend the meeting on my behalf." Abhishek tells her.

"Okay, Boss." Pragya replies as she made a note.

"Regarding the meeting about the budget, have that finance guy... what is his name?" Abhishek asks confused.

"Atish. Boss, don't you know anyone's name?" Pragya asks in shocked surprise.

Abhishek turns slightly pink hearing that. "I'm not good with names." Abhishek tells her, he wasn't used to knowing so many people, he was just getting the hang of it.

"I'm surprised you know my name." Pragya tells him smiling.

"How can I ever forget your name?" Abhishek asks her without thinking.

"What?" Pragya asks surprised. "what do you mean?" she asks him confused.

Abhishek quickly looks away hearing that question, wanting to kick himself. Then he says a little nervously. "you have a very common name."

"Yeah, that is true." Pragya replies smiling. She liked talking to him. it didn't feel like she was talking to her Boss. There was some comfort level with him, that she couldn't understand. And she didn't ponder on things that she didn't understand.

Abhishek smiles seeing her smile.

"That's it, Boss." Pragya tells him.

"Okay, you can go." Abhishek tells her smiling.

Pragya turns to go then she stops and asks him curiously. "Will Ashina be coming today?"

"She has school." Abhishek replies.

"Oh okay." Pragya replies then she stops and asks curiously. "Boss... your wife..."

Abhishek's heart skips a beat and he informs her softly. "I'm not married."

"Oh." Pragya awkwardly looks at him. "Sorry, Boss... I thought, Ashina is your daughter... I'm sorry." Pragya says feeling embarrassed.

Abhishek frowns in anger and outrage as he stood up. His loyalty to both Pragya and Ashina getting offended at the insult to Pragya. "Ashina is my daughter. don't you dare ever think otherwise."

Seeing his anger, Pragya quickly nods in yes. "I'm sorry, boss." Pragya says and quickly leaves the room.

Abhishek tries to calm himself as he looked at his hands. His claws had come out and he had pierced his palms with them. he sighs in desperation and depression. When was he ever going to learn control?

"My head is splitting, Pragya." Abhishek moans in pain as he cried gripping his head.

Pragya hugs him as tears spilled from her eyes. "What is happening to him?" Pragya asks Raj worriedly.

Raj helplessly looks at her and then Abhishek.

"Pain killers are not working." Pragya tells Raj as she cried.

"It's a full moon. Maybe..." Raj stops nervously.

"But he is going to be 20 only next month." Pragya reminds him as she pressed his head gently to ease the pain.

"I tried calling Veer sir, but he isn't answering his phone. He might be preparing for the full moon." Raj tells her as he walked to the window and looked at the sky. His heart skips a beat seeing the moon come out.

Abhishek screams loudly as he arched on the bed.

"Abhi?" Pragya calls him in fear as she held him.

"Get away from him, Pragya." Raj tells her scared seeing that.

Abhishek screams in pain as he lifted his hand.

"Abhi..." Pragya whispers in shock seeing claws.

They hear a loud cracking sound and Abhishek screams in pain. He quickly grabs Pragya's hand, clawing her. Pragya screams in pain.

"Pragya!" Raj runs to her and grabs her hand in fear.

Pragya holds Abhishek's hand hearing him scream as fangs came out. Then they hear another loud crack, his bones cracking and reforming to that of a wolf's.

"I won't leave him." Pragya struggles to free herself.

Abhishek growls at her.

Raj grabs her and hurries out of the room.

"He needs me." Pragya screams as she struggled against Raj.

"He will kill both of us." Raj tells her as he pulled the door close and locked it.

"He won't hurt me." Pragya vehemently argues.

Raj grabs her hand and shows her hand where he had clawed her.

"He was in pain." Pragya tells him as she held her hand that was killing her.

"He is a werewolf and he has no control over himself now." Raj tells her.

Pragya helplessly cries as she looked at the closed door hearing Abhishek screaming in pain.

They listened to a long time as Abhishek screamed in pain. Then it went silent for a second and they hear him howl.

Pragya stops hearing that. her heart slamming against her chest realizing that Abhi had finished his transformation.

Then they hear Abhishek howling and then banging against the door.

Pragya starts to walk to the door, when Raj pulls her back in fear. "He can smell your blood."

"What?" Pragya asks him confused.

"it is the blood. He can smell it. Come with me." Raj tells her as he grabbed her hand and hurried of to get first aid.

After dressing her wound, they come back to hear Abhishek howling and banging on the door trying to get out. Pragya sits outside the door and Raj sits with her.

"We shouldn't be sitting here." Raj worriedly tells her.

"He won't hurt us." Pragya tells him.

Raj shakes his head. "Till he learns to control himself, he can hurt us." then turning to look at her, he tells her, "And he can hurt you also."

Pragya looks away and asks him hurt. "Will it hurt him always?"

"With time, it will stop hurting him. that is what Veer Sir told me."

"You sure?" Pragya asks him worriedly.

"Have you ever heard Veer Sir cry in pain? Only when we hear the howl from the forest, we remember that it is full moon, right?

Pragya nods.

"He is going to take some time to learn to control and adjust to it. that is why Veer sir got the basement ready for him for his transformation."

"He won't go with Papa to the forest?" Pragya asks him confused.

"Till he has control over his aggression and blood lust, it is not safe for him or anyone around him to let him out in the open." Raj tells her.

Pragya sighs and informs Raj. "He doesn't know that."

"He has no choice, Pragya."

After a long time, everything quiets down and it was just silence around them.

"It's over." Raj tells her as he stood up. "You go sleep, Pragya."

"What if he needs me?" Pragya asks him as she started to unlock the door.

"Let him sleep now. see him in the morning." Raj tells her. "Let him rest."

Pragya nods, giving in. Raj walks off and Pragya watches Abhishek's room for a few seconds. She was about to walk off, when she hears a faint "Pragya..."

Pragya quickly unlocks the door and opens it. she stops in shock seeing Abhishek lying on the floor naked.

"Pragya..." Abhishek whispers softly.

She hurries to him and sees him sweating profusely and tired. "Abhi..." she gently calls him as she tried to help him up.

Abhishek holds her as he struggled to get up. "I feel drained."

Pragya helps him as she held him and stops in shock seeing that he had developed muscles. He had got more filled out and fit. Abhishek hugs her, bringing her back to her senses. Pragya helps him to the bed.

Pragya puts the blanket over him to cover him up.

"Don't leave me." Abhishek tells her as he held her hand.

Pragya gets on the bed with him and hugs him. Abhishek rolls over and hugs her. Abhishek promptly passed out while Pragya spent the night awake, very much aware of his nakedness next to her and her body's desire for him.

Early morning, Pragya had gone to her room to take her shower. After that she had come to check on him and finds his bed empty. She was about to leave when the bathroom door opens and Abhishek steps out smiling excitedly, dripping wet with a towel around his waist.

Pragya gulps seeing him like that. her heart beats raising.

"I heard someone walking by." Abhishek excitedly tells her. "Then heard someone come into the room. I could smell you, and I just knew it was you."

Pragya walks to him and gently caresses his chest. Abhishek stops in shock feeling her touch. He stops breathing in shock realizing how his body was reacting to her touch.

"Pragya?" Abhishek nervously whispers.

Pragya leans towards him and kisses his chest, and gently sucks in the water droplet.

Abhishek keeps his hand on her waist and holds her gently, his heart raising against his chest.

Pragya nervously looks up at his face and Abhishek who was watching her, leans down. Pragya leans up and their lips meet.

Growling hungrily, they start kissing each other passionately. They run their hands over each other, desperately wanting to feel each other. Feeling his hardness against her, Pragya unknots his towel and Abhishek quickly starts removing her clothes, wanting to feel her skin against his.

Blissful and happy, they snuggle in bed as they tried to catch their breath.

"I thought we would be doing all this only after marriage." Abhishek tells Pragya.

Pragya looks at him and tells him hotly. "Marriage can wait, I couldn't."

Abhishek grins hearing her and he takes her earlobes in mouth and sucks on it. "Then why did you make me wait for so long?"

Pragya moans in pleasure. "You never came naked in front of me before."

Abhishek chuckles. Pragya hugs him tight.

"I did this?" Abhishek softly asks her as he ran his finger over her bandage.

"You were in pain and was trying to hold my hand." Pragya tells him.

Abhishek takes her hand and kisses her wound.

Pragya smiles and asks him, "Are you happy about being a werewolf."

"Not as happy as I am about this."

Pragya blushes as she smiled happily.

"Raj is coming." Abhishek quickly tells her.

Pragya gasps in worry as she started to get up.

"No, wait." Abhishek tells her as he jumped out of the bed and dressed up in seconds. He turns to Pragya and sees her looking at him in shock. Abhishek gloats as he ran to the door and stepped out to intercept with Raj.

Few minutes later, he comes back in.

"Spoke to Dad. I told him that I'm fine and there is no need for him to come back early."

"True." Pragya agrees. "Did Raj ask about me?"

"Told him you are sleeping. He has some work." Abhishek tells her as he locked the bedroom door. "You ready for round 2?"

Two days later, Veer came back. he was listening to Abhishek, Pragya and Raj fill in on their experience when he notices Pragya's hand.

"How did this happen?" Veer asks her in concern, his heart skipping a beat in worry.

Pragya shrugs in reply.

"Pragya?" Veer calls her to get an answer.

"I did." Abhishek confesses.

Veer gasps in shock as he stood up, completely pale.

"It is healing, Papa." Pragya tells him.

"Oh my God." Veer whispers worriedly.

"What happened, Papa?" Abhishek asks him confused.

Veer shakes his head worriedly. "Pragya is not safe." Veer whispers worriedly.

"What do you mean Pragya is not safe?" Abhishek asks frowning in concern as he stood up.

"Pragya and Raj, both of them are not safe." Veer whispers.

"From me?" Abhishek asks angrily. "You think I would hurt them? that I would hurt Pragya?" Abhishek asks furiously.

"Till you learn control they are not safe, Abhi." Veer gently explains to him.

"No." Abhishek angrily says.

"Abhi would never hurt us, Papa." Pragya quickly tells him.

Seeing Abhishek getting angrier and his breathing escalating rapidly, Veer looks at his hands and sees that his claws were out already. "Pragya... Raj... step back."

Raj quickly leaves the room.

"Pragya!" Abhishek calls her furiously, his fangs coming out as he extended his hand for her.

Pragya was about to take it and go to him, when Veer quickly pulls her back and shields her behind him. seeing that Abhishek growls at him angrily.

"Look at you, Abhi. not just full moon, till you learn to control yourself, every time you get angry, you are going to turn." Veer tells him in a calming tone.

"Don't say that I would hurt Pragya, then I won't get angry." Abhishek furiously tells him.

Seeing that he was starting to turn, Pragya frees her hand from Veer's and runs to Abhishek and hugs him. "Don't scream at Papa, Abhi. I know you won't hurt me."

Abhishek quickly hugs her as he tried to calm himself.

Veer stops in shock seeing the scene in front of him, realizing that they were not just best friends, that they were in love.

Next day, Veer had tried again.

"I've told Raj to go home for a few days." Veer informs him.

"Because you think I'll hurt him?" Abhishek asks him angrily.

"Only on full moon he has to..." Pragya starts to tell Veer.

"You saw how he started turning when he got angry." Veer reminds her.

Pragya remains silent hearing the question.

"I will not hurt anyone." Abhishek argues.

"You don't want to hurt anyone, Abhi. but when you turn till your mind learns to control your wolf nature, you can hurt others." Veer gently reasons with him. "It is not your fault. It is our curse and we have to accept it and learn to control it."

"I'll learn." Abhishek promises.

"I know you'll." Veer tells him lovingly smiling at him.

Abhishek smiles gently hearing that.

"But till you learn, it is safer for Pragya to stay away for some time."

"NO!" Abhishek furiously screams.

"I won't go anywhere." Pragya stubbornly says.

"Pragya... I spoke to Roop, you go and stay with her for a few months." Veer tells her.

"Months?" Abhishek growls in anger.

"Pragya... see, he has no control." Veer helplessly tells her seeing Abhishek's anger.

"Because you are trying to send me away. I won't go to Bua's." Pragya stubbornly says angrily.

"Pragya will not go anywhere." Abhishek says angrily.

"If you love her, then do this for her safety, Abhi." Veer earnestly begs him.

Hearing that Abhishek stops and with tear filled eyes he steps back.

"I won't go!" Pragya angrily says. "Even if you send me to Bua's house, I'll come back."

Fed up and with no other choice, Veer holds her nape and pulls her forward, his eyes piercing hers. "You are going to go to Roop's house. You are going to go to your room and pack your things. then I am going to drop you to Roop's house. you will stay there and be happy with them. You will forget Abhi, me and this house. you are going to believe that Roop is your aunt and you've been living with her since your parents' death. Anything that you don't understand or make sense to you, you will not ponder on it." Veer finishes and sighing regretfully, he lets go off Pragya and steps back.

Pragya closes her eyes and after a breath she opens them. "I've to go to Bua's house."

"Pragya?" Abhishek softly calls her.

"Yeah?" Pragya turns to him curiously.

Seeing her looking at him as one stares at a strange, Abhishek's heart breaks. "Don't you remember me?" Abhishek asks her, his world crashing around him.

Pragya shakes her head in negative. "I've to pack my stuff." Pragya hurriedly says then turning around she runs to her room to pack.

"You compelled her?" Abhishek asks Veer horrified.

"You both made me do this." Veer tells him, his eyes filling with angry tears.

"How could you? You made her forget me." Abhishek tells him, his eyes filling with tears.

"You are not the only one who loves her, Abhi. she is my daughter and I'll do anything to keep her safe." Veer tells him.

"I am going to make her remember me." Abhishek says angrily as he started to go after Pragya.

"Only the one who compelled can break the compulsion." Veer reminds him.

Hearing that, Abhishek screams out loud in fury.

A month later, Veer sighs in pain hearing Abhishek howling. Ever since Pragya had left, he had been wolfing out and losing control that he was forced to lock up Abhishek in the basement for hours.

"I need Pragya, Papa." Abhishek cries to him as Veer came to check on him.

"You are spiraling out of control, Abhi." Veer worriedly tells him. "How can Pragya be safe here?"

"Then we will turn her to a werewolf." Abhishek tells him desperately.

Veer looks at him horrified. "Not everyone survives a werewolf bite. Sometime the bite can kill you, Abhi."

"I need Pragya, Papa." Abhishek tells him as he broke down.

"Once you learn to control your shift, we'll bring her home. No one will separate you then."

"I need Pragya with me. without her, I won't be able to control myself."

Veer helplessly sighs as he wondered whether that was true? Was Pragya the anchor that kept Abhi connected to his human side?

Hearing his mobile ring, Veer takes it out and sees that it is Roop.

"Hello, Roop?" Veer answers the call.

Hearing that, Abhishek eagerly looks at Veer as he listened to the conversation.

"Pragya has been throwing up for the last few days, so I took her to the doctor and the doctor said she is pregnant." Roop worriedly informs him from the other side.

Abhishek was in his cabin as he listened to Pragya go about her day. he was happy that she was making friends and starting to look happy like her old self. He could hear her talking to everyone, then working on the laptop and sometimes answering the calls. He wanted to see her but he didn't want to make Pragya suspicious by showing undue attention to her.

He was listening to Pragya when he feels the familiar scent. He sits up in guilt and surprise. He starts to head to the door when he hears Ashina excitedly ask "Guess who?"

Abhishek stops as he hesitated near the door.

"Purvi?" he hears Pragya asks excitedly.

"No." Ashina replies.

Abhishek opens the door and steps out to see, Ashina covering Pragya's eyes and standing behind her chair.

"Rachna?" Pragya asks smiling happily.

"No." Ashina replies, starting to sound disappointed.

Hearing the disappointment, Pragya asks, "Is it She wolf?"

"yes!" Ashina excitedly replies as she moved her hands from Pragya's eyes. "How did you know?"

Pragya turns to her and happily pulls her close to her. "I knew it was Ashina baby."

"But you didn't guess right." Ashina reminds her.

"That is because I wanted to play with you." Pragya tells her.

Ashina smiles hearing that. "Even I like playing with you."

Pragya smiles as she lovingly kissed her cheek.

Ashina kisses her back then noticing Abhishek, she smiles at him.

"Dadu knows that you came here from school?" Abhishek asks her.

Ashina shakes her head in no.

"Then how did Raj drop you here? did you lie to him that I asked you to come here?" Abhishek asks her.

"No."

"Then?"

"I told him to drop me here and I'll come home with you." Ashina explains.

"Hmmm." Hearing his mobile ring, he checks his phone and sees that it was his father.

"Dadu?" Ashina asks him.

"Yes."

"I want to stay here." Ashina tells him pouting sadly.

Abhishek smiles and says, "Okay."

Ashina smiles happily hearing that. Abhishek grins as he walked back to the cabin as he answered his father's call.

Ashina turns to Pragya and happily hugs her. Pragya picks her up and makes her sit on her lap.

"How was school?" Pragya asks her happily.

"Good."

"Who is your best friend?"

"Papa."

Pragya smiles hearing that. "And in school?" Pragya asks her.

Pragya and Ashina were talking about Ashina's school.

"Uffo, Mama! Pia Ma'am is my PT teacher. Mia Ma'am is English teacher. I like Pia Ma'am." Ashina tells her hitting her head. "You are just like Papa, always calling Pia Ma'am, Mia Ma'am."

Pragya stops in shock hearing her.

Seeing Pragya staring at her in shock, Ashina gasps covering her mouth realizing that she called Pragya, Mama. "Sorry." Ashina worriedly says.

"It's okay, baby." Pragya quickly tells her.

Ashina looks down worriedly.

Pragya cups her face and tells her, "It's okay, baby. it happens."

Ashina nods as she continued to look down. "I'm going to Papa." Ashina softly tells her and slides off Pragya's lap and runs off to Abhishek's cabin.

Ashina opens the door and looks at Abhishek. Abhishek lovingly calls her to him with a head gesture. Ashina runs to him. Abhishek lifts her up and makes her sit on his lap.

"Sorry. I accidentally called Mama, Mama." Ashina tells Abhishek.

"She is your mama and you can call her Mama." Abhishek gently tells her.

"But you'll have to make her forget that later." Ashina tells him sadly.

"I'm sorry, Ashu." Abhishek tells her regretfully.

"It's okay, Papa. We are keeping Mama safe." Ashina hugs him as she rested her head on his chest.

Abhishek kisses her on top of her head. "Don't be sad, Ashu."

"Is it really okay?" Ashina worriedly asks him.

"Didn't Mama say that it is okay?" Abhishek asks her, smiling.

Ashina smiles in relief.

Abhishek smiles at her lovingly. "Go and be with your Mama."

Ashina smiles happily and hugging him tight, she kisses his cheek. then she jumps off his lap and runs out of the room to Pragya.

Abhishek runs out of his house hearing the approaching car. The car comes to a stop and Pragya runs out of the car.

"Abhi..." Pragya calls out to him as she ran to him.

Abhishek quickly envelopes her in a hug.

"I didn't want to go away." Pragya tells him as she hugged him tight.

"I know."

"Why did you let Papa sent me away?" Pragya asks him angrily feeling hurt.

"He made you forget me." Abhishek reminds her as tear spilled from his eyes.

"I don't know how I forgot you." Pragya tells him sadly as she looked at him.

Abhishek wipes her tears and hugs her tight.

"Are you angry with Papa?" Pragya asks Abhishek that night in bed.

"What he did was wrong. He shouldn't have done that. but whatever he did, he did thinking to keep you safe." Abhishek replies. "Are you angry with him?"

"Yes." Pragya replies.

"Don't be." Abhishek gently tells her. "You're back, right?"

"Hmmm. You sure that nobody can hear what we speak inside the room outside?" Pragya ask curiously.

"Yeah. That is how Papa made this place."

"Hmmm."

"But I'm sure Papa knows that you're here." Abhishek tells her grinning.

"I don't care. I'm not leaving your side." Pragya tells him stubbornly.

Abhishek chuckles then he keeps his hand on her stomach. Pragya smiles and keeps her hand over his.

"Do you want a boy or a girl?" Pragya asks him.

"Does it matter? It's our baby, right?" Abhishek asks her smiling.

Pragya smiles hearing that.

"By the time we get married, our baby would be with us." Abhishek tells her.

"Does it matter?" Pragya asks him back smiling.

Abhishek smiles hearing that.

"I'm going to be fine." Abhishek reassures Pragya.

Pragya nods in concern.

Abhishek walks into the basement and Veer locks the door from outside.

"You should go in with him." Pragya tells Veer in worry.

"He said he wants to do this alone. He wants to learn control." Veer tells her. "And he is learning. After you came back, he hasn't lost control."

Pragya nods.

"You go to your room, Pragya." Veer tells her.

"I want to be here." Pragya tells him.

"You shouldn't be taking any stress at this time. it's for your baby, Pragya. go to your room." Veer gently tells her. "Abhi is going to be fine. You know that."

Pragya nods giving in.

Veer smiles and lovingly keeps his hand on her cheek. "I've to go."

Pragya nods and Veer starts to walk off.

"I forgive you, Papa." Pragya tells him.

Veer stops and turns to look at her then guiltily he says, "I was wrong, Pragya. you're his anchor. You keep him connected to his humanity."

Pragya gently smiles hearing that then she worriedly asks him. "Are you angry with us?"

Realizing she was asking about the pregnancy he says, "I trusted you both. but at the end of the day, marriage is a formality to show the world that you are together and nothing else."

Pragya nods feeling relieved.

"You both are going to be together always, so marriage, truly doesn't matter." Veer tells her.

"I love you, Papa." Pragya tells him smiling.

Veer smiles then feeling his body starting to turn, he tells her, "It's time. I've to go."

Pragya nods and worriedly looks at the basement door and hears Abhishek screaming in pain.

"Oh... she is so beautiful." Pragya gushes holding her new born baby.

"Oh my God, I love her so much." Abhishek says unable to believe how much he loved his little girl as he kept his hand under Pragya's holding their daughter.

Pragya and Abhishek look at each other with happy tears, smiling so happily.

"Now, my turn." Veer tells them excitedly.

Pragya hands the baby to him. Veer picks her up and he also smiles through his tears.

"What is her name?" Veer asks them.

Abhishek looks at Pragya then smiling he turns to his father and tells him. "Ashina."

Side hugging, Abhishek, resting her head on his chest, Pragya informs Veer grinning "She is our she wolf."

"You two are putting too much pressure on her to be a werewolf." Veer teases them.

"Whether she will be a werewolf or not, she'll be our little wolf." Pragya tells him smiling.

"Are you sleepy, Ashu?" Pragya asks her daughter as she cradled her in her arms.

Exasperated Abhishek tells her, "How many times, Pragya? short of Ashina is Ashi not Ashu!"

"What kind of a name is it even? Ashi? This is my Ashu." Pragya replies.

"Ashi is a name!" Abhishek tells her.

"Not as cute as Ashu."

"Isn't Ashina so lucky to get such parents who are busy arguing when she is needing her nap?" Veer asks dryly.

Pragya and Abhishek stop and look at Ashina embarrassed and sees her looking so sleepy.

"Why are you so worried?" Pragya asks Abhishek as she breastfed Ashina.

"It's super moon tomorrow." Abhishek tells her nervously.

"But you're handling it much better than the first time." Pragya tells him.

"It's my first super moon, Pragya. Papa asked me to stay away from you both tomorrow." Abhishek tells her.

"Why?" Pragya asks shocked.

"Because it is not just night, throughout the day, we would feel the effects of the super moon."

"So, full day you'll be locked in the basement?" Pragya asks hurt at the thought.

Abhishek sits next to her and cups her face. "It's best, Pragya. Papa is also planning to stay away tomorrow. Moon has never been this close to earth before. If he is scared of handling it, then I'm also scared, Pragya. and it is not just us. it is about Ashi too."

Pragya nods and keeps her head on his chest.

"what is happening to her?" Pragya asks as she cried hugging a crying Ashina to her chest.

Abhishek and Veer worriedly watched Ashina screaming on top of her voice.

"Did you tried feeding her?" Veer asks Pragya.

Pragya nods crying as she shifted Ashina in her arms to make her comfortable.

"She was biting Pragya. almost drawing out blood." Abhishek worriedly tells Veer. "Still Pragya tried feeding her."

"Don't Pragya." Veer worriedly tells her.

"I'll try holding her." Abhishek tells Pragya as he extended his arms to Pragya.

Pragya was about to hand Ashina to him, when she notices his claws and pulls back in horror. "Abhi, claws!"

Abhishek looks at his hand and quickly takes it back as he fisted them. "It's the super moon." Abhishek tells her restlessly.

"You should go, Abhi." Veer tells him.

"How can I go leaving her like this?" Abhishek asks worriedly.

"You've to, Abhi." Veer tells him noticing Abhishek's body hair growing.

"How are you handling this?" Abhishek asks his father helplessly as willed his body to listen to him.

"I'm not." Veer worriedly tells him as he tried to control his shift.

Abhishek helplessly looks at Veer and then hearing Ashina screaming out in pain, he turns to look at her.

"It's the moon, isn't it?" Pragya asks worriedly.

"Papa... can you call Bua and find out if she is having any problems?" Abhishek asks Veer nervously.

Veer takes his phone and called his sister. As they spoke, Abhishek listened in on them.

Seeing Abhishek close his eyes and sigh, Pragya worriedly asks him. "What is Bua saying?"

Abhishek looks at her and guiltily looks at his daughter crying. "She is not feeling anything but Purab is having slight discomfort and body pain."

"It means..." Pragya stops in realization.

"Ashina and Purab are werewolves." Abhishek finishes for her.

"because the moon is this close they are also feeling it's effect." Veer deduces. "Abhi never felt it during the previous super moon. Even I never had any problem before I turned the first time."

Feeling his body starting to turn, Veer turns to Abhishek. "I can't stay anymore, Abhi. you also go now!"

"Pragya?" Abhishek turns to her worriedly.

"I'll manage." Pragya tells him. "Now I know that she is not sick. I'll manage." Pragya tells him as she hugged her daughter, unable to see her in pain.

Abhishek and Veer quickly leaves the room.

Pragya puts Ashina's head on her shoulder as she tried to put her to sleep.

Abhishek was about to close the basement door when he felt his leg twist and he falls down screaming in pain as his bones broke.

Hearing Abhishek howl, Pragya stops in confusion. Normally, she couldn't hear him from the basement, but now she could hear him clearly. Curiously, putting Ashina in her crib, Pragya goes to check.

Pragya walks down the stairs and was about to turn to head towards the basement when she hears a growl. Pragya stops in shock and turns around and sees a large wolf staring at her.

"Abhi?" Pragya whispers in shock, seeing him for the first time as a wolf. He was magnificent. So huge and beautiful. "You scared me." Pragya softly tells him, sighing in relief.

Abhishek growls at her ferociously.

The moment he growled at her like that, she realized that it was not her Abhi who was looking at his Pragya. it was a wolf looking at his prey.

Pragya's heart breaks and her eyes fill up. "Abhi?" Pragya softly calls out to him.

Abhishek starts to advance towards her when he stops and stared up.

At once, Pragya realized that his gaze was to Ashina's voice and smell. Fearing for her daughter's life she starts to run to the room when Abhishek growls so loudly and jumps in front of her blocking her way.

Seeing him staring at her, Pragya scared for her life, without taking her eyes off his, she nervously starts edging to the stairs.

Abhishek furiously growls as he blocked her path yet again. his gaze again going to Ashina's direction.

Pragya understood that he was blocking her path. Ashina was in no danger. Abhishek was protecting his cub and territory from her. Pragya nervously moves back and sees he slightly moving back and she realized he was getting ready to pounce on her. screaming for her life, Pragya runs.

Abhishek lands on the place that she had been standing. He growling starts running behind her. Pragya runs as fast as she could. but she feels his claws on her back and she was pushed to the ground. Pragya turns back and sees him menacingly advancing towards her.

"Abhi, it's me, Abhi." Pragya tells him as she cried crawling back.

With a loud growl, he jumps on her. he was about to bite her, when Pragya pushes him under his jaws, pushing his face away from hers. He fights back, his legs holding her down and again about to bite her when he was pushed away and another wolf jumped over them.

Pragya scrambles away from Abhishek as she watched another wolf standing between Pragya and Abhishek.

"Papa?" Pragya calls him as she cried.

The wolf turns to look at her, then he turns to face Abhishek. Abhishek was about to jump at her again when Veer jumped on him and pushed him away. Pragya watched in horror Veer and Abhishek fight.

Pragya runs out of the way, as she realized Veer was fighting and leading Abhishek to the basement. As they headed there, Pragya followed them and the moment both the wolves entered the basement, Pragya locks the door and falls down crying remembering how Abhi had tried to kill her.

Hearing a knock at the door, Pragya runs to the door and opens it. she finds Veer at the door. she looks behind to look for Abhishek and sees the hallway empty.

"Is Ashina okay?" Veer asks her.

Pragya nods in yes. "She stopped crying once the moon set. She is sleeping now."

"Are you okay, beta?" Veer asks her softly, his eyes filling with tears.

Hearing him, Pragya bursts into tears and hugs Veer as she cried.

"He wasn't in control. Otherwise he can never even think of hurting you." Veer tells her as he hugged her.

"I know." Pragya whispers as she cried out loudly.

"You should do first aid." Veer tells her smelling the blood.

"Would he have killed me?" Pragya asks him softly.

Veer gulps, even though he knew the answer, he couldn't answer her.

Understanding his silence, Pragya cries as she hugged Veer tight.

"Where is he?" Pragya asks Veer.

"Basement."

"He remembers?" Pragya asks him worriedly.

"Yes."

"Is he okay?"

Veer looks at her and tells her, "He is never going to be okay about this."

"I want to see him." Pragya tells him.

"After you do your first aid." Veer tells her.

Pragya tries to open the basement door and feeling it not budging, she realizes that it was locked from inside.

"Abhi... it's me." Pragya tells him as she knocked on the door.

When there was no answer and the door didn't open, she knocks again. "I know you can hear me, Abhi. open the door, please."

When he didn't reply or open, Pragya sits down and she caress the door. "I forgive you, Abhi." Pragya tells him as she cried. "I know you didn't mean to hurt me. I know that, Abhi."

She hears Abhishek roar in anguish. Hearing his pain, she cries as she started banging on the door. "Please open the door, Abhi. I want to see you."

"Pragya..." Veer calls her.

Pragya looks up and sees him looking at her sympathetically. "He wants to be alone now. give him some time."

"No... no! Abhi needs me." Pragya tells him.

"Pragya..."

"I need him, Papa." Pragya tells him breaking down. "I want him to tell me that he still loves me. I've to tell him that I still love him. I'm not going anywhere. I'll not leave Abhi alone."

They hear, Abhishek screaming in anguish and then they hear loud thrashing sound as he screamed in pain and fury.

"Abhi... Abhi..." Veer and Pragya starts banging on the door.

Then they hear him screaming in pain.

"he is turning." Veer whispers in shock. "Abhi open the door." Veer starts to bang on the door.

Out of pure panic and fear, Pragya quickly locks the door from outside.

Veer turns to look at her. Pragya guiltily looks at him.

"You should go to your room, Pragya." Veer gently tells her.

Pragya shakes her head in a no. "I can't leave him." Pragya helplessly whispers to him.

Hearing the door unlock, Pragya stands up as she watched the door open.

Seeing Abhishek, Pragya sighs in relief. "Abhi."

Guilt stricken Abhishek stood there with lowered gaze. Seeing that, Pragya hugs him. Abhishek breaks into sobs. He slides down and falls to his knees. Pragya kneels in front of him.

"It's okay, Abhi." Pragya tells him as she cried with him.

"Papa was right. you are not safe here." Abhishek tells her as he cried.

Pragya stops in shock hearing that, then cupping his face, she tells him. "No, Abhi. I wasn't careful. I shouldn't have come down. It was the supermoon. You should have gone down earlier."

"You're not safe here, Pragya."

"It happened once, Abhi. once you learn to control..."

Abhishek cuts her off. "I just have to be successful once and you'll be dead, Pragya."

"It won't happen again. we'll be careful." Pragya tells him.

"It won't happen again, Pragya." Abhishek tells her with finality.

Pragya felt a chill pass through her hearing the finality in his voice.

Abhishek looks up and sees Veer walking to them with Ashina in his arms. "I'm sorry, Papa. I should have listened to you." Abhishek tells him guiltily.

"I was wrong, Abhi. She is your anchor, Abhi. she keeps you connected to your humanity."

Abhishek scoffs in disgust as he looked away.

"Don't you believe it, Abhi?" Pragya asks him hurt.

Abhishek turns to her and tells her. "Yesterday, I could smell you and Ashina. I don't know whether it is the super moon, I got her werewolf scent. And I knew, she was my baby that I had to protect. And you..." Abhishek stops as fresh tears fell from his eyes. "And you... I just wanted to tear you into pieces."

Pragya closes her eyes in pain hearing that.

"You shouldn't stay here anymore." Abhishek tells her.

Pragya looks at him in shock. "I will not go anywhere. Ashina and I'll not leave you."

"Ashina is a werewolf, Pragya. she needs Papa and me, more than you." Abhishek tells her painfully.

Pragya looks at him in shock and outrage then furiously she says, "That is my daughter!"

"You don't separate a mother and her child, Abhi." Veer tells Abhishek in shock.

"I'll do anything to keep Pragya safe." Abhishek tells Veer.

"I will not go. Don't you dare send me again to Bua. I will die but I will not leave you."

"I'll not send you there, Pragya. not to another place where there is a werewolf." Abhishek tells her.

"She is not going anywhere, Abhi." Veer tells Abhishek sternly.

"Pragya has to go, Papa."

"I won't go!" Pragya tells him.

Abhishek moves closer to her, and quickly holds her by her neck.

"Turn me then, Abhi." Pragya tells him quickly realizing that he was going to compel her.

"I am a monster, Pragya. it kills me that because of me, our daughter is going to be a monster one day. I'll not push you into that hell. I'll protect you from myself and this curse." Abhishek vows to her as tears fell from his eyes.

Pragya stares at him in shock. Being a werewolf was something he had dreamt of almost all his life. and for him, now, it was a curse.

Abhishek pulls her closer.

"Please don't, Abhi." Pragya begs him as she cried.

"You are going to forget me, forget our love, forget our Ashina, forget Papa. You'll forget everything connected to me. you'll forget everything that connects us. you are going to go live in the house that Papa bought last week. You'll stay there. you'll live your life. you'll have everything that you need. A bank account to take care of all your needs. You'll not try to find out who is giving you the money. you will accept his need to be anonymous. You'll do everything that you want. You'll do everything that gives you happiness. you'll do everything that gives you peace. Anything that you don't understand or make sense to you, you will not ponder on it."

Abhishek stops and sees tears falling from her eyes. he leans down and kisses Pragya's forehead as he tried control his tears. "You are going to kiss Ashina goodbye and leave."

Pragya closes her eyes and then opening them, she walks to Ashina and kisses her.

"Stop her, Abhi. break the compulsion." Veer furiously tells him. "She is my daughter and Ashina's mother."

"You are not the only one who loves her, Papa. I love her and I'll do anything to keep her safe." Abhishek tells him.

"This is not keeping her safe. This is cruelty." Veer tells him angrily.

"But she will be alive." Abhishek replies.

"She slept?" Veer asks seeing Abhishek carrying in a sleeping Ashina.

"She was with Pragya, so missed her afternoon nap." Abhishek tells him.

"What are you getting by all this, Abhi?" Veer asks him fed up. "Can't you see how much she needs Pragya?"

"She knows why Pragya has to stay away from us."

"Till when?" Veer asks him.

"Till I learn to control this curse."

"It's been years and haven't you realized that for you to be in control, you need Pragya with you?" Veer asks him angrily.

"I am not going to experiment with Pragya's life."

Veer sighs furiously and asks him. "Ashina can't call her mother, Mama. Do you realize the stress that you're putting her on?"

Abhishek looks away feeling guilty remembering the earlier incident.

"Either you stay away from Pragya or bring her home. Stop playing this game and making her a fool." Veer tells him angrily.

"Pragya was so depressed and miserable. She was looking for a job. There was no other way I could help her." Abhishek tells him.

"Then you shouldn't have told Ashina about it. now, all she can think about is come to your office and spent time with Pragya."

"I've never hid anything from her and I can never hide anything from her."

"What about all that you're hiding from my daughter?" Veer asks him angrily.

"I'll bring Pragya home one day, Papa." Abhishek tells him and starts to walk off.

Noticing Purab watching them, he asks Abhishek. "When?"

"I told you..." Abhishek replies.

"And are we going to wait till Purab learns control then?" Veer asks him.

Abhishek turns to look at Purab and sees him watching them awkwardly.

"We'll move to Pragya's place." Abhishek replies.

"Abhi..." Veer starts and Abhishek stops him.

"You don't have to always argue, Papa. I'll not take a chance with Pragya's safety." Abhishek tells him in finality.

Hearing his mobile ring, Abhishek checks it and seeing it is his father, he answers the call. "Hello?"

"Papa..." Ashina says from the other end. "When will you come?"

"I'll come soon. Mama is still here. So, once she finishes work and leave, I'll come home."

"I'll come there?" Ashina asks excitedly.

Abhishek listens to what Pragya was doing realizing that she was finishing up work, he tells Ashina. "Mama is done with work, Ashu... she is about to leave."

"Okay." Ashina says with a disappointed sigh.

"You can come tomorrow." Abhishek tells her.

"Okay." Ashina says perking up.

"Hi Pragya." Abhishek frowns hearing Neil's voice. "Baby, I gotta go."

"Okay. See you soon, Papa. Muah."

"Hi Neil." Abhishek hears Pragya's reply.

He could hear her smile in her voice and he started breathing fast as he felt anger, jealousy and possessiveness rise in him.

"I was wondering if you wanted to go for coffee."

"Oh... I was just leaving." Pragya disappointedly says.

Abhishek's claws come out and he fists his hand getting angry at Pragya's disappointment.

"Not today, tomorrow." Neil quickly clarifies.

"Yeah sure." Pragya replies smiling.

Abhishek furiously stands up overturning his chair.

"Cool... it's a date then."

"What?" Pragya whispers confused. "Neil... I..." Pragya starts and at the same time, Abhishek furiously roars.

Meanwhile, at their house.

"You are so slow, Dadu. I'll play." Ashina snatches his phone from him and starts playing.

"I'm slow?" Veer asks sarcastically. "You are still not a werewolf and you're saying I'm slow?"

"I'm a werewolf. When I turn I'll be so fast that you won't be able to catch up with me." Ashina tells him.

"Just like your Papa and Mama, you're so full of yourself and arrogant." Veer tells her.

"Really?" Ashina asks happily, her eyes wide. Then hugging him, she tells him. "Thank you, Dadu."

Veer chuckles as he hugged her. "Okay, you show me how to play."

"Okay." Ashina replies and starts to play.

Veer was watching her play when he hears Abhishek's roar. His heart skips a beat realizing Abhishek was furious about something. He starts to get up when Purab comes running. "Did you hear Bhai roar?"

"What?" Ashina asks worriedly. "What happened to Papa?"

Hearing the roar, Pragya and Neil stops in confusion. They look at each other.

"Did you hear that?" Pragya asks Neil.

"Sounded like a wild animal." Neil replies confused.

A second later, Abhishek furiously comes out of his room. his claws and fangs out. His facial hair overgrown.

"Oh my God." Pragya whispers in shock seeing him.

"Why is he looking like that?" Neil asks in shock.

Abhishek menacingly growls.

"Pragya, get back." Neil tells her as he tried to pull her behind him.

Furiously, roaring, Abhishek jumps forward and pulling Pragya's hand, he pulls her close to him.

"Leave me!" Pragya screams in panic.

And that was it for Abhishek, overcome with jealousy and possessiveness, he stares into her eyes and screams. "REMEMBER! REMEMBER ME! REMEMBER EVERYTHING!"

Pragya blinks her eyes once and it was like a curtain lifted from her mind. "Abhi!" Pragya calls out to him as she started crying. "Abhi!" Pragya cups his face as she kissed his cheek, then she started kissing him all over his face.

"Pragya..." Abhishek whispers feeling relief rush over him. her love and kisses calming him down.

Abhishek closes his eyes in bliss as his claws, fangs and hair retrieved.

"Abhi... I love you." Pragya tells him as she cried loudly. "Where were you all this while? Don't you love me anymore?"

"I do... more than anyone else." Abhishek replies as he kissed her and hugged her tight.

"Don't ever go away from me again." Pragya tells him as she hugged him tight.

"Mama?" Ashina softly calls her.

Pragya turns around in shock and sees Veer standing with Ashina in his arms. "Ashu! My baby!" Pragya calls out to her as she ran to her. Pragya picks her up and kisses her all over her face. "Oh my God... I can't believe it is you. you've grown so much." Pragya says through her tears and then she stops in realization and turns to Abhishek in anger.

"You made me forget." Pragya accuses him.

"You remember, Mama?" Ashina asks her in shock and surprise.

Pragya turns to look at her daughter, she nods in yes and overcome with love, she kisses her. "I'm sorry, I forgot you, my baby." Pragya tells her amidst tears and kisses.

"It is okay, Mama. It was to keep you safe." Ashina consoles her as she hugged Pragya.

Pragya turns around and angrily asks Abhishek. "How could you do this to me?"

"It was to keep you safe." Abhishek guiltily explains to her.

"It was my choice to make. NOT YOURS!"

"Don't scream at Papa, Mama." Ashina worriedly tells her.

Unable to show her anger in front of their daughter, Pragya turns to Veer and asks him. "How could you stand by and let him do this to me?"

"If I had the power to break the compulsion, I would have, beta." Veer sadly tells her.

"You had the power to tell me the truth." Pragya reminds him.

"You wouldn't have believed me." Veer says shaking his head.

"I would have." Pragya argues stubbornly.

"You wouldn't. It is not an easy thing to believe, Pragya." Veer gently points out to her.

Pragya shakes her head in pain.

"He always fought with me for you, Pragya. it was my decision alone. No one else had any part in it." Abhishek tells her.

"You both betrayed me. you kept my daughter away from me."

"It had to be done, Pragya." Abhishek tells her helplessly.

"I don't care."

"It was for the best." Abhishek tells her.

Hearing him say that, Ashina asks him worriedly as she held Pragya tight. "Are you going to make Mama forget again, Papa?"

"No, he is not." Pragya angrily replies.

"Don't be angry, Mama. Papa was keeping you safe." Ashina tells her sadly.

"He is going to continue keeping me safe by staying away from me." Pragya declares as she glared at Abhishek.

Veer immediately moves to her. "Pragya, I can understand, beta. but let's just go home and sort this out."

"No! I'm not coming anywhere." Pragya tells him. then she warns Abhishek. "Don't come near me again, Abhi."

Pragya turns around and walks out with Ashina.

Ashina worriedly looks at Abhishek. Abhishek puts on a fake smile and gestures that he'll handle it. Ashina smiles seeing that and waves bye to him as she hugged Pragya with her other hand.

After Pragya left, Purab walks in and asks them. "what am I supposed to do with him?"

Glaring furiously, Abhishek looks at a terrified Neil who was held by his collar by Purab.

"Who is this?" Disha asks surprised seeing Ashina with Pragya.

"This is my daughter, Ashina. Ashu... this is Mama's friend."

"I know. Disha Aunty." Ashina tells her smiling.

"How?" Disha asks surprised.

Realizing Abhishek might have told her about Disha, Pragya tells Disha. "I'll explain everything later."

"Okay." Disha nods though still shocked out of her wits finding out that Pragya has a daughter.

"I'll talk to you tomorrow." Pragya tells her, not in the mind frame to come up with a possible story or lie to explain to her friend.

Disha nods then noticing Ashina smiling at her, Disha smiles at her. "It is nice to meet you, cutie pie."

"You know everything, Ashu?" Pragya asks her.

"Yes, Papa tells me everything." Ashina replies with a smile.

Pragya smiles, her eyes filling up and she lovingly cups her face. "I can't believe that you're my Ashu."

Ashina smiling happily, hugs her. "I love you, Mama."

"I love you, my she wolf." Pragya tells her softly chuckling and crying at the same time as she hugged her back.

Pragya and Ashina were talking to each other, when Ashina excitedly tells her. "Mama, give me your phone. I want to message Papa."

Pragya takes her mobile and passes it to her.

"I've saved his number as Boss." Pragya tells her.

"How do I spell Boss?" Ashina asks her.

"B O S S. What do you want to message him?" Pragya asks her curiously.

"Surprise." Ashina excitedly tells her. "Mama, cover your ears."

Seeing her excitement, Pragya smiling covers her ears as she curiously watched Ashina. Ashina moves a little away from her, then taking the mobile close to her lips, she whispers into it and sends Abhishek a voice note.

Pragya removes her hand and tells Ashina with a smile. "You go to school now. Papa and I have never been to school. We were homeschooled."

"Because Dadu was scared that you both might tell everyone about werewolves." Ashina excitedly says.

"Yes. Papa told you that?" Pragya asks smiling.

"Yes. Papa knows I won't tell anyone. Even if I accidentally tell anyone, Papa can make them forget." Ashina tells her.

Then they hear Pragya's phone beeping with messages, one after the other.

"It is Papa. Unlock Mama." Ashina excitedly tells her as she showed her the phone.

Pragya unlocks it and sees that Abhishek had send lots of photos.

"What photos are these?" Pragya asks her.

"See." Ashina tells her smiling excitedly.

Pragya opens the photos and gasps in shock seeing her with Ashina. "When.." Pragya starts and she instantly remembers. "It was my birthday." Pragya says, her eyes filling up.

"It is Papa's gift for you for your birthday. Full day, you'll remember me and we will be together." Ashina tells her.

Pragya remembering, says shocked. "And your birthdays too."

"That is yours and Papa's birthday gift to me." Ashina tells her smiling.

Pragya rakes her brains but she couldn't remember Abhishek in any of those. "Papa never came?" Pragya asks her.

Ashina shakes her head. "Only to make you remember me and then to take me home after making you forget."

"What about his birthdays?" Pragya asks her softly.

"He doesn't celebrate his birthdays." Ashina sadly tells her.

"We used to meet only on birthdays?" Pragya asks then remembering she says, "We met otherwise too."

"Whenever I miss you really badly and whenever Papa feels you're very sad then."

Pragya sighs as she looked away. she knew Abhi did try to give Ashu and her their time together but she was still angry that he took away a huge chunk of her life. sadly, she gets off the bed and walks to the window.

As she stood by the window, she hears Abhishek howling.

"That is Papa, right?" Ashina asks excitedly as she ran out of the bed to the window. "Mama, pick me up." Ashina tells her as she couldn't see out the window.

Pragya picks her up.

Ashina waves. "Good night, Papa. I love you. Muah." Ashina says giving flying kiss to him.

Abhishek howls in reply.

"Can you see him?"

"No." Ashina replies disappointed.

Pragya closes the window and walks back to bed.

"When I turn then I'll be able to see." Ashina excitedly tells her.

"Are you excited about turning?" Pragya asks her smiling, seeing her excitement.

Ashina looks down sadly.

"What happened, baby?" Pragya asks her in concern.

Ashina shakes her head.

"What is it, Ashu? Are you scared of turning?" Pragya asks her worriedly.

Ashina nods in yes. "Don't tell Papa. He will feel sad."

"I won't tell him." Pragya tells her as she sat down and made Ashina sit on her lap. "Tell me what are you scared of. Is it the pain?"

"Dadu said the pain will go away after a while."

"Then...?"

"But Papa still has pain. I've heard him scream when he turns."

"Even now?" Pragya asks shocked.

"He has no control. What if I also have no control, Mama?" Ashina worriedly asks her.

"You'll learn, Baby."

"What if I also hurt you, Mama?" Ashina asks her sadly, her eyes filling up.

"You won't hurt me, baby. and we will handle it better. I'll stay away and Papa and Dadu are there, right?"

Ashina nods.

Then remembering seeing Purab, she tells her, "Even Purab chachu is there, right?"

Pragya quickly calculates his age and says, "He might have turned only recently right?"

"three full moons."

"I just wanted to tell you something." Pragya uncomfortably tells him.

"Erm... yeah... sure." Neil nervously says.

"Yesterday when you asked for coffee, I thought it was a friendly invite, I didn't realize it was a date... I'm sorry, I can't do that."

Neil smiles in relief. "Oh that's okay. no problem."

Pragya was a little taken back seeing his relief.

"Okay then bye." Neil tells her smiling and walks off.

Pragya watches him walk off wondering whether Abhi not just took away his memory of Abhishek wolfing out in front of him and their reunion, maybe something else too. Confused, Pragya follows him and sees him talking to Purvi.

"Called off the date? But why?" Purvi asks him shocked.

"Thank God... I was wondering how to tell her that I didn't want to go on the date with her. luckily she herself called it off." Neil tells her smiling in relief.

"But what happened so suddenly? Till yesterday you were planning your wedding with her."

"Yeah, I was." Neil says shuddering. "Today, I saw the way she opens the door. Oh my God... it was such a turn off."

"what?" Purvi asks shocked.

Pragya furiously takes in a breath hearing that.

"Yeah... I never thought anyone could open the door in such a yucky way." Neil says and walks off.

Pragya furiously turns around and walks to Abhishek's cabin.

She opens the door and walks in and sees Abhishek leaning back on his chair, smugly smirking at her with one eye brow raised.

"You compelled him to get turned off by me?" Pragya asks him in shocked exasperation.

Abhishek shrugs with a smirk.

"You are such a..." Pragya stops furiously.

Abhishek gets up and walks to her and says very smugly. "I feel sorry for you, Pragya. I just told him that the first thing that he sees you do; he should have instant disinterest in you. but for opening the door... tsk tsk... that is cruel."

"You dog!"

"Wolf, baby." Abhishek reminds her as he held her hand and pulled her close to him.

Pragya stiffens feeling him so close to her. "Why did you do that?" Pragya asks him as she looked at his eyes. "You think to hurt you I would go on a date with him?"

"No."

"Even when I didn't remember you, I never thought of anyone like that."

"I know."

"Then why did you do this?"

"I just don't like anyone looking at you like that."

"After all that you did... your nerve." Pragya says angrily.

"I'm scared, Pragya." Abhishek confesses to her gently.

Pragya stops without saying anything.

"I can still hurt you but I feel so relieved that you remember me."

"You shouldn't have done this." Pragya angrily tells him.

"What would you have done if you were in my place? And I was in your place." Abhishek asks her back.

"I was not in your place and you were not in my place." Pragya replies to him. "I was in my place and you did whatever you did." Pragya accuses him.

"I tried killing you, Pragya." Abhishek reminds her as his eyes filled up.

"I forgave you for that, Abhi. but this... I can't." Shaking her head in no, Pragya replies to him.

"I know you want to forgive me. I know you want to be near me. tht is why you came to office today." Abhishek gently tells her.

"I won't be coming again." Pragya tells him.

Abhishek frowns hearing that. "Can you stay without seeing me?" asks her hurt.

"I did, all these years." Pragya reminds him.

"Because you didn't remember me."

Pragya looks away angrily.

"Where is Ashu?" Abhishek asks her when she remained silent.

"I dropped her to school."

Abhishek nods.

"We're coming home." Pragya tells him.

"I still haven't learned to control, Pragya." Abhishek worriedly tells her.

"I'm not coming for you. I'm coming for Ashina. Only because she needs you and Papa." Pragya tells him sternly.

Abhishek nods his heart beating fast.

"She is scared, Abhi." Pragya gently tells him.

"Scared?" Abhishek asks frowning in concern.

Pragya tells him about their conversation.

Guiltily Abhishek moves back hearing that. "I try to keep her away when I am turning but the times when I lose control, she would have heard me. and she knows about my lack of control."

"The only way she will get over her fear is when you learn control."

"I've been trying, Pragya." Abhishek helplessly tells her.

"You've to try harder."

Abhishek helplessly sighs. "It kills me, Pragya. that I gave her my werewolf genes."

"She is a werewolf, Abhi. You're a werewolf. And Papa is a werewolf. My whole family are werewolves and I love all three of you. Werewolves are werewolves, not monsters."

Abhishek hugs her hearing her. Pragya gently hugs him.

"This used to be my room." Pragya tells Ashina as she entered Ashina's bedroom. Feeling nostalgic, Pragya looks around the room and it was filled with her photos, some solo, some with Abhishek and some with Ashina. Seeing claw marks on the walls and floor, she runs her finger over them.

"I know, Mama. That is why Papa gave me this room."

Pragya turns to her know-it-all daughter and says with a smile. "You know everything."

"Yes." Ashina replies smiling proudly.

Pragya chuckles hearing that.

"Pragya..." Abhishek calls her from behind.

Pragya turns to him. "What?" Pragya asks him sternly.

Abhishek turns to his daughter and calls her gently. "Ashu... come here."

Ashina walks to him. Abhishek leans down and whispers something to her eyes. After listening to him, Ashina nods and leaves the room.

"Where is she going?" Pragya asks confused.

"To Papa. I want to talk to you."

"I don't want to talk to you." Pragya tells him angrily and starts to walk out.

"It's important, Pragya." Abhishek tells her.

Pragya stops and turns to him.

Abhishek walks to her and takes her hand in his.

"What happened?" Pragya asks worriedly seeing him serious and sad.

"It's Bua, Pragya." Abhishek tells her.

"What happened to her?" Pragya asks worriedly.

"She met with an accident." Abhishek gently tells her.

"Oh my God, is she okay?"

"Two months back, Pragya."

Pragya's heart skips a beat realizing what he was saying. Her eyes fill up and she hugs Abhishek. "She was so nice to me when I stayed with her."

"I know, love." Abhishek hugs her.

"she was so sweet, Abhi. I couldn't see her for the last time." Pragya tells Abhishek hurt.

Abhishek hugs her tight and asks her. "Did you talk to Purab?"

"No... I didn't see him since I came." Pragya replies as she thought of Roop.

"There is something else, Pragya."

"What?" Pragya asks as she looked at him.

"A month before that Purab had turned."

"Oh."

"And this news, he lost control completely. He shifted in front of some people."

"Oh my God." Pragya whispers in shock.

"Papa and I compelled all of them." Abhishek quickly tells her.

"Phupha knows about you all now?" Pragya asks him.

"Yeah, he does. He thinks Purab and we are animals." Abhishek tells her, his eyes filling up.

"What?" Pragya shouts in fury.

"And when you had gone to stay there, Papa had compelled him so that he wouldn't get suspicious and asks questions about your memory. He is furious about that too." Abhishek tells her.

"But how can he think Purab is an animal?" Pragya asks shocked. "How can any parent think that?"

Abhishek helplessly shrugs. "Papa wanted to compel him, but Purab stopped him. he doesn't want Phupha to be compelled to love him or accept him as he is."

"Is Purab okay?" Pragya asks worriedly.

"He is not but he is strong. He is trying to overcome this all."

"And Papa?" Pragya asks softly.

"He is better now."

Hearing Pragya walk in, Veer looks up at her. seeing her sad, he sighs. "Abhi told you."

Pragya nods. "You heard?"

"No... Ashina told me."

"Are you okay, Papa?" Pragya asks him as she sat next to him.

Veer nods.

Pragya hugs him and Veer hugs her back.

"A sister who has been with you since your childhood. Who has been your support and strength when she goes..." Veer sadly sighs. "I'm fine, Pragya. I've accepted it. My concern is Purab now. he has gone through so much."

"He is going to be fine, Papa." Pragya tells him smiling. "He is very strong."

Veer smiles and tells her, "God help you when he recovers fully. Don't know what all he is teaching your daughter now itself."

Pragya laughs softly hearing that. she leans up and kisses his cheek. "I missed you, Papa."

"I missed you too." Veer tells her, his eyes filling with happy tears.

"Why didn't you ever come to see me?" Pragya asks him as she didn't have any memories of meeting him like she did with Ashina.

Veer sadly says, "I couldn't make a fool out of you like that."

Pragya sighs sadly and hugs him.

"I forgive you, Papa."

"Thank you. I'm sorry, Pragya, I couldn't do anything for you."

Pragya shakes her head and hugs him. "How is Abhi doing?" Pragya asks him.

"Not good."

Pragya sighs hearing that.

"It is you who is his anchor. He'll be better now. you're here. He is going to handle it better."

Pragya nods.

"You guys patched up?" Purab asks.

Pragya and Veer turns to see Purab with Ashina and Raj.

"Purab..." Pragya calls his name in concern as she stood up.

"Oh." Purab sadly sighs. "Bhai told you about Mom."

Pragya walks to him and hugs him.

"I'm fine." Purab tells her as he hugged her.

"Mama... was Purab chachu your best friend when you were staying at his house?" Ashina curiously asks.

Pragya turns to her daughter as she thought of her one month stay with his family. Then smiling she says. "Yeah. We were kinda like best friends then."

"Oh really?" Ashina asks shocked.

Pragya chuckles. "Yeah, I didn't remember Abhi then."

Grinning mischievously, Purab tells her. "Bhai gets so jealous every time I mention that time. He goes red."

Pragya chuckles. "Serves him right."

Ashina's face falls and sadly pouting she looks down.

"She is a Papa's girl." Purab tells Pragya.

"Oh baby" Pragya cutely kisses her.

"I've told you, Ashina. Your Papa and Mama will be fighting like cats and dogs one second and next they will be the bestest friends in the world. Just ignore them." Veer tells her.

"Pragya..." Abhishek walks to her.

"What is it?" Pragya asks him angrily.

"Since you've decided to stay here from now on, I want you to keep this with you at all times." Abhishek tells her as he handed her a pouch.

Curiously Pragya takes it and opens it. her heart skips a beat in fear seeing the dagger. "Silver dagger?"

"Yes. You should keep it with you always, Pragya." Abhishek tells her.

Pragya furiously looks at him. "You want me to carry a weapon that can kill my daughter, my love and my father?"

"Unless you stab us in the heart, it won't kill us. just burn us."

"NO!"

"And it won't hurt Ashu."

"How can you be sure?" Pragya asks him in outrage.

"You forgot? We tested on me to find out whether I was a werewolf and it didn't burn me that time. Raj also carries a silver dagger. It is for your safety."

"I don't want this kind of safety." Pragya stubbornly tells him and walks off.

"Weapon to kill daughter, love and father. Not brother? I feel slighted, Bhabhi." Purab says faking a sad pout.

Pragya turns to him frowning and asks. "Were you eavesdropping?"

Purab cheekily grins.

"What the hell, Purab?"

"Oh come on, Bhabhi. I just got super hearing. I want to enjoy that power." Purab tells her. "Wouldn't you use it?"

Knowing she would have, Pragya changes the topic. "why are you calling me, Bhabhi? You used to call me Pragya di, right?" Pragya asks confused.

"Yeah, that time I thought you were Mamu's daughter."

"I am his daughter." Pragya replies frowning.

"You know, I meant like Bhai and you were brother sister."

"EWWWWWE," Pragya screams in disgust at the same time they hear an outraged growl.

"Looks like I'm not the only one eavesdropping." Purab cheekily says.

Pragya glares at Abhishek's direction.

"At least I don't follow around people." Purab cheekily says.

Pragya turns to scowl at him.

"Oh I know you find it romantic." Purab teases her.

"Of course not!"

"Liar! You used to make me watch twilight."

"He and Edward Cullen are bloody stalkers. There is no two ways about it." Pragya tells him pissed.

"I thought you were an Edward Cullen fan girl." Purab says surprised.

"That was till she found Damon Salvatore and Klaus Michaelson." Abhishek replies.

"Get lost." Pragya tells him.

"That show also?" Purab asks. "You never liked any good shows?"

"Oh my God! You are just like him!" Pragya says. "Dislike the show because Vampires are the heroes and not werewolves."

Purab and Abhishek grins hearing her. Pragya walks off.

"Did you lock him?" Pragya asks Raj as he walked into her bedroom and locked t.he door

"Yes. I locked Purab in the basement too." Raj informs her.

"They are together?" Pragya asks confused.

"No, Abhi used to use this bedroom since you are here, he is using his bedroom."

"He used this room?" Pragya asks softly as she gently ran her fingers over the claw marks on the wall.

"Papa wanted the werewolf to get used to your scent." Ashina tells her as she stood by the window. "So he will not attack you."

Pragya nods feeling sad. She was feeling scared for Abhishek. "What would you usually do, Ashina at this time?"

"We stay in Dadu's room." Ashina replies. "But when Papa loses control and turns then whichever room I am in, we lock inside that and sit."

"He hasn't lost control." Pragya softly says.

"Since you came back." Raj tells her.

Pragya sighs feeling her heart break for Abhi.

"It started." Ashina tells Pragya seeing the full moon.

"Are you scared?" Pragya asks her softly as she sat next to her.

Ashina looks at her sadly and says, "Papa will be in pain. Even Purab chachu."

"It is just for some time." Pragya tells her.

Ashina hugs Pragya and sits on her lap.

"One day they are going to learn to handle this like Dadu and then they won't have to be locked inside. They can run through the woods freely." Pragya tells her.

They remained silent for a while. Both worried for Abhishek. unable to handle her worry, Pragya gets up.

"I'll come now." Pragya tells Raj.

"Where are you going?" Raj asks frowning.

"Check on Abhi."

"No." Raj tells her sternly.

"He is locked inside." Pragya reminds him.

Knowing there was no use arguing with her, Raj gives her a pouch. "Abhi told me to give you this if you insisted on going out of the room. and to not let you out if you didn't take it."

"What about you and Ashu?"

"I've mine."

Pragya takes it. turning to Ashina she tells her, "Ashu, I've to be near Papa. I've to go."

"I want to come."

"No. it is not safe." Pragya tells her and leaves the room.

As she reached his room, she could hear the sound of him turning and screaming. She sits down next to the door and keeps her ears close to the door. as she sat there listening to him cry in pain, she cried silently for the pain he was going through. Pragya closes her eyes and keeps her head on the door.

After some time, she hears him howl. She was terrified remembering what had happened last time, but she just couldn't bring herself to leave him. and in that moment, she understood why Abhi kept her away. it was because she wouldn't leave his side no matter what.

She could feel and somewhat hear Abhishek come near the door. she stops breathing in fear and concern for him. then she heard him lie down.

"Abhi..." Pragya softly calls him.

She hears a sound from inside.

"I'm here, Abhi." Pragya tells him.

And she hears him whimper.

They sat like that.

"Pragya..."

Hearing Abhishek call her Pragya quickly opens the door and she was engulfed in his embrace.

"I could smell you. I knew you were there but I didn't want to attack you. I knew you were my Pragya." Abhishek tells her as he hugged her tight, crying in relief.

Pragya closes her eyes, in relief and joy. "I knew you could do this." Pragya tells him crying in relief.

"You are my anchor, Pragya." Abhishek tells her.

By the time, Pragya had come back to check on Ashina, she was dosing off. Abhishek had wished her good night before he had gone to his room for the full moon.

"Is Papa okay, Mama?" Ashina asks her as she yawned sleepily.

"Yes. He did good today." Pragya tells her smiling happily.

Ashina smiles hearing that.

As Pragya was putting her to sleep, she tells her. "Ashu, I'm going to sleep with Papa, okay?"

"Why?" Ashina asks sadly pouting.

"Because I've been away from Papa for so long."

"You and Papa are friends now?"

"Yes."

"Then okay." Ashina tells her smiling.

"Thank you, baby." Pragya tells her as she kissed her forehead.

"Papa doesn't let me sleep with him. he is scared that he might turn at night and hurt me." Ashina tells her a little disappointed.

"One day, all three of us sleep together." Pragya promises her.

Ashina smiles hearing that and dreaming of that she goes to sleep.

Pragya opens the door and sees Abhishek already on bed.

"Slept?" Pragya asks as she got on the bed after leaving her dagger on the side table.

"Waiting for you." Abhishek replies as he stifled a yawn.

"You knew I would come?" Pragya asks him as she lay next to him.

"I know you." Abhishek replies as he hugged her and yawned.

"You're tired, go to sleep." Pragya tells him smiling.

"I waited a lifetime for this night." Abhishek tells her.

"Tonight I understood why you did what you did." Pragya tells him.

Abhishek listens to her silently.

"It still hurts, Abhi. but I understand and I forgive you."

Abhishek kisses her cheek lovingly.

"You wanted to keep me safe but I was feeling dead inside all these years, Abhi." Pragya tells him as tears rolled from her eyes.

Abhishek's heart breaks hearing that.

"You told me to do what gives me peace and happiness. and I was searching for that and I couldn't even remember that my peace and happiness is you."

Tears fall from Abhishek's eyes hearing that.

"Why didn't you come in front of me all these years other than to make me remember and forget Ashu?"

"Because I knew if I made you remember me, then I'll not be able to make you forget me again."

"What if I had found a life with someone else, Abhi? what would you have done?" Pragya asks him.

"Ever since you left, Pragya, I've been thinking. I realized that your whole life was for me. Papa brought you here to make me happy. You had no one else other than us. you had no other option than to love me. And I couldn't help wonder that whether if we had met in a different life, then would you've still loved me. the office, I guess, somewhere in me, I wanted to know whether you could love me without remembering our past. Maybe that is why I came in front of you like that there."

Realizing that he had been insecure, Pragya tells him. "I don't know if I would have loved you in a different life. I know that in this life I only love you and I can only love you. in this life, I belong to you like you belong to me."

Abhishek closes his eyes feeling relieved.

"But I like having other friends." Pragya tells him grinning.

Abhishek smiles hearing that. "As long as I am your best friend."

"That you are." Pragya tells him smiling.

"What did you tell your other best friend?"

"I told Disha that you cheated me and I left home. Now, I'm going back home."

"I cheated you?" Abhishek asks offended.

"Erasing my memory is cheating." Pragya tells him.

"And she didn't ask about why you never mentioned Ashu?"

"I told her it was too painful for me to speak about her. anyway, I told her that she can stay at the house. I'll meet her and keep the friendship."

"Ashu also has lots of friends." Abhishek tells her smiling.

"Why did you put her in a school?"

"I didn't want to repeat the mistakes that Papa did with us. Ashu needs to have more people in her life. and Ashu knows what to tell people and what not to tell people. Since the day you left. Before she could understand anything. I used to tell her why I had to send you away to protect you and why we must hide our identity. She grew up knowing it all."

"Papa never told us the bad side of werewolves. So, I wasn't really prepared for it all. But Ashu is."

"She has more clarity of things than we did at the time we had her." Pragya jokes.

"True." Abhishek chuckles. "I raised her well, right?" Abhishek asks her nervously.

"The best." Pragya replies smiling. "And you call her Ashu."

"Because you preferred that." Abhishek reminds her.

"Ashu is cute."

"Ashi is more apt though." Abhishek replies.

"Oh my God, after all these years, you're still stuck on that?"

Abhishek chuckles.

"One day, we should sleep with Ashu. She wants that." Pragya tells him.

"I know I can do it now but I just want to wait before we start relaxing around me."

Pragya nods.

"Promise me that you'll keep that dagger with you always. Raj also has dagger. Ashu has a silver pendant on her. it is for all your safety. It is not just me, Pragya. even Purab is still struggling with it."

"I promise." Pragya tells him. "I will not be careless anymore."

Abhishek smiles hearing that. "Thank you. After you came back, I haven't turned other than this full moon. No matter how much angry I have got, I haven't turned. Papa is right, you're the anchor that is keeping me connected to my humanity." Abhishek tells her as he kissed her cheek.

"And you keep me connected to myself. I had lost myself without you. You're my anchor, Abhishek." Pragya tells him as she took his lips in hers.

I don't know whether you guys liked it or felt that it was an abrupt end. I actually had plans to make Pragya a werewolf in the end but then, when I started writing the last scene, I felt this was a more apt point to end this story.
