A loud clashing sound woke you.

'What the?' You reached for your phone and checked the time. It was past 10am.

You felt a mild headache and rubbed your forehead gently.

There was another clashing sound, this time it was louder than the first one.

So you sluggishly got off the bed and made your way to the source of the noise.

Upon entering the kitchen, you found Gojo trying to fit a pot back into the cupboard.

'That's right, he's here. So last night wasn't a dream.' You thought.

"Good morning sugarplum!" He said cheerfully, turning to you.

"Good morning Satoru..." You replied, with a hoarse voice and sore throat.

"...you're doing it the wrong way, turn the lid around or it won't fit in the cupboard." You told him.

He stopped what he was doing and looked at the pot, "You're right!" He exclaimed while following your instructions.

"What were you doing with that?" You asked clearing your throat. It hurt when you spoke.

"I made breakfast." He pointed at the dinning table.

You turned and walked towards it. There were croissants, bacon, waffles, omelet and cut fruits set on the table.

You turned back to him and folded your arms.

"Ok, fine. I made the omelet, the rest of the food was delivered." He admitted scratching the back of his head.

"Anyways, sit down." He smiled.

You sat without saying a word and watched him. He was still busy making a hot drink.

'Why isn't he asking me anything?' You wondered.

"Here..." He placed a tea cup in front of you, "...honey lemon tea, for your throat." He added pointing at his throat.

"Thanks." You said softly.

"You're welcome." He sat next to you.

"Thank you for this meal." You both said.

You stared at him as he ate.

"What? Is there something wrong with the food?" He asked.

"N-no."

After eating in silence for a while, you finally decided to speak, "About-"

His phone interrupted you.

"Just a moment." He said.

He answered and placed it on the table on loud speaker.

"I've been trying to reach you since last night, Gojo-sensei." The boy said irritated.

"I'm fine and how are you today Megumi-chan?" He asked.

Fushiguro clicked his tongue and didn't respond.

"How can you be so grumpy in the morning?" Gojo asked.

"The next time you send something to the school, tell me to stand outside when the person is close. Yesterday I stood out there for almost two hours before the driver brought your stuff." He complained ignoring Gojo's question.

"Hehehe, sorry. It was an emergency." He told him.

"Yeah right. Just come get your stuff, it's taking up space in my room." Fushiguro said clearly annoyed.

"You can bring them to the house if it's bothering you. I'm not coming to the school until next week." He said.

"Then why did you send them here in the first place?" He asked.

"Like I said, emergency." Gojo shrugged.

Fushiguro sighed.

"Since it's been a while that you've come home, why don't you bring my stuff and we'll go eat out." He suggested.

"There's no way I'm eating out with you." He retorted.

"What's wrong with eating out with me? And it won't only be me, [Y/n] will be there too." He looked up and smiled at you.

You gave him a half smile.

"Your girlfriend?"

"Yes. You two haven't spend time together. I think it'll be great." He said cheerfully.

Fushiguro didn't respond.

"You can bring Nobara and the second years along..." He added trying to convince the boy, "...it'll all be on me."

"Who else should it be on?" Fushiguro asked sarcastically.

"So, you'll come?" He asked.

"Sigh...sure."

"Yaaay! Don't forget to bring my st-"

"Yeah, yeah I know. See you later."

"Later Megumi-chan." He hung up the phone happily.

"Sorry, I just decided that you'd hang out with us without asking first. Is it ok?"

"It's ok..." You sipped on some tea, "...uhm, so about last night, I'm sorry." Your throat tightened.

"Why are you apologizing?" He looked at you confused.

"You weren't supposed to see me like that." You lowered your head.

Gojo got up and knelt down next to your chair.

"Look at me..." He lifted your chin up, "...if I can't be here for you when you are at you're lowest, how can I stand proud and say that you're my girlfriend. Relationships aren't just about the good times, so don't ever apologize for your feelings. It's ok to cry and have breakdowns, I'll be here to wipe your tears." He said with a genuine smile, while his thumb caressed your cheek.

Ah gosh darn it, you could feel tears welling up in your eyes. Such sweet words.

"Okay." You said holding back your tears.

"Good." He got up and sat back on his chair.

He wanted to ask something, but he knew that it had to wait.

After you were done eating, he cleaned up, while you brushed your teeth and took a shower.

You found him laying on the couch laughing hysterically at the tv.

So you sat at the edge of the couch, next to his feet and looked at what he was watching. It was some dumb comedy show.

"Upsy daisy." He said sitting up and pulled you so that you laid on top of him.

You pressed your head on his chest and sighed.

"[Y/n]..." He whispered while his fingers drew circles on your back.

"Yeah."

"I'm sorry for using my infinity on you." He said.

You looked up at him, at this point you had forgotten about that, because of the stuff that happened with Naoya. So it felt like his apology came out of nowhere.

"Why did you use it?" You asked curiously. A part of you remembered how Ieiri didn't want to talk about Geto and you knew that he was probably going to evade the question.

Gojo took a deep breath and confessed, "I remembered the past and got scared."

"Scared of what?" You asked.

He looked up at the ceiling and explained, "Geto Suguru was my best friend, we knew each other for years and always got into all sorts of trouble together." He smiled.

'He's actually telling me.' You thought

"He was just as popular with the ladies, but I was obviously way more popular than him..." He said in a cocky tone.

"Well obviously." You said sarcastically.

You both chuckled at that remark.

After clearing his throat he continued, "We were so close, but I didn't see it...I didn't notice what my best friend was going through. There are days that I play things over and over in my head, of how I could've been there for him." His tone was clouded with regret.

"And when you brought him up the other night, it hit me..." There was a brief pause, "...if I couldn't notice that the best friend I knew for years was defecting, then will I notice if you ever decide to become a curse user. It's dumb I know, but I just...sigh."

"It's not dumb..." You smiled, "...I understand, if I was in your position I'd feel the same way. If someone I knew for so long could turn around and become my enemy, what's stopping someone who I've only known for a while from doing the same."

"Yeah."

"But I assure you that I won't become your enemy." You told him with a smile.

"How do you know that for sure?"

"Well it's like you said the other day, I'm really weak. There's no way my weak ass would ever want to make an enemy out of Gojo Satoru, that's crazy. You'd find me in no time and have me executed." You replied.

Gojo burst into laughter and you joined him.

"You really know how to say the right things at the right time." He smiled.

"Yeah well I'm weak, not dumb." You giggled.

"The weakest." He teased.

"Don't push it." You warned.

"Sorry." He kissed your forehead and hugged you tightly.

'This is safest place.' You thought as you inhaled his scent.

The two of you stayed in that position for a long time.

You finally decided to break the silence and said, "In the past I was good at numbing the pain..."

Your words shook him, but Gojo didn't say anything because he knew where this was going.

"At first I felt everything and would cry all the time, but soon things changed. When Naoya would beat me, I'd tell myself that I deserved it and that if I behaved then he wouldn't. When he'd break me with his words, I'd tell myself that he was right, because it would've hurt even more if I disagreed with him and gave myself worth. At first when he'd force me to sleep with him, I'd cry and beg him to stop but, he wouldn't listen. So I learned to switch it all off and just let him do whatever he wanted..." The way you two were cuddling was a good position for you to talk about this, because there was no way you would've been able to open up to him if you were looking at him in the eyes.

"...when he realized that I wasn't reacting, he beat the crap out of me. Because he thought that I was having sex with someone else. So after that, I'd fake moan and pretended like it wasn't painful and I was enjoying it. My way of life was numb, but then I ran away and started to feel again." You explained.

"Is this about yesterday?" He asked gently.

"Yes." You sat up and he did the same. Then you told him everything, from Tadako's visit to everything that happened yesterday. He didn't say a word when you spoke and just listened attentively.

"I see." He was pissed, but he wasn't going to show it.

"Please don't go after him. I don't want you to get in trouble with the higher ups." You said almost as if you read his mind.

He closed his eyes and leaned back into the couch, "I'm sorry, but I can't do that."

"Satoru please don-"

"He was out of line to speak to you like that and I can't ignore it. No men should speak to a women that way. You are my woman and you should be respected whether I'm present or not. And that fucking Tekado had the audacity to show up here after what he did. Why didn't you tell me the day it happened?" He asked calmly.

"I-I was afraid that you were going to go after him. I'm-I'm sorry" You stuttered biting your bottom lip.

"Don't be scared..." He smiled softly, "...I'm not gonna hit you, nor am I mad at you." He reassured while taking a hold of your hand.

You squeezed his hand, "Please don't fight them, Satoru please." You said with pleading eyes.

"Sigh..." He let go of your hand and leaned back into the couch.

"You have to stop protecting him." He said looking at the tv.

"I'm not protecting him. I just don't want you to get into trouble with the higher-"

"Ups, yes I know. You keep on saying that. But be honest with me, that night in Roppongi if you were conscious, would you have stood there and watched me beat the shit out of Naoya or would you have intervened and asked me to stop?" He asked his eyes fixated on the tv.

"I...I don't-"

"See you're hesitating. Naoya assaulted you and almost had his way with you...but you're still hesitating to answer a simple question. Maybe you're subconsciously using the higher ups as an excuse to protect him." He said turning to you.

Could he be right? I mean everything that Naoya said to you really hurt and yet you didn't wish anything bad to happen to him. Even after he assaulted you in Roppongi and you found out that Gojo had beaten him, a part of you still wanted to know if he was ok. That's why you asked Nanami how he was doing.

"I'm sorry." Was all you could say upon that realization.

"I'm not saying this to put you down or make you feel bad in anyway. It's just something I noticed. Maybe deep down inside you still feel something for him and I don't blame you if you do. He manipulated and abused you for years, even until now you're still afraid of him, the scars he left you are very deep. You can't get rid or let go of something like that easily. But I suggest that you start working on it little by little. I'm proud of you for not staying quiet when he was talking down on you yesterday, it means that you're moving in the right direction. You're healing slowly but surely and this process may take years, but I'll be with you every step of the way." He said with a genuine smile.

His words made a lot of sense, maybe without knowing your mind was programmed to protect Naoya, and did he just admit that he wants a future with you?

"You...you might be right. I'll work on myself and try healing." You said genuinely.

"Great! And I'll let it go this time, but if Naoya ever does something to you again, I'll make him regret it. Even if you tell me not to, I won't listen." He said leaning in for a kiss.

"Okay, thank you." You smiled before kissing him.

One hand moved down to your waist while the other cupped your cheek. You wrapped your arms around his neck as his tongue slipped into your mouth and explored it.

"I have genuine feelings for you [Y/n]." He said in an honest tone pulling away.

"I have genuine feelings for you too Satoru." You smiled before kissing him passionately.

"Why are you always on your phone, do you have girlfriend?" Gojo grinned at Fushiguro.

He ignored his sensei.

Fushiguro had brought Gojo's stuff. Even though he invited the rest of his students, Fushiguro came alone and said that the others were 'busy'.

They probably didn't want to hangout with Gojo. Now the three of you were having dinner at a restaurant that Fushiguro had picked.

Gojo had been getting and replying to messages non-stop on your way here and you couldn't help but wonder who it was.

*Ding*

He took out his phone while taking a sip of juice.

"Why are you always on your phone? Isn't your girlfriend sitting right here?" Fushiguro asked nonchalantly.

Gojo was caught off guard by that question and choked on his drink. You couldn't help but laugh.

"Fushiguro is right though, who have you been texting?" You asked raising a brow.

"No one..." He replied wiping his mouth.

*Ring, ring*

"Well this no one sure has a lot to say." Fushiguro said.

Gojo ignored him and answered, "Is that so?" He asked with a serious expression on his face, "Ok, I'll be there right away."

"Who was it? Where are you going?" You asked as you watched him get up and take out his debit card.

"The higher ups need my report from the mission ASAP. I gotta go." He said handing you the card.

"But Satoru, wasn't this dinner your idea?" You pointed out.

"Yeah sorry...I'll text you the pin. You two have fun. Later Megumi-chan." He said while walking away, without giving you a chance to reply.

"Honestly [L/n]-san, what do you see in Gojo-sensei?" Fushiguro sighed.

'Is he really going to see the higher ups?' You wondered.

A part of you didn't want to think about it, but you remembered Naoya's words about him cheating on you.

"His kindness." You replied with a smile pushing that thought back.

Fushiguro looked at his drink and gave a half smile, "I see."

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Then there was a very long awkward silence.
'What do I say?' You wondered.
Megumi had a bored expression on his face, almost as if he didn't want to be there. Well technically speaking he didn't, Gojo forced him after all.
"So uhm..." You said finally breaking the silence, "...how-how are things going?"
"Well, school is fine although it's been hard at times." He replied.
"Is it hard because Satoru is never there to actually teach you anything?" You asked.
"No, we've made peace with that and do a lot of self study..." He replied, "...what's hard is getting over a classmates death." He added sadly.
"Wait! One of your classmates died?!" You asked shocked.
"Yeah Itadori Yuji, he was one of the first years." He replied.
"Itadori died agai-" You stopped yourself right before exposing the secret.
'Shit, I forgot that Satoru didn't tell them about Itadori.'
"O-oh right, the first year that died at the correctional center. It was really sad, h-he was so young an-and full of life." You said nervously.
Fushiguro stared at you oddly.
'Oh shit, does he know I'm lying.' You wondered.
"I get it..." He sighed.
'Get it? Get what, what does he get?' You thought nervously.
"...the higher ups probably gave you guys an order not to talk about him to the rest of the students, didn't they?"
"Y-yes. That's exactly what happened." You replied.
He didn't respond and looked at his food disappointed.
You felt bad lying to the poor boy.
"But that doesn't mean that I'm not allowed listen to your feelings..." You said with a smile, "...Satoru told me that you were the one who asked him, to not let the higher ups execute him the day he ate Sukuna's finger. That was very kind of you."
"I thought that maybe we could be friends..." He admitted, "...and it started to feel like we were, but then Sukuna...he...I shouldn't have left him behind. I should've stayed and fought with him." You could hear the grief and guilt in his voice.
"I don't know how it feels like to put your life on the line, because I'm not a sorcerer. But I do know how it feels like to lose someone you care about. It hurts and that's because that person meant something to you. Itadori's death was not your fault, you were given a mission that was way above your rank. All you can do now is work hard and become stronger, so that you protect the people you care about. I'm sure that's what Itadori would want." You comforted.
His eyes lit up, "Thanks [L/n]-san, I'll become strong and protect them." He said genuinely.
Although, you didn't say a lot, you had no idea how much your words meant to him. Ever since Itadori's death, Fushiguro blamed himself and didn't know who to open up to or even how.
"You're welcome and just call me [Y/n]." You smiled.
"Ok [Y/n]."
"Now let's have some dessert, order anything you want, it's all on your sensei." You said cheerfully.
"Then I'll get the most expensive dessert on the menu." Fushiguro chuckled.
"Me too." You laughed.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

The awkward mood had faded and now the boy was very comfortable talking to you.

"No way, he didn't." You laughed.

"He did and all the moms at my elementary school loved it, some even took pictures of him. Gojo-sensei didn't care, he even claimed that he was the prettiest maid in the world." He said embarrassed.

"Oh my gosh, that man's confidence honestly baffles me at times. How can he shamelessly wear a maid's outfit to your school." You couldn't help but laugh.

Megumi had been telling you stories about his childhood with Gojo and boy was it hilarious.

"My childhood we hard." He chuckled.

"Yeah I can only imagine, with a dad like Satoru. You poor thing." You said trying to hold back your laughs.

"I practically raised myself. There was this one time that he decided that we were going to have a father son outing and took me to the park. So he bought us both ice cream but, I don't remember what happened and then his ice cream fell. He literally started crying and I had to give him mine to make him stop. Mind you, I was like 10 years old at that time."

"The fact that I know that you're not lying, says a lot about Satoru." You laughed.

Fushiguro chuckled.

You were quite shocked at Fushiguro's attitude. Gojo had told you that he didn't like to talk, but surprisingly he was very talkative today.

"Satoru may be what he is, but in the end he's a really kind person." You smiled.

'Could she be in love with Gojo-sensei? Fushiguro wondered as he looked you in the eyes.

"Yes he is." He nodded.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Gojo waited outside the hotel with his hands in his pockets. The person he was looking for had just exited the building.
"Yo, long time no see." He said approaching him.
"To what do I owe the pleasure?" Naoya asked.
"You already know why I'm here, don't you?" He smirked.
"No I don't." Naoya said walking past him.
"Yesterday you made my girlfriend cry and that pissed me off a lot. So I came here to set things straight with you." He said calmly.
Naoya stopped in his tracks and turned around, "So that bit-" Fear that made his throat dry up encapsulated him.
"Be very careful about what you are about to say next, because if it is by any chance disrespectful towards my woman. I'll turn you into a missing persons case, that even if the whole world banded together to look for you, they'd never find the body." Gojo spoke in a calm manner, but Naoya could feel the ominousness behind his words.
With that warning, he turned and began to walk, "Follow me."
Naoya followed behind him in fear for his life.
