[Tower of Yggdrasil - 100th floor: Momonga's Office Room]

Momonga, now seated on his throne, began to figure out the mechanics of the [Mirror of Remote Viewing], as all he could see through it at the moment was an expanse of grass. With each rhythmic movement, he channeled his concentration and focused his mana, to operate the magic item efficiently like in the game

(It's so hard! WHY! I USE IT BEFORE!)

A gentle knock resonated through the door, prompting Momonga to invite the visitor inside. The kitsune maid gracefully approached the entrance and turned the handle, revealing an elderly butler standing before them. Clad in his traditional black uniform, the butler exuded an aura of utmost professionalism. His hair and beard, entirely white, spoke of wisdom and experience.

Following closely behind the butler were six exquisite Pleiades battle maids, each one radiating an air of strength and unwavering loyalty. They arranged themselves in a neat line beside Momonga, their posture impeccable as they prepared to address their master. Standing at the end of the line was a woman dressed in a pristine white kimono, her presence exuding an ethereal grace.

As one, the butler and the Pleiades battle maids inclined their heads in a respectful bow, paying homage to their supreme ruler. Momonga acknowledged their presence with a regal nod, appreciating their unwavering dedication and loyalty.

(Au: For those who forgot the faces of the Pleiades maids and Sebas - Lupusregina, Cz, Solution, Sebas, Naberal, Yuri, and Entoma)

Among the Pleiades battle maids stood a woman dressed in a pristine white kimono, seamlessly connected to their ranks. Her presence exuded an ethereal grace that captivated all who beheld her. Her hair, as white as freshly fallen snow, was intricately tied into a bun, adorned with a delicate red rose clip. Piercing through the air, her eyes, a striking shade of crimson, held a mesmerizing allure, reminiscent of blood. With her flawless albino complexion, she possessed an otherworldly beauty that seemed to transcend mortal bounds. As she stood there, a vision of celestial elegance, she became an embodiment of enchantment amidst the loyal Pleiades battle maids.

"What are your orders for us, Momonga-sama?" the old butler, Sebas, said respectfully.

Momonga took a moment to ponder before responding. "Umu, in the Tomb of Nazarick, you are our butler, and the Pleiades battle maids are our strongest maids. Sebas, I want you to be my personal butler. Do you accept? You may refuse if you wish. After all, you are the head butler of Nazarick, not the Tower of the Nine Realms. But if you accept, I will promote you to be the head butler of this tower and my personal attendant. What do you say?"

Sebas lowered himself to one knee and replied, "Staying by your side and obeying your orders is the reason for a butler's existence. I accept, my lord. It is my greatest joy to serve you and be useful to my master."

Momonga then turned his attention to the seven battle maids standing before him. "And as for the battle maids Aureole, Yuri, Lupusregina, CZ2128, Narberal, Solution, and Entoma, would you like to become my personal maids? There will be intervals and days off, of course. Now, do you accept?"

The battle maids all knelt in unison, and Yuri spoke on their behalf. "As Sebas-sama mentioned, it is our greatest joy to serve you and be useful to our master. We accept, my lord. We will give our very best!"

Momonga nodded approvingly. "Umu, I know you will."

Turning his attention to the kitsune maid, Kimiko, Momonga issued further instructions. "Kimiko, please introduce them to the other maids and the head of the maids, Floralin. Show them around all the facilities on the 98th floor. Afterwards, let them choose from the two hundred guest rooms. They can pick whichever they prefer. Understood?"

"Yes, Momonga-sama," Kimiko replied with a respectful bow. She then addressed the battle maids. "Please follow me," she gestured, leading them away. Aureole then stayed to have Momonga a maid to take care all of his needs

Momonga glanced at Yuri. "Yuri, you will introduce Aureole to the others and familiarize her with the facilities," he instructed.

Yuri nodded and responded, "Understood, my lord. I will ensure Aureole is properly settled in and acquainted with everything."

After the departure of the kitsune maid, Aureole Omega assumed her position, standing beside Momonga. Sensing Momonga's frustration with the Mirror of Remote Viewing, he turned to Sebas for assistance. Momonga requested Sebas to teach him the proper operation of the troublesome magic mirror.

After Momonga gets the function of the mirror, his mind gradually grasps the essential techniques. The magic mirror responded accordingly, expanding Momonga's vision in the mirror. Appreciative of the progress, both Aureole and Sebas applauded his accomplishment.

His hand swing left and right, and as a result, the mirror's vision turn left and right as well. With the realization, he thought

(I have twenty of these. I will allocate ten to Acadia for the Supreme Army and Atlas Air Command on the 10th floor, enabling them to carry out reconnaissance and missions. The remaining ten shall be given to the guardians for their own missions.)

Excited by the possibilities, Momonga refocused his attention on the mirror, determined to put it to practical use. With a mere thought, he directed the mirror's view, shifting from one location to another. The mirror's wide field of vision now revealed landscapes and settlements, awaiting exploration and analysis.

Eager to explore the world through the mirror, Momonga declared,

"Let's see where they are."

As if heeding his command, the magic mirror obediently adjusted its view, allowing Momonga to peer into distant realms. With Aureole and Sebas by his side, he prepared himself to delve into the depths of the mirror's capabilities, eager to gather valuable information that would serve Nazarick's future endeavors.

[Treon Plains — Lales city]

The vast expanse of the Treon Plains lay at the heart of the continent, serving as the neutral zone for the eight surrounding nations. Each of these nations held its own distinct power and influence, with the Ancient Empire of Nabu reigning as the central force atop the plains. To the west of the Treon Plains stood the United Holy Kingdoms of Soturian, a formidable alliance of territories bound by a shared faith.

Beyond them, the Hada Sea Dynasty ruled the western seas, while the Island Yovaria Empire thrived in the southern waters. The Grozuc Sea Empire, nestled in the south, commanded the vast seas and trade routes. On the eastern side of the plains, the Meta Old Empire claimed its dominion, while the Demon Ancient Empire held sway to the south. Lastly, to the east across the sea, the Spala Sea Empire extended its influence.

These eight nations stood united, forming a steadfast alliance against the four aggressive nations situated in the northern part of the continent. Every decade, the Stosite Empire, situated in the northwest of the Ancient Empire of Nabu, would wage war against the southern nations, driven by a relentless desire to conquer the central lands where the Ancient Empire of Nabu resided. The neutral zone of the Treon Plains became the battleground, as the allied nations sought to defend their territory and maintain peace.

Within this neutral zone stood the solitary city, the only settlement on the vast plains. The decision to refrain from establishing kingdoms in the area was a deliberate one, aimed at preventing any provocation or resentment among the other nations, particularly the seafaring powers.

Seated at his desk, the weary Elf mayor of Lales City meticulously reviewed and signed a seemingly endless stream of immigrant petitions and trade contracts. It was his duty to ensure the smooth functioning of the bustling city and to maintain harmonious relations with neighboring nations. As the one responsible for organizing the highly anticipated "allied nation summit," held every two years, he was burdened with numerous preparations and arrangements.

The mayor took a moment to sip his black coffee, its bitter taste invigorating his fatigued mind. Eighteen hours of continuous reading and signing had taken its toll, and he yearned for a few moments of respite before the impending chaos of the summit consumed him. Weary eyes drooping, he contemplated stealing a brief moment of rest to replenish his energy.

However, just as his eyelids grew heavy and the prospect of sleep beckoned, an abrupt knock reverberated through the room, jolting him from his weariness. Startled, the mayor straightened in his chair, momentarily disrupted from his thoughts. He set his coffee aside and shifted his gaze towards the door, curiosity mingling with a hint of annoyance.

Pushing through his exhaustion, Mayor Elandor rose from his seat, momentarily forgetting his fatigue. His weariness was replaced by a surge of adrenaline as he approached the door, contemplating the interruption that had disrupted his much-needed respite. With a deep breath, he opened the door to reveal a soldier standing outside, bearing an urgent expression on his face.

"Yes, what is it?" Mayor Elandor inquired, his voice betraying a mixture of weariness and anticipation.

The soldier, visibly distressed, wasted no time in delivering the alarming news. "Lord Elandor! We are under attack by unknown forces!"

The words struck the mayor like a bolt of lightning, instantly dispelling any remnants of fatigue. His weariness transformed into a steely resolve as he grappled with the gravity of the situation. Slamming his hand on the desk in frustration, he contemplated the implications of the attack.

"What?! Did you sound the alarm bells to alert the neighboring nations?" Mayor Elandor's voice quivered with a mix of concern and urgency.

The soldier's response only deepened his unease. "That's the problem, Mayor. General Olgorad discovered that all the alarm bells have been destroyed, shattered into pieces."

A mix of shock and anger surged through Mayor Elandor. "So, someone infiltrated our city and sabotaged the bells without raising any alarm?"

The soldier's expression turned grim. "The guards assigned to that post are nowhere to be found, sir!"

An overwhelming sense of foreboding settled over the mayor as he processed the information. The situation was far more serious than he had initially anticipated. He knew that immediate action was necessary to protect the city and its inhabitants.

"This is deeply troubling," Mayor Elandor muttered, his mind racing with possibilities. "Take me to General Olgorad at once!"

Without wasting a moment, the soldier nodded and led the mayor out of the room, their footsteps echoing down the corridor. The urgency in their pace reflected the gravity of the situation at hand.

As they hurried towards the office of General Olgorad, Mayor Elandor's mind raced with questions and concerns. Who were these unknown forces that dared to attack their city? How had they managed to infiltrate undetected and disable the alarm system? And most importantly, where were the missing guards?

[Lales City — Meters away from the Front Gate]

As the beam of light crashed into the gate, a thunderous explosion erupted, shattering the entrance into countless fragments. The ensuing chaos claimed the lives of numerous soldiers who had been unfortunate enough to be stationed near the gate. Wounded and lifeless bodies littered the vicinity, their blood staining the ground.

Mayor Elandor, his heart pounding with a mixture of concern and determination, hurried through the main street of the city, desperately searching for General Olgorad. His eyes fell upon a green-armored soldier, whom he approached with urgency.

"You there! Evacuate the civilians through the back gate! 3rd platoon, create a barrier here!" A demon that is name, Galgran commanded, his voice resonating with authority. Then he saw a familiar figure in the distance that is coming towards him.

"Where is General Olgorad, Captain Galgran" The mayor hastily questioned

The soldier, Captain Galgran, responded promptly, his voice carrying the weight of duty. "General Olgorad is on the front lines, Mayor. However, I cannot allow you to go there. It is the general's order."

Indignant, Elandor retorted, "I am the mayor! I need to know what is happening! I demand to be allowed to proceed!"

Captain Galgran's eyes softened, and a faint smile crept across his face. "You are not only a mayor but also a father of three children and a husband to a beautiful wife. Surely, you wouldn't want your wife to scold you for putting yourself in unnecessary danger, would you? HAHA!"

Elandor's thoughts turned to his loved ones—his children and his wife, who relied on him for their livelihood. A deep sigh escaped his lips as he realized the weight of the captain's words. He knew that if he perished, his family would be left vulnerable, potentially falling into the clutches of the nefarious Drateokya Dynasty, where slavery and crime reigned unchecked.

With a resigned click of his tongue, Elandor relented. "Tsk. Very well, I will go. I must ensure the safety of the civilians. May the God of the dark bless and guide you through this treacherous ordeal."

Captain Galgran, a towering demon with a height of six feet, waved casually before turning his attention to the task at hand. The mayor made his way towards the civilians, guiding stray children and ensuring their safe passage to the back gate.

Meanwhile, General Olgorad stood tall at the forefront of his diverse army. Demons, elves, humans, goblins, orcs, and various other races rallied together, forming a formidable shield wall of shields and spears. With a mighty leap, Olgorad positioned himself at the front of the formation, ready to face the oncoming white knights.

Casting his invocation, Olgorad's massive ax illuminated with the power of his dark god, Zazgon. Bringing it crashing down upon the ground, the earth trembled as razor-sharp metal spikes burst forth, reaching a height of seven feet before receding back into the ground. The cycle repeated three times, leaving a grisly trail of impaled bodies and blood-soaked ground. Though some of the white knights remained, fear now gripped their hearts, rendering them motionless.

From the back ranks of the white knights, a voice filled with frustration and anger rang out. "You cowards! Why did you stop? The God of Light is on our side! Don't be scared by that little trick!"

Olgorad couldn't help but chuckle, his voice laced with mockery. "I do enjoy seeing the anger of these fanatics. They truly make themselves look like fools, don't they?"

Amidst the laughter of his fellow soldiers, a man of distinguished appearance emerged from the ranks of the white knights. Standing at a height of five feet ten inches, with short blond hair, piercing blue eyes, and a handsome visage, he wore an exquisite white armor crafted from adamantite. In his hands, he held a shield adorned with a golden tiger face, and a double-edged holy sword.

"I am Oracle Saint Grandeur, one of the ten chosen saints," he proclaimed confidently, his voice brimming with self-assurance. "And you, demon, should consider yourself fortunate, for I shall cleanse you of your sins!"

Olgorad couldn't resist a retort, his laughter echoing through the battlefield. "Very well, after this battle, I shall cleanse the stains from your white armor. Your saliva flies everywhere when you speak, after all. HAHA!"

The saint's face contorted in anger as he prepared to strike. "AHHH?!"

Calling upon the power of the God of Light, Saint Grandeur unleashed his ultimate attack, invoking the holy spell of Irasil Holy Slash. Three radiant slashes of light shot forth from his sword, hurtling towards the demon general.

Reacting swiftly, Olgorad activated his demonic abilities, tapping into the power bestowed upon him by Zazgon. With a burst of speed, he vanished from his position, reappearing in the air behind the saint.

Unleashing his enhanced strength, Olgorad swung his colossal ax, aiming to cleave through the saint's defenses. The saint sensed the impending strike and swiftly turned, raising his shield to block the attack.

"「Great defense, absolute counter, absolute counter x2!」" the saint chanted, reinforcing his shield with potent enchantments.

The clash between the ax and the shield sent shockwaves rippling through the air, causing the ax to shatter into countless pieces. Olgorad was flung backward, crashing into a nearby two-story building with a deafening crash, causing it to crumble around him.

As Olgorad lay amidst the rubble, the saint landed gracefully in front of the collapsed structure. Triumphantly, he proclaimed, "HAHAHA! No one can stand against a saint! You are a fool, demon! We are the ones who will cleanse this world!"

However, their confrontation was abruptly interrupted by an unknown voice that pierced the air, sending chills down the spines of all who heard it.

"Hoho, I am the one who will do that job, boy. And I will start by killing you and your little group."

The battlefield fell into an eerie silence as all eyes turned towards the mysterious figure who emerged from the shadows. Radiating an aura of unknown power, the enigmatic newcomer became the focal point of attention, adding a new layer of uncertainty to the already turbulent situation.

●~●~●~●~●

[100th floor — Momonga's office room]

As the mysterious figure approached the city fortress, his piercing gaze swept across the chaotic scene unfolding before him. Taking note of every attack exchanged between the saint and the demon general, a sly smile curled upon his non existant lips. He knew that this was the perfect opportunity to set his plans in motion.

But before this conflict started, he change the fates of this battle by intervening as he summon his trusted subordinate, Demiurge, and issued a command to him. "Summon the demons and dispatch them to destroy the alarm bells. We cannot afford any interruptions during the impending fight. Additionally, capture the soldiers guarding the bells and deliver them to Neuronist Painkill. Extract every ounce of information we can get from them."

Now his mind whirled as he wants abundant information about this new magic system that the two forces uses. Observing the unfolding battle between the saint and the demon, he dispatched Pandora's Actor, as he is capable of analyzing and recording incantations and their effects that can be useful in the future confrontations from future enemies.

"So, the demon has met his end," he mused to himself, contemplating the frequent defeats suffered by demons at the hands of holy knights, heroes of friendship, or even saints.

Standing tall, he adjusted his jet-black academic robe, readying himself for the next phase of his plan of sorts, as his real intention is to just go outside. With his thoughts, he pondered his inclination towards villainy, questioning its origin. Comparing himself to Ulbert-san, he considered the role of karma in determining his alignment.

(But why? Why do I lean towards villainy? I am not Ulbert-san) he mused, his voice laced with curiosity. (Could it be the influence of my 'Extreme Evil' karma value? Perhaps, but I can take solace in my calming passive ability. At least I have that. I shall delve into this matter further once this is all over.)

With a swift motion, he cast the spell "「Perfect Warrior」" upon himself, augmenting his abilities in preparation for the role he was about to play. The city fortress was his stage, and he was determined to seize the spotlight, regardless of the alignment he embraced.

Now clad in his jet-black full body armor, adorned with mystical beast scales on the breastplate and six black spikes curving upwards from each shoulder, Momonga adjusted his attire. His armor was complemented by a long dark cape flowing behind him, as well as a coattail extending from the hips of his armor to ankle length.

As he prepared for his departure, a beautiful lady knock at the opened door and lean in the side "May I come in Ainz-sama" She said in a more smooth tone. Momonga nod, his attention focused on checking his inventory.

"Momonga-sama, the troops from the first floor are now deployed from the kingdom. May I ask where you are going?" Acadia walk gracefully inside and sat at the sofa nearby, checking at his 'love' as whatever he wears, he is the most handsome man she knows.

"I am heading to a nearby city fortress for a light exercise," Momonga replied casually, his gaze still fixed on his inventory.

"In that case, shall I call upon your royal guards to accompany and protect you, Momonga-sama?" Acadia offered with a look of worry in her eyes.

"No need, Sebas will suffice," Momonga dismissed the suggestion with a wave of his hand.

Acadia scrutinized the butler, sensing the immense power emanating from him. Sebas bowed respectfully before her, acknowledging her presence as one of the Esteemed Overseers.

"Very well, Momonga-sama. I will gather the Doom Squad, Royal Knights, and Night Hunters, just in case. Please ensure your safety, my lord," Acadia expressed her concern.

"Umu, don't worry, I will be back shortly. Sebas, let's go. 「Gate」," Momonga commanded.

He handed Sebas a necklace capable of casting the spell 「Fly」, and Sebas obediently donned it.

(So, I believe I am well-prepared now.) "And the show begins" Momonga mused to himself.

A swirling portal materialized in front of him, and Momonga, along with Sebas, stepped into it. As they emerged from the portal, ten feet above the ground, Momonga cast the spell 「Fly」. Looking down, he observed a demolished building below, with the saint arrogantly spouting nonsense. Taking a moment to survey his surroundings, he noticed both forces quietly watching him.

"HAHAHA NO ONE CAN GO AGAINST A SAINT! YOU IDIOT HAHAHAHA WE ARE THE ONES WHO WILL CLEANSE THIS WORLD HAHAHAHAHA" the idiot saint said on his down enemy

However, the saint's audacious words triggered an unpleasant sensation within the supreme being. (Oh, this is a traditional idiot) Momonga thought to himself, his irritation evident.

"Hoho, I am the one who will do that job, boy. And I will start by killing you and your little group," Momonga declared with a calm yet commanding tone.
