Jungkook met Jimin in college. Jimin was his senior by 2 years. Jimin was known to be the innocent beauty of their university, everyone liked him because he was always kind and sweet to anyone who approached him.
Jungkook's seniors who ragged him forced him to propose to Jimin just for fun. They liked to see the juniors get shy and scared in front of the college beauty.
Jungkook's heart skips a beat when he sees Jimin approaching his way. He closes his eyes, stilling in his path when his arms brush against Jimin's as the boy walks past him
A few seconds later, Jungkook is brought back to reality and he turns around to see Jimin heading towards the stairs
Jimin is surprised when someone suddenly rushes in front of him
"Are you okay?" Jimin asks concerned when the man keeps huffing, obviously trying to catch his breath
"Will you...." Jungkook stands up straight "...will you go out with me? I like you..."
Jimin smiles, something that Jungkook didn't expect as a relationship to his confession
Jimin then turns around to face the seniors who were standing at a distance
"When will you guys get tired of this?" Jimin asks, his voice loud enough to reach the seniors
"The day you agree to be mine" Taemin,one of the seniors yells back
Jimin smiles shaking his head before turning to face Jungkook
"I guess this will continue to happen then..." Jimin says before walking away
"Give it up buddy..." Taemin approaches Jungkook and wraps an arm around him "...Jimin hasn't dated any of the juniors who proposed to him..."
Jungkook understood then that he wasn't the only junior who had been dared to propose to Jimin
Jungkook sighs as the seniors leave and he turns to look in the direction Jimin left
Jungkook couldn't help but smile remembering Jimin smiling at him like that
I want to see you smiling again... for me
And so, Jungkook starts being in the tiny boy's vicinity whenever he could - jumping in front of Jimin on purpose and offering to help the boy in anything he was doing and they soon become friends.

In Jimin's final year of college, Jungkook proposes and Jimin agrees to date him. They truly liked each other and the whole university liked seeing them happy together.
Later
That summer break, Jimin stays back in Seoul to do volunteer work for future job prospects while Jungkook goes to Busan for his cousin's wedding and that's when things get a turn in their relationship.
Jungkook meets A/N, the sister of his cousin's fiancée. The girl was an extrovert, extremely flirty and touchy, a girl comfortable in her own skin and that intrigued the man who wasn't yet intimate with his boyfriend.
"Do you have a girlfriend?" She asks Jungkook as she ran her fingers on his hands
"No!" He comments making her grin
It is technically true but he did have a boyfriend which he failed to mention. A/N was really sexy and even though Jungkook wanted nothing to do with her, physically, he wanted to spend time with her. She made him feel things, different things - maybe it was the fact that he felt someone else found him physically attractive other than Jimin. Jimin wasn't the sort of guy to compliment Jungkook on his physical appearance much. A/N was different in that aspect, she was full on trying to seduce the man and that made him feel guilty.
"I'm sorry but I have to go..." Jungkook excuses himself from the engagement party and goes home.
Jungkook sighs as he lays down on his bed and looks at the picture of Jimin on his phone.
Why did I do that? Why didn't I tell her that I have someone I love dearly

A week later
"I missed you!" Jimin jumps into Jungkook's arms as soon as the man goes to Jimin's apartment after he is back in Seoul.
"I missed you too... so much..." Jungkook hugs the boy tightly
"I made..." Jimin says trying to pull away from the hug but Jungkook holds him tighter
"Please...just stay like this for a minute..."
Jimin smiles as he wraps his arms around the man's waist

Two months into their relationship and things are going well between the two, except for the fact that Jungkook never told Jimin about A/N. That would come to bit him in the ass when A/N comes to Seoul and runs into the couple in a cafe they frequented
"Oh my gosh! Jungkook! You bad boy!" A/N exclaims hugging the man as he sat with Jimin "...why didn't you call me?"
Jimin looks at the two wide eyed as Jungkook sat uncomfortably but A/N didn't seem to care
"A/N! Let's go!" Her friend yells for her
"Jungkook..you gotta send me our selfies okay? I know we looked really hot in them..." A/N kisses his cheek and runs towards her friend
The couple sat silently for a minute after A/N left.
Jimin left the cafe and Jungkook followed the boy in silence to their car
"W-Who is she, Jungkook?" Jimin asks, his voice cracking once they got inside the car and Jungkook let's him know how he came to know A/N
Jimin felt hurt when Jungkook mentioned that he told her he didn't have a girlfriend
"Why didn't you tell her that you had a boyfriend then? Are you a homophobe?"
"I don't know why okay?! I just didn't! But I didn't do anything with her!" Jungkook felt like Jimin was accusing him of cheating
"But you clearly wanted to! Else you would have told her about us and also kept her from touching you!"
"We are just friends and it is her personality... she is an extrovert and she loves to touch!" Jungkook tries to justify
"Would you have liked it if I touched someone else?" Jimin asks
Jungkook's eyes darken as he slams his hands on the steering wheel. He hated that thought "..don't you even dare to think about it!!"
Jimin sadly smiles "...then what do you think I felt when I saw her touch you like that and to know you spend time with her after claiming you were single... even if nothing happened... it hurts to imagine the what ifs ..."
"I'm really sorry..." Jungkook has tears in his eyes "...I am stupid. I didn't think..."
They are both crying at this point
"Let's..." Jimin takes a deep breath "...let's just break up" Jimin shrugs Jungkook's hand off his wrist and gets out of the car and out of Jungkook's life

Two years later
Jungkook comes to know Jimin has a fiancée through mutual friends. It was Jimin's dad who arranged it.
Jungkook starts stalking Jimin again,wanting to know if the man was good enough for his ex boyfriend. Jungkook comes back to Seoul, he was in Busan after their breakup.
Later
Jungkook's blood boils when he sees Jimin's fiancée manhandling Jimin in the restaurant parking lot
"Just leave me!" Jimin yanks his hand off the man "...I don't want to marry you anymore! I don't want to be with someone who can't respect me!"
The man's eyes darken in anger "You think I will let you go?! You ate my trophy wife! If you leave me,I will tell your family that you broke up with me because you miscarried my child..." the man chuckled darkly "...that would make you a slut and an infertile beach!"
Before Jimin could say anything, Jungkook stalks towards them and punches the man hard in his face
"Fcking a**hole!" Jungkook lands one more punch and the man is nearly unconscious. Jimin stood shocked "....
he never even slept with me, even when he loved me then. Do you really think anyone will believe if you spread such lies about him. Get lost!"
Jungkook turns to face the shocked boy "...are you..."
"Thank you but I can handle my own..." Jimin says before looking at the man's hands "....you should get that treated..." and with that he left with a neutral face making Jungkook sigh as he watched the boy walk away

Two more months later
Jimin's heart breaks when he receives an invitation in his mail. An invitation to Jungkook's engagement party
Jungkook had asked Jimin to come as a sign of friendship and forgiveness to everything that happened between them. They both needed closure and so Jimin goes with a heavy heart. He was the one who broke up with the man, if he is not ready to give him happiness, he should at least let the man be at peace with himself
Later
"Jiminah... so good to see you..." Taehyung, their mutual friend from university guides Jimin into the building "...you can go to that room over there... Jungkook and his partner will be right over soon... all our friends are already there..."
Jimin didn't want to but he had to and so he sighs as he gathers his strength and enters the room
Jimin is surprised to see the room empty but what surprised him the most was seeing the room decorated with pictures of Jungkook and him, back from when they were a couple. Many of them are candid pictures taken by the man. Jimin's eyes fill with tears seeing the pictures, he felt nostalgic.
"Jimin ah..." that voice makes Jimin turn around to face the man behind him, tears in his eyes
Jungkook looked so handsome in his tux as he walked towards the boy. The man stands an arms distance away, smiling beautifully at the tiny boy
"...I still love you after all these years...I never had a relationship after you..I just couldn't ... you will be my first and last love.....will you ever forgive me for breaking your heart?" Jungkook hands him a white rose
Jimin smiles, accepting the flower cautiously. His eyes widen when he sees Jungkook go on one knee and open a ring box
"Please marry me.." Jungkook looks at the boy with so much love that it breaks Jimin's heart. A tear rolls down the boy's cheek
"I will..." Jungkook smiles as he slips on the ring and stands up holding Jimin's hand "...I love you Jungkook"
"I love you too Jimin" Jungkook kisses the boy's forehead

A/N: I hope you guys got the characters I was going for. Both Jungkook and Jimin were young - mistakes and misunderstandings happen. Jimin was hurt that Jungkook even thought of someone else. Jungkook didn't fully understand that he made a mistake by not revealing his relationship. He liked the attention from A/N even though he didn't want to be with anyone physically other than Jimin. They still loved each other after the breakup and now being mature enough to realise what they want in life. They both decide to establish their lost relationship and eventually be together again. This time for life.
