Harry's head came out the pensive. He looked in Dumbledore's direction.
'Sir..' Harry started but Dumbledore held his hand up to stop him
Dumbledore looked all sorts of emotions as he perched himself on some steps.
'This is beyond anything I imagined' he looks helpless
'You mean to say they succeeded sir, in making a Horcrux?' Harry asked
'Oh yes, they succeeded alright. Not just once..' Dumbledore told Harry
'Where are they, exactly?' Harry looks to Dumbledore
It was just them two, in his office. It was in the dead of night
'Could be anything, the most common place of objects.' Dumbledore gets up and goes over to his desk, Harry follows
'A ring for example. Or a book' he shows Gaunt's ring. Along with the diary of Tom Riddle.
'Tom Riddles diary' Harry breath quickened
'It's a Horcrux, yes' Dumbledore exclaimed
Harry looked to him as Dumbledore continued
'Four years ago when you saved Ginny Weasley's life in the chamber of secrets you brought me this' Dumbledore held up the black book with a hole in the middle
'I knew then this was a different kind of magic. Very dark. Very powerful, but tonight I had no idea how powerful.' Dumbledore got interrupted by an impatient Harry
'And the ring?' He looked at the tiny ring
'Belonged to Voldemorts mother, Tom Riddle later passed it onto his love Venus Ravenclaw. Who held possession of it. Difficult to find. Even more difficult...to destroy' Dumbledore held his hand up Harry's eyes lingered on his hand which looked like it had been infected.
'B-but if you could find them all if you did destroy each Horcrux— Harry started
'One destroys Voldemort.' Dumbledore finishes
'How do you find them? They could be anywhere could they ' Harry says eagerly
'True. Magic, very dark magic. He only told Venus Ravenclaw where exactly he had hid them, nobody else possesses the power to know how to find his soul in objects, only her.' Dumbledore looks down at the ring
Harry then spins the ring, and it stops.
Harry looks around as Dumbledore goes around the room.
'It's where you've been going. Isn't it sir? When you leave the school' Harry is looking for answers
'Yes. And perhaps I think I've maybe found another' Dumbledore looks deeply into Harry's eyes.
Harry then went back to his dorm. To see everyone sleeping. He wished Venus was alive, this would be a lot easier. Of course nothing comes easy.
He couldn't sleep all that night, he tossed and turned. It's like something was preventing him from sleep.
Draco Malfoy has been acting suspicious lately. Harry is the only one that thinks he is a deatheater. But nobody believes him, but they are wrong. And Harry can prove it.
To think Voldemort had a love. Someone loved a vile man, Venus had a pure heart, but he made that heart fade. Fade away....
What about him and Ginny, Harry did use the sectumsempra curse on Draco. What would Ginny think? Of course she forgave him, but guilt washed over him like a tsunami.
Venus was corrupted by dark magic, dark dark magic. And it was very powerful. This makes Harry question, can he even beat Voldemort at all?
Love and hate don't mix, unless love turns into hate. But Venus was blinded by love to even know what she was doing.
Right?
Harry looked out the darkened window, he flexed his neck. How could he find these horcruxes, it could be anywhere in the world for all he knows. Anywhere, in any object. And there is more than probably a billion in this world.
Does Voldemort ever think of her? Was he even sad when she passed?
Harry soon fell into a sleep. All the mementoes of Cedric dying, the ministry, dementors had filled my brain. He jolted in my sleep waking up.
Dumbledore had wanted Harry to come with him, to hunt for the Horcrux. They had already destroyed two.
Who knows Voldemorts next move, Harry had found out that he can look into his mind.
Voldemort was smart, he couldn't of made it easy. Even more smarter than Hermione. And that was smart beyond.
What would life be like if Voldemort never existed? If Venus didn't fall into his trap? What if his parents were alive?
All the things Harry wants. But cannot have.
