Dumbledore was facing Harry looking at the Sword of Gryffindor embedded with the Basilisks venom. He then with his boney hands picked up and looked at the diary with the words 'Tom Marvolo Riddle' engraved at the bottom in gold. A huge hole was in the centre were the fang was stabbed into the book.
He eyed it before turning back to Harry who was covered in dust from the chamber. He looked on.
'Professor Dumbledore, why would Tom make a book a Horcrux?' Harry asked
'Now, Harry. He wrote all of his thoughts down in this very book. Most of them I remember were about a girl called Venus Ravenclaw.He took a certain interest in her.' Dumbledore replied knowing about their lives seeming he taught both of them were at Hogwarts.
'Pardon me, but what does this girl Venus Ravenclaw have to do with Voldemort?' Harry questioned
'He had a certain history with her. When they were both at Hogwarts, she was more powerful and extraordinary than Tom Riddle. She was the heir to Ravenclaw. They had an immense rivalry and hatred to one another. But it all changed' Dumbledore went on
'What history? But I don't get it. Why was she so important?' Harry looked at the diary
'She was important because she was the reason he has become so powerful yet dangerous. She was the reason he made Horcruxes. She was smart, and he took advantage of that, but it developed into something more' Dumbledore went on
'You knew her? You taught her didn't you. But Voldemort only wants power, no wonder he used her. He probably never even thought about her as something more' Harry gasped shockingly
'Yes, I knew her. She was a brilliant young witch. I did teach her, she was everything. But your wrong Harry. He did love her, very dearly but nobody has ever brought it up. He only loved her, they call their love the 'sinful love'. All the teachers know about this but are forbidden to ever speak of it. Now of you go to bed pip pip' Dumbledore beckoned
'Can you tell me more? Why do they call it the sinful love?' Harry asked
'That is a question for another day, Harry. She knows things others don't, she knows how to end Voldemort, she knows everything. The two were inseparable but made a dangerous yet very powerful duo.' Dumbledore looked at Harry
'Do you know if she is alive?' Harry asked at the door of Dumbledore's office
'No, she died of Spattergriot. A contagious disease, it was fatal. But Voldemort wanted to avenge her by becoming then man he is today.' Dumbledore said sadly
'So everything he did or is doing, is for her?' Harry questioned
'Yes, he believes that if people couldn't save other people then they were incapable of performing magic. And he uses the representation of Venus Ravenclaw, in defence.' Dumbledore lowers his head
'Did she leave anything at Hogwarts? You know to give us more insight' Harry asked curiously
'I have no idea, but her life is the only ticket to defeating Voldemort' Dumbledore exclaimed lowly
'Can you tell me? Everything' Harry asked
'For another day, Harry' Dumbledore put his hands up
Harry left with many questions, he needed to consult Hermione and Ron, and fast. Everyone had been back to normal, by now.
He then went to the Gryffindor common room and found Hermione with Ron. On the sofa.
'Hermione! Ron! Dumbledore told me something about Tom Riddle!' Harry puffed out
'What! What is it Harry?' Hermione jumped up stopping infront of him
'He had a love, Venus Ravenclaw. Dumbledore told me she knew Voldemort like she was him! I need to find out more about her! She was the reason he made Horcruxes she was the reason he is what he is today!' Harry rushed around the bookshelves looking for books
'I don't think that book will be in the Gryffindor common room, Harry. I know she is the heir to Ravenclaw, but it will be hard finding a book on them both. Why not ask a teacher?' Hermione told him
'I can't, teachers forbid to talk about it. Plus most of them have retired accept for Dumbledore, he knew them and saw them! He taught them! He's the only one who knows all the answers!' Harry told Hermione and Ron who had uneasy looks
'Maybe he will tell you when we are older, we are only in second year. You expect him to tell you everything now? I've heard that they call it the sinful love. She was the smartest witch of her age, like me. That's all I know, I read a book about the heirs of the houses' Hermione smiled
'Yeah, Harry take a break. Your not seeing Voldemort, Tom Riddle ever again.' Ron reassured
'But there is so many things unexplained' Harry huffed slumping down in the sofa as Hermione and Ron took places beside him
'We will find out more tomorrow, just get some sleep.' Hermione hugged him
'Yeah, but the worst thing is that Venus Ravenclaw is dead, she died from Spattergriot.' Harry said lowly
'I've heard about that disease, Spattergroit caused the skin of those infected to break out in purple pustules. It is an especially virulent strain of the fungus, had the additional symptoms of severe confusion and memory loss. A massive outbreak of Spattergroit was one of several things speculated to have been behind the mystery of why no one in the wizarding world could remember the Quidditch World Cup actually taking place in 1877.' Hermione states
'How do you know everything?' Ron scoffed
'I've read all about Wizarding diseases at the library,you might want to try reading, Ronald. It will be beneficial seeming your to dumb to function.' Hermione shot back (damn mione)
'I wonder if she has left a diary of some sort, like Tom Riddle. So we know more about Tom and her' Harry sighs
Hermione had a realisation moment causing her to gasp
'I know! We just have to go back in time!So we can see it for ourselves!' She squeals
'Are you mental?! We are not doing that!' Ron shook his head eating another chocolate frog
'Ron, it's the only way. We have to go to Dumbledore's immediately tomorrow' Harry got up
Ron followed as they all went into their chambers
Hermione went to her dorm and got a book out.
Lavender peered over her shoulder
'Ravenclaw heirs? Why are you reading that?' She asked
'None of your business, Brown.' She snapped
'Sorry I asked' she whimpered
Hermione kept reading but she couldn't find anything on Venus Ravenclaw. She was the only way they can defeat Voldemort forever.
Soon they all fell into a sleep...
The next they they all met in the Great Hall. And went to Dumbledore's office
'I'd expect you to come back' Dumbledore smiled
'We have to look into the past. But how do we do that!' Hermione puffed
'That is very advanced magic, Miss Granger. You are too young to be doing that sort of magic. But I can tell you about how they met first. Then when your older we will bring out the pensive' Dumbledore said dropping as a Sherbert lemon into his mouth
'What's a pensive?' Ron asked sitting down on a stool as everyone followed
'Where you have memory and your drop it into a sort of liquid to let you relive the past, but you are too young so I'll tell you by merely talking' Dumbledore smiled
So he began to tell the story of their Sinful love......

So I decided to start a Tom Riddle fanfic
Tom riddle is fucking hot ngl
Yall this story will b written in third person because we are going back into the past! I will tell you when we are switching from present to past and visa versa. Some chapters will be about Harry in the present trying to defeat Voldy and the past will be about Tom's journey to power. It will lead up to the battle of Hogwarts and her death!
