Felix's narrowed eyes roamed over the crowd gathered around the pool.

He was there – Felix could feel it.

Grabbing a glass of the pink-red alcoholic punch that was being served to all of the guests, Felix began weaving his way through the crowd, making a beeline for the middle of the dance floor. He could tell he was already attracting attention, what with the short skirt he was wearing and the tank-top that revealed a lot more than he was comfortable showing...

But it was a necessary evil – a means to an end.

Knocking back some of his drink, he then closed his eyes and let the annoyingly loud music take hold of his body. He began dancing with abandon like he'd never dared to dance before, swaying his hips and putting everything into appearing as alluring as he could, intent on drawing his target in.

He could feel unknown hands brushing against his body, groping his backside, tickling his braided hair – he ignored it all and kept on dancing, mindful to turn so the numerous lights around would catch on the glimmering makeup he'd put earlier. He could feel his heart thundering against his ribcage, sweat forming behind his neck—

Hands, on his waist – squeezing, more suffocating than the crowd surrounding him.

"Aren't you a pretty one, hm?"

Felix exhaled shakily, squashing down the flash of fear and slowly turning around, not pulling himself from the stranger's hold. He eventually came face to face with exactly the man he'd been looking for – Lee Minho.

"You're one to talk, handsome," he grinned, ignoring the disgust coiling in his throat. He leaned in close enough for the older to smell the alcohol in his breath. "You're bolder than the others, too. I like it."

Minho's lips curled up a bit as his hands tightened on Felix's waist. "Really? Then what do you say about getting out of here and finding someplace a little more... private?"

"I'd say lead the way."

With a giggle, Felix spun around and linked their arms together, leaning most of his weight against the older as he stumbled on purpose. Minho either didn't notice or didn't mind, merely guiding him out of the partying crowd and in direction of the luxurious house further up the beach. They entered, and there wasn't anyone to be seen. Felix could feel his anticipation rising, but he managed to hide his trembling hands, somehow. His plan was going without a hitch and, now that he and Minho were alone, he could finally do what he'd been planning on doing for over six months.

He could finally kill Lee Minho.

.

Over half-a-year ago, Felix had a best friend named Jisung.

::

"Sungie, we shouldn't split up—"

"Oh, loosen up, Lix! Can't you see that God of a man looking at me? I'm definitely getting something good tonight, and I'll call you later, okay? No worries!"

::

Only Jisung never called, nor did he ever return.

Alive, that is.

Felix went to the police mere hours after he realized Jisung's phone had disconnected but, despite his insistence that something was wrong, they refused to send out a search party until a full day had past. Unfortunately, they never found his friend, and Felix spent the following two months looking for him.

And then, a group of high schoolers found a body on the shore.

DNA tests revealed it to be Jisung. He was completely deformed by the water – death by drowning, the police ruled out. His head was damaged, they judged he'd hit it when falling down the cliff. Except Felix knew his friend, and he also knew no amount of alcohol or cajoling could ever make him climb said cliff, let alone near its edge.

Someone had killed Jisung, that much he knew.

Eaten by guilt and grief, driven by the need for justice and revenge, Felix began an investigation of his own. He stole security footage from the beach house where the party had been held, he broke into the police precinct to retrieve potential evidence, he interrogated every single guest on the list of the party... All of his research eventually led him to one individual: Lee Minho. Actual owner of the beach house, he rented the place out to large groups who wanted a nice place to celebrate and relax. However, he always stuck around – and he also happened to be the "hot guy" Jisung had gone to hook up with.

Through more digging, Felix discovered that Jisung wasn't the first person to go missing during those parties but, apparently, those who vanished were usually people without many friends, or any at all – basically people who wouldn't be terribly missed – but, contrarily to Jisung, they were never found again. And, when Felix ultimately decided to break into the morgue to check Jisung's body, he finally found damning evidence: the initials "L.M." branded into the deformed chest.

Lee Minho had killed Jisung, that much was certain now. However, Felix couldn't go to the police again – they were obviously covering it up, because there was no way they could have missed that awful mark – and he'd surely get in trouble for all of the evidence he stole, anyway.

Meaning he was on his own.

Meaning he was going to deal with Lee Minho himself.

There was a party held at Lee Minho's place every week or so – apparently, a popular hangout spot. Felix used those opportunities to slip inside and observe Lee Minho from afar, learn his patterns. He watched him approach boy after boy, all of them quite pretty, but also on their own. He watched them take them into his house and, though all of them miraculously came back out...

Felix knew better. He knew Minho was just waiting for the perfect prey to show up.

And so, he decided to become that perfect prey.

For his best friend. For Jisung.

::

"You're such a great friend, Lix... I'm really happy I got to meet you."

"Why are you being so sappy, Sungie?"

"Ah, no reason. Just feel a little nostalgic, what with college coming to an end. Hey, what would you say about taking a year off to travel the world together?"

"I'd say it sounds like an amazing idea. Let's do it!"

::

Which led him... to tonight.

.

Felix swallowed back down the knot of emotions that had begun to form in his throat, forcing his tears away as he mindlessly clutched the small necklace he was wearing – the last birthday gift he received from Jisung. He inhaled deeply as they entered Minho's spacious living room.

It's time.

He didn't care if he ended up in jail for the rest of his life. He was going to kill Lee Minho and avenge his best friend.

"Come here, pretty boy," he groaned, pulling Felix onto his lap. "Fuck, you're so small..."

Felix hummed, leaning into the older even though his touch repulsed him. He needed to play along for just a little longer, so he began letting out breathless little moans when Minho started kissing and nipping at his neck. An actual moan was startled out of him when Minho suddenly bit down a lot harder without warning, and he felt the older grin against his bruising skin.

Minho's hands began roaming a little more loosely, slipping under his shirt and his skirt, and Felix knew he needed to act now. So, while Minho was distracted, Felix looped his arms around his neck to bring them closer. Unbeknownst to his target, he pulled out the thin, sharp knife he'd hidden under the sole long sleeve of his top.

His heart began beating more wildly, and he refrained the urge to throw up as, with a trembling hand, he lifted the knife, letting it hover just shy of Minho's nape. He gulped, suddenly realizing that he was... he was about to take a life. He was going to kill someone, and there was no going back from that.

But then Jisung's smile flashed before his eyes, and any trace of hesitation vanished.

For Jisung!!!

He tightened his grip, about to bring the knife down—

"Your friend is still alive."

—and everything stopped. His movement, his heart, his breathing, time itself. All came to a standstill as the tip of his blade trembled a mere inch away from Minho's neck. The older pressed one last kiss to Felix's neck before pulling back, a lazy smirk stretching his lips as he took in Felix's expression.

"What- what did you say?" he breathed out.

"Your friend is still alive," Minho repeated. "But he won't be for much longer if you don't put down that silly toy of yours."

Felix gulped, growing frightened as he realized that he'd been caught. Seemingly growing impatient, Minho brought his hand behind him and pulled the knife right out of Felix's grasp, throwing it away without even a glance. The freckled boy still couldn't bring himself to move, too shocked by the sudden revelation, and genuinely terrified.

Still, he wanted – no, needed answers.

"Where is he?" he asked, his voice breaking a bit.

Minho's smirk merely widened as he stroked Felix's cheek with his finger. "Don't worry, kitten. I'm not going to hurt you. You just want to see your friend, right? That's okay, I can bring you to him. He's missed you a lot, too."

Too caught up in the abrupt change of pace, Felix failed to notice Minho was holding something until a sharp, stinging sensation flared in his hip. He yelped, instinctively trying to pull away, but Minho's grasp merely tightened. A second later, the pain died down as Minho pulled out the needle he'd just used, setting the now-empty syringe on the small table beside them.

Felix wanted to move, to run, to scream for help – but he just felt numb all over, his tongue heavy and his body unresponsive. He began swaying in place, his vision going double and darkening around the edges, and he eventually slumped against Minho. The psycho merely cooed, patting his head as he rocked him a bit.

"That's it, kitten – close those pretty eyes for me. Everything will be just fine."

The last thought that ran through Felix's head as the last of his consciousness slipped away... was that he'd really fucked up.

.

Minho silently made his way outside using the back door, cradling Felix's body close to his chest. He soon reached the beach, much further away from where the party was being held – there, a speed boat was waiting for him, along with his trusty bodyguard.

"Is that him?" Chan asked curiously as Minho carefully settled the freckled boy in the backseat – he'd never seen his boss so tender with someone. "The one you've been after for over a year?"

"Less questioning, more driving," replied curtly Minho, sitting down next to Felix and pulling the younger so he'd lay against him. "The party is nearing its end, and there's only so much money I can spare on silencing witnesses."

"You got it."

Chan promptly started the boat and, not wasting any more time, they promptly sped away from the shore. Minho was used to this type of travel, so he wasn't perturbed by the water splashing from the sides or the cold, seaside night air now biting at his skin – but then he felt Felix shiver against him, and he remembered the precious boy was barely wearing anything.

He leaned over the seat to open the one in front of him, pulling out a thick blanket from the small compartment. Carefully wrapping it around Felix's body, he couldn't help but smile fondly as he took in the sight of the younger all cutely bundled up. He couldn't help but lean in and press a kiss to Felix's pouty lips, but he quickly pulled away with a sigh – it was no fun when the younger was so unresponsive.

Ahead of them, a small, dark island popped over the horizon.

.

Felix woke up in a bed that wasn't his own and a room he didn't recognize.

He was still wearing the same clothes as yesterday, which did reassure him a bit, but that small relief was quickly quashed as he found the thick collar now wrapped around his neck, snug and tight around his throat with a small tag pending from the front. He couldn't take it off, there was a lock in the back, and there was also a strong leather leash attached to it, binding him to the headboard.

Understanding he wouldn't be able to go anywhere, Felix pulled a blanket around him in a feeble attempt at covering himself. Even if it was quite warm in the room, with sunlight streaming from the large panel windows all around, he felt uncomfortably exposed, and the fact that this room looked so normal, if not a bit on the luxurious side, gave him the creeps.

Finally, after about half-a-hour, the door of the bedroom opened, and none other than Lee Minho made his entrance. He seemed unperturbed by the sight of Felix awake, merely closing the door behind him before placing down the tray he was carrying on the desk nearby.

"Where is he?" Felix's voice was hoarse, and he terrified, but all he could think about was what Minho told him the night before. "You said- you said Jisung was alive, so where- where is he?"

"Don't worry, you'll get to be reunited soon enough – but first, I want you to eat something. You've lost a lot of weight, it's not healthy for you, kitten."

Felix shivered a bit. Why was Minho talking as if they'd known each other for years? This was the first time they ever directly interacted... Still, if he wanted answers, he didn't have much of a choice, so he simply nodded stiffly in answer.

Visibly pleased, Minho brought the tray to him and carefully set it down on his lap. The food looked and smelled incredible, and it tasted just as great, though it killed Felix to admit it. He was also worried Minho might have slipped something in it, but he rationalized that the older wouldn't have gone to the trouble of kidnapping him just to poison him the moment he woke up.

He was able to eat about half of the food offered before he finally had enough.

"I'm not hungry anymore," he announced quietly, setting the tray aside.

"That's alright, you ate well," assured Minho with a satisfied smile. "But you've forgotten your manners, kitten. What do good boys say when they're given something, hm?"

Felix felt absolutely sick.

"Thank you," he whispered, lowering his eyes.

Minho hummed, pleased again as he patted Felix's head – and if he noticed Felix flinch away, he didn't comment on it. "Good boy. Since you did as told, I'm going to keep my promise too – come on, let's go see your friend."

Felix didn't say anything, too scared of potentially provoking the one person who could take him to Jisung – he still couldn't quite believe he was still alive, though. Anticipation rising in his chest, Felix jumped to his feet the moment Minho unclasped the leash from the headboard.

A shudder ran down his spine when the older wrapped the other end of the leash around his hand, instead.

"Come on, kitten," he urged, tugging the leash so Felix would follow.

The freckled boy swallowed thickly, feeling quite humiliated, but he pushed it down and followed obediently. If Jisung truly was still alive, then they could surely overpower Minho together and escape from wherever they were. With that thought in mind, Felix fell in step with Minho.

Though there were numerous windows all around, he couldn't see much beyond extremely tall trees. Were they in a forest of some sort? How long had he been asleep for? They reached the bottom floor soon enough and Minho guided them to what appeared to be the kitchen.

Felix's heart dropped when he saw Jisung sitting on the floor and eating directly from a stainless steel bowl.

"Sungie...?" he choked out.

His friend startled, straightening up as his eyes snapped over to Felix. Tears filled Jisung's eyes, but Felix failed to see them because his own sight had grown blurred by tears. With a relieved cry, Felix threw himself at his best friend, bawling his eyes out as he hugged Jisung with as much strength as he could muster.

Jisung was crying too, but his cries were more like muffled whimpers as he clung to Felix's shirt with the utmost desperation. Felix didn't know for how long they stayed like this, just crying and hugging each other – long enough for him to forget they weren't alone, at the very least.

"Oh, Sungie," he whispered, pulling away to cradle Jisung's face. "What happened to you?"

Jisung was still crying, shaking his head as he refused to meet Felix's eyes. But then, a tug on Felix's leash reminded him that Minho was still very much present, and he shivered as he felt the older suddenly loom behind him.

"Come on, Jisung," he cooed with a saccharine voice. "Show your precious friend what fun we've been up to together."

With a faint noise, Jisung closed his eyes in resignation and slowly opened his mouth... revealing that his tongue had been cut out. Felix gagged, horror filling his veins as he took in Jisung's pained expression. Anger suddenly replaced his fear and he whirled on Minho, pulling Jisung a little tighter against him in a feeble attempt at protection.

"You monster! Why the fuck would you do this!?"

Minho quirked a brow, unimpressed. "His constant whining was getting on my nerves. So, I took away his talking privileges. Bad pets don't get to speak."

"You're an absolute psycho!!!"

Jisung whimpered in his arms, as if trying to stop him from provoking Minho. But the older merely shrugged, unbothered by the accusation. He pulled out his phone and called someone, staring at Felix as he spoke.

"Chan? Yes, I'd like you to take my puppy for a walk."

Felix didn't quite understand what he meant by that, but he easily understood he was referring to Jisung, seeing as his best friend began whimpering even louder. He tightened his hold around him, absolutely refusing to budge an inch – they wouldn't get separated again, no matter what.

"Come on, kitten," urged Minho, tugging on his leash. "Let's go have a talk."

"No. I'm not leaving him again!"

"I'm not giving you a choice—"

"Screw you!"

For the first time since they met, Minho's expression darkened a bit, displeased by the blatant defiance. He gave a harsher tug on the leash, and Felix let out a pained noise as it suddenly became a lot more difficult to breathe. Jisung started trying to push him away, but Felix stubbornly held on – and then, a man in a suit entered the room and unceremoniously picked Jisung up.

"No!!! LET HIM GO!"

But the unknown man – probably Chan – was stronger, and Jisung was still trying to push him away, and Felix's strength was dwindling by the second as less and less air made it to his lungs. After a few more seconds of struggling, Jisung was finally ripped from his grasp, and he let out a strangled cry as he collapsed on the cold floor, powerless as he watched Jisung being taken away.

He could breathe again, Minho loosening his hold on the leash the moment Jisung vanished from sight, and he let out a small sob as the older gripped his hair and pulled, forcing him to look up and meet his eyes.

"Let's make things simple, kitten," murmured Minho, his face now scarily blank. "I took your friend for exactly three reasons. The first was to lure you to me in the first place. The second was so you'd have some company once I finally brought you home. And the third... was that you'd behave once you got here."

"What- what—"

"I don't want to hurt you, Felix." It was the first time Minho used his name, and it sent cold shivers down his spine, his neck aching a little more as Minho pulled tighter on his hair. "I don't want to mar your perfection in any way. So, here's how things are going to work from here on out: if you speak out of turn, if you lash out, if you try to escape, if you disobey me, or if you break any other rule... Jisung is the one who'll get punished for it, and I'll make you watch every second of it. Am I understood?"

Felix could only choke out another sob as he weakly nodded his head, and Minho finally released him. He collapsed right back on the floor with a strangled noise, curling up on himself a bit as he cried, only now realizing that things were much worse than he'd first expected.

There was no way he'd be able to fight back on his own, and Jisung had obviously been conditioned not to disobey. Who knew what kind of horrors and pain he'd already had to endure at the hands of this psychopath? And apparently, he'd only been used as a mean to lure Felix... Jisung was suffering, and it was all Felix's fault.

He couldn't let Minho hurt Jisung any longer.

"Please, don't hurt him," he begged, his tears leaving blazing trails on his cheeks. "I won't- I won't do anything so please- please, don't hurt him anymore."

"Hmm, good kitten," hummed Minho, now gently petting his hair. "I knew we'd see eye to eye. And I won't hurt him unless either of you does something to warrant it, okay? But still, I feel like this particular lesson won't be learned properly unless you learn just how good you have it... Come on, I want to show you something."

Felix scrambled to his feet as Minho tugged on his leash again, his legs trembling, but somehow still supporting his weight. They left the kitchen, crossed the living room, and began walking down a different hallway. They went to the other side of the house, soon stepping outside on some sort of large balcony.

Briefly blinded by the sun, Felix could hardly see anything as Minho guided them over to one large, velvet couch that had been set up near the ledge of the balcony. He sat down, pulling Felix onto his lap, and the freckled boy had no choice but to try and make himself comfortable there.

Minho then grabbed some sort of controller and pressed down a button. A loud noise, like a big door opening, echoed from underneath them. Felix tensed, not knowing what to expect... until a small figure suddenly stumbled into view, a few meters below them.

At first fearing it might be Jisung, Felix then realized he couldn't recognize the boy at all. He looked to be in a pretty bad shape, bruised and bloodied all over, and he was wearing tattered, dirty clothes. He looked haggard, swaying in place with barely any strength – but then Minho pressed down on another button, and another door opened, and low growls began echoing from below.

Felix's eyes went wide as, out from the space underneath the balcony, came out an actual tiger, soon followed by a second, and a third. The three of them were big, but also thin – clearly underfed. Horror and dread churned in Felix's guts as he belatedly realized they were now heading for the poor boy below.

"No," he whispered, shaking his head. "No, please, stop—call them back, don't—"

"Shh, kitten. I want you to watch."

And, really, Felix couldn't bring himself to look away as the wild, starving beasts eventually made it to the dazed boy and pounced on him, tackling him to the ground and promptly starting to feast. The boy's pained screams echoed sinisterly in the jungle surrounding them as he was quickly torn apart by the feral animals, and Felix only managed to pull his eyes away from the macabre spectacle when he finally noticed the large pool of blood widening by the second.

Feeling sick, he turned to hide his face in Minho's chest, sobbing again. It apparently wasn't enough for Minho, however, because he pressed another button, and yet another door opened – and then, not one, but numerous people stumbled out in the open, about ten guys and girls of varying ages in states similar to the first boy's.

"Come on, kitten," softly urged Minho as he tilted Felix's head to he'd look down again, his voice like venom in his ears. "I told you to watch."

So Felix had no choice but to watch as one of the girls also fell prey to the tigers, as three of them fell in hidden holes and ended up empaled on the sharp rods at the bottom, as a fourth one got his leg stuck in a bear trap and ended up ultimately being killed by the tigers too, unable to fight back.

He had no choice but to watch as a woman accidentally activated another trap and ended up with her body filled with arrows, as two guys tried to return from where they came from, only to end up electrocuted, as another was caught in a net made of sharp wires and gravity eventually made him pass through in pieces, as the last one tried to make a run for the jungle but ended up shot right in the head by a hidden riffle.

By the time their screams completely died down and the smell of blood completely filled the air, Felix was barely even conscious anymore, absolutely traumatized and wishing he could just wake up from this nightmare already. Minho cooed as he wiped some of his tears away.

"It's alright, kitten. I'll never make you go through that," he assured, brushing some hair out of Felix's face. "But your friend, on the other end..."

"Don't—please, don't- don't hurt him—"

"Shh, shh, it's okay. This was just a warning, hm? Now you know exactly what to expect if you ever break the rules or make me angry – can't say I didn't warn you, can you? I want to be nice with you and play fair, but don't take my generosity for granted, kitten. Okay?"

Felix stifled a sob as he hid his face in Minho's chest again, nodding quietly in understanding. Any rebellious thought was promptly quashed by the terrible things he'd just witnessed – there was no way he'd ever risk putting Jisung through this. Seemingly satisfied, Minho got up, easily picking Felix up and carrying him back inside.

"Good boys get rewards. Bad boys get punished. If you want to see your friend again, then you'll have to earn it," warned Minho as he brought Felix back to his room. "If you do exactly as I say, I'll be able to give you all of the good things..." Smiling a bit, Minho pressed a kiss to Felix's temple. "You have no idea how long I've been waiting for this moment. My precious kitten, I finally get to hold you...!"

Felix merely sobbed harder as Minho laid him down in bed and reattached the leash to the headboard, curling up on himself. His quest for justice had just turned into one for survival, and he genuinely didn't know for how long he'd be able to hold out before his mind finally caved under the pressure.

Minho simply hummed happily as he began petting his hair again.
