Pairing: Chan & Felix & Jeongin

Genre: Sugar Daddy AU

!!TW!! : language, very mild angst, as the title implies: sugar daddies/baby relationship

.

.

.

It had been two weeks since Chan and Jeongin contacted Felix that first time, and the freckled boy wasn't going to lie and say he wasn't interested in developing their relationship a little further.

They started following each other on Instagram, so Felix knew they weren't actually catfishing him, and they conversed on the phone every evening – and they even switched it up to Facetime a few days ago, too. Felix knew he could trust them, to a certain extent. After two weeks of getting to know each other, he was fairly convinced that they were genuine people who wouldn't double-cross him or hold whatever money they spent on him over his head.

Speaking of money, they had already started sending him a daily allowance for "spending time with them" on the chat and on the phone – which Felix found a bit stupid, because he wasn't actually doing anything to earn it, but since the amount wasn't anywhere near as crazy as Jeongin's first gift, he decided to simply roll with it and be grateful for their generosity.

Felix wanted to do things properly, now. As strange as the entire ordeal was, he finally felt ready to engage in a proper sugar relationship. So, it was with no little amount of nervousness that he had written to the pair and had asked them to meet with him at a nice café not too far from campus. Needless to say, Jeongin and Chan had been overjoyed. Jeongin had then proceeded with sending him a video of Chan tripping over himself while running upstairs to pick an outfit, which did help him relax a bit. In the end, as rich as they were, they really were just a couple of dorks.

In love, supplied a voice in the back of his head. Dorks in love.

He wisely chose to ignore that voice.

And so, that was how Felix now found himself walking in direction of the café where Chan and Jeongin were already waiting for him, having apparently shown up thirty minutes in advance because they were "too eager".

Felix found it cute, not going to lie.

Upon arriving at the café, he almost instantly spotted the pair. They stood out a fair bit, despite wearing quite casual clothes – probably because of the auras emanating from them. Despite being a rather bold person, Felix found himself becoming a little intimidated, and it was with a slow pace that he eventually found his way to the table.

The moment they saw him, though, their expressions instantly lit up. The sight warmed his heart and instantly made him relax.

"Hi," he greeted with a small smile.

"Felix!" beamed Jeongin, his white-haired styled so neatly Felix wanted nothing more than run his hand through it and mess it up a bit. "I'm so happy to finally see you in person!"

"Thank you for asking us out," added Chan, his dimples showing as he smiled broadly. "We wanted to ask you first, but we didn't want to seem too forward and scare you off..."

Felix nodded in understanding, sliding into the booth next to Jeongin. "It's okay. I'm actually pretty grateful that you let me set the pace with all... this."

Chan's smile widened at that, if possible. "If it can reassure you, Innie and I are new to this too. How about we order some drinks and discuss this properly?"

Felix could only smile and nod, trusting things would be alright.

.

They talked. They talked for a pretty long time, clearing up any doubts, answering any questions, explaining their respective expectations regarding the dynamic they wanted to establish, etc, etc.

Chan and Jeongin were busy people with busy lives. They didn't get as much free time together as they wanted, their schedules often ending up opposing each other, and they were quite stressed because of their jobs. They wanted a more casual relationship on the side, one that would allow them to unwind without having to worry about the other being lonely. They both loved each other dearly, but they had admitted that something had been lacking for quite a while now, both unable to properly spoil the other and desiring to have a third party whom they'd be able to make happy with their money.

It sounded a bit ludicrous to Felix but, then again, he supposed rich people had another way of seeing life – they surely had numerous struggles he couldn't even begin to understand and, if they figured the best way to make their lives better was by adding a sugar baby in it, well, he wasn't about to complain.

Felix informed them of his current financial struggles with more details than he had provided before. He told them of his tuition, of his dorm's cost, of the food he could barely afford and the homework that ended up piling up because of how much time he spent worrying about money and trying to find a job. He also told them that, despite the whole dynamic, he didn't feel comfortable just taking their money in exchange for a few minutes of chatting. He said he wanted to be able to actually do something to earn it, and they easily understood his position, saying they would come up with a way for him to "work" without adding to his stress load or taking up too much of his time.

Until they found out how to do that, however, both parties agreed on simple outings and, if it ever happened, Felix would also accompany them to a few official events (mostly because they found it annoying and there was always one of them dragged away by other important people to discuss boring business). Chan also explained that they would draw up an official contract and send it to him later today, only moving on with their new relationship once Felix had signed it. He insisted that Felix read all of it and, if there was something he didn't like or felt like it was missing, then he was free to ask Chan for some modifications.

And so, it was satisfied with their meeting and eager to get to know them better that Felix finally left the café. They had insisted on paying for their outing despite Felix having been the one to invite them, playfully arguing that he had to start getting used to them paying for his stuff.

Who knows? Maybe this is actually going to work...

.

Felix ended up signing the contract.

As per Chan's request, he had thoroughly read it, and he even asked Jisung to compare it to his own, just in case. But, as expected, everything in the contract was perfectly decent and reasonable, and so Felix signed it that very evening.

So... Felix now had two sugar daddies.

How did my life become so weird...?

In the following two weeks or so, he didn't see Chan and Jeongin in person again, the two being extremely busy and only able to spare the time to occasionally chat or make a video call. However, as per all parties agreed when signing the contract, Felix still received a weekly allowance. It was a pretty considerable sum but, considering it was just enough to cover the costs of his tuition, rent, and food, and some other basic necessities, he figured he didn't exactly have room to complain.

Thanks to their financial support, Felix was able to finally relax a little, sleep better, and focus on his studies. It truly was freeing, and he thanked Jisung numerous times for getting him involved in this entire scene despite his initial doubts and protests.

And then, at last, the opportunity to actually earn his money came.

"You want me to come to a party with you?"

"It's an important gala where everyone is kind of expected to have a plus one. Innie can't come because he has an important meeting at the same time, and we figured it would be a nice way to introduce you to our scene, so to speak."

Felix hummed in understanding. "Alright. I'm free that evening, so sure. Is there anything in particular I should wear? I'll probably have to go shopping—"

"Don't worry about a thing, I'll handle everything. Just be outside your dorm at 4 PM sharp and leave the rest to me."

"Alright, if you're so sure. See you then, hyung. Goodnight!"

"Goodnight, Felix. Sweet dreams."

Felix couldn't help but blush a bit as he ended the call. Jisung, sitting on the other end of the couch, wiggled his eyebrows at him with a grin. For only answer, Felix kicked him in the side.

.

As per requested, Felix was outside his dorm at 4 PM sharp, a sleek black car pulling up the street the moment he stepped foot outside. He hesitantly walked over, only relaxing when the window of the backseat lowered to reveal none other than Jeongin.

"I thought you were busy tonight, Jeongin. Did the plans change?"

"No, unfortunately, I'm still very much stuck in the office tonight," sighed the younger, gesturing for him to make himself comfortable. "But since I had some free time, I figured I could at least spend some time with you before I had to go to work again."

"Well, it's nice to see you," assured Felix, offering him a small smile. "But, uh, speaking of tonight... What exactly am I supposed to do?"

"Basically just look pretty and enjoy yourself – though I doubt you'll have any difficulties with either of those," chuckled Jeongin, Felix instantly flushing a dark red. "You give Chan an excuse to avoid the old geezers after his money and you get free food and drinks for it."

"Old geezers...?"

"They've been working for the company for decades, and they're greedy little pains in the ass," huffed Jeongin, clicking his tongue. "They're always hounding Channie-hyung for more money, but this kind of events makes it even easier for them – but if Channie-hyung's accompanied, then they'll have to hold their tongues and leave him alone so as to avoid bad publicity."

"That sounds... awfully complicated," admitted Felix, a bead of sweat dripping down his forehead.

"Don't worry, he's used to fending off those vultures. Just focus on having fun, alright? It's a pretty low-level gala in the grand scheme of things, so there's no need to stress or anything."

"Alright. I'll take your word for it."

.

"I'm never trusting Jeongin again."

Chan shot him a bemused look. "Why is that?"

"He told me this was a low-level gala. How is this any sort of low-level?"

Chan laughed, linking their arms together as they headed inside. Felix pulled a bit at his collar – the suit was incredibly nice, and also twice his rent, so he sincerely hoped he wouldn't accidentally drop anything on it – now rather nervous. The venue was grand, with loads of people richly dressed and dozens of tables with food he'd never even seen before.

Low-level event. Right.

"It's a low-level event because of how many people are attending," then said Chan as he grabbed two glasses of champagne from a nearby tray. "The less people are invited or can afford to attend, the more important it is."

Felix slowly nodded in understanding, but refused the drink Chan was offering him. He wasn't much of a drinker, and he was too nervous to swallow anything right now. Chan didn't insist, simply putting the glass back down before gently guiding him toward one of the less crowded areas of the venue.

"I'm going to have to go and mingle a bit, but feel free to wander to the tables or the various entertainments offered."

"Wait, aren't I supposed to accompany you?"

"You're basically my way out if I want to excuse myself from any sort of conversation," shrugged Chan. "I'll find you if need be, is all. Don't worry, hm? Just go and have fun."

Felix quirked a brow at that, unconvinced. "Why does it feel like you just brought me here because you felt like it, and not because you actually needed me?"

Chan merely smiled before walking away, and Felix rolled his eyes – but free food was free food and, as such, he didn't waste any more time in heading for the buffet.

.

Against all expectations, Felix was enjoying himself. Though he felt out of place, the music was nice, and the food was good, and people generally steered clear of him, so he didn't have to worry about messing things up for Chan – who had joined him barely thirty minutes after they first split up.

"Are people unaware of your relationship with Jeongin?" he asked at some point. "Won't they find it strange to see you with someone else?"

"Jeongin and I's relationship isn't exactly public. We generally refrain from PDA and, since we've known each other for a long time, people tend to believe we only hang out for the sake of friendship between our two companies," Chan explained. "But we're not hiding it, and those who are aware of the nature of our relationship also know that we're not exclusive, per se."

The unexpected joy that surged through Felix's chest was almost too great for him to contain, but he quickly pushed it down – they were just talking, this was most definitely not an invitation.

"You're not?" he replied, hoping Chan wouldn't notice the longing in his voice.

The older smiled at him. "Innie and I discussed things before. We eventually concluded that we are exclusive, but we're open to having someone else if the two of us share the interest."

"O- oh. I see. And, um, have you found someone like that yet?"

Chan's smile merely widened a bit but, before he could add anything, someone suddenly stumbled into Felix, splattering wine all over the beautiful suit he'd been lent. He watched in horror as the red thoroughly soaked the white, satiny cloth, but strong hands roughly grabbed him by the collar before he could do anything.

"Can't you watch where you're going!?" snapped the man holding him, the smell of liquor blatant in his breath.

"You're- you're the one who walked right into me!" protested Felix.

"Aah? Don't you know who I am, you—"

"Let him go." The man's eyes widened as he finally noticed Chan, who looked incredibly angry (and maybe that expression turned Felix on a little more than it should). "Or don't you know who I am?"

"Mr.- Mr. Bang—"

"Save it. Get lost."

The man promptly released Felix and left, and it's only then that Felix noticed how the altercation had drawn the attention of a small crowd. He instantly flushed a deep red, feeling incredibly embarrassed. Had he just messed everything up? Everyone was looking at him with heavy judgement in their eyes and he couldn't help but wonder if Chan was angry at him too, for causing a scene.

"Felix?" He didn't dare look up, not wanting the sudden tears to escape him. "Oh, baby. Come on, let's go get you cleaned up."

He didn't fight Chan as the older took his hand and began guiding them outside. They soon reached the bathroom and, once inside, Chan gently cradled Felix's face to make him look up. Felix's eyes were a little red, his eyes teary, and Chan's heart instantly broke at the sight.

"Oh, Lixie..."

"I- I'm sorry, I didn't mean to cause a scene, I—"

"Hey, hey, you didn't do anything wrong, sweetheart," he assured quickly, gently brushing his thumbs over the few tears that escaped Felix's eyes. "I swear, it wasn't your fault. That guy was just an asshole." Felix sniffled a bit, and Chan offered him a reassuring smile. "Alright, let's get out of here."

"U- uh?"

"Come on."

Not leaving Felix any time to protest, Chan grabbed his hand again and they walked out of the bathroom. Instead of returning to the hall where the gala was held, however, they headed straight outside. Chan called their driver and, while they waited outside, he took off his fancy blue jacket and offered it to Felix so he wouldn't have to wear his dirty one any longer.

Felix accepted with a heavy blush, still embarrassed. He couldn't believe he'd just cried over something so stupid. He simply hoped the rest of the evening would go a little better.

.

It was the first time Felix ever stepped foot inside the luxurious apartment where Chan and Jeongin lived. It was spacious and beautiful and straight out of a fancy drama, and he immediately fell in love with the kitchen. He didn't have the time to look around, however, since Chan urged him to take a shower and grab whichever clothes he wanted from the room next to the bathroom.

Taking a shower definitely helped him regain some energy, and he felt much better when he finally got out. He promptly changed into a pair of shorts and an oversized hoodie – the two pieces of clothing that looked the least expensive – and then headed back to the living room while towel drying his hair.

He was quite surprised to find Jeongin there, with numerous bags of takeout.

"Lixie!" beamed the younger in greeting. "Heard you had a tough night, so I brought you loads of good food to make up for it!"

"You- you shouldn't have," he protested, averting his eyes. "Really, I should be the one making up for causing trouble like that—"

"I told you, it's not your fault," insisted gently Chan, patting the place on the couch next to him. "Come on, let's eat and relax a bit."

.

Felix woke up in a bed that most definitely wasn't his own the next morning, and it took him a while to remember where he was. Getting out of bed, he headed downstairs, where he found Jeongin enjoying coffee in the kitchen, with a box of sweets and breakfast pastries open on the counter.

"Good morning, baby," he greeted casually, smirking a bit when a blush instantly caught onto Felix's face. "Someone slept well last night, hm?"

"I- I'm sorry, I didn't mean to fall asleep so quickly—"

"Lixie, it's okay," assured Jeongin, gesturing for him to take a seat. "You were really tired yesterday, hm? I'm sorry, we should have remembered you're in the middle of finals. That's why you were so sensitive yesterday, hm?"

Felix's blush deepened as he lowered his eyes, still embarrassed. He hadn't slept this well in a long time, but it most definitely made a difference. He'd been staying up late at night trying to study to the best of his abilities in a tongue he didn't fully understand, and it had most definitely been taking its toll on his mind.

"Come on, eat up," he urged, offering him a plate and pushing the box of pastries closer to him. "We've already checked your schedules and you don't have classes or exams today – meaning you're taking the day off."

Felix instantly shook his head. "I can't—"

"Yes, you can. You're going to take today to relax and, tomorrow, we'll help you study, alright? But you're in serious need of a break, sweetheart."

Felix felt like crying all over again. "This isn't how it's supposed to work. I- I'm supposed to be taking care of you and Chan-hyung in exchange for money, and I haven't done anything at all for you so far and—"

"Felix, baby, if the contract is stressing you out so much—"

"No, it's not- it's not the contract, okay? I just- I just feel guilty all the time because I feel like you're doing everything for me and I- I genuinely love spending time with you both but then I feel like I'm just using you for your money and I feel terrible about it and- and..." He exhaled shakily, letting his head drop in his hands. "Crap, I'm so tired..."

Sighing, Jeongin pulled him into a hug, and Felix instinctively leaned into him. "Shh, it's alright, Lixie. Like I said, you need a break. We can figure something out later, alright? But right now, what matters is that you get some rest."

Felix didn't agree but, frankly, he no longer had the energy to fight Jeongin about it, and he knew how stubborn the younger could be. So, he mutely nodded in agreement and let himself relax in his arms. Surely one day of indulging couldn't hurt, right?

.

Felix spent the entire day with Jeongin and, though he hated feeling like a burden, he let the younger pamper him to his heart's content. They spent the entire morning cuddling on the couch while watching a random drama, and then they went grocery shopping because Felix wanted to bake some brownies, and they spent most of the afternoon baking said brownies. They had a lot of fun, and the recipe was a success, and Felix finally settled into a much better headspace.

By the time Chan returned home, Felix and Jeongin were cuddling on the couch again, and he was quick to join them. The freckled couldn't help but sigh contently as the oldest of their little trio gently ruffled his hair before sitting next to them.

"Thank you, Innie," he eventually said. "For today. I needed that."

"Of course, Lixie. Anytime. Now, do you feel good enough to talk about what you told me this morning?"

"I- I guess..."

He was most definitely embarrassed about his outburst, but it was too late to take it back. Thankfully, he hadn't blurted out the true source of all of his anxiety – meaning his growing feelings for the pair.

"Felix, you have it all wrong," bluntly said Jeongin, rubbing his back comfortingly. "You signed this contract because you needed someone to take care of you, not the other way around. And yeah, it's mostly about the financial aspect, but we actually like taking care of you."

"Felix, we talked a bit about this the other night," then added Chan, reaching out to grab his hand. "But Jeongin and I aren't exactly in an exclusive relationship. And we didn't want to say anything at first because the contract complicated things a bit, but... we actually like you. A lot. And we'd love nothing more than to get rid of the contract and get to take care of you as our boyfriend, rather than our sugar baby."

He couldn't be hearing this right, could he?

"We'd understand if it's not something you want, but... I think we've been reading the signs right," mused Jeongin, cradling his cheek so Felix would meet his eyes. "If you don't want this sort of relationship, however—"

"I- I do," Felix blurted out before he could stop himself. He turned red, lowering his eyes again. "I really- I really like the both of you. But I don't- I don't know about all this. I don't know if I'd really be comfortable with just- just leeching off of you as if the worth of my feelings relied solely on the money you give me. It's- it's a weird space and it... it scares me a bit."

"Then we put rules in place," suggested Chan, trying his best to hold in his eagerness. "We talk things out properly, set up some guidelines that'll stop us from going overboard with the money aspect. We won't be able to just stand aside and watch you struggle financially, that much is true, but we'll do everything we can to make you feel comfortable and safe in this relationship."

"We don't need to figure everything out right this moment," added Jeongin, smiling softly when Felix finally dared to meet his eyes on his own. "Right now, you have your finals to worry about, and Channie-hyung and I are still pretty busy with work. How about we focus on that for now, and just... let things play out a bit? Let things evolve naturally, see how it goes?"

"We could go on a week-long trip to Australia once Felix's semester is over," then suggested Chan. "Follow the flow until then, and then make point over everything once we're there. Have some fun, while we're at it too. How does that sound?"

Felix was still scared, that much was certain. He was still overwhelmed by the mere fact that Chan and Jeongin somehow liked him back, and the financial imbalance between them most definitely made him hesitate. However, he did know that his feelings for them were genuine, and he wanted to give this a shot.

"We don't need to rush into anything," murmured Jeongin, pressing a gently kiss to Felix's forehead. "We have all the time in the world, okay?"

He was right. They weren't going anywhere, and there was no harm in letting their relationship bloom at its own pace. Now that they were all honest with each other's feelings, Felix had a feeling that everything would fall into place. They'd need to have a serious talk at some point but, right now, there was no need to rush into it.

So, he smiled, and pressed two shy pecks to Jeongin's and Chan's cheeks.

"Let's do this."
