It was the next day and I finished getting ready coming out of my room. Last night I went back to Crenshaw to see Dillon and my mother. "Morning momma" I said before kissing her cheek. "Morning baby" she said preparing breakfast. I dapped coop up as she was sitting at the table.
"What time did you get in last night?" She asked. "Like twelve
Twelve-thirty, twelve forty-five" I started off "I had a date so I dropped her off at home" I said as Dillon came into the kitchen. "What's up?" I said dapping him up as he sat down next to me. "Oh where'd you and Layla go this time?" I heard my mother asked as I chuckled.
"Um it wasn't Layla" I answered as Dillon and my mother looked at me. "You two broke up?" She asked "yeah some stuff went down homecoming night and we're finished" I admitted. "Homecoming was like almost two weeks ago, you're going on a date that quick?" My mother asked setting the breakfast on the table before sitting down. I just chuckled "ma it's all good, it was just a date" I assured.
" who is it?" She asked with a sly smirk as I looked back at my food and smiled some. "Ahhhh she got my boy smiling" Coop teased as my mother and Dillon laughed causing me to chuckle. "If she's making you smile like that then I need to meet her" my mother said. "You already have" coop said looking the other way while drinking her orange juice.
"Really Coop?" I asked as my mother laughed.
"Come on tell me" she said as i just looked at Coop as she smiled. "No we just went on a date and I don't think it's going to become anything you know serious" I lied. "Well if she's making you smile like that it wasn't just a date" my mother said eating her food as I started eating mine.
"It's Y/N" Coop brought up as my mothers eyes just lit up as she looked at me. "Coop really?" I asked. "Y/N?" She asked. "Yes but don't get too excited" I started off "her cousin is my ex. Layla is now my ex and has a huge problem with Y/N so it may not go anywhere" I explained
"Well what do you two want?" I heard my mother ask "her actions gives off that she's warming up and wants to be with me but when we talk about it she brings Layla and Olivia up" I explained. "She likes you Spencer it's clear, but it sounds like she wants to take it slow and if you really want her then you'll respect that and keep pursuing her" my mother said as I faintly smiled.
"And how do I know if I'm wasting my time?" I questioned "isn't she the same girl who said to your face "I don't talk to everybody because everybody don't deserve my time"?" My mother asked with a smile. "Meanwhile she let you take her out on a date" she added then laughed. "Boy if you don't recognize that girl likes you" she said as I just chuckled.
"You should really bring her around more I really enjoy her. Her parents did a good job raising her" she said as I smiled "well you know thanksgiving she's going to be at the bakers so you guys can always come over" I said as my mother smiled. We were soon done with breakfast as Coop and I went into my room.
"So what's been going on with you and Y/N?" She asked laying across the bed as I just closed the door and walked back and forth. "Don't tell anyone this" I started off as coop looked at me. "What's up? What you do?" She asked. "That night patience dared us to skinny dip in the hot tub. I went over to her place after she left to take her sister home and we had sex" I admitted as Coop's mouth fell. "Seriously?!" She asked.
"That's not even the shocking part" I admitted "Coop you can't tell anybody because she trusted me with this and I don't want to mess this up" I started off walking back and forth.
"She let me take her virginity away" I started off as I watched Coop cover her mouth. "Wait she was still a virgin?" Coop asked in a whisper as I nodded. "Yo I hope you really into her because her feelings are going to be shot if you fucking around" Coop explained. "I really do like her but I don't know what to do, Layla is willing to work things out and get back together" I said as Coop just shook her head "don't do it Spence, think about your own feelings right now don't go trying to save everybody else's feelings including Layla's. You gonna mess yourself up" Coop warned.
"I just want everyone to be cool and comfortable to make it easier for Y/N" I admitted. "Layla still wants you. The break up is still fresh You need to just sit this one out. If you're going to fix things with Layla then by all means that's your decision but you need to think this one out carefully." Coop said .
"How was it though?" Coop asked as I chuckled "I enjoyed it on my end I just hope she enjoyed it, it being her first time" I said. "Maybe you should ask her" coop suggested as I playfully rolled my eyes. "Nah I'm serious men don't ask women how they feel about the sex just as long as they get off which is unfair in my opinion" coop expressed.
"When you going to see her again?" Coop asked "probably when I leave here I have to see her anyway" I brought up. "Then talk to her about it then" coop suggested as I nodded.
I stayed here til about 5 and headed to back to Beverly Hills. I pulled up on the street of Y/N's place and parked getting out.
I went up to her doorstep ringing the door bell.
"Hold on!" I heard her yell as you heard her dog bark. She finally got the door. "Hey" she said as I smiled "hey, you good to talk right now or?" I asked. "Yeah my mother and Storm just left to the movies to see venom" she started off as I chuckled "they were jealous you seen it first?" I asked playfully as she agreed letting me in.
I closed the door behind me as we went in the living room. And she sat on the couch as Dakota sat in front of Y/N and
Y/N started feeding her a puppuchino from Starbucks.
"I know this might look weird but she's greedy" Y/N said as we shared a laugh. "No you'd be surprise how many people around here do the same thing with their dogs" I said as she smiled and looked back at Dakota. "So what's up?" She asked.
"I wanted to talk about Halloween night and when we slept together" I said as she nodded.
"So what about it?" She asked "I enjoyed it a lot" I started off as she just looked at me. "I know it was your first time and I wanted to ask did you enjoy it and did I make you comfortable you know?" I asked as she just chuckled. "Um it wasn't as bad as everyone tried to make it seem." She started off "I was comfortable and I enjoyed it" she admitted with a smile.
"Not every guy sits down and have a conversation like this when they have sex with someone especially after they take someone's virginity so I'm glad you asked me" she admitted then looked back at Dakota as I smiled. "Just wanted to make sure you were good " I admitted as she nodded. "I'm good" she admitted. "I do believe you owe me a kiss too" I brought up as she laughed.
"I didn't forget" she assured placing the cup full of whipped cream on the coffee table as she grabbed me by chin and immediately gave me butterflies. I loved when she grabbed my chin and held my chin. She placed her lips on mine and kissed them slowly. She added her tongue as I immediately melted. She then slightly bit my bottom lip before pulling away. I just sat there speechless as she brought Dakota in her lap.
"You should probably go, you know we got school in the morning" she brought up. "Can I get a kiss to go home?" I asked as she laughed and kissed my cheek. "I'll see you at school tomorrow" she said as I just sighed and stood up from the couch making her let out a small laugh. She walked me to the door as I stepped out "I really can't get another one?" I asked. "Don't be greedy I'll see you tomorrow" she simply said before closing the door. "Damn!" I said to myself as I went back to coaches house.
