From the tunnel appeared Gladion on the back of his Silvally who stopped on the middle of the battlefield. Wich shocked Calem and everyone in the stadium.
Serena: Is Gladion of the Alolan Elite 4 gonna battle Calem??
Gary: You'll see...
Gladion was over at the battlefield and said "I'm taking it from here!"
Gladion released Zoroark and commanded it to create some illusions to make it more dramatic.
The sky started to get a bit darker and there were some lights focussed on Gladion.
May: I don't like this one bit! This is scaring the crap out of me!
Gladion: People from Lumiose City, Students of Sycamore High and Champions from all over the regions! I'm here to announce the opponent who is gonna battle Calem here.
"Not is he only a hero of this region, he's also the Champion of Alola! May I present you my champion!"
Gary muttered to himself as he said "hpmff show off..."
The lights started to focus on the tunnel to see who came out.
Everyone was focussed at the tunnel and some large shadows appeared. Because of Zoroarks illusions, the ground started to shake a bit and the shadows grew even larger.
Dawn: What thing is coming out of there!? She said in a frightened tone.
Gary: What you're seeing now is the Alolan Champion entering the stadium in the Alolan way.
Serena: So there will be a real champion battling Calem!? Serena asked confused but suprised.
Gary: Yes!
May: What do you mean with the Alolan way to enter a battle?
Misty: The Alolan way is more dramatic, more like a show!
Everyone looked suprised at Misty, except for Brock.
Gary: How do you know?
Brock: Misty and I went to Alola for a trip, we met up with Ash and his friends there at the pokemon school!
Gary: Oh! You visited during his time in Alola?
Brock: Yeah! And it was amazing there!
Then they focussed back on the shadows coming from the tunnel.
First they saw a Riolu walking out and behind that they saw a person with a Pikachu on his shoulder walking out.
As Ash stood on his place, the illusions started to fade away.
Ash: This was a bit over the top Gladion! Ash said chuckling while he scratched the back of his head.
Gladion: Well, you asked for the Alolan entrance... what do you expect champion?
Everyone in the stands except for Gary "WAIT ASH IS A CHAMPION!???"
Gary chuckled a bit on this.
Serena: You knew Gary?? She said while looking a bit angry at him.
Gary: Yeah, but he wanted to keep it secret so he could suprise you all and man he did! He said as he bursted out laughing.
Gladion left the battlefield and made his way over to the skybox so he could join the champions for this battle.
Before Gladion left he stopped a moment next to Ash while looking next to eachother and he said "If you lose to this loser, I'm taking your title... Got it?"
Ash laughed at this and said "Don't worry Gladion, i've got this."
Ash made his way towards his side of the battlefield as he looked at Calem.
Ash: Sorry for the dramatic entrance... he said as he chuckled a bit.
Calem: No worries. It's more fun taking down a champion anyway.
"We'll see" Ash said while he narrowed his eyes.
Then Ash did a 360 to look at the crowd in the stadium and his eyes locked when he met Serena's wich made her blush a bit. Calem noticed and didn't like it one bit.
Calem: What are you looking at? He asked frustrated
Ash: Huh? I'm looking at the person that gives me confidence to win this! He said with a smile.
"Hmpff, you're done for.." Calem replied as he enlarged his first pokeball.
Referee: This will be a full 6 on 6 battle between our school champion Calem Xavier and Alolan Champion Ash Ketchum! Furthermore it will be single battle and when either side's pokemon are unable to battle, the other trainer wins. Release your pokemon please!
Calem was first to throw his pokeball forward and shouted "Tyrantrum! Show this guy how we do it!"
A large T-rex dinosaur like pokemon with a white beard and collar appeared infront of Calem
"Tyrrrrr" it shouted.
Ash: Hmm... Time for some beginners luck! Tyranitar! I Choose you!
Tyranitar appeared infront of Ash and made a strong battle stands.
"RWOAAARRRRRR" It shouted wich made the crowd feel shivers through their spines of it's pure power.
Misty: When did Ash get a Tyranitar?
Gary: You should know this one.
The whole gang turned their attention to Gary.
Brock: What do you mean Gary?
Gary: This is the same Larvitar you traveled with in Jotho. Ash caught it before we left for Kalos. It saved Ash and Pikachu from Team Rocket and unfortunately it's parent passed away so it joined Ash.
Misty: That's so amazing.... As she looked in awe towards Tyranitar.
Referee: Battle begin!
"I'll take the first move" Ash shouted. "Tyranitar use Dark Pulse!"
Tyranitar: RWOAWRRR!!
Tyranitar charged purple/black energy in his mouth and fired it towards Tyrantrum.
Calem: Tyrantrum! Quick, counter it with Dragon Pulse!
Tyrantrum: Tyrrrr
Tyrantrum charged a purple energy in his mouth and released it just in time as it collided with the Dark Pulse from Tyranitar.
Ash: Tyranitar! Now use Dragon Tail on the ground!
Tyranitar had no clue what his trainer was thinking but thrusted Ash's idea as it slammed his green glowing, scaled tail into the ground creating a fissure kind for Tyrantrum who hadn't expected this.
The attack hit Tyrantrum hard and this gave Ash the opening he wanted.
Ash: Tyranitar! Now use Hyper Beam full power!
Tyranitar: RWOAAWRRRR!!
Tyranitar charged an orange beam in his mouth and launched it towards Tyrantrum who again had no time to respond. The attack hit hard and it created a big smoke cloud.
Ash: That did some big damage for sure!
In the stands
May: That Tyranitar has so much raw power..
Dawn: Yeah... Seeing Tyrantrum go down that easily.. I've never seen it lose for Calem...
Paul and Trip were watching Ash and Tyranitar with their jaws dropped.
As the smoke started to clear, Tyrantrum was somehow still standing and breathing very heavy.
Calem: Good job Tyrantrum. Now show them you're real power! Use Draco Meteor!!
Tyrantrum charged a massive orange ball in his mouth, aimed into the sky and fired it high up.
As it was high enough it exploded into meteors wich rained down on the battlefield.
Ash: Tyranitar! Quick, counter with Stone Edge!
Tyranitar started to surround himself with rings of stones and fired it towards the falling meteors.
He managed to fent off a couple meteors but it were to many and as soon as the first one hit it, Tyranitar lost it's momentum and a couple more hit Tyranitar.
Ash: Tyranitar are you ok!? Ash asked as he was worried.
Tyranitar made a strong battle pose while widening itself as it made another loud roar.
Ash: Good! Now finish it with Dragon Tail!
"RWOARRR" It shouted out loud as it's tail started to glow green and scales were on it. Then it started to run towards Tyrantrum.
Calem: Counter it with your own Tyrantrum!
Tyrantrum's tail started to glow in a similar way as Tyranitar's and both smashed into eachother at the same time, neither of them backing down.
After some back and forth pushing, Tyranitar got the edge on it and hit Tyrantrum hard wich made it stagger back.
Ash: Finish it now! Use Hyper Beam!
"RWWOAWRR" It shouted as the orange energy got released from his mouth, hitting Tyrantrum creating another smoke cloud.
After the smoke cleared, Tyrantrum was down on the ground with swirls in his eyes. This shocked both Calem and the whole crowd since Tyrantrum was pretty much unbeatable.
Calem growled at the sight as it recalled Tyrantrum.
Ash: Good job Tyranitar! Return for now! He said as he took out his pokeball and returned Tyranitar.
Ash looked over at Calem and said "Your Tyrantrum is really strong and battled really hard! You should be proud of it."
Calem: I don't need a lecture from you! Chesnaught come on out!!
A green/white turtle like pokemon appeared with spikes in it's shell and claws.
Chesnaught: Chesnaught!
Ash smiled a bit since he never battled a Chesnaught. Then he looked down towards Riolu and asked "You ready buddy?"
"Rio!!" It replied as he leaped up, doing a frontflip and landed on the battlefield.
Serena watched nervously at the battlefield, holding her ribbon tight since she knew Chesnaught was Calem's first ever partner and Riolu would have a difficult time against it.
Both Ash and Calem narrowed their eyes at their opponents pokemon before commanding a move.
Calem was first to break the silence as he commanded Chesnaught to use Pin Missle.
Ash: Riolu, use Aura sphere!
Chesnaught launched green missles towards Riolu who countered it with a blue ball of aura. A smoke cloud appeared and covered the whole field and no one could see what happened inside...

Chapter 21 guys! I'm not sure to make this one 2 or 3 parts yet but time will tell! Hopefully you like the style i'm going for so far and I'll see you in the next Chapter!
