We still have few more days till the 57th Expedition, I was helping Hange-nee with her experiments at Eren. I was also practicing my quirk by dipping my hands at a boiling water for 10 seconds, I got my hands out and made an explosion at the sky.
Hange: Ohoh !! Keep up guys !!
I look at Eren who was trying to pick up woods with his Titan abilities, While I keep dipping my hands at the boiling water and aim at the sky making an explosion. Hours of training and experiment have passed Hange-nee suddenly told us both to stop and we did, As Hange-nee told Eren to leave she look at me and ruffle my head for a second.
Hange: well done lil bro !! Although I have an idea for the next experiment after the expedition
Y/n: huh ? What is it big sis ?
Hange: I've been thinking you said that you can make explosion on the palm of your hands because of the secrete nitroglycerin-like from your sweat correct ?
Y/n: yeah, what's wrong with it ?
Hange: but your whole body is covered in sweat !! Meaning not just your palms but you can make an explosion in your other parts !!
Y/n: I don't know if that will work Hange-nee ....
Hange: we could try it though
Y/n: I guess we can
Hange: alright that will be your training after expedition since tomorrow is your day off correct ?
Y/n: oh yeah that is true ...
Hange: alright see you after your day off lil bro
I nod at her she start to leave but I stop her, she look confuse at first but smiled widely realizing what I am gonna do. I crouch down to offer her a piggy back ride, she jump on my back quickly and pointed at the front. I laugh at this and used my quirk to make us in the sky, I keep using my quirk to fly back at the HQ with Hange-nee while both of us enjoying the breeze.
Hange: *laughs* I miss this !!
Y/n: Yeah me too Hange-nee !!

It was finally dinner time as all the Cadets and other rank Soldiers are eating at the mess hall, I was eating at on my own table when Krista and Ymir sat in front of me.
Y/n: Oh hey !! Hows your day ?
Ymir: tiring
Krista: Ymir it's not that bad !!
Ymir: what are you talking about we been cleaning all day
Y/n: oh wow Levi-san must have gave you guys cleaning duty
Krista: yeah ... But it's not that bad !!
Y/n: oh wow it's really that bad huh ?
Krista: *looks down* Yeah it is ....

I tried to hold a laugh but suddenly someone pinch my side, this made me flinch and look who did it and it was Mikasa.
Y/n: what the hell Mika-chan ?

I gave her a confused look and realize how did she get here without me realizing, then I suddenly saw Eren and Armin joined my table with the others too.
Eren: can we sit here ?
Y/n: Yeah sure the more the marrier I guess ??
We all start eating as I realize Mikasa was close to me a bit and the others notice this, Eren just continue eating and sometimes talks to the others.
Armin: Y/n can I ask something ?
Y/n: hmm ? What is it ?
Armin: how did you get those abilities like where and how ?
Y/n: my quirk ?
Reiner: oh yeah I am curious about that
The others also nod at this and look at me expecting me to answer, I scratch the back of my head and took a bite on my bread ( A/n: hey that rhymes :D ). I can see all of them waiting for my answer especially two specific individual.
Y/n: I wish I could tell you all but .... I don't want some people to hear it
Connie: eh ? Why is that ?
Y/n: well they will be surprised after I told them and it is kept a secret by the higher ups
I saw some of them look in disappointment as I notice Reiner and Bertholdt look away. I know that once I told them where I came from, there's a chance that those two will tell those people on the other side of the walls.
Ymir: how does it work though ?
Y/n: Oh it's simple it's because of my sweat
Armin: sweat ?
Y/n: I have a secrete nitroglycerin-like type of sweat with a explosive combustion with the palm of my hands
Armin: I see but wouldn't that mean you can make an explosion with your whole body cause your covered in sweat ?
Y/n: well yeah but let's put it this way my body is the gas and my palms are the flint that make the spark to cause an explosion
Armin: Oh !! So that means the more you sweat the bigger the explosion is
Y/n: Exactly
I smiled at Armin as he reminds me of Izuku although ... Izuku is more ... The mumbling type when thinking, We both talk few things as the others listen and sometimes have they're own conversation with the others.
Sasha: wait ... Y/n !! You promise to cook food for me !!
Y/n: Oh yeah .... I kinda forgot about that
Krista: Eh ? Big bro you can cook ?
Y/n: yeah it's kinda one of my hobbies back home
Krista: I wanna try your cooking someday
Y/n: sure when I have time I will cook some food for you guys
Ymir: I'll look forward to that Brother-in-law
Krista: Ymir !!
Y/n: *laughs* I still didn't give you blessing Ymir but you will get there
Ymir: I am almost there !! Krista once this is all over after I get a blessing from your big bro here we can get married

We continue to eat and talk at the table till it was finally over, after that we all head to our assign room to rest since it was already late. Before I could reach my room I felt someone grab the sleeve of my jacket, I turn who it was and it was Mikasa this made me confused a bit.
Y/n: Mika-chan ? Do you need something ?
Mikasa: *hides some part of her face with her scarf* .........
Y/n: Mika-chan ?
Mikasa: can ... can I have some too ?
Y/n: huh ?
Mikasa: can I have some too ... When ... You cook food for Sasha
I blink for a second and just smiled and ruffle her hair, she gave me a surprised look and she fixed her hair.
Y/n: sure thing Mika-chan I'll give you some food when I got time to cook
Mikasa: thank you
She let go of my sleeve and walk away from the halls to go back to her room, I head inside my room and lock it then went to the window and look at the moon. I stared at it for a moment and think for a second of what should I do since tomorrow I have a day off.
Y/n: I should visit Ann-chan
I went to my closet and take off my uniform to change into my sleep clothes, it's just a tank top and shorts then I head to my bed to go to sleep.

It was finally morning others soldiers are already awake and having breakfast in the mess hall, Eren and his friends just woke up. They all went to the mess hall and notice that the soldiers are eating something different, they were confused since they mostly eat bread and soup every day.
Eren: what's going on ?
Sasha: *drooling* I smell a different type of food !!
Connie: oh yeah Sasha is right ... And it smells amazing
Eren and the others start to get some food for breakfast and look surprise who was there, Y/n was handing some tray of food to some soldiers.
Krista: eh ? Big bro ?
Y/n: hmm ? Oh hey guys good morning !!
Ymir: your on cafeteria duty ?
Y/n: kind of *shrug* I woke up early and made a huge breakfast to others
This made Sasha squeal and look excited while the others sweatdrop at this, Y/n laugh a bit and give them each food for them. They all look surprise that the breakfast is different, It was two slices of toasted bread and fried rice with scrambled eggs next to it was warm milk.
Y/n: enjoy guys !!
They all drooled at this especially Sasha who was excited to eat her own food, once they all took a seat at a table they all tasted the food. It maybe a simple food but it was the best breakfast they ever ate, Sasha was crying in happiness as she ate her breakfast.
Ymir: this is good
Reiner: I agree it's been awhile since we eat something else than soup and bread
Jean: I admit .... This maybe a simple cook food but it's better than mine
Sasha: I am in heaven !!
Connie: I wish we can eat this everyday !!
Eren: this is amazing
Armin: *nods in agreement* it's simple yet it's so good
Mikasa: he made his promise ...
They all kept eating their breakfast when Y/n went to them with another plate, Krista look amazed at what she saw it was apple slices but in a rabbit shape design. Y/n placed the plate in middle of their table as they look at the apple slices.

Y/n: glad you like it !! I slice some apples so you guys can eat it after breakfast
Ymir: brother in law ... As much it's an apple I think they won't eat it

Ymir points with her thumb and showed Krista not wanting to eat it, Mikasa is having a second thought of biting it same goes for Bertholdt and Armin. Y/n sweatdrop drop at this and look at them Jean took a bite on the apple slice, He suddenly felt a dark aura and turn seeing Krista and Mikasa glaring at him.
Krista: how dare you eat that precious rabbit
Mikasa: ....... You killed it ....
Jean: but it's a fruit
Krista: No it's not !!
Sasha: Jean killed a rabbit !
Connie: your a murderer !
Jean: Connie what the hell ?! Your joining her side
Ymir: idiots ...
Ymir took an apple slice and she was about to take a bite but Krista gave her puppy eyes, Ymir sweat at this and just put the apple slice back. Reiner and the others watch and just ate their breakfast beside the apple slice, Y/n scratch his head and watch Sasha and Connie calling Jean a murderer. While Krista and Mikasa are protecting the apple slices.
Y/n: I shouldn't made Unagi Apple Slices ..... If this is the result ....

Annie's POV
I was standing in line with Hitch and Marlowe as our captain was inspecting, he stop in front of me and gave me a letter. I still have a blank look and accept the letter, the letter is probably either from Armin or Y/n. I don't know why Armin send letters to me once a while, but I know that Y/n always send letters and I always receive it everyday.
Captain: All of you start your patrol beside you Cadet Leonhart I was told to give you a day off
Annie: Yes, sir.
Hitch: Lucky ...
The Captain dismissed us as I head back to my room and read the letter, I went to my bed and sat on it then read the letter. It was from Y/n I felt a smile appear on my face as I read it, I always question of how he can sent a letter everyday like how he get someone to send it quick. I kept reading the letter when I heard someone knock, I look at the door with a brow raised Hitch would never knock on the door since were roommates.
Annie: Who is it ?
???: Ann-chan it's me
My eyes widen and quickly got off my bed and open the door, there I see a familiar brown hair boy and red eyes it's Y/n. He was wearing the Survey Corps uniform, I raise a brow at him and questioning of how he got here.
Annie: Did you just gave me a letter and also come here at the same time ?
Y/n: Well I ... Uhhh I may or may not be the one who gave the letters to your Captain every day so he could give it to you ?
I was shock and surprised at the same time with my eyes widen, Did he really just gave letter to me everyday by him personally. I shook my head for a second and just pinch the bridge of my nose.
Annie: Why are you here then ?
Y/n: I have a day off today !! Let's spend time today since your free too
Annie: How do you know I have a day off today ?
Y/n: W-Well I uhh ...
Annie: You told the Captain to gave me a day off so we can hang out didn't you ?
Y/n: Yeah ...
I saw him looking away and scratch the back of his head and having a nervous smile, I sighed at this and pinch the bridge of my nose for a second. He look at me again and offer his hand with a smile, I just took his hand and just let him take me some places where we can spend time.

While both of them walking around the inner walls, Y/n is telling her stories when he was still at his world. The boy eas telling Annie about his relationship with his twin brother, Annie was amazed of how the two are complete opposite of each other and yet they still have agreements.
Annie: let me get this straight ... You and your twin called each other as " Shitty brother " ?
Y/n: yeah, it was weird but I got used to it since it was my brother's personality
Annie: I see ... And you have a childhood friend who was always bullied by your twin and you always defend him ?
Y/n: yeah a lot actually ... I am worried now I am not there I feel like Katsuki will attack Izu-chan while I am not there .....

The two kept walking around the place when Y/n smelled something familiar. He quickly took Annie there making her confused and shout at me to slow down, He did and they both finally arrive at the bakery he sniff the air again and he was right.
Annie: what are you doing ?
Y/n: Ann-chan !! I smelled something familiar
Annie: what ?
Y/n: I smelled donuts !!
Annie: donuts ?
Y/n: yeah !! And I am sure you will love it !!
He took Annie inside the bakery making the blonde girl smell something sweet, Y/n went to the cashier who smiled at the both of them.
Owner: Welcome to my bakery !! How may I help you ?
Y/n: hello !! Can I get a dozen of donuts ?
Owner: sure thing young man
The owner starts taking dozen donuts and place it on a paper bag, after that he gave him a paper bag full of donuts and he payed for it. Annie looked at the boy surprised that he bought a lot, Y/n told her that they could eat it outside and look around then found a tree spot that has a bench under it and sat there.
Y/n's POV
Y/n: it's been awhile since I have one of these
I open the paper bag and took one, I offered Annie some and she took one also and look at it. She looked at me for a second and look at the donut and took a bite on it, I can see something glimmer in her eyes when she took a bite.
Annie: this ... Is good
Y/n: I know right ? It's been awhile too
Annie: right, you have this kind of food in your world
Y/n: yep, I can make one of this too
Annie: *eyes widen* you can ?
Y/n: yeah !! I can make one for you if you like ?
Annie: ... Maybe you can ....
I notice that she smiled at this as she ate another donut and look satisfied, I keep staring at her still amazed how she looks amazing when she smiled. She looked at me again with a raise brow questioning why I am staring at her.
Annie: why are you looking at me like that ?
Y/n: I really admit you look pretty when you smile Ann-chan
After I said that she starts coughing on the donut and making me look worried at her, She just glared at me with a red face I sweated at this.
Y/n: Did I s-say something bad ?
Annie: Stop saying that you idiot
Y/n: B-But it's true ...
Annie: I'm not pretty when I smile
Y/n: Yes you do !!
Annie: No I am not
Y/n: Yes you are !! Accept it !!
Suddenly I felt a pain on my side as she elbowed me, I groan a bit and look at her confused of why she doesn't accept it.
Annie: just shut up and don't call me that
Y/n: but it's true Ann-chan !! Your pretty
Annie: I'm not a pretty .... I'm not a pretty girl
Y/n: Huh ? Who told you your not ?
Annie: .....
I sighed at this and scratch the back of my head for a second, we sat there quietly and looking from the far. I look at the paper bag and there still some donuts and offer it to her, she took another one and took a bite on the donut.

It was almost evening Y/n and Annie are still sitting on a bench, Annie was holding Y/n's hand as they stared from far. Y/n just hum a bit of a song as she listens to him and rested her head on his shoulder, Y/n just smiled at this and still humming a tune.
Y/n: Ann-chan
Annie: *looks at him* what ?
Y/n: I know you don't get compliments a lot but it's true ... Your a pretty girl and a talented person too ... You have a great personality too
Annie: what so good about being cold and pushing people away ?
Y/n: yet you didn't pushed me away
Annie: .......
Y/n: See ? I am right you do care about me heck even to others
Annie just looks away and fixed her bangs again, Y/n just smiled at her and squeeze her hand gently. Making the blonde girl look at him and looking at him with a brow raised.
Y/n: *smiles brightly* your a great person Annie and I like that about you
Annie: *turns red* s-stop that ...
Y/n: Eh ? But I am just being honest about it
Annie: that's the thing stop it !!
Y/n: Eh ? But why ?

Y/n eyes widen at this and suddenly his face turn red same with Annie after she realize what she said, The boy scratch his head and use his free hand to cover his face again. Annie was also doing the same using her free hand to cover her blushing face, they both look at each other with a blushing face and suddenly laugh at what happen. Time pass by and it was already night Y/n was walking Annie back to her room, both of them still holding hands as both of them arrive at Annie's room.
Annie: I guess were here
Y/n: yeah good night Ann-chan
Annie: yeah, good night to you too
Y/n was about to let go of her hand when she grab his face again and gave a kiss, this time it's not on the cheek it was on his lips. After she did that she let go of him and went inside her room, Y/n was standing there with a red face again and quickly got out of the place then head to the top of the walls. The boy used his quirk to get back to Survey Corps H.Q with a red face, It took awhile since he was distracted of what Annie did but he finally got back. Levi saw the boy and was about to scold him but he was sitting on the ground covering his face.
Levi: Oi brat what are you doing ?
Y/n: *unknown words languages*
Levi: Oi speak up
Y/n: *uncover his face* I said Ann-chan took my first kiss *blushing*
Levi: ..... Good for you brat now go to bed it's late
Y/n: But-
Levi: but before that you look like shit
Levi motioning his hand to signal the boy that he needs to clean himself before bed, Y/n looks at this uniform it was covered in dust. He bow to Levi saying good night before cleaning himself and heading back to his room, once he get there he notice someone at his door and it was Mikasa.
Y/n: Eh ? Mika-chan ? What are you doing in front of my room ?
Mikasa: you were not at lunch and dinner time earlier
Y/n: Oh ... I was visiting Annie earlier
Mikasa: .......... I see .....
Y/n: *sweat* umm beside that ... Do you need something ?
Mikasa shakes her head and left him there standing, Y/n look confused at this and just went to his room. Y/n layed on his bed and looking at the ceiling, as he stared at the ceiling and remember that the expedition is coming in few days.
Y/n: my first mission outside the walls .... I hope I can save people as much as I can.

I was doing my daily training when Hange-nee suddenly called me making me turn and look at her, She was catching her bread and I saw Moblit following her and holding some box.
Hange: Lil bro it's here !! The Uniform specifically made for you !!
Y/n: Eh ?
Moblit then hold out the box as I open it I realize it wasn't like the Survey Corps typical Uniform, Hange-nee told me to wear it and try it if it fits me or not. I went somewhere to change a bit and came back to Hange-nee and Moblit-san who looks amazed at my costume.

Hange: Looks good on you lil bro !!
Y/n: thanks big sis this really fit me well .... Although how did you get this design ...
Hange: well I kinda saw a drawing of this in your room and why not made it ?
I blink at this and remember I sketch some hero costume, when I was staying here before going the trainee camp. I look at my gloved hands and clench it, I smiled at Hange-nee and Moblit-san giving the two thumbs up.
Y/n: thanks this is the best !!
Hange: your welcome lil bro
I kept smiling and look up at the blue sky for a second and look back at my hands, I closed my eyes for a second to feel the breeze of the wind passing by then open again looking at the sky.
Y/n: I will do my best at the expedition.

= Finally the day of the 57th Expedition =
Soldier: It's Time !! Humanity will take another step forward !! Show me what you can do !!
The Survey Corps lifted they're blades up and shouted as some just lifted their fist, The gate finally opened Erwin finally gave the sign to move forward and they all advance out of the gate.
Erwin: We will now begin the 57th expedition beyond the walls !!
Y/n: here we go !!
