"My monstrous strength?"
"Yes."
"Hm... I don't really know the origin of it. I kind of just had this strength from the start."
"From the start?"
"Yeah. Ever since I could remember, I've had to restrain myself to prevent anything around me from breaking."
"You were just born like that?"
"Mhm. After a while, I realized that what I can see is not like what you guys can see."
"What do you mean?"
"Do you know what precognition is?"
Minju scratched her head, "Uh... being able to see the future?"
"Kind of. To start things off, I can see life in slow motion. It's not extremely slow, but I can see and perceive things faster than you guys can."
"How do you know?"
"Because it's something I can toggle. I can see the world through your eyes, and mine."
"What's it like?"
Y/n shrugged, "Everything's just slower."
"That sounds cool."
"It's not that much of a speed difference. But coupled with my precognition, I can react to things really easily. Speaking of reacting, my reaction speed is faster. In fact, my brain works faster than the normal one. Were you not confused when you saw me writing really fast that one time you were teaching me?"
"I just thought you could write that fast normally."
"I can, but it's not something that many people can do."
Minju nodded, "That's true."
"That's basically all there is to my 'monstrous strength."
"You're just really strong, and your brain works faster?"
"Yeah."
"That explains your knack for fighting. Do you have any actual martial arts training?"
"No."
Minju let out a small chortle, "Imagine if you did."
"No one would stand a chance against me."
Minju giggled looking in a specific direction.
"I think I know one person who could."
Y/n raised an eyebrow, "Who?"
"That's a secret."
"It is?"
"Mhm. You'll probably never know."
"That's a bummer."
"Yes it is."
Pulling the pair back from their tangent, Y/n placed his head on MInju's "What else do you want to know?"
"How long did you work as a vigilante?"
"I don't remember. I just remember doing it after Nari and I separated. It was a way for me to vent out my raw emotions."
"By beating people to a pulp?"
Y/n rolled his eyes, "I don't always do that."
"Both times I witnessed, you put the person in critical condition."
"Okay, but both of those times I lost control of myself trying to protect you."
"You still put them in critical condition."
"I took care of things after though."
"Imagine their hospital bill..."
"You would have had two by now if it weren't for me."
"I'd be dead."
"You can thank me later in life when you realize how nice zero scars and functioning organs are."
"Ya," Minju giggled, "It wouldn't be that bad."
"You almost got kidnapped, who knows what would have happened to you."
"I would have been able to stand up for myself."
Y/n scoffed, "Yeah right."
"Do you not believe in me?"
"Not one bit."
Minju crossed her hands, pouting, "I'll just have to show you one day."
Y/n raised an eyebrow, "How do you plan on doing that?"
"I'm not sure. I haven't thought about that part."
"You better not place yourself in danger just to try to prove your point."
Minju scoffed, "I won't, I'm not as stupid as you."
"Stupid?! What do you mean?"
"You're an absolute moron."
"How?!"
"You almost got yourself killed, no?"
"I-" Y/n sighed, "You're right..."
"Mhm. I know I am."
Y/n shook his head, "Whatever."
Y/n leaned his back against the tree, looking at the stars above them.
"I don't know what I'd be doing right now if you didn't enter my life."
Minju turned her gaze to the stars, "You don't?"
"Well, I know what I'd be doing, but I don't know how I'd feel."
"I don't think you'd care. Ignorance is bliss after all."
"That's true, but I'd much rather be here."
Minju scoffed, "I'd hope so."
"Nah. I changed my mind. I'd much rather live a life without you."
Minju smacked Y/n's arm causing him to chuckle.
"Ya! What do you mean you'd much rather live a life without me?!"
"Ignorance is bliss~"
Minju rolled her eyes, "Whatever you say."
"Do you want to go do something?"
"Don't we have school tomorrow?"
"Yeah, but that's not important here."
"You can only say that because you copy off of my notes. But if I don't take notes, then who will supply us?"
"You can probably ask one of the guys in the class. They'd love to help you out."
"Ya, that's not funny."
"What?! I'm right!"
"Still not funny."
"It wasn't a joke."
Minju crossed her arms, "I'm not asking a classmate for notes."
"Why? Are you too prideful to ask someone else for notes?"
"What? Why would you think that?"
"Because you're Ms. Number One. Your notes are the best, and there aren't any others around that are better."
"I'm not that prideful, it just feels wrong."
"That's what's wrong with it?!"
"Yeah!"
Y/n scrunched his nose, "You're weird. I'd be completely fine asking people for the notes."
"Why don't you ask them for notes then?"
"Because they're much more inclined to give you the notes."
"That's bs."
"What?!"
"We can do something after school tomorrow."
"I'm down for that."
"Ok."
"Hey, wait- You changed the subject."
"We're going to be there taking notes, so it doesn't matter."
"I assume that means that you want to head home right now?"
"We can stay here, I just don't want to stay out for too long."
Y/n nodded, "Okay."
The pair leaned against the tree, staring at the stars for what felt like forever before looking at each other in sync causing a smile to form on Y/n's face.
"So, about my question from Saturday."
"Do I need to answer that?"
"Yes."
"I think I need you to repeat the question so that we're on the same page."
Y/n rolled his eyes as he sighed, "Will you be my girlfriend?"
"Yes, I will."
The two locked eyes under the romantic atmosphere set by the soft moonlight. As the magnitude of the situation hit both parties, a synchronized smile spread across both faces.
"So this is it huh," Y/n breathed.
Minju timidly stared at the ground, "Yeah, we're official."
"I hope you're not expecting a kiss or anything."
"What?? No. It's too early for that."
"Good. I was worried since the atmosphere is perfect."
Minju chuckled, resting her head on Y/n's shoulder.
"We can be sensible about the progression of this relationship. There's no need to rush anything. Neither of us are going anywhere."
"Right."
"How about we head home, and pick this back up tomorrow?"
"Pick what back up?"
"Our lives."
Y/n chuckled, "That sounds good to me."
"Alright."
After arriving home, Y/n quietly walked into his room, standing in the middle of the pitch black room.

Unable to contain his excitement, Y/n punched the air with tight fists. Once done with his gaseous abuse, Y/n jumped onto his bed in excitement.
Tomorrow will be a good day.
The next day, Y/n slid out of bed feeling energized. As he brushed his teeth, Y/n stared at his reflection.
I'm glad I met Minju. My life has taken a turn for the better.
With great efficiency, Y/n finished his morning routine before speed walking to Minju's house.

"Are you ready?"
Minju nodded, "Yeah."
