My breathing became uneasy, as I walked closer to the BigHit building. I wonder if Yoongi has had anything said to him? Or would Yoongi have already mentioned me before any questions were asked?

So many thoughts we're drifting through my mind, and I couldn't focus on any one. There was too much to think about. I mean, I knew they'd find out sooner or later. But I really hoped for later. Much later. Unfortunately though, that's not exactly an option for me right now.

Thankfully though, as I neared closer, every step became easier than the last. I felt my phone vibrate in my bag, as I came up to the building, and before going in, I thought I may as well check it. After all, it may be Yoongi.

I quickly took my phone out, and glanced at the screen as it displayed the time and recent notifications. There was one message, so I clicked into it, putting in my passcode when it was required.

My heart sank slightly, noticing that it wasn't Yoongi who had texted. It was Soomin. She said she had something urgent to tell me. Unfortunately though, I didn't have another minute to spare, so I couldn't reply.

Putting my phone back into my bag, I walked through the doors, taking a deep breath in, as an attempt to calm myself. And lucky for me, it worked. I walked up to the front desk, seeing the same staff member I had the previous few times.

He gave me a warm smile, before leading me towards the area that Sejin, and I'm assuming the others too, were in. This time, he hadn't asked for my identification. I'm glad he didn't, because I'm not sure I even thought to bring it with me. My mind was buzzing, and I could only think of Yoongi at that moment.

Walking up the stairs, my heart began to race, but continuously ceased every few seconds, getting slower and slower, before racing again. I can only assume that's Yoongi's doing, in a means to calm me, so he too will be calm. He's trying.

I opened up the door, after taking a deep breath in. The second I looked in, it felt like I was back at school, giving a stupid presentation to the class. So many eyes were on me, so suddenly that I began to feel anxious. My eyes immediately darted around the room, trying to find Yoongi. And when my eyes finally landed on him, I felt myself begin to calm down ever so slightly.

"Ae-Young, thank you so much for getting here so fast." Sejin quickly announced, looking rather worried. "Yoongi hasn't said much, so I was hoping that if you asked him some questions, maybe we'd figure this out."

My head instantly snapped from Sejin to Yoongi, upon hearing this. Yoongi hadn't said anything. I don't know whether to feel relieved, or more stressed out at this.

Without another word, I slowly walked over to Yoongi. I built up all the courage I had, as I stood in front of him. I gave a small nod, as I walked to his right side. Slowly, I pulled up my own sleeve, while Yoongi did the same.

"W-what's going on?" I heard Sejin say. There were light, yet audible gasps heard from around the room. I glanced around, seeing various reactions to the situation. Most were simply surprised.

"I- it's me, I'm Yoongi's soulmate." I managed to say quickly, before Yoongi could say anything. I wasn't able to read the expression of Manager Sejin, so I instantly felt uneasy at the situation. Maybe I should have dealt with this in another way?

"I didn't want to say anything, because I wanted Joon to find his soulmate. If people were focused on me, even for a little bit, that would mean Joonie might have had to wait that much longer to find his other half." Yoongi stated, noticing my worried state. "I apologise for not saying anything sooner."

"No no, Yoongi....it's alright." Sejin managed to say. "I'm just a little surprised, and a tad bit overwhelmed, if I'm being honest."

"So you're not mad?" I spoke up, looking up to him, dreading a few possible answers to my query. Yoongi noticed my worry once again, and this time, reached for my hand. I was surprised by this at first, but the quick feeling of relief that followed was enough to put me at ease.

"Oh no, of course not." Manager Sejin smiled, making me too smile in relief. I glanced towards Yoongi, showing a wide smile at this. Yoongi too smiled back, a sort of gummy smile that could easily melt anyone's heart. "At least now, everyone can be introduced to each other."

"Ah, yes. Ae-Young, this is my soulmate, Soyeon." Namjoon spoke up, after Sejin had looked his way. Soyeon, Namjoon's soulmate, smiled brightly at me and waved lightly.

"Yeah, that's me." She said with a small giggle. "I was just found, would you say, about an hour ago."

"It's lovely to finally meet the mystery girl. I'm Ae-Young." I replied, smiling back. "From a job standpoint, can I just ask how you two were when finding each other?"

"Uhhh...." Soyeon looked Namjoon's way, not knowing how to answer the question. "It might sound weird, but I felt a wave of relief and I felt quite calm as well."

"Yeah, me too." Namjoon agreed with a nod. "Is that normal?"

"Oh yes, it's expected actually." I quickly replied, seeing both their faces lose some tension. "It's good to hear that you two had a smooth bonding experience."

"Oh yes, our Hoseok here also has a soulmate." Sejin quickly announced. "I'm not entirely sure if you saw her any of the previous times."

"Yes, I think I did see you before." I said, looking towards a girl, who was holding tightly onto Hoseok's hand. "I'm Ae-Young."

"Hello, I'm Ara." The girl said in a small voice. She seemed a little shy, or maybe just overwhelmed at everything going on.

"Wow, I hope I'm next for this whole soulmate bonding stuff. It looks so cool!" I heard a deep voice say. Everyone gave a light giggle at Taehyung's words. I'm pretty sure his name is Taehyung....

"Ah, Ae-Young hasn't been properly introduces to you all...." Yoongi stated, as if he read my mind.

"I'm sorry about that, I never even thought to introduce you to everyone when I hired you." Sejin began. "I was so caught up with everything, it didn't even cross my mind."

"That's fine, don't worry about it." I replied, showing a small smile.

"Well, I'll start off." Someone started, from across the room. "I'm SeokJin, but Jin is just fine. I carry all the charms."

"I'm Jimin, hello." Someone else said immediately after, who was standing beside Taehyung. It is Taehyung, right? Jimin looked towards him, as he began to speak, so I guess I would soon find out whether I've been using the right name or not.

"I'm Taehyung, but everyone just calls me Tae." The guy, who I had been calling Taehyung this whole time, said. I really am glad I got it right.

"I'm Jungkook, nice to meet you." Another guy said, with a small yet confident voice.

"And I'm Hoseok, in case you missed it." Hoseok smiled. I nodded my head lightly, not really knowing what to say in response. Thankfully, Yoongi seemed to understand without me having to indicate or signal any sort of discomfort.

"We were actually just getting food, before Soyeon came." Yoongi stated, squeezing my hand a little tighter, as if to tell me it was alright. He may have sensed my awkwardness. "Are we still doing that, even with the extra company?"

"Of course, if everyone just tells me what they want, I can order in." Sejin replied, looking around the room.

This made me uneasy, as I wasn't very good at making decisions. It was a little pressuring having to think about this so quickly, that I didn't even pay attention to what everyone else had said. So when it got around to me, I had no clue what to say.

"I'll just have whatever Yoongi is having." I replied, hearing a few muffled giggles.

"Very well then, everyone can just make themselves comfortable." Sejin said, before leaving the room.

The room grew louder, as everyone began to talk to each other. Everyone but Yoongi and I. I turned to Yoongi, having no thoughts as to what I would say. But nevertheless, I began to speak anyways.

"Hi." I said, instantly feeling so dumb for saying that. "I just figured....we didn't even say hello today, so why not now. Better late that never, they say."

"That's true." Yoongi replied with a low chuckle. "Hello then."

"I-

"Before we continue, I would like to ask you something." Yoongi interrupted. I nodded my head lightly, and Yoongi scratched the back of his head. But as he opened his mouth to say whatever he had planed to, I heard my name being called on by someone else.

"So Ae-Young, do you like your job?" Jin asked me. "It sounds like it can be really stressful."

"Uh, well...." I began, seeing many eyes on me. There was still light chit chatter, but mostly this seemed to be the big conversation topic currently. "Sometimes it really can be. But once there's co-operation on both sides, there aren't usually any problems."

"Were there ever any really difficult ones?" Soyeon asked. I had to stop for a moment and think. I haven't ever had people asking me about my job, so this was quite new to me. Most people just need help, and don't enquire about anything.

"Yeah, all the time." I replied with a sigh. "People just take things differently, and are unsure on how to handle the changes."

"I was actually wondering something." Jungkook asked, seemingly thinking to himself. "Well, there's so many people in the world. Surely not everyone finds their soulmate...."

The room became extremely quiet at this point. I would say you could hear a pin drop, but with everyone's focus on what I would say next, I doubt it would even have been noticed. I thought for a second, wondering how I would answer this. But there was no nice was of putting it, really.

"You're right." I finally said. "There are people that never find their soulmate. Even though it sounds surreal, fate sometimes doesn't allow it."

"But how does that even make sense?" Taehyung thought aloud, more to himself than anyone else. "If it's your soulmate, and fate plays a huge part in that bond, why would fate be like 'oh yeah, no, they're not getting together any time soon' ? Cause that just doesn't seem right."

"Sometimes your soulmate and you, can be fated to never meet.... It happens, quite a bit actually that you're soulmates because you were fated to never see each other." I said, looking around at the reactions to my statement. It made sense, how they all reacted, because this side of soulmate bonding isn't really talked about. Not many people even question it.

"Food is here!" We heard the familiar voice of Sejin say, as he came through the door. I think all of us felt a wave of relief, at the great timing he had, as non of us had a clue as to how to move on from that conversation point.

Suddenly I felt my phone vibrate, and looked down. My eyes widened, as I saw the caller ID. I had to stop and think for a minute or two, while staring at the screen, as I thought about whether or not to answer the phone here. But after giving myself only a second more, I thought I might as well.

"Yoongi...." I tapped Yoongi's shoulder, getting his attention. "Do you mind if I step out for a bit? I need to take this call."

"Yes, of course." He replied. I smiled lightly at him, before standing up quickly.

Making my way out the door, I looked back at my phone. What would my sister need to talk to me about? I closed the door behind me, once I had stepped out of the room.

"Hey, Jiyeon." I said in a worried voice. My sister and I are rather close, but given that our jobs have irregular hours, we both agreed to only call for emergencies. We usually just text from time to time, but Jiyeon hadn't answered my last texts since two or three weeks ago. "Is this serious or exciting news?"

"It's serious, very serious." Jiyeon stated, with an uneasy voice. Hearing her like this, broke my heart. As she was my older sister, she always wanted to stay strong for me, so I barely ever heard her like this. "It's about mum."

"What?" I quickly replied, beginning to panic. "Did it get worse, how could it get worse?"

"Well, we took a trip to this restaurant. It was new, cause the one before it was knocked down, and I was very careful when choosing a place." Jiyeon began to explain, as I heard light sobs. "I was being really careful...."

"What happened?" I asked calmly. I couldn't even try to imagine what happened, to have got Jiyeon this worked up. But I know for sure it's bad, worse than before.

"It turns out that the restaurant that had been there before it, the one that was torn down....it was where mum and dad first met." Jiyeon finally explained through her uncontrollable sobs. "It heavily triggered her, and she started crying, like she does when she gets reminded of him. And when we went home, she locked herself in her room."

"Oh gosh, that does sound horrible." I replied, as I thought about everything she told me. I couldn't believe that this was happening.

"Ae-Young, she spent hours in there crying, hours. Only when it stoped, and she didn't come out, was when I really started panicking." Jiyeon continued to explain. "I got another key, after she didn't answer me after my constant knocking on the door. She passed out from exhaustion."

"So you're at the hospital now?" I quickly asked, finding myself in a panicked state. My breathing became quickened and short, as I thought about the condition my mother could be in. "Can I go over now?"

"I can text you the co-ordinates." Jiyeon replied, as I began to panic more. I felt my phone vibrate, and looked at it seeing she had just texted me the address. My hands were shaking as I tried to tap on it. But before I could reply, I noticed the door beside me open.

Yoongi was on the other side, with clear worry shown on his face. Once he noticed my shaken up state, he closed over the door, and didn't hesitate to pull me into a hug. As much as I didn't want to hug him, given the circumstances, it made me feel so much better. I felt at ease, as I lay on his chest, while he hugged me tightly. I felt somewhat guilty, feeling this alright, when my mother was in the hospital. But by doing this, maybe it could prevent me needing any other help to calm down, before something bad happened to me too.

"Hello, Ae-Young?" My sister said into the mic, which startled me a bit. I stayed where I was, but brought the phone up to my ear, humming in response. I closed my eyes, while I waited for an answer from my sister. "Please come quickly."

"Okay, I'll be there as soon as I can." I replied in a quieter voice, before hanging up the phone. I let my arm drop to my side, after the call had ended. I felt a small tear roll down my cheek, and I quickly wiped it away, not wanting Yoongi to see.

"Are you alright?" He asked in a small, almost inaudible voice. I nodded my head against his chest, still not moving away from him. I need a little more time, a little more energy, before I could even think of going to mum. "Just take deep breaths."

I did as I was told, and focused on breathing deeply, in a means to calm myself. After taking a few deep breaths, I slowly took a step back.

"Thank you." I quietly said, as I sniffed a little. "If you didn't get here-

"It's alright." Yoongi quickly replied. "You have to be going somewhere. Do you need me to take you?"

"That's right." I quickly remembered. "Thank you, but I'll be fine on my own from here."

"Okay, just let me know if you need me. I'll always be here." He replied, as he gave a small smile. I appreciated what he was trying to say, but for some reason, I felt a stab of pain as he said those last words. But I didn't think too much of it, as I gave him a nod, and turned on my heel to leave.

"Wait, you wanted to tell me something....before dinner." I suddenly remembered, and I quickly turned back around.

"Another time, maybe." He replied, as if he didn't want to keep me waiting. I nodded my head once more, before hurrying away.

I basically ran down the stairs, and out of the building. Once out, I called a taxi, and waited anxiously by the side of the building for it to arrive. As I waited, I kept thinking about my mother. I hope she'd be okay.

But then, for a moment my thoughts wandered back to Yoongi. He's was so kind, so gentle. He didn't have to help me, but he did. He could have asked me a million times what was wrong, and looked for an answer to everything, but he didn't. He just stayed by my side, and made sure I was okay. And for that, I'm really thankful.

Before I could think much more, a taxi came into view, clearing all thoughts but one. What state was my mother in now?

Wow, alright....that was a pretty busy chapter. I'm really sorry that I haven't updated in so long, so to make up for it, I made sure to write an extra long chapter.

I really hope you enjoyed it, because it was honestly kinda fun to write. I know it's an emotional scene, so it really shouldn't have been fun....but it kinda was-

I'm sorta curious, do you have any theories for this? I'd really like to hear some~!
