••••••

Lexi sat alone in the choir room as she worked on some songwriting. She hummed, as she played the piano keys, trying to sound out melodies. However, her moment was interrupted by Finn rushing into the room.

"I'm such an idiot." He sighed, running a hand through his hair.

"Hello to you too." Lexi frowned, as Finn turned to look at her.

"Sorry, I didn't realize you were in here, Lex." He apologized, as he sat down on top of the piano.

"Yeah, I've been here for the past hour." Lexi answered. "My presence can go unnoticed for hours on end...that only happens occasionally."

"I always notice you though..." Finn protested.

"Whatever, it doesn't matter." She shook her head. "What's up? Why were you calling yourself an idiot a few moments ago?"

"This is going to get you riled up at me." He said, as she raised her eyebrow.

"It depends what the situation is, and how you partook in it, Finn." She said, folding her arms.

"I kissed Miss Pillsbury." Finn blurted out, only to receive a slap against his head. "Ow! What the hell was that for?"

"For kissing her!" Lexi exclaimed, before she jumped into an angry rant in Spanish.

"Hablas en serio? No puedo creer que hicieras eso! ¿En qué estabas pensando?" Lexi yelled in Spanish, leaving Finn lost for words, and rubbing his head.

"I'm so confused." Finn shook his head.

"Shut up!" Lexi exclaimed, annoyed, before she turned around. "I can't even look at you."

"Lexi."

"I need a minute, just lowering my respect for you by one hundred percent." She retorted sarcastically, before she finally turned back around, to look up at him.

"Did she kiss you back?" Lexi asked, crossing her arms.

"No, she was totally freaked out by it. I don't even know how it happened." Finn admitted, as Lexi just shook her head in disbelief. "We've been spending all this time together, and then...She was there, and I just felt the need to....and I kissed her, and I..."

"Is Mr. Schue aware of this?" Lexi interrupted.

"I don't...I don't think so. I don't think she'd tell him, but... maybe I should." Finn rambled.

"No." Lexi said. "Don't, just don't, Finn. It would ruin him." She said, shaking her head again. "Remember how you felt about Puck when you found out about him and Quinn? You kicked a garbage can for crying out loud."

"I'm the worst person in the world!" Finn groaned, shoving his face into his hands.

"No, you're not. That's not true. However, the action you executed, that wasn't the most plausible choice, but I can comprehend where you're coming from. You're confused, and you've been recovering from a break up, so you've been feeling alone....We both know that you don't really like her in that way, but you did the thing that seemed like the best way to calm her down, even though it wasn't." Lexi ranted.

"Yeah..."

"Look, you always wanted to be an actor, right?" She asked, as Finn nodded. "So here's your chance to play the role of best supportive man." She finished.

Finn frowned as Lexi walked over to the chairs in the back of the choir room, where the New Directions usually sat.

"What are you doing?"

"Releasing all my anger. I have rage too." Lexi shrugged, before she kicked a chair." Ah!" She yelled, as she began to kick the chairs over. She stopped for a brief moment, turning to Finn.

"Come on, man! Kick the chairs." She called, as Finn joined her, both of them kicking the chairs in the choir room together.

Anyone who didn't know Finn, would ask. "What the hell is this guy doing?"
--------
"Glee Club." Mr. Schue smiled as he stood in front of the New Directions, back from his sabbatical.

"Mr. Shue, how was DC?" Tina asked.

"DC was great, but now I'm back to stay." Their teacher answered. "And so for my first order of business, I want to give a huge shoutout of the guy who made sure I had something to come back to, Mr. Finn Hudson!"

Everyone clapped and cheered, as Lexi nudged Finn, who snapped out of his trance, sending Mr. Schue a smile.

"Now, for this week's assignment..." Mr. Schue began.

"I hope it's Britney again!" Brittany interrupted.

Mr. Schue shook his head, while he wrote on the whiteboard. "Miss Pillsbury and I are getting married! Which makes me the happiest, luckiest man alive. Now, Emma has been handling the wedding prep, so to help out, I thought I'd take charge of the entertainment for the reception. And though this goes against tradition, it would mean the world to me and Emma if instead of giving your best man speech, Finn, you sing for us, what do you say?"

"Yeah, uh-yeah-of course!" Finn answered, after Lexi kicked his chair.

"Seriously dude, keep on the act." She whispered, as he nodded with a sigh.

"Perfect! For anyone else who isn't out with Asian Bird Flu..."

"It wasn't me." Tina shook her head.

"It's Valentine's Day, which means we need some great, romantic love songs at the reception."

"Wait. You want us to be your wedding singers?" Tina asked. "That's so..."

Lexi covered Tina's  mouth, causing Sam to chuckle.

"What she means to say, is that we'd all be honored to perform at your wedding, Mr. Schue." Lexi clarified, as everyone nodded in agreement.

"Great."
--------
Lexi stood in her bedroom, as she finished getting ready for the wedding. Hearing a knock at her bedroom  door, she walked over to the door, and opened it, revealing Sam.

"Hey, Happy Valentine's Day." Lexi smiled.

"Happy Valentine's Day to you too." Sam smiled in return, kissing her cheek, causing her to blush.

"I'm about ready to go." She said, as he nodded.

"I actually have something for you. Something I believe would accompany your dress perfectly." Sam said, as he handed her a wrapped box. She took the box, and slowly unwrapped it, before opening the lid to find a gorgeous necklace.

"Sam, it's beautiful." Lexi gasped, as she ran her fingers along it.

"Just like you." Sam complimented, as she blushed.

"I love it, thank you." She said, pressing a quick kiss to his lips.

"Do you want me to put it on you?" He asked, as she nodded, turning away from him, and moving her hair out of the way, while he clasped the necklace around her neck.

"Since we're on the whole gift giving topic." She smiled, as she wandered over to her drawer, and pulled out a bag. "I have something for you as well." She said, handing him the gift.

Sam smiled, as he pulled out a framed photo of him and Lexi from a few months before. "I love this, Lex. Thank you so much." He added, as she smiled again.

"I love you, so much. You know that, right?" He asked, as he walked over to her, and gently pulled her into his arms.

"I do, and I love you too, so much." Lexi smirked slightly, as he leaned down, capturing her lips in his. They stood there for a few moments, diving into each other, before she pulled away.

"Sam..." She said, as he pressed some kisses down her neck. "We need to go." She chuckled when he groaned quietly, before pulling away.

"Shall we?" He asked, offering her his arm.

"We shall!" She laughed, as she wrapped her hands around his arm.
--------
"Hey girls." Lexi greeted, once she and Sam had settled into the row in front of them.

"Hey." Quinn and Santana chorused in unison, before they turned back to their own discussion. Lexi couldn't help but chuckle, as she overheard their conversation.

"It is a carrot top convention." Santana exclaimed, as she looked at all of the ginger haired people from Miss Pillsbury's family sitting in the rows at the church. "I am so over this, and it hasn't even started yet." She mumbled, as Quinn nodded. "I'm clearly the hottest btich in this lousy place, but I'm all alone, stuck here sitting with you."

"Do you want me to slap you again?" Quinn asked, rolling her eyes.

"I hate weddings, and I hate Valentine's Day. They were invented by breeders to sell cheap chocolate and false hope."

"You're just bitter." Quinn pointed out. "Do you know what I hate, though? Men. Every single one of them is a pig, except maybe Mr. Schue and Al Roker. And you know what? You were right. I do let men define me, but not anymore. Like Gloria Steinem said, A woman without a man is like a fish without a bicycle."

"Al Roker is disgusting by the way." Santana commented, as Quinn scoffed.

"Whatever."
---------
It was finally time for Miss Pillsbury to walk down the aisle. As the doors opened, everyone turned to see her. However, Lexi frowned when she didn't see Emma, but Sue, dressed in the exact same replica of Emma's wedding dress.

"What the hell?" Lexi muttered.

"Why is Sue here?" Sam frowned, as Lexi shrugged.

"I couldn't tell you." She sighed, still in shock, just like everyone else. "But she just crashed the wedding, I don't believe she was invited too." She added.

"Oh, yeah. Nice to see you all." Sue smiled, as she walked down the aisle. "Hey, what do you think? Nice, huh? Thank you for coming." She said to a few people, before noticing all the New Directions, present and former, sitting near the front.

"Oh, look, it's all the Glee kids." She exclaimed, clearly enjoying crashing the wedding.

"Sue. What are you doing?" Mr. Schue asked, confused.

"I'm trying to stop this from becoming an utter fiasco." She replied.

"Emma's left the building."
-------

Despite Emma leaving the building, and Sue crashing the wedding, the show must go on, right? The reception was currently being held, and Lexi would admit, it wasn't all that bad. She had danced with Kurt, Mike, Blaine, Sam and Finn, and couldn't help but feel happy and content.

"I love this babe, but my feet are killing me." Lexi said to Sam, as they walked off to the side.

"I thought you need to be diagnosed with a disease in order for something to kill you." Brittany commented, causing Lexi to chuckle.

"Not exactly, Britt. It can be a figure of speech." Lexi smiled before, she let Sam pull her into his arms.

They hadn't been dancing for a while, when Sue walked onto the stage, dragging the microphone with her. Once she got onstage, she looked out at the wedding guests.

"I can't." Mike chuckled, failing to hide his laughter.

"I know right?" Lexi asked, as her and Sam laughed along with the older boy. The three of them chose to ignore the glare that Sue was sending their way.

"And in other nonsensical traditions, Emma left behind her bouquet as she fled from the scene, leaving it to someone else to toss those soon-to-be-dead flowers under the mythical belief that whoever catches them will magically become the next person to get married, or more likely, sprint from the altar. So gather round ladies!" Sue said, as the girls began to gather around the stage. "And allow me to be the one to enable your false dreams and expectations." She added, emotionless, as she turned her back to the girls, and threw the bouquet.

While Lexi attempted to reach for the bouquet, Sam got in her way, and being rather short, even with heels on, it was frustrating for her. "Sam, what are you doing?" She whispered harshly. "You know this flower toss is meant for the girls right?"

"What?" Sam asked. "I'm a great catch, you know that." He winked teasingly, causing her to roll her eyes.

"Fine, if it's going to be that way..." She muttered, jumping on his back.

However, the bouquet didn't land in her hands, but instead, Rachel caught it. It was quite good luck for Finn, who smirked when she caught it, and admired the bouquet.

Lexi saw the older boy walk up the stairs, after Rachel had gone up a few minutes before.
---------
Lexi let out a content sigh, as the slow music played. She found herself in Sam's arms, as they danced with the rest of the couples who were on the floor.

"You know, it's just a theory that if you're fortunate enough to catch the bouquet, you'll be next in line to tie the knot." Lexi spoke up, as Sam looked down at her.

"I mean, when we get married one day, you won't run away will you?" Sam asked. Lexi could hear concern lacing his voice.

"Of course not." Lexi assured him. "I wouldn't even imagine that happening." She added, leaning her head against his chest, while allowing her arms to stay draped around his neck, as he kept his arms wrapped around her. "You know, I can't wait to marry you one day, right?"

"I can't wait to marry you too, whenever that day comes, and if I'm lucky enough." Sam smiled down at her. "We're soulmates, and I know that even you can't deny that."

"We really are, huh?" Lexi asked, even though she agreed with him.

"Lexi Evans." Sam sighed, as he visualized the day she'd take his last name. He could see their wedding in the future, and them raising their kids, and having a dog run around in the front yard.

"It's quite fitting." Lexi smiled, as Sam pressed a kiss to her head.

The couple smiled at each other, before turning to see Finn and Rachel preparing to sing their duet on stage together.

"You know, I got us a room tonight." Lexi smirked, pulling her white key card out.

"Well, what are we waiting for?" Sam smirked, as he grabbed her hand in his. "Let's go." He added, as the two of them made their way out of the building.

{We've Got Tonight - Sung by Finn Hudson and Rachel Berry, with Kurt Hummel, Blaine Anderson, Quinn Fabray, Santana Lopez, Artie Abrams, Betty Pillsbury, Jake Puckerman, Marley Rose, Lexi Torres and Sam Evans}
••••••
Lexi and Sam couldn't resist staying away from each other for too long. They were quite enamoured with one another.

Sam was quick to shut the door of the hotel room, before turning his attention back to her.

Lexi wrapped her arms around his neck, as he leaned down capturing her lips in his. They stood there, diving into each other.

She squealed when he pushed her against the wall, and began to press kisses down her neck. "You know you looked gorgeous tonight, but your dress...It's been killing me all night...." He muttered against her skin.

Lexi smirked as he pulled away. "Well the feelings mutual." She said in a sensual tone, as she began unbuttoning his shirt.

He pulled her closer to him again, pressing his lips to hers once more, as he began to walk forward, while she walked backward. Sam lifted her up, as they sprawled onto the bed, him towering over her as they stripped each other of their clothing, so only fabric separated them. You could say that they let things escalate and grow heated.
•••••
Lexi woke up the next morning, in Sam's arms. She blinked at the sun coming into the room, before she turned her head to look at him. A tired expression visible on her face.

"Morning." Sam smiled softly, as he traced his fingers on her arm. He had already been awake for a few minutes, but chose to let her sleep, and admire her while doing so. He always wondered how he got so lucky.

"Morning." Lexi replied, as she snuggled closer to him for warmth, allowing Sam to wrap his arms around her.

"Are you okay?" He asked, feeling the need to check on her.

"More than okay." She answered, as she pulled the blanket up a little more, to cover herself. "No regrets. None at all."

"Good." Sam smiled, pressing a kiss to her head. "I love you."

"I love you too." She smiled back at him, before she closed her eyes, choosing to enjoy the comfortable silence, while laying in Sam's embrace.
