Acnologia: you're the woman who healed me!
Anna: Yes it's me, and I have a name did you forget it?!
Acnologia scuffs hearing Anna scold him from not using her name.
Acnologia: Anna.
Anna: So you do remember!
She smiles at him but not for too long. She looks up at Acnologia with a serious look. He does the same.
Acnologia: what?
Anna: what happened to you? Why didn't you tell me?
Acnologia: I thought I made it clear once before.
Anna: Made it clear? All you did was put us in a barrier that slows down time for your own benefit!
Acnologia: I told you I wasn't sure if you could be trusted.
Anna: Trusted?! Acnologia, I picked herbs, made medicine, sold them and lived my life as a regular person. How could I possibly have done anything to you?!
Acnologia: Trusting others left people dead back in my time.
Anna: But I'm not like those people, and you should know that!
Acnologia: If you're expecting an apology from me, you're not getting one.
Anna: I didn't come here for an apology.
Acnologia just looks at Anna. She walks past him seeing how the city is in shambles. He turns around and joins her.
Anna: What happened to you? What led you down this path?
Acnologia: You expect me to answer your questions when you won't even let me ask one.
Anna: Then ask away.
Acnologia: how did you find out my name?
Anna: Honestly..I've been trying to search for you all this time. I'm sure you know what happened to Igneel and Grandine.
Acnologia looks down as he remembers the tragedy that led to those two dying.
Anna: Look at me.
He turns his head slightly looking at her.
Anna: What led you to becoming...this?
Acnologia looks forward at the city.
Acnologia: My family dying by the very same creatures I trusted.
Anna takes a hold of Acnologia's hand.
Anna: But now look at you..you became the very thing you seek to destroy.
Acnologia: I had no other choice.
Anna: We all have a choice.
Acnologia: Not for me. I wanted to take vengeance for my family perishing and the only way I knew how to was by becoming one. It wasn't a very pleasurable process but it got me closer to my goal.
Anna: To kill all of your kin?
Acnologia abruptly turns to face Anna, angered by what she just said.
Acnologia: I am not like them!
Anna: Then what are you?! Human? Dragon? Monster?
Acnologia again looks away. He crouches down near the edge of the building.
Acnologia: I don't know...
She kneels close to him putting her arm on his shoulder.
Anna: If you don't know then allow me to help you. You can stop this crazy hunt. I'm sure you'll be forgiven.
Acnologia: I won't. I won't be forgiven. Even if I wanted too I killed too many dragons and humans.
He stares at his hands.
Acnologia: I told those two that there hands had the trail of years worth of blood. But I'm no different.
Once again Anna reaches for his hand. Her smaller hand very visible to Acnologia.
Anna: Everyone has things they regretted. You're no different. Even I have things I regret.
Acnologia: Like not being there to save Igneel and Grandine?
Anna: Yeah. But with every regret there's always a chance of redemption. You're still not too late.
Acnologia closes his eyes as he remembers the soft touch of a woman. The wonderful fragrance of one, and the soft and gentle voice. He opens his eyes again letting go of her hand and stands up.
Acnologia: I...You were one of the few people who I trusted. I do apologize for being selfish and keeping you locked in with me. You are right. I ended up becoming the thing I swore to kill and there's no turning back. My hands are stained with blood of others like Igneel.
He has a small flash back of him killing Atlas and feeling bad about it.
Acnologia: I killed a father. Now his wife is left as a widow, and her daughter will grow up with no one to guide her, and teach her about the outside world. Because of those sins, I cannot be forgiven...
Anna: But...
Acnologia: This country changed due to me. Millions of more lives have been lost because someone was trying to save the person they loved. Because of that I'm not aloud to be forgiven. I know you wish things could've been different and so do I. Unfortunately my destiny has been carved and I have no other choice but to follow it. If Igneel's child defeats me in battle, and decides to kill me, I will gladly accept my fate. But if he fails. I will continue my hunt for the remaining dragons in this world and kill them all.
He stands up and begins to go towards the opposite side of the building getting ready to leave.
Anna: Acnologia!
He stops hearing his old friends voice but doesn't turn around.
Anna: He won't fail.
He smiles. He's glad he wasn't facing Anna because she would had probably teased him for it.
Acnologia: what makes you so sure he won't fail?
Anna: I know he won't.
Acnologia: huma-Anna Heartfilia.
Anna: What is it?
Acnologia: You scolded me for not leaving the past behind me. But I have something I want to tell you.
Anna: What?
Acnologia: Take your own advice. Leave your past behind you. Every regret has a chance of redemption. You left your comfortable home, to come talk to me. Well. Kyoto is not far from here. Go reunite yourself with your family.
Her eyes widen after hearing Acnologia say this. After a few seconds she goes back to normal, and Acnologia continued his walk.
Anna: Will I see you again?
Acnologia: Probably not..
Anna: I see...
Acnologia: Like I said. Go reunite with your family, and stop worrying about me.
He turns his head a little seeing her looking down.
Acnologia: Don't worry. I'm sure we'll see each other soon, Dragon Guardian.
She lifts her head hearing that name. But when she does Acnologia had already vanished. Anna turns around one last time seeing the city before she also uses her magic to leave. Unknowingly to Anna, she had been doing her job as guardian all this time to Natsu, along with her ancestor.
Acnologia: Idiot woman. You think I wouldn't know. Celestial mages and dragons have always had a bond. It wasn't just you guardian Igneel's child or your ancestor guardian him now. But I also had a guardian.
Anna ended up teleporting herself to Tokyo. She looked around the area she was in and she saw nothing but torn down buildings and the ever so annoying military. She walked for a few minutes until she stumbled upon the Tokyo Tower. She looked up at it seeing how massive it was, and noticed the tower looked brand new. She smiled as she closed her eyes and focused. When she reopens her eyes she appears inside Natsu's room. She looks around having little visibility, only the light of the moon is giving her some sort of light. She sees Natsu sleeping, so she decides to approach him as quietly as she could. Once she's close enough she kneels down next to his bed.
Anna: It's nice to finally meet you, your highness. I'm Anna Heartiflia, you may know my relative Lucy Heartfilia. I served under your mother and father as a guardian. Anyways my lord, I don't have much time, you'll probably pick up on my scent. Once you have regained your confidence and your back to full strength. Please be careful when facing off against Acnologia. He isn't someone to take lightly. You have friends that can help you out, you don't have to fight this on your own.
She spots his scarf next to his night stand. She passes her hands by it softly as she remembers when she helped Grandine knit the scarf. She smiles at this memory then looks back at Natsu. She passes her hand by his hair, fixing it so it won't bother him while he sleeps.
Anna: We will meet soon my lord.
With that she leaves the room. Shortly after Karameel had woken up to use the bathroom and decided to check in on Natsu.
In the small town near the Sakurajima Mountains Grayifa was telling the other girls to take care of themselves as Rossewiesse, Akeno, Venelana, Tiamat and her self were going to the underworld to pay Rias a small visit. When they arrive, Rias and Kiba where waiting for them as they both greeted the women. They walked along the long hall way into the Gremory mansion where Sirzechs, along with Zeoticus waited for them to arrive.
Venelana enters the room to a warm hug from her son. She hugs him back as both of them are happy to see one another. The others bow to each other in show of respect and peace between them as there are more pressing matters then Rias hunting for Natsu's clan and him.
Rias: Glad we all can be in a room together without any violence.
Venelana: It's been a while since I've seen my son and daughter along with my ex husband.
Zeoticus just rubs the back of his head.
Grayfia: Hope you don't mind I invited Azazel, the Sitri's and Phenex's as well.
Rias: I don't mind. As a matter of fact I was hoping you did. This matter is bigger then any of us.
Just as she finishes her sentence the maids and butlers open the doors to the dinning table where the groups are having there meeting as the guests arrive and take a seat. To much of Kiba's and Issei's displeasure to see fallen angels attend the meeting they have no choice but to suck it up and deal with it. Azazel quickly noticed this.
Azazel: my, my I thought hostilities between our factions wouldn't be a problem.
Azazel's commanders Raynare, Kalawarner, Dohnaseek, and Mittelt all look towards Issei and Kiba.
Rias: Stop it you two!
Tiamat: what's the deal between them?
Rossewiesse leans in closer to Tiamat's ear and lets her know what happened.
Rossewiesse: recently they fought, I don't the reason why but like always Issei let his perverted mind get the best of him in battle.
Tiamat: I see. That damn pervert will never learn.
Sirzechs: Lord Sitri, Lady Sitri, Lord Phenex, and Lady Phenex. It's so nice to see you all again after so long.
Lady Sitri: Like wise, Sirzechs.
Lady Phenex: I believe the last time we were all together.
She stops herself from continuing to talk, but continues anyways.
Lady Phenex: It ended in a war.
Sirzechs: yes unfortunately
Lord Phenex: I hope there's no hard feelings between us. You must understand our position.
Sirzechs: I completely understand. Trust me.
He lifts his arm up as everyone is reminded of the rewards of going to war.
Lord Sitri: I'm glad being down one arm isn't keeping you down Sirzechs.
He chuckles hearing this.
Sirzechs: I've learned my lesson, I'm just glad to be alive.
Venelana: Unlike you dear, your father decided it was best to run and hide with his tail tucked between his legs and leave you and your sister alone. What a man he is.
The Sitri's and Phenex's try not to laugh at the burn they just heard. Tiamat on the other hand didn't care as she couldn't hold it in and bursted out laughing. Even Rossewiesse had a remark to make.
Tiamat: that's cold!
Rossewiesse: Damn..
Venelana: before we start I will also like to invite the Youkai Queen her self Lady Yasaka.
A live feed of Yasaka in her home in Kyoto appears as everyone looks at the gorgeous blonde. Issei being the typical guy drools over her.
Azazel: Evening there her highness.
Yasaka: Greeting Azazel, hello everyone. My apologies for not being there in person. As you all know the surface world isn't in a good shape so my duties keep me here for the time being.
Grayfia: We understand Lady Yasaka, we're glad to have you here even if it's via video.
She smiles at Grayfia but then heard Issei and
Kiba mumble.
Kiba: Issei get it together man, this is important!
Issei: I can't..look at her giant boo-
Yasaka stops him before he can finish his sentence.
Yasaka: Red Dragon Emperor please think twice of what you're about to say. Remember who I am, and who my husband is.
Issei: Husband?
Brynhildr: She's married to Natsu dumbass!
Issei: oh that-
Again he's interrupted this time by the clan.
Rossewiesse: Pssst.
He looks over to them and sees a scary aura around all of the women. Tiamat made an ice sculpture of Issei and purposely crushed it with her own hands making him scared of them.
Issei: I...message received.
Grayfia: with all fun and games aside. We have all gathered here because of this.
She uses her magic to play a projected video that Irene sent to them warning everyone about the incoming danger.
Irene: He's known as the black dragon of the Apocalypse, Acnologia. He's hunting every dragon and killing them. He seriously injured Natsu and many others. I myself couldn't beat him, our fight ended in a draw. All of you must protect the dragons near you, this monster doesn't care if they're artificial dragons like Issie and Vali, if they're heavenly dragons like Tiamat, or reincarnated like Tannin. He will kill every dragon that steps in his way.
The video pauses and replays its self three more times. Her warning echoing in everyone's mind.
Lord Sitri: what should we do?
Venelana: Hearing a warning like this after a year apart from Natsu is a great deal.
Rias: After the war Natsu made it clear to me to not stop the hunt for him or the clan. According to him it gave the devils and angels inspiration to become untied to take down a common threat. But that didn't seem to happen when myself along with Brynhildr and Gabriel went to Tokyo.
Azazel: I will second this. Even though I was also well aware of the threat it seemed like the younger generation of devils and angels admire him, as weird as that sounds.
Sirzechs: Yeah I mean I don't blame them, someone of his stature and strength to have the power he holds to eliminate an entire army by himself is something to admire.
Yasaka: Enough with this talk about admiring my husband. What my love rival is saying is to cause some concern.
Kunou: Mom stop that!
The voice of the youkai princess is heard over the video feed.
Lady Phenex: do we even know how this monster looks like?
Grayfia: Unfortunately not. Irene couldn't provide us with an image or description of him. All we have is her warning, and if my gut is right I say we take her word and proceed with caution. If this Acnologia person finds out about the underworld I'm afraid we will all be in grave trouble.
Sirzechs: Lady Yasaka, Grayfia. Both of you mentioned briefly that things aren't looking too good in the surface what exactly is happening?
Azazel: It's not looking good Sirzechs.
He looks at Azazel, then looks back towards his mom.
Venelana: he's right. A massive earthquake split Japan in two. Due to that the humans are all killing each other for supplies, food, and water. Even though electricity is still available to most of the people to others there's nothing. Unfortunate for us those of us with magic have a slight advantage because of our gifts but some aren't.
Sirzechs: it was a good thing none of us were in the surface when all of this happened.
Rias: what's the death toll like?
Yasaka: According to the news and my scouts. It's in the millions. It's not only humans who have died, some of my people did as well.
Azazel: Some of my fallen angels were caught in this disaster themselves.
Rias: Devils too.
Gabriel: Angels as well.
Venelana: so this has affected all of us?
Everyone nods there heads. Everyone in the room feels a bit lost and hopeless but Rossewiesse decides to speak.
Rossewiesse: If I may.
She says, Venelana nods her head.
Rossewiesse: I..I say we do our best to help each other. I know we have had our differences in the past but what better time then to unite ourselves then now. The surface is in shambles at the moment, the best we can do is help our people give them something to look up to. Gabriel, I'm sure you've heard millions of prayers.
Gabriel: I have...and I wish I can help them all..
Rossewiesse: You can! You don't need magic all you need to do is extend your hand out. Rias, I'm sure you've gotten request as well.
Rias: Yeah at an unbelievable rate..
Rossewiesse: grant there request. In this time of need we all need to help one another and each other. Lady Yasaka use your influence in Kyoto to provide shelter for your people. Azazel, use your school as a bunker, a shelter anything help the people in Tokyo. Sitri's, Phenex's..look at this
She shows them video fee of Sona and Ravel helping out in the small town, as well as the other girls.
Rossewiesse: Ever since this started we all decided to help out. Tiamat uses her ice magic to give the people some cold refreshing water. Yubelluna provides fire for people to cook there meals. We all can do our part in getting our lives to the way they were before. As for this dragon slayer who is going around killing others like him. I say we leave him to Natsu. I'm sure he has a plan on how to take him down. I know I will, he's proved to me that he can take anyone down.
She looks at Brynhildr who looks away as both women remember the fight between Natsu and Thor.
Grayfia: I agree! The best we can do right now is protect the dragons we know of now, and leave the rest to Natsu.
Yasaka: I agree. Natsu is my husband, and I'll be the first to have children with him. So any one who opposes this, speak now of for ever hold your tongue!
No one says a word.
Yasaka: Evergone in agreement to helping the surface and bring things back to the way they were say I.
Everyone: I!
Once everyone came to an agreement that they would do there best to help each other and everyone in the surface, they left the dragon slaying to the only dragon they know can bring down another.
