Tris's POV
(A/N : This POV is simultaneous to the time where Tobias is telling Zeke the whole flashback.It continues from the part where Tris goes to her home and cries and Christina,Shauna and Marlene come to check on her)
I am sitting on the floor crying alone to myself.Then I hear a knock.I know it is not that JERK.It would be my bestie or bestie's who has/have come to check on me.
I open the door and see Chris,Mar and Shaun the sheep (A/N : That was Shauna's most embarrassing nick name).They engulf me into a hug and I hug back.
We break the hug a little later and then my tears begin to spill.
"It's okay Tris",Christina says soothing me and then she engulfs me into another hug.
"Yeah Tris.You have to be strong and show Four that he didn't have any effect on you",Marlene says.
"Yeah Tris you have to be brave and be happy",Shauna says.
I nod.I will not cry.Not for that Jerk.
"You guys are right.I will not cry.I will show him how happy I am and then make him realize his mistake",I say.
"That's like our Tris",they say in unison and then High-five each other and I smile.
"So.....Tris I was thinking...how about.......we remove Four from the gang ??.So that being near him doesn't hurt you","Christina says.
I first think it's a good idea but the I rethink it.If we remove HIM from the gang it would mean that I am not strong enough to face him after he hurt me and I don't want him to think that way.
"No Chris.We really should let him stay in the gang. Mainly due to 2 reasons:One,if we remove him from the gang....he will think that I am not strong enough to face him after his betrayal.Two,keeping him in our gang would make him feel guilty.It would make him feel uncomfortable and uneasy that we kept him in the gang despite his treacherous behaviour.That would make him feel guilty and make him realize his mistake",I say and they nod.
Then Marlene and Chris get calls from Uriah and Will respectively.They go in to speak.
After a while they come out."Sorry Tris.We have to go",They say.
"No problem.You don't need to be sorry",I say.
"I need to go too",Shauna says.
"Yeah....It's fine",I say.
They hug me and ask me to Be Brave. Be Brave that's what Tobias said when I faced my fear landscape for the first time.Ughhhh.......Tris stop thinking about that JERK.I tell to myself.
"Bye Tris.Take care of yourself",They say and then leave.
I close the door but I don't lock it because I know that after sometime the FOUR will come and I don't want to open the door for him.
I go to my room which is unfortunately also Four's (A/N : Tris will be referring to Tobias as Four since she is cross with him and she thinks he hurt her and doesn't feel bad about it).I look at myself in the mirror.I think about my life.I was so happy a while ago and now.......my life is completely destroyed.
"No Tris" I think to myself.Your life is not destroyed you still have a baby.A baby with whom you can create a new life for yourself.I touch my tummy.
"I am so sorry baby.You have to go through all of this",I say tears falling down my face.
"I really wish your DAD was really like he was before.Loving and caring.But he is a traitor.And I am so sorry for that Baby.But I promise I will love you like a Mom as well as.......as a Dad.So that you never feel the need for a father",I say still crying.
I wipe my tears and again remind my self to Be Brave.Be Brave that is what Tobi-.Stop it Tris.Stop thinking about him.Stop thinking about the one who hurt you so much.
I decide to get some sleep.I lie down.The memories of my happy life come flooding into my mind.My tears spill again.After a while.....my eyelashes close the business for tonight and I am fast asleep.
Tobias's POV
I finished telling the whole flashback obviously leaving the parts of me and Tris being Divergent as well as my "Wonderful childhood" (A/N : Note the sarcasm !!).Now Zeke is looking at me in Awe.
"Why are you looking at me like that ?? It's creepy having you look at me like that',I say.
"Because you love Tris so damn much.For her you took such a big step.Four you just now lost your respect in the eyes of the rest of the gang.But Four after what you have done for Tris,my respect for you has grown even more.You did not even think that whole gang will hate you after this.The only thing you ever cared about is Tris and I so appreciate you for that man.I promise not to tell this to anybody unless you want to or want me to",Zeke says.
I am moved by what he said."Thank you so much Zeke",I say.
"There is no need to thank me Four.You really do deserve it",He says.
I smile."Zeke now that you know the truth you must act as if you hate me in front of the gang",I say.
"Huh ?? But why ??",he asks.
"Because....if you let the gang know that you don't hate me and you are still my best buddy,the whole gang will start hating you as well for supporting me instead of Tris",I say.
"So what ??",He says.
"So.........it will ruin your relation with the gang",I say.
"You know what Four ?? I really don't care about my relation with the gang.I mean it's not that I don't care if the gang hates me but........I want to be there for you Four.You have always been there for me and now I want to be there for you too.Anyways the whole gang except me hates you right now for "Ruining" Tris's life.So....I don't want to be one of them or even act like one of them.So Four I am not going to act like I hate you in front of the gang.",He says putting air quotes around Ruining.
Again....I am moved by what he said.He is really an Amazing friend !!!! Besides Tris and the baby,he is another person to me worth dying for.
"You know what Zeke ?? You are a great friend.In fact you are my best friend.You were the only one who was able to tell that I was lying earlier.Even Christina the Candor could not find out I was lying and you found out even though you are not a Smart mouth.That shows how well you know me Zeke.",I say putting emphasis on Smart mouth and Candor.
"Well Thanks Four.You are a great friend as well.But seriously just answer this question:I am great aren't I ??",He tells+asks.
I roll my eyes and then say,"Yeah Yeah you are very great.Shauna is really lucky to have you".
"Thank you again Four.Tris is very lucky to have you as well.Now answer another question:You love me don't you ??",He asks and I roll my eyes again.
"Yeah......I love you a lot",I say messing with him.
"Okay,so why don't we hug ??",He says.
"Zeke,If you wanted a hug from me you should've just asked me for it rather than asking me a silly question like that.",I say.
"Eh.....Who cares.Now do as you promised.Hug me",He says.
I roll my eyes again and then hug him.I feel very lucky right now to have a friend like him.He is the perfect example of an amazing friend anyone could have.
We break the hug after sometime and then he asks me,"So can I help you in this Stupid,Silly mission ???".
I think there is no harm in Zeke helping me and Des with this mission so I decide to agree to let him help me.
"Yeah,sure.You can help me.I see no problem in you helping me.So you are on our mission now",I say.
"Yay !!!!",He squeals like a little girl and I just glare at him as if to say SERIOUSLY.He just shrugs.
"So.....when can I meet the other member of the SS mission ??",He asks.
"Umm....we can go meet her now.And btw what is SS ??",I answer his query+ask my query.
"SS mission stands for Stupid,Silly mission",He says and I just smile.
"So let's go and meet the other member of the SS mission right now",I say and smile.He just smiles back.
"Yeah.I am very eager to meet your LLS",He says.
"Oh Zeke.For god sake quit the abbreviations.And what does LLS stand for??",I tell and then ask.
"It stands for..........",He pauses to make it more dramatic and then continues,"Long Lost Sister".
I just roll my eyes and then nod and then lead him toward Des's new home which is also my old home.
We reach there and I knock at the door.
"Who is it ??",She asks from the other side of the door.
I decide to mess with her so I say,"This is Theo James" since he is her favorite actor.
"Really Bro ???"She asks from the other side and then opens the door.
"Hey Des",I say.
"Hey Bro",She says and then hugs me.I hug her back.
"Awwww.......this is so sweet",Zeke says and I just glare at him and ask him to shut up.He acts like I offended him and starts fake crying.So I hug him as well.
"Awwww.....this is so sweet",This time Destiny says.I ask her to shut up and she also starts fake crying.
"Oh for god sake can you guys stop messing with me ??",I ask and they nod.Then I see Zeke and Destiny High-five since they were fully successful in annoying me.
"Okay let me introduce you to each other.....now that you have already gotten along well",I say.
"Des,this is Zeke my best buddy",I say introducing Des to Zeke.
"And Zeke this is Destiny my LLS",I say imitating what Zeke had said before.
"Hi Zeke. Nice to meet you",Des greets.
"Hey Destiny. Nice to meet you too",Zeke greets back.
"Bro what does LLS mean ??",she asks.
"LLS means Long lost sister.This abbreviation was invented by my buddy Zeke",I say.
She just nods and then smiles.I explain the whole situation to Destiny.I tell her about Zeke eventually finding out that I was lying and he will be helping us.I also tell her about how badly Tris was hurt when I faked hating Tris.
"Okay...I now understand the whole situation.So now even Zeke is a part of this mission ??",she says+asks.
Before I can answer Zeke answers her question,"Yeah.Now even I am a part of this SS mission".
"Now what is SS mission??",Destiny asks getting a bit annoyed with having to guess every time.
"It means Stupid Silly mission",I say and she bursts out laughing.
"Did your best buddy make that one too ??",she asks.
"Yeah I did",Zeke answers for me."Four I must say that your sister is very smart and understanding",he says.
"Yeah.....HR Zeke",I say deciding to use his abbri style (A/N : It means abbreviation style).
"Oooohh.I am glad my influence is getting on to you",he says and I just roll my eyes.
"But seriously what does HR mean ??",he asks.
"It means..........",I say pausing for a dramatic effect like he had done earlier."Happy realization",I finish.He just grins proudly because he thinks his influence it getting on to me.I again just roll my eyes.
"Okay guys enough of this.Let's concentrate on our SS mission now",I say and then see Zeke and Des nod.
"So what should we do next?",Destiny asks.
"Umm....I don't know.Zeke do you have any idea ??",I ask.
"Yeah you could use the number one hurting style",he says.
"And that would be ??",me and Des ask in unison and again smile at our unisonness.
"Gosh !! You both are so similar it's creeping me",Zeke says.
"Shut up Zeke and tell us the plan",I scream.
"Okay Okay calm down",he says and I just give him a glare.The scary glare.
"So the number one hurting style is.........JEALOUSY",he says.
"What is that supposed to mean ??",me and Des again ask in unison.
"Can you quit creeping me like that ??",Zeke asks.
"Nope",me and Des again say in unison.We just smile at each other.
"Okay so the plan is : You have to use Destiny to hurt Tris",Zeke says.(A/N : I didn't explain this on purpose since you will find out the meaning of this on your own in the upcoming Chapters)
"Oh.....got it",me and Des again say in unison.If we keep on saying things in unison....I bet the gang will find out we are siblings, through the inherit similarity in our eyes as well as our unisonness.
We discuss more on the plan and work things out for a while and then decide to call it a night.
