Aziel stumps his feet on the floor.

I shake my head. Not admitting it.

I narrow my green eyes at him, feeling offended.
"I never said that. Besides you're far from my type!"
I completely disregard my earlier thoughts.
"You literally thought I look like how chase atlantic sounds and considering you're a die hard fan...I think I am your type."
I anxiously bite my lips. Not only did he figure me out completely, Aziel also heard everything I said in my thoughts.

My right leg bumps up and down. I can't deal with this right now. I'll have a fucking panic attack.

I scream my anger out as I crumble up under the sheets. I'm a little ass kid.

I shut my eyes as I hear him moving towards me. I pull the sheets harder while Aziel tries to lift them up. Considering the man has some big ass muscles, he wins.
My eyes meet his doe hazel eyes.
I swear I see his expression soften when he looks me in the eyes that stare at him like a kid.
His free hand comes on my cheek, caressing it.

My stupid heart jumps at his compliment. The first compliment he ever gave me.

I gulp so loud he hears it and gets his answer.
I don't know. I mean there's tension between us. The man helps me when he's not in his demon stage. He's kind, caring and pretty funny too.

I turn my back to him. Trying to sleep.

I hold my chuckle in. Knowing that he's right.

Aziel's voice says as he creeps under the sheets.
I feel his gaze on me.
"Why do you listen to music so much?"
Only half awake, I answer:
"Because it silences my thoughts."
Morning
"Be a good girl, alright? Your smartass will do good, I know you will." I pinch her chubby cheek.
After I let her go, she keeps turning in circles. Looking at her butt.
"Ana what are you doing?"
"I don't have a smart butt!"
I put my sweaty hand on her mouth.
Parents look at me and her weirdly. Why the fuck did you say that to a little kid Nova!
"No of course you don't. Now go. Come on."
I slightly push her towards the entrance.
Waiting until she's fully in.

I stop walking at her screaming voice.
I look back at her, she runs to a boy and hugs him. Did I hear that right?

I tilt my head, the boy is little Liam.

Aziel's been bothering me all morning. He keeps on insisting he'll accompany me everywhere I go.

I'm lost in my thoughts so I don't see Aziel looking at me every now and then.

"What's on your mind?"
"N-Nothing..Are you going to stay with me till I reach the market?"

I roll my tired eyes and fix the bag that's falling off my shoulder.

"Shut up! You didn't even let me sleep properly!"
I say, hitting his shoulder.

Aziel offensively screams.
"Yeah but you forgot you sound like a dying cat! I had to cleanse my ears this morning!"
That's a lie.
Aziel has a beautiful voice. I didn't sleep because I felt anxious with him next to me.
And because I wanted to listen to him all night.
I'm sure he was a singer at some point.
With such a voice it is practically impossible not to be one. Soft and raspy at the same time.
I slowly pull my earphones out of my pocket.
"Want one?"
He hesitates before taking one and putting it in his ear.
"Fine...but your music is shitty."
"You're shitty."
I do not tolerate criticism on c.a.
After 30 minutes we arrived at the market. Right on time. However my head hurts.

I appreciate the fact I got him into the fandoms but he keeps on repeating the same shit.

Well now I feel bad for screaming at him.

I push the earphones and my phone in his hands.
"Just do whatever until I finish my shift."
Aziel's face quickly brightens up at the mention of my music. He quickly forgets about me and goes all into the music.

I sway the glass doors open and enter.
The ugly uniform hugs my body and I wear my hoodie on top of it. Maybe it'll look better?
And I also decided to scribble the slogan that works on my nerves away with a sharpie.
I can't tell you how good that felt.
"Nova! Hey!"
The good feeling vanishes.
I literally want to kill the manager. Does he purposely put us on the same shift?!

I scan some things as the cashier and look at him after a while since he didn't move.

I stop my words as I freeze. Looking at the badge.

My eyes slowly travel to his face. A big smile is plastered on his face. For once I see hope and disappointment. Not in his eyes.
