50.) "If you bite your lip one more time, I'm going to do it for you."

"Naaaaghh, can I stop now?" Donnie sighed, wobbling a small ball on the beak of his nose. His brows were furrowed in concentration, sweat beading around his forehead as the ball leaned further and further away from being balanced. Laughter filled the small projector room, April and Mikey leant against each other as they cackled, Raph sat firmly on the recliner with a big grin set across his features and finally you and Leo were cheering Donnie on from the sidelines.
"Nah ah ah, it hasn't been five minutes yet." Leo reprimanded, checking his phone for the time. Donnie groaned in irritation, his body contorting in strange ways to accommodate the sudden movements of the ball. "This is embarrassing," Donnie mumbled, voice being muffled by the ball as it rolled back and hit him in the face. The softshell turtle stumbled backwards out of shock, his left foot sliding on one of Mikey's skateboards left lying around. As quick as it happened, Donnie was flung into the air and landed on his shell with a grunt.
You all gathered around him, hushed whispers of "Are you okay?" being muttered. Donnie pushed up his goggles that had fallen over his face when he fell, a pained look on his profile, "Wow D, I've never seen a fail that bad!" Leo laughed. You quickly hit him in the shoulder for Donnie's sake, a pained grunt escaping his lips, "What?"
"Will you shut it for a minute," you urged. Donnie soon moved into a slouch, a small bruise forming on his arm, "I'll be fine, I don't feel like anything is broken." he quipped. April helped him stand, albeit on shaky legs, "C'mon D, let's go get you some ice." the two left the room with April leading a hobbling Donnie to the kitchen.
"And then there were four," Leo joked, holding a flashlight under his face like a horror movie. You resumed your seats, the circle that you had started with becoming a lot smaller. "Who wants to go next?" Mikey asked, his body bouncing as he danced in his seat, probably replaying a song in his head, a mind of his own. The room was quiet, no one dared go next after witnessing what Donnie had to do.
"Fine, I'll go, I choose dare." Leo sighed when he noticed no one else rising up to the challenge. He looked away as the group convened, hushed mumbles and whispers rattled through the three friends. "We've come to a decision!" Mikey announced, finger pointed to the ceiling, Leo leaned forward awaiting his command. You and Raph held, or at least tried to hold in, your giggles, the excitement was too much for you both.
"We dare you to...take one item from Splinter's room. Without him noticing."
The look on Leo's face was priceless, wide eyes, jaw utterly dropped, sweat already forming along his brow; priceless. Your laughter was loud and obnoxious, chortles echoing in the lower passages. Leo stood up straight, mentally hyping himself up for the most death-defying risk he's ever taken. "If I don't make it...make sure Donnie doesn't get my room." he winked at you before creeping his way over to his father's room. "Any requests?" he asked smugly, hand inching closer and closer to the handle of the sliding door, you could have sworn your cheeks illuminated at just the sight of his cocky self.
While Leo was in the no-man zone, Donnie and April came back from the kitchen, a bag of frozen peas smushed against Donnie's right cheek. "What took you guys so long?" Raph huffed, moving out of his seat for his younger brother. April rolled her eyes, mentally reliving the event, "Well, a certain genius here wouldn't except ice cubes because they would melt and ruin the wiring in his battle shell."
"Which is 100% right-"
"So then I had to go looking for something else, I must have gone through the whole freezer before I found the peas."
"And I feel so honoured by your sacrifices," Donnie replied, his face smug as hell. "Oooh boyy," April hissed, already rolling her jacket sleeves up past her elbows ready for a fight. You grabbed a hold of April's shoulders and led her over to where you were sat, "Hey you guys are just in time, Leo's just gone to do his dare."
"Ooh what was it?" April asked, jumping down onto the beanbag with crossed legs. Mikey bounced over, still keeping his high levels of energy way late into the night, "He has to take something from Splinter's room."
"Oh, well, I guess I'll get the funeral ready, a little earlier than I thought but-" Donnie sighed, tapping away on his tech gauntlet. Raph leaned closer to the soft-shell turtle, face obnoxiously close to the tech gauntlet "Wait, you planned Leo's funeral?"
"Not just Leo's." Donnie's snide comment gave Raph butterflies in his stomach, quickly changing subjects your voice was unsteady "Soooo, how long do you think he's gonna be?"
"Not sure, if Splinter hasn't caught him yet then possibly a few more minutes, but if Papa did catch him-"
"We'd know about it already," Raph joked, returning to his spot on the floor. "How about someone else goes? Then we're not waiting around for Leo, if he ever does return." April suggested a mischievous look in her eyes. The group agreed and sat silent again until April elected you to go next: "Truth or dare, (Y/N)?"
What to pick, what to pick? If you did dare you knew April would bring Leo into the situation, after all, she did say you'd be a good couple. But you couldn't do that, not to Leo, especially when you knew he didn't like you. But then again, you couldn't do truth because then April would make you admit to Leo that you liked him. Either way, it was a one-way ticket to embarrassment town and you were currently at clown station. Truth or dare? Truth or dare? TRUTH or dare? TRUTH OR DARE? TRUTH OR DARE!
"(Y/N)!" April shouted, finally waking you from your daydreams, "Huh? Oh sorry, erm, I choose...Dare!" The group looked at one and another, quickly hunching together with their backs to you as they came up with a fitting dare. They soon departed with devil horns on their heads, Mikey stepped forward with a smile as big as the Cheshire cat, "(Y/N), we dare you to..." Here it comes the moment you've been waiting for, the moment where things will get awkward and you'll embarrass yourself in front of your crush and be banished from the lair for forever.
"We dare you to kiss Leo."
"WHAT!" you screamed, eyes wide and skin sickly pale. Raph pulled you close to him, your cheek scrunched up to his plastron, "Don't sweat it (Y/N), Leo likes you too; it's kinda obvious." You backed away from him on shaky legs, hands trembling with nervous "No, no, I can't do that- What if he doesn't like me? He might hate me if I kiss him!"
"Just relax, besides it's a dare you have to do it." Donnie deadpanned, "Well then I choose truth." you pouted, arms folded over your chest. April rolled her eyes at you, "Okay, is it true that you would like to kiss Leo right now?" Your cheeks burned red at her trickery, "Damn it." you muttered with a glare. The sound of a sliding door behind you alerted you to his presence, turning around your eyes met the cocky red-eared slider leaning against the wall throwing a small object into the air and catching it with the same hand.
"Did I miss anything?" he teased, catching the item one final time before walking further into the room. "You survived!" Mikey cheered, the other two brothers soon approaching with smiles on their faces, "Watcha take?" Raph asked intrigued. Leo held a small bauble with four poorly painted turtles and a rat dead in the centre; clearly a young Mikey's handiwork. "Nooo way, he kept that?" Mikey beamed, snatching the orb from Leo, "Well done, Leonard, I'll cancel the funeral." Donnie digressed, tapping his lanky fingers against his tech gauntlet, "My what?" Leo uttered.
"Hey Leo, you're just in time to see (Y/N) do their dare." April brought up, reminding everyone what was about to happen. You cringed at her words, of course, she wouldn't forget, April never forgets! "Oh? And what is this dare, hm?" Leo questioned, swiftly standing very close to you. You blushed at his close proximity, so close you could faintly smell his natural scent: pinewood with a hint of pepperoni. "Eh he he," you chuckled nervously, fingers busy in the strands of your hair.
Leo tilted his head at you in confusion, looking around he saw everyone look eager and lovestruck, "Guys, what's going on?" he voiced again, his tone wavering. It was now or never, you grabbed Leo's arms and pulled him to face you, his eyes were wide as they took in your apprehensive appearance.
"DO IT! DO IT! DO IT! DO IT!" The crowd behind you cheered, hooting and whistling in encouragement, although all it did was make you more nervous and aware of their gaze. "(Y/N)?" Leo questioned, his gaze warm and gentle. With the swiftness of a tiger, you pulled Leo closer to your level, standing on the tips of your toes to even it out slightly. Your lips collided in a messy crash, but you didn't care, you were here right now with your lips pressed against the love of your life. You were so in your head that you didn't feel Leo kissing back.
The moment your lips had descended on him, his eyes grew wide and his limbs went stiff, but the moment he relaxed and started kissing you back he knew that he could never find a better feeling like this one. He wrapped his hands around your waist pulling you flush against his plastron, your arms snaked around his neck, interlocking your fingers so you could never let go.
"Awww," The crowd behind you cooed - minus Donnie- their souls were full of happiness as they watched the start of a beautiful relationship blossom, "Eeew." they then soon groaned when things got a little more intense. Pulling back from Leo, his lips sought yours, you smiled up at him, eyes sparkling in the lighting of the projector room. "I didn't know you missed me that much," he teased, taking enjoyment in your flushed cheeks. You buried your head into the crook of his neck to hide from the eyes you could feel on your face, you could feel the rumble of Leo's chest as he laughed, the feeling of his fingers running through your hair.
"See? Now that wasn't so hard was it?" April sassed her hand on her hip, a beaming smile on her lips. You laughed along with her, thankful that this turned out in the best possible way. Moving from your hiding spot beneath Leo's chin, you bit your lip as you looked up at him, gazing into his eyes. He was doing the same, flicking his attention from the gleam of your eyes to the faint freckles on your cheeks; god you were perfect. His gaze soon landed on your lips again, a teasing comment biting back at his tongue, but he just couldn't help himself:
"If you bite your lip one more time, I'm going to do it for you."
You continued to do it, earning a low growl from Leo, he soon dove back in and kept to his word. "We're just gonna go now, leave you two alone." Raph babbled, scratching his neck as his cheeks bloomed pink. You'd never seen the group move so fast before.
