Yashvi's POV:
As I wore my other earring, I heard a knock on the door.
"Tara." I said, as I saw her standing at the door. And just like Meghaa, she looked nervous too as she played with her fingers.
She was wearing her dark blue color lehenga and her hair was all curled up against her face. She looked me up and down before saying, "You look pretty!"
I glanced at my dark blue color lehenga. We both had decided to wear the same lehenga at Rishab's engagement. I smiled at myself as I remembered how excited Tara was for this. "Thanks!... You too!"
She gave me a wide smile before saying, "Can I come in?"
"Sure.... It's your room too!" I replied before letting her walk in.
As I closed the door behind me, Tara spoke. "Look Yash, I am really sorry!... I didn't mean to say anything that I said earlier!... It was all just the alcohol talking!.... I know how difficult it is for you and being your best friend, I should support you!... But all I do is, always make it even more difficult for you!... I know that I hurt you but I swear I didn't mean to!.... Please, don't take anything to your heart!" She kept blabbering.
"It's okay!... I know that you didn't mean to hurt me! I'm not upset with you! Really!" I said cutting her off in between and meant it.
"Really?" she asked and I nodded.
"Oh, thank you so much!" she said, feeling relieved as she walked towards me. "I promise, I'll never repeat this again!" she said as she embraced me.
Honestly, I felt that she was right... I am selfish... and dumb, and stupid. But, that's how I am. I was always like this. And I cannot change myself overnight..... I want to set myself free and do what my heart desires but... But I am scared, I am scared that I am not brave enough to handle what will come along later.
I mean, what will people say?
Not to me, but my parents.
I cannot let them down!

Standing in a corner, I watched as all the couples, well not exactly romanced, but shared a moment.
Shiv was busy feeding Vartika with his own hands while she was busy talking to someone on call.
Vihaan looked like he was trying to convince Raadha to do something. I just hope she agrees!
Aarushi looked like she was busy bitching about other girls outfits while Kaushik was just busy looking at her with adore.
Kaajal and Rishab looked like as if they were having a staring contest. I cringed at them at first but then couldn't help but smile.
I even saw mom blushing, as dad suddenly kissed her on her cheeks. She looked so surprised and starting looking here and there in embarrassment before hitting dad on his shoulder. Dad chuckled at her reaction before embracing her making mom smile.
I smiled at myself seeing them so happy together. I feel every couple should be like them. I have never seen them stay angry at each other for more than a few hours.
Suddenly, it hit me. I felt so lonely being surrounded by all these lovely couple. Why couldn't my love story be just as simple as their's is? Why did it had to be so difficult for me? Is it even a love story? If only, I was brave enough to go and confess my love for Satvik. If only, I was able to destroy my inner inhibitions that keep making me feel guilty for loving my step-brother.
I was suddenly snapped out of my thoughts as I spotted a familiar face.
'Isha?'
But before, I could even make up my mind on whether to go and talk to her or just act like I didn't see her, she saw me.
Being an introvert is not easy, you know. Talking to people gives me anxiety.
She waved her hand at me with a dazzling smile on her face and started approaching me. I couldn't help but notice how beautiful she looked in her light orange color lehenga.
"Wow!" I murmured to myself as I looked down at her abs. I must say that she has got a body every girl desires for. She must workout a lot.
"Hey! How are you?" she asked as she reached me.
"Hii.... I'm good, how are you?" I asked as we broke the hug.
"I'm good too," she said with a smile showing her teeth.
"I really don't wanna sound rude but what are you doing here?" I questioned hesitantly.
"Oh... He didn't tell you too?" she asked, narrowing her eyes at me.
"Who?"
"Satvik!... I guess he didn't tell anyone cause everyone has been asking me that exact same question since I have arrived!" she told me with a soft chuckle.
Satvik invited her? And no one knows, including me? But why?
"Oh.... So, are you guys like back together?" I asked slowly.
"What?... No, no no, no, no!... I mean, I know that it must be seeming like that but we are not!... Actually, we were never even together, we just went on a few dates!... Besides, even I don't know why he invited me but I just couldn't refuse, you know..." she said with a soft chuckle. "He knew that I was in Udaipur because of my instagram stories and then this evening he suddenly called me and invited me... When I asked him why, he said that it just seemed rude of him to not invite me even after knowing that I am in the same city."
"Oh!" I thought for a second before continuing. "So where is he?" I said while glancing around.
"He just went out to attend a call."
"Oh, so shall I give you company until he returns?" I asked politely.
I don't know the reason why Satvik invited her but I don't care. I like her, she is sweet.
"No!" We snapped our heads towards the person standing a few feet away from us. Satvik stared at me with a stern look on his face. I gave him a confused look before noticing his clothes. He was wearing green colour Sherwaani and looked just perfect. How can someone look so attractive even when they are angry?
"She doesn't needs your company. She has me. You go.... enjoy the party. Don't bother to waste your precious time." Satvik said while keeping his hand around Isha as he reached closer to us.
I looked at Isha, she looked confused and so was I. "What? I was just trying to help!"
"Well, no one needs it here though!... No one needs your favour! Stop worrying about others, and worry about yourself!" Satvik said with an attitude that I have never seen him show me before. I could not help but notice that there was some different meaning behind his words.
I opened my mouth to say something but couldn't. I was speechless. Satvik kept staring at me as if trying to pierce dagger in my body through his eyes.
What's wrong with him? Why is he acting so rude and weird suddenly?
"Isha, my mom and dad want to see you!... Come let's go!" he said and walked away before giving me a look, leaving me confused because of his sudden change in behavior.
"Bye, see you around!" Is all Isha could manage to say before being dragged away by Satvik.
Why is he behaving like this? Did I do something to offend him? I tried to put a lot of pressure on my head but still couldn't think of anything I did, that could possibly hurt him. Just a few hours ago he was showing me around the Udaipur market, carrying me in his arms and suddenly he started giving me this attitude.
And what does he mean by stop worrying about others and worry about yourself? I know that there is some hidden meaning behind his words but my mind just can't process it.

I woke up as my alarm went off in the morning. I turned around only to find Tara sleeping so peacefully, like a child. I smiled at her and tried to wake her up, as nicely as I could. Just like a mother would wake her child up.
"Get up baby!" I said while caressing her face. She groaned in sleep but instead of waking up she pulled the covers more closer to her chest and went back to sleeping.
"Come on!... Get up!... We'll get late for the dance practice!" I reminded, making her open her eyes. "I'll take shower first!" I told her before getting up from the bed to get ready. I chose to wear a sky blue t-shirt and black yoga pants.
"Where is, Tara?" My dance instructor asked me as soon as I reached closer to her.
"She's getting ready, she'll be here in ten minutes!" I informed her. She nodded her head in understanding and asked me to do some stretching until Tara arrives. She then went back to helping Aarushi and Kaushik with their dance practice. They looked so cute while dancing together.
We were practicing on the rooftop of the second floor of the resort. The view from here was so calming and picturesque. I smiled looking at the pigeons sitting around the rooftop.
As I walked towards a corner and started stretching out, I felt someone's gaze on me. I stopped to look around only to find him standing against the railing, staring at me so weirdly.
