Biana's POV:
"Woohoo, another attack. But we're also going to be attacked one by one, how fun is that?"I grumbled as Tam explained to Mr Forkle, Sophie, Dex, Fitz, Linh and me on how fun our whole day was going to be with the whole Neverseen chasing us down.
Tam had hailed Mr. Forkle after hearing the news, and Mr. Forkle had arranged to meet him at one of the Black Swan's hideouts, he was only here because of an excuse that he gave to the Neverseen about having to 'experience more of the dark' and went here.
Glimmer couldn't come because she was training with the other Flashers.
I couldn't say I was sad to hear about that.
Mr. Forkle's expression was grim,"I'm afraid we need a change of plan on...well, everything. Your safety is the most important. We'll have more security guarding all of you, The Neverseen might attack anytime."
Sophie hesitated,"But, would that affect my travels to the Forbidden Cities? I mean, wouldn't want 20 goblin bodyguards running around, attacking every fly that comes near me."
Mr. Forkle smiled, "Certainly not. You kids will have dwarven bodyguards. Besides, we do not want the Neverseen to know that we are on to them."
"Um, Hello? Have you seen the Neverseen? They wiped out Lumenaria! And that only took one guy. "Tam rose one finger,"Also, they are probably angrier, I mean, Sophie just burned down their storage room, took their caches and skipped outta there, leaving the everything else to burn and leaving your mark, which was the WORST idea, by the way. " he pointed at Sophie.
Sophie scowled,"I said I was sorry! What else did you expect me to do?!"
"Oh, your sorry? How about you say that to the Neverseen's face! You stomp out there, thinking like you own the world! How about we have a plan, a real one. Not one that the Neverseen can predict!"
Sophie stepped back, and Linh put her hand on Tam's arm.
Mr. Forkle sighed,"Okay, then what do you expect us to do? Tell us, Mr. Tam, you have the most information."
Tam sighed, and his hand tugged his bangs,"Fine. Glimmer and I devised a plan. I hate doing these stupid speeches, but here goes...."
We huddled around Tam as he explained his plan....

Tam's POV:
"Isn't it time to launch the attack?"I asked.
A Neverseen member wearing a black hood scowled at me(I had been seeing that a lot lately) and said,"No. Not until the other attack happens. You've gotta be more attentive if you want to come on more missions like these."
I stayed silent, the Black Swan should have been already attacked by now, what was taking them so long?
The Neverseen's plan was like this, they were going to attack each member at the same time, so they would have no time to react, it was a pretty smart plan, and I was pretty sure the Black Swan would have never anticipated it.
But we did now.
Our plan was when they were going to be attacked, they would split into two groups, , and when the Neverseen tried to strike, we would be ready.
I think.
Breathe Tam, Breathe. You are just nervous to see if you fail this mission, and if you do, you're gonna become silver chicken soup for the Neverseen. My brain whispered.
Shut up.
Hokay, silver chicken soup.
I groaned and my eyes decided that that was the time to pay attention on what was happening.
That was a great timing, because our group started attacking at that moment.
We were assigned to Fitz, and when we appeared, Fitz's eyes flashed at me, and I decided to start acting, fast.
I grabbed all the shadows I could hold and aimed it at Fitz, the shadows knocked him down, and started surrounding him, wrapping him in darkness.
All the other Neverseen members started to work too, one basting wind repeatedly at Fitz's face, and another started blasting water at Fitz's legs, face, everything while my shadows slowly worked their way up.
But that was when it finally happened.
Biana and Sophie appeared, out of breath and I put on my worst scowl and started launching shadows at them.
On cue, both of them swiftly missed them, and started running towards the other Neverseen members, attacking them with everything they had.
"Hah! You can't even attack one of your former members! You're weak!"A Neverseen member shouted, it was Ruy, and his force shield surrounded the Neverseen members, preventing us from getting hurt, but before that, the hydrokinetic slammed Fitz's head into a wall, making Fitz's head bleed, and Biana rushed towards him, meanwhile, Sophie was currently hung up by a guster, and I didn't think she was that angry to inflict anytime soon/
Too bad he forgot one person.
Me.
Ruy smirked, "Well, Tam, I'm sure that we will leave everything else up to you."
Me?
As if he could read my mind, Ruy grinned,"Finish Fitz off! I know how much you hate him, him being the perfect wonderboy and all, don't you just despise him?"
Biana shook her head, her eyes saying,'Don't.'
My heart was racing, if I didn't hit Fitz, the Neverseen would become suspicious, but if I hit Fitz, everyone would think I was a traitor.
Then again, aren't you? A part of my brain screamed.
No Tam, you aren't one, trust your heart, don't make a mistake. The other pasrt of my brain shouted.
My brain wanted to scream, I wanted to screwam, so I did the only think I could do.
I crouched down.
And screamed.
I don't know how, but subconsciously, all the darkness started to click inside of me, making the light dim from my eyes, and if by magic, all the darkness was released and I could see again.
How I wished I could close my eyes.
Fitz was injured, and his chest's color was black from where Umber's echoes had originally hit him, seeing him, the color drained from my face.
I couldn't have, this wasn't part of the plan.
Sophie was free, and was already frantically grabbing Biana so they could use telekinesis to teleport all three of them away.
Biana.
She glared at me furiously, and all I could see from her eyes was anger and fury, along with words I wished I couldn't read.
Betrayer. Traitor. I shouldn't have trusted you.
She looked away, and took Sophie's hand as they used telekinesis to carry Fitz as all three of them teleported away.
When they were gone, Ruy looked at me and smiled,"You've done some work there. Next time, try to hit all of them. Come one, let's head back."
He raised his black pathfinder and the rest of them took out their's too, and slowly, each of them glittered away, leaving me behind, in shock as I slowly took out my own black pathfinder that the Neverseen had given me the day before and raised it.
The only thought I could concentrate on felt like it was towering me, and I feared it.
How am I going to fix the mess that I've gotten into?
