Same night (Singhania Mansion)
All the Singhania siblings were sitting at the pool side along with the kids who were playing ludo with Adarsh and Siddharth at a side. Karan and Veer were sitting on the sofa while Amna along with Ishu and Swadhinta was cutting fruits for all of them and preparing juice and drinks. Twinkle was massaging Sanskar's head and Naina was sitting at a side waiting for her turn. Mishkat and Kanchi were sitting at a side cuddling and Rey was just sitting there quietly.
All of them were chilling after Harsh and their parents gave them the good news that both Rey and Taani agreed for the marriage, but all the while Rey was just silent which didn't went unnoticed by all of them. Hence they decided to spend this time hearing him and his state of mind. All of them were giving each other looks to start the convo when all gave Karan a pointed look which clearly meant, 'who is the elder one here?'.
Karan sighed at them and started,
"Rey kya hua? Jabse tu aaya hai disturbed hai, today is such a happy day. You finally found the one you wanna marry..."
Siddharth nodded asking,
"Yeah Rey, fir tu kyu itna lost hai?"
He sighed looking at his sibling, he knew this topic was going to come up, after all they knew each other like the back of their hands so he was prepared,
"Pata nahi bhai, I am happy that I finally found the one I wanna marry. But kuch weird hai, something is not right!"
"What's not right Rey? Don't you like Taani?"
Swadhinta asked him, he immediately shook his head in denial,
"Nahi bhabhi, aisa nahi hai. If I didn't like her do you think I would have agreed?"
All of them shook their heads in denial knowing he wouldn't. Kanchi stood up and going towards him she sat beside him keeping her hand on his,
" To kya baat hai Rey? Kya galat lag raha hai tujhe?"
Even Naina came and sat beside him winding her arm around his neck. Rey sighed tiredly,
"Taani ki family!"
All of them were hell confused, while Naina sighed in understanding, she knew what he was talking about, she was there after all,
"Yeah bhai is right. Even I found them weird!"
Adarsh shook his head at them saying,
"Tum dono kehna kya chahte ho? Saaf saaf bolo!"
Amna said concerned,
"Haan Rey, Naina vahan kuch hua kya?"
Rey looked at Amna smiling slightly,
"Kuch nahi bahot kuch bhabhi. That family as Naina said is weird. Matlab I didn't get good vibes from them. Trust me when I say I didn't like her family even a bit."
Mishkat frowned,
"To fir Taani?...."
Naina shook her head,
"nahi Mishu bhaiya, bhabhi unki family se bahot alag hai. We were just talking about her parents."
Ishita looked at Rey saying exasperatedly,
"Rey jab tak tu hume bataega hi nahi ki kya hua, tab tak hume bhi kese pata chalega ki tu jo soch raha hai vo sach hai ya nahi?"
Twinkle too supported her,
"Haan Rey! Atleast tell us what happened there that you don't like them. Kisi ko naa pasand karne ka koi reason to hota hai."
Rey nodded,
"Kya batau bhabhi? Or samjh nahi aa raha kaha se shuru karu? Pehle to Taani vesi bilkul nahi hai jese mene apni life partner ke bare mein socha tha, she is just too introvert and shy, matlab when we talked, in fact only I was talking and she was replying like usse apne point of views aage rakhne ki aadat hi naho. But fir bhi I like her a lot. In fact shayad like se zyada..."
He was saying when Sanskaar interrupted,
"Ohho! Kya baat hai bhai, abhi se like and all!"
All gave him an irritated look and Twinkle who was massaging his head slapped it making him hiss rubbing it,
"Opps sorry guys, sorry bhabhi, maaro to mat aise."
Saying that he gave an apologetic look to everyone and Naina mumbled under her breath,
"Monkey!"
Veer looked at Rey saying,
"Tu bol rey, ignore this Bandar!"
Naina giggled at Veer's words and Sanskaar gave him a fake hurt look,
"Hmm. Jesa ki mene kaha. I like Taani but not her family. They are too dominating I guess. Matlab jitna mujhe samajh aaya Taani ko apne decisions lene ka haq nahi hai. When mumma asked her why she didn't study further and made her career to vo to kuch nahi boli but uske parents ne ek dum se uske behalf pe bola that she just want to get married or usse career mein koi interest nahi hai. Balki jab meri usse akele mein baat hui and I told her if she wants she can study further and fufill her dreams, she got so happy hearing it. Aisa laga hi nahi usse apne career ko leke koi dreams hi nahi hai."
Naina nodded,
"Haan most of the time bhabhi ke behalf pe unke parents hi answer kar rahe the, bhai ne to ek baar bol bhi diya ki bhabhi kuch kyu nahi bol rahi."
Everyone were just patiently hearing when Rey continued,
"Haan and you know sabse badi baat, when I gave my decision that I would marry her, they didn't even ask her opinion once, unhone usse bina puche rishta fix kardiya. Which parents do that?!"
Siddharth guessed,
"Maybe unhe uska answer pata ho isliye?!"
Rey shook his head,
"Nahi bhai, main or Taani tab baat karke aaye hi the. Unhone uski taraf dekha bhi nahi. And usne bhi koshish nahi ki kuch bolne ki."
Naina too supported him,
"haan agar bhai ne unhe nahi bola hota ki vo bhabhi se bhi unki marzi puche to vo kabhi nahi puchte."
Amna said immediately,
"may be shayad unke ghar ka mahaul alag ho Rey. Vahan ladkiyan itna na bolti hon. India mein kitne aise ghar hain jahan girls ko boys jitni liberty nahi di jati."
Twinkle nodded at her words,
"Haan Rey or tumhe ye sab isliye ajeeb lag raha hai coz hamara ghar bahot alag hai. Yahan tumne hum sabko apne point of views bolte hue dekha hai because hume iss ghar mein even as daughter-in-laws itni liberty milti hai!"
Ishita too nodded,
"Haan Rey balki yahan to hume or tum sab ko ek jese treat kiya jata hai, no difference between us and you guys!"
Swadhinta concluded,
"May be Taani ke ghar mein aisa naa hota ho."
Mishkat supported his bhabhi's
"Haan Rey bhabhi bilkul thik bol rahi hai, ho sakta hai Taani ke parents dominating ho. Bahot logon ke hote hai and it's nothing wrong..."
"But bhai even at the cost of someone' individuality. Taani doesn't have that, she doesn't have control on her own life, do you think it's right?"
Mishkat stayed quite knowing that it's not but Kanchi answered,
"Rey hum jante hai ye sahi nahi hai. Par abhi to tujhe bhi puri baat nahi pata na, vo tujhe tab tak pata nahi chalegi jab tak tu Taani se iss bare mein baat nahi karta!"
Veer nodded,
"Haan Rey usse baat kar,yahi to time hai ek dusre ke bare mein janne ka or baat karneka."
Adarsh continued after that,
"Haan Rey shaadi se pehle tu usse iss bare mein baat karega to tum dono ke liye achha hai! But don't force her to tell you, agar vo comfortable ho tujhse iss bare mein share karne mein to hi."
All his siblings agreed with adarsh when Karan said keeping his hand on Rey's shoulder,
"haan Rey or agar aisa kuch hua bhi, to ab kya tension hai. Jaldi teri or uski shaadi hogi, vo apne ghar mein nahi yahan uske naye ghar mein rahegi. Yahan usse vo har cheez ki liberty or freedom milegi jo pehle nahi mili. Jese baki sab ko hai!"
Sanskaar who became serious by now nodded,
"Haan bhai or aapne unhe bol to diya hi hai ki vo yahan aane ke baad apni padhai or career continue kar sakti hai dekhna dhire dhire bhabhi apne shell se bahar aa hi jaengi! After all Singhania siblings ka jaadu hi kuch aisa hai!"
He said winking and high-fiving Naina and making everyone chuckle and Rey too smiled a little this time. He nodded,
"You all are right! But ab mujhe kya karna chahiye?"
Kanchi slapped his forehead lightly,
"Ye bhi koi puchne ki baat hai you idiot! Call her and ask her to meet you, miloge baat karoge tabhi to sab clear hoga."
He nodded sheepishly, Swadhinta smiled saying while Naina now happily moved to Twinkle who started massaging her head as Sanskaar was done.
"Chal ab ye sad face chod! Mere pas ek idea hai, hum sab to Taani se mile hi nahi hai, ek kaam karte hai. I'll ask mumma to call Taani on lunch without her parents humse milne, fir tum dono time spend bhi karlena or hum usse mil bhi lenge. What say?"
"What an idea bhabhi!"
Sanskaar said kissing Swadhinta' s cheek and Adarsh to groan,
"Tere pas apni gf nahi hai? Kyu hamari biviyon ke piche pada rehta hai?"
The girls giggled while the boys were making faces at Sanskaar,
"Ab ye mera haq hai as the youngest devar, or ab to ek or aa rahin hai jinki pappi lunga main aisa hi."
He said winking at Rey, he frowned,
"Khabardar Taani ke aas-pas bhi bhatka to, pitega mujhse!"
Everyone chuckled at Rey's possessiveness and Sanskaar said teasingly,
"Haye haye dekho to! Suna tha bhabhi ke aate hi bhai paraye ho jate hai, aaj dekh bhi liya. Abhi se maarne ki baat ho rahi hai to bhabhi ke aane ke baad kya hoga?"
Amna who was standing beside him twisted his ears,
"Achha bachhu? Bhabhi ke aane ke baad bhai paraye ho jate hai?"
Sanskaar groaned and everyone burst into a fits of laughter when he pleaded Amna,
"Arre sorry bhabhi! Mera aap logo se matlab nahi tha, aap sab to meri world ki best bhabhi ho!"
The girls giggled when Twinkle said,
"Hamare pyaare devar ji makkhan na zara kal ke nashte ke liye bacha ke rakhiye."
Swadhinta high fived Twinkle laughing when Rey said chuckling,
"Sahi hai bachhu, tere sath yahi hona chahiye!"
Sanskaar passed him a sarcastic smile before passing Amna a puppy face,
"Bhabhi please chod do dard ho raha hai."
Amna left him giggling while Karan told his wife,
"Kya jaan itni jaldi chod diya isse, bahot bolta hai ye. Aaj to kaan laal hi kardeti iska."
Veer agreed,
"Haan pitne ke hi layak hai ye!"
Adarsh and Siddharth stood beside Sanskaar from both side and one by one patted his head not even giving him a chance to retaliate causing him to groan in annoyance. Everyone was enjoying at his expense when he heard Naina,
"Or maaro isse bhaiya, bahot pareshan karta hai mujhe!"
Adarsh heard his cute sister and hit him once again causing everyone to go into fits of laughter. Sanskaar whined like a kid,
"No one love me! Mujhe to aise treat karte ho sab jese mandir ke bahar se uthakar laye the."
Rey winked at his brothers and said,
"Haww tujhe kese pata chala? Aaj tak humne ye sach tujhse chhupa ke rakha, ab kya kar sakte hai tujhe pata chal hi gaya hai to!"
Sanskaar gave him murderous look before saying and walking off,
"Rehne do sab, abhi chida rahe ho. Jab chala jaoonga na tab samajh aayega sabko!Tab miss karoge jab main honga hi nahi."
"Haan haan ja. Bye!"
Siddharth said laughing and everyone chuckled before Mishkat said shaking his head,
"Abhi bhi bacha hi hai ye!"
Ishita said,
"Tum sab bhi kam nahi ho haan? Bichare ko humesha tang karte rehte ho!"
Siddharth said chuckling,
"Bhabhi ab isse tang nahi karenge to kisse karenge. Pyaar bhi to sabse zyada isse hi karte hai."
Everyone agreed when they heard a happy voice,
"I heard that! I HEARD THAT! I love you guys too."
Everyone's eyes widened hearing his voice when he suddenly jumped on Karan from behind laughing and hugging him causing him to groan and everyone to shake their heads, he kissed Karan's cheek making him grimace,
"Aww I love all my brothers too!"
"And me?"
Naina pouted at him and he said still clinging onto Karan like a panda,
"Tujhe kon pyaar karega chipkali?"
"Bhai!"
Naina whined runnig to hit him when he started running away and Kanchi said,
"Kabhi kabhi pata nahi chalta, Harshu or Vansh bachhe hai ya ye dono inse chote bachhe."
After a running session by Sanskaar and Naina and laughing session by the others, all of them went to their rooms to finally call it a day and sleep peacefully!

Raichand House
Taani was sitting by the window remembering everything that happened during the day. Her first meeting with Reyansh which she actually loved and then her marriage getting fixed. She was busy in reminiscing about the memories of the day, but one thing that was constantly bugging her was that, whether he would still want to marry her when he gets to know about her past. In fact her reality.
By now she was sure he comes from a family that is modern both in living and mindset. She knew they would dislike the behaviour or mindset of her family.
She wanted to tell him everything! About the proposals that rejected her and about whatever happened with that guy who came to last meet her. She didn't wanted them to live in dark. She knew one day he would come across the cruel reality of her life, she wanted herself to be the one who would tell him and not let him find it out after sometime.
Nothing would ashame her more than that! Him getting to know that her family hates her for the reason that she didn't herself know and that too by the behaviour her family carries on with her.
She doesn't want his pity. Even if after that he would want to marry her would be completely his decision, after all she knew no one wants a wife who is so anxious, scared of her own family and who can't stand up for herself.
She decided that she would tell him, everything about herself and then it would be upto him if he wants to marry her or not. His rejection would hurt her but not his sympathy and pity.
Sighing she went to her bed and layed down switching off the lamp she laid down covering herself with the duvet and let sleep take over her.
